I chose Yakitori boy's for a celebration Friday night with a few friends and one of the private rooms. It's the only karaoke place I had been to previously, my friends had been elsewhere. I chose to book during happy hour special where aslong as you meet the minimum spending limit per hour, they waive the room fee. Food was good but drinks were very watered down, and I don't drink often. Song selection seemed good but very overwhelming with many Asian artists even after choosing English play lists. As someone stated before in an earlier review, the videos in the background were pretty distracting and unrelated to the songs.
My friends were disappointed and here's why I may not go back:
Waiter didn't check to take last call orders as our time was almost up. When I noticed the time, I hit the service button and he came in and said "last call" in an "oops I forgot" tone. So I asked what our tab was up to so we could order. He didn't know, went out to check. Then comes back and tells us our total including the room fee because we "didn't order enough". What happened to taking our last call order?! When I asked he said it was too late. Really rubbed me the wrong way.
