Great wedding hotel, but parking lot is a nightmare when crowded.

The view was spectacular and staff was nice. The cleanliness of the room was horrible . long black hairs in the tub , what looked like wing sauce on the bed and chips and gold fish crackers on the floor. The jacuzzi tub that I paid extra for was also dirty with hair and a dirt ring . I really should of took pictures .

I had a great stay at this hotel and would definitely look to come back!

The hot tub has not, is not working..will not be for some time. The pool is dirty. The room keys don't work. The staff blames expedia for booking issues. Expedia blames the hotel. There is nothing within walking distance. People ignore the pool area rules..kids are using the hot tub as a kiddie pool. No coffee anywhere. Food is overpriced. No continental breakfast. The beach is very dark at night..This is only 6 hours in. Im hoping it looks better in the morning.

Love the location. Housekeeping doesn't respond every time. The hotel was a little run down, but probably just needed more employees. Over all they were descent.

What a wonderful, friendly staff and a great facility. Enjoyed the restaurant. Pool area was kept very clean. Rooms were great. The best part was the staff. Every single person who we encountered took the time to speak with us and ask about our stay. In fact Tonda went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Every time we ran into her she made time for us yet still did an outstanding job attending to her duties. The front desk staff was very accommodating and helpful. Can t say enough nice things.

DO NOT STAY HERE, IT IS FILTHY AND POORLY MANAGED! I was given a room without the linens being changed from the previous guest, and a broken sink that wouldn't drain. A manger finally came closer to 11PM with clean bed linens and changed them herself. The next morning I asked housekeeping to clean my room and it never got don. I came back from the beach that evening expecting to take a shower but still had not been brought any towels or wash cloths.

Very old and outdated. Doesn t look quite like the pictures.

This place was great for a weekend getaway. Oceanfront room and dog friendly we had a wonderful family weekend. We look forward to returning again.

Wifi is spotty and doesn't have a strong signal. Paint is peeling from the ceiling in the bathroom. One plastic chair on the balcony. Indoor pool and jacuzzi closed. Outdoor pool closed. No screen door on the balcony door. Would have loved to leave the door open for fresh air at night. The television in the room is smaller than any tube tv I have ever seen in a motel. Not great, not good. Also, if you want to get high and don't want to buy your own weed, stay here and hang out on your balcony. If you call the office with the room number they do nothing. So if your child is allergic to smoke like mine is, they can't go on the balcony.

This place is okay check-in took longer than I would have liked don't really knowexactly why but nothing to really scream about just a standard cheap hotel actually not very cheap but due to the area that they charge way too much in to be honest

The room was okay but it could be better. Eggs were wet and hard boiled eggs were inedible. Food was over priced. Place was okay but the promised public wifi was down. Rooms are in need of update. Almost all ice machines were broken.

The place is in good shape for its age. However it looks nothing like what is shown on the website.

We had a great stay but the hotel is dated and mot well cared for.

The staff was very helpful, changed out sheets and comforter upon asking without any wait, the patio area was clean and the beach wasn't overly packed in the area. The rooms were also clean

Worst hotel I've ever stayed at. No blankets, no pillow cases, and only 2 towels for 4 people. Once the front desk was notified, they said they would bring it all up. Now they aren't answering the phones and no one has brought anything and it's 3 hours later. I would really like to stay anywhere else. The view is all it has going for it.

Staff was courteous and the room was nice. We had 2 dogs with us and it was a nice stay. The beach was right around the side of the building so that was a plus.

The gentleman at check-in was not very friendly. He just looked at us until my husband spoke and I stated that we were checking in, not one smile or welcome statement. We stayed 5 nights for vacation. Our stay was very pleasant and we received immediate attention if we called the front desk. Room was clean and the hotel offered daily housekeeping. Not noisy, no foot traffic and very quiet. The restaurant and room service are both quite pricey. Overall, pretty good experience.

For the price, it is not the cleanest place and the decor and electronics are out dated; But, they have the sweetest employees with excellent customer service.

Stay away from this motel . Ocean front doesn t remedy lack of service and dirty rooms. I just returned from the combat deployment and my tent was cleaner than the room I stayed. I shortened my stay to one night and departed as soon as possible. -Army Officer

I wish I could rate this hotel 0/5 stars. 200$ a night to stay in a room covered in bed bugs and roaches, while there was also a period blood stain on the mattress. I have never been so disgusted in my life, I walked into a disaster. Now I must wait 3-5 days for a refund, in which I don t know will be full or partial. Terrible customer service and the employees were no where near understanding. Take your business elsewhere and DO NOT stay here.

I am so disappointed $167 for this... I wanted Beach view I m looking at a bunch of trees and branches.. My room was not available upon arrival. The room has no microwave or ice bucket. I am so upset.. I expected way more for the price. I don t appreciate the false advertisement on booking.com. This is the first time I ever experienced anything horrible like this dealing with you guys. The only great thing was the man that checked me in was polite.. that s all I got out of this for $167 then they had a nerve to only offer me $29 of my money back

Restaurant food was ok, ordered She Crab Soup, was served luke warm and didn't taste good - constructive criