Horrible!! Rooms stinks!! Very outdated for the price.

This place is okay for a hotel if you catch it on a Time when it's not crazy through the roof expensive. It's not worth hundreds of dollars. It is a decent hotel

Nice enough on the inside for a hotel with lots of traffic. Beach area is nice. They re currently pumping in fresh sand off the coast a few hundred feet so the water was very sandy and not clear when we went. Food at the cafe is good. View is awesome. Parking decent. Wait staff friendly. Good experience overall

Our stay was nice. It was an all inclusive New Years event. The only problem with our experience was dinner was cold and disgusting. The open bar definitely helped make it ok though.

Only good thing about this hotel is robert at the front desk, Hotel was dirty and our suite was filthy, sheets were stained, carpet was not vacuumed,potato chips left on sofa and chair, more hair in our tub than a barber shop floor checked out within 15 minutes of checking in, worst experience in a hotel, EVER.

Great place to host your special event! Great parking, right on the beach!!! The North End of the beach where this is located is soooooo much better than the tourist laden South End!

This is not a queen. I have a queen bed so i know this is a double bed.

The front staff is also unprofessional but their repair person absolutely nice and professional.

Clams to be a pet friendly hotel yet they threatened me to charge extra even though they already charge 25 a night for pets. because my dog barked a few times.
Hallways are dirty and not cleaned regularly. Had to ask for towels two times before they would give me any. Would not recommend

Oceanfront property family oriented the kids had a blast having the beach just feet away definitely helped. And the outdoor poor area is pretty spacious rooms are a bit small especially the bathroom but the balcony are a plus

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! We stayed for 7 days at this resort and are regretting not spending more for a better hotel. To begin, the elevator to our side of the hotel was temporarily unavailable for our whole stay. We did not see anyone working on it the entire time. This meant we had to go to a farther elevator or walk up 5 flights of stairs. Next, the hot tub was FILTHY! The amount of sunblock and other particles in the water made the ocean seem cleaner. The laundry room was over 100 degrees and I had to keep the door open just to start a load of laundry because of the lack of ventilation. Not to mention, only one washer worked and I had to pay for two rounds of the driver ($2 each) for my clothes to dry. Our room looked perfect when we walked in until we realized that the TV randomly turns on, one of the beds smelled of mold, the tub took FOREVER to drain, and the COCKROACHES. I wish I could post pictures of all of them in our room and throughout the resort. When we called the front desk after one climbed up my sisters leg in the shower; all they could do was send someone up with a can of raid. (Yes, we understand that cockroaches are very common near the water, but this is a massive hotel). We quickly went down to the lobby to talk with the manager. We asked if they had an exterminators due to the size of their hotel and he told us You do realize you are on the ocean; what do you expect? He said all they could do was spray the room. He then said he would gladly let us check out early... on a Friday night when all hotels around are booked. The amount of cockroaches we found in our room is sickening especially for us being on the 5th floor. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! It is not worth the money, especially for how far it is from the Boardwalk. We will not be coming back.
UPDATE: We drove back to Illinois after we checked out to find TWO COCKROACHES in my suitcase! We have now done over 6 loads of laundry and have to shake out every item we brought home! Please do not let this happen to you!

Maintenance and housekeeping knocked on door too much in the morning even when DND sign was up

Great view and directly on the beach. The restaurant and bar are good. Saw a wedding on the beach today!

This was one of the worst 3-star hotels I've stayed at in the last 10 years. Allow me to list the issues:
- The property looked nothing like the pictures. The pictures could have been taken about 5 years ago and mislead me to believe that the pool and walking areas were much nicer, and that the overall stay was going to be pleasant.
- The furniture in the bedroom looked as though it was 10+ years old. The mattress had no pad and looked as though it was thoroughly used (it had a stain in the middle).

- There were several hallways in the property that had no lighting, which created a dangerous environment for walking around in the evening.
- The bathroom lights flickered on and off upon turning on the switch.

Look, we re in a pandemic and admittedly times are hard, but this room was not worth $250/night. Cornering the market on VB Oceanfront hotels that allow you to bring your dog is NOT a reason to offer a terrible experience, and that s what Wyndham is attempting to execute. I would suggest staying inland and getting a better room from a competitor.

Ice machine broken. No microwave in room. Sheets too small for bed. No breakfast! For this price, we were expecting at least a cold breakfast. We will not ever stay here again. Spend money elsewhere. If you're like us you only take vacay once a year and you want it to be nice.

My room was not clean. The bed was made up but pillows were dirty and moldy on the opposite side. Balcony door was filthy. Supervisor only gave me 25% off of my room which was only $21 because I booked through Expedia. The view was great. Ice bucket was dusty. Wallpaper peeling, sink stopped up in 1 of the 2 rooms I booked.

Staff was friendly and helpful. nice to be close to the beach. Decent sized room. Allowed us early check in and gave us an ocean view without asking for it. that s about all the positives. General condition is poor and dirty and worn out. I paid $255 for one nights stay with my family of five and shouldn t have paid more than $150. The pool is awkwardly squeezed between two buildings by the parking lot and an underused patio by the beach would definitely have been a better place for it. The halls are stifling hot and sticky. The elevator is small and slow and there s only one. Parking is too far away. There s a smell of sewage in our room that i think is related to the slow plumbing in the building. I picked Wyndham because I was thinking they did a pretty good job keeping up their reputation but this place is gross and massively overpriced.

Not a very lavish place, but it is a nice vacation spot for short and/or weekend trips! The staff are all very friendly and the hotel is pet friendly, which was great for us (our dog really enjoys herself for a dog that doesn't care for water lol). Speaking of the beach, the hotel is located on the residence side, making this hotel feel very private! It is a short 4min drive to the boardwalk area or you can catch the hotel's free shuttle. This was our second trip and I am even more sure that this will be our vacation get away spot for years to come!

This hotel needs to shut down and completely renovate. Getting very run down.

This hotel is totally different from what they show in the photos. On entering the hotel the customer service is good but the rooms are small it has no water or ice it seems motel I do not book here nor do I recommend it The beds are of poor quality the windows can not open the air conditioning does not work the corridors seem like the heat sauna completely disappoints try to change hotel and there was no room

Not designated parking, you can hear the bathroom water run, room wasn't to clean.

Regular run of the mill hotel with a lot of meeting space. Fairly close to the water, not super close to the meat of the strip

Loved my stay there. The hotel was clean and everything was very neat. The only thing I could complain about is the fact that they ran out of bath towels.

Beautiful restaurant. A little overpriced for the quality.

The Wyndham is pretty far north of the center of town, which we found to be quite nice as the beach was fairly empty. The room was great. Comfortable beds and a fridge that actually kept our stuff cold (which is a rarity in my experience). The indoor pool area is nice but there were only about 5 minutes where there were not screaming children. This wouldn't be a big deal at the outdoor pool, but inside it is earsplitting. The restaurant on-site had decent food, but pretty expensive.

This place is not the Ritz Carlton. You get what you pay for.I don't care for the shower head looks like they have mold on them.The balcony doors had bugs on them.The hallways were very hot no air condition at all.Great for family with kids because of the location is quiet. When we arrived there was no showe curtain had to call front desk.The staff was very friendly.

Attended a wedding reception. Overall average venue for this type of event. Looks more suited for business conventions. Catering service was slow and unseen at times. They were friendly but slightly unorganized. Half my tables dishes were cleared and only half actually got coffee even upon request. Food was average at best. Definitely could tell that the entrees were made a bit too early. This venue is located north of the ocean front tourist area and has a good amount of parking.

Great location at a reasonable price,Housekeepers need to pay more attention to details,light fixtures in the restaurant areas over top of our tables were disgustingly filthy.

After a 4 hour drive with the wife myself and 3 children we were all stoked on getting in our room and getting to the beach until we checked in and they had given our room to someone else and had no other vacancies to accommodate our family. I'll never attempt a stay at another establishment owned by this company. Not only did they screw our reservation up then the staff spoke to me like I was beneath nothing and wouldn't refund our deposit saying we must have got on a scam sight which they had our information in their computer. Never in my life have I dealt with such incompitance. 2 hours later I'm still looking for a hotel that I booked months ago and now trying to explain to my children that sleeping in a car isn't that bad.

The level of incompetence of the front of house staff was astoundingly sad. My wife booked us for three nights at this hotel. Check in was at 4pm. We arrived at 6:45 and were told our room was unavailable but would be ready in 30 min. After a while I came to get an update and was given an attitude by the front desk manager to the point where another guest checking in scolded her about her tone towards me. Still... we waited. Finally about 8:45 another manager told me our room was available. Exhausted, and with two young children we went to the room only to find the key did not work. I went back, was told oops we gave you the wrong room. We were directed to another room and when we entered it was already occupied by other people. They were surprised as well as us. I ended up going back down and having to cancel the room and reservation and was able to snag another room at a nearby Hilton property. If you want to go on vacation and enjoy you should look to stay elsewhere.

The suites are spacious and clean, and the beach is right outside the door. The pool is small (and on a chilly day during spring break you might prefer an indoor swim). The restaurant has a slightly overpricedbreakfast menu, but the food isn't bad.

The customer service was bad, it took forever to get in our room, when we did get in the floor was soaking wet from the AC unit all the way to the bed. The place smelled like mildew. I d suggest finding a different hotel

I dont even want to give it one star... I booked "oceanfront " and its bs!!! The room we booked is not the room we got... .we booked oceanfront but the fact it says oceanfront and it is in fact NOT! IS A COMPLETE SCAM. there are only a few rooms oceanfront...DO NOT STAY HERE

The staff is really friendly and made sure of our comfort, the hotel is well located and the beach was quiet, the room was very clean and the housekeeping was done every day. The food served at the restaurent is good. However, the hotel is a bit far from Pier's (on foot) and the stairwells would require some maintenance.

Okay where do I start. The good...The staff....was welcoming. The location is prime... watching the sunrise over the ocean was beautiful and I got some awesome photos of the sunrise and of dolphins playing very close by... that's the end of the good... the bad..Upon arrival greeted by drunk patrons who engaged my 14 year old. The room was dirty. The bedsheets dirty... the towels dirty... stained with makeup? We arrived at midnight too tired to complain. We left to find a sock that was not ours in the sheets while checking to see if kids forgot anything...I almost died... thank God I had already showered. I brought my own towels for the beach we just used those to bathe. My children noticed the dirty windows and crevices... worst part the ac... covered in mold. SO NOT OKAY.... the pool is small and in need of repairs... overall would not stay here again.

We just stayed at your hotel from 7/26-29. It was the worst hotel experience I ve ever had. Our shower and bedroom walls had mold, the bathroom vanity was falling off the wall, there was a giant roach, stains on floor, exposed wires coming from the air conditioner, no towels/toiletries in the room. We asked several times and were ignored. I finally visited the front desk, to be given small swim towels. Housekeeping was rude! We even had to empty our own trash.

Some of the staff was extremely friendly! Others acted like it was a chore to even look at you! The beds were clean and comfy. This hotel is in need of major repairs & upgrades! It was a complete waste of $!

Excellent service and location. Right in the beach but closer toward the North End of the Oceanfront... Only hotel for several blocks, surrounded by homes, mostly locals living there yearround. Limited parking but they do have valet. Restaurant is nice and offers live entrainment regularly.

Terrible service, rude people, and dirty rooms. If I wasn t having such a good time with my sister on my trip, my stay would have been ruined by this hotel and its staff. I understand things are bad with co-vid and all but even taking that into consideration I have still deemed this place unworthy of my time and money.

We were there for a large catered bruncheon and the service from the food, to the room, to the staff was absolutely amazing.

We walked in on another persons room, the pool filters didn't work so it was disgusting to swim in and the only good thing there is the friendly server from Bulgaria in the restaurant. The rooms where medium size and lots of drunk collage kids

Dirty, 1 of the ac don't work,told they can't do-nothing about it.missing bulbs in lamps,carpet stained and needs vacuumed knows falling off cabinets,only sheets on bed,sliding door need repairs to open

Great location in less busy area of the beach. Nice beach and nice view of ocean from our room. All employees were great. That being said...whomever is in charge of bed making protocols doesn't believe in having blankets that go any higher than one's rib cage. Also the clothes dryers don't dry clothing. The vents may be blocked. Some of the vending machines didn't work. One day the carpet between our beds was very wet. And, the restaurant is very overpriced and food mediocre. Common areas were fairly clean but could do a little better. Elevators were very stinky.

Worst place we have ever stayed. Rooms are disgusting and filthy. Dog hair everywhere. Bathroom floor had blood and urine on the floor by the toilet. Sheets had brown stains on them, looked like poo. The sheets were not laundered prior to our arrival. There was a head indentation in the pillow. Sticky spills on tv stand/dresser and floor. Refrigerator had dog hair in it and food crumbs. The wall and floor at the coffee pot are covered in coffee spills. Sinks and bath faucets were filthy. Soap dish at sink had soap residue but a new, in the plastic at of soap. The complementary moisturizer was half used. The list goes on and that was at check in. The front desk staff called housekeeping immediately to do a deep clean .... they were in our rooms (our friends had the room next door, in the same condition) less then 1 minute and walked out. We watched from the pool and confronted both girls who stated they were all done. They hadn t even straightened the sheets & blankets that I layed back for them to see the poop on the linens. I then proceeded to point everything out to them, they did clean most of the things. Throughout our stay we had no hot water, our sliding door to the beach didn t open or close, our keys did not work to pool door, our keys were rekeyed 4 times. One evening we came back from dinner with a 7 year old that needed to potty quickly, our keys did not work. When the front desk refused to fix my keys.becausr I was not my husband, mind you I checked us in & had our keys rekeyed/fixed 3 times prior, I told the lady I didn t mean to rush her it I had a 7 year old that needed to pee, she said there wasn t anything she could do about it. There was a reception/party on the patio outside our door, leaving us no place to enjoy the ocean or our kids to play. Had we been made aware of this we could have taken our children somewhere else for the evening rather than the booze party. I could go on, I would not ever recommend this place to anyone and feel that our 3 days here have been overshadowed by this disgust and lack of service.

Attended a Christmas dinner banquet here. There was a whole piece of bacon and broken glass on the floor at my feet when i sat down at the freshly set tables..the coffee cream. On the table had skin on it..as if it was still there from breakfast...not their best showing im sure...but this was my experience.

Amazing dinner...waitstaff are the very best! Delicious!

The view is all it's got. No a/c in hallways or elevators. No point freshening up to go out. The minute you step out of the room you are knocked over by the heat in the hallway. Then by the time you take the elevator down, your hair is dripping and makeup is running. Also, the interior of the room is nothing extra. Nice counters, and that's about it. Everything seems old and worn, and the bathroom, which is next to the hallway and away from the room a/c unit, is like an oven. Not too clean, either, with dust and dirt and littered carpets. Definitely not worth the money. It's really gone downhill.

We had a really relaxing time, even though it was crowded it was still a nice view, and pretty quiet. The lifeguards could be more alert... My husband ran out and helped a man twice before the lifeguard who was sitting closer noticed.

The location is pretty good, but a little far from the main strip, luckily a free shuttle service that runs every hour to the main strip. Although the Beach facing rooms where we stayed have a great view, the hotel itself is pretty run down. Most of the staff is very nice, but there's this one manager who is always rude and quite anal. The food from room service is average at best. The room didn't have any menu and had left dirt and scribbled papers from the previous guest. There is however ample parking, though no complimentary breakfast. The only reason why we stayed here was every other hotel was booked for 4th of July weekend, but the price these guys were charging was as much as the much better hotels. I would say try the others, and leave this as a last resort...

Room not ready when I arrived. Employees unfriendly. No one smiling at any guests. Long line of guests trying to get a room. They said housekeeping is behind. That should not affect my vacation. One of the 5 ppl standing at the front desk telling ppl there are no rooms ready should swallow their pride and go clean a room. Placed a hold on my card for $20/day. Seems like they don't even know what the hold is for. Wasn't mentioned when reserving the room. One girl said it was in case i wanted room service(what?)...the other said it was in case of damages...Drove 10 hours to get here and the arrival is very displeasing. Not impressed at all.Wyndham usually means higher quality service. I dont see that.
Found a flipping sex toy behind the bed when my phone dropped and I went to retrieve it. That was gross. There were also Cheetos in the floor beside the bed when we arrived. Maids obviously arent cleaning very well. Was also told that they had no towels due to housekeeping being short handed and no one to wash towels. I probably saw 100 housekeepers running the halls each day.Not to mention every time we walked past the lobby there was an abundance of employees standing around talking.The ceiling was flaking and pieces kept falling into the beds while we slept. Unacceptable. I am confident I would have had a better experience at the super 8 down the street. This place is outrageous.

Give it a 6 out of 10 front desk wonderful some housekeeping staff better than others room was 7 out of 10 satisfying to me and my family food pricey but overall i expected a little more out of the hotel Wyndam such big name in the buisness.... Jacuzzi didn't work properly there were never no towels in the Atrium (pool area) parkinglot was very tight would i stay again No... atleast not for a week no microwave in room, had to walk and catch elevator to other building just to use microwave communication not so great here but has great potential. Last time i went to warm food during daytime a lady at the desk made me feel as if she didn't wanna warm my food she made about 4 diff remarks to make me think so but a little work the place has a chance... But honestly i wish we'd stayed elsewhere ..... Good showers and pet friendly hallways smell carpets could use cleaning

If you are considering about booking this hotel, I would suggest you to book another hotels. We stayed there for labor day weekend. When we first checked in, bathroom wasn't clean, sheets had stains that looked like blood, bed was broken, pool didn't look clean at all, and AC stopped working. Our trip turned out to be a nightmare. Although, the staffs were really nice. That is only good thing I remember about this hotel. This hotel needs a major maintenance done. Do not stay here.

This place is awful. Fair food, but the accommodations are poor. The staff is pleasant, but issues are not taken care of even when told they will make sure it is done. Air conditioner doesn't work well, room keys frequently demagnatized (and no, they are not next to my credit cards), and room was not cleaned. At all. No clean towels, no clean glasses (and no, the tag to not disturb was not on my door). This was after I asked twice. I was told usually they do these things every third day. So, I'm here two days, the person after me gets my sheets? Did I get someone else's? When I did get towels, they were tattered and were more suited for dust rags than hotel towels and the wet dirty ones were still on the floor. My final straw was the huge cockroach drawing up the wall next to the bed. Yes, I am here for a conference, but I paid for the room and basic service to it. The organization pays plenty of money to use the facilities with the expectation of basic services. Next time I will pay the cab fare and stay at another venue. I encourage others to do the same.

Very nice oceanfront view. Not many complaints about this place. The building is definitely older and it's age really shows. Any reviews that claim how the place is hot and smells in true but only to an extent. The humidity and the smells are obviously due to it being on the ocean where it's hot and humid which of course creates an odor. The rooms are clean and only the hallways have any kind of odor. The Jacuzzi was lackluster but not a deal breaker. Before being judgmental about this place, Check some of the other hotels reviews and you'll find similar complaints. Overall a great place to stay at a fair price! Staff was kind and courteous, rooms were clean, air conditioners work and the food is amazing but expensive. Would recommend the place when compared to other more expensive hotels in the area!
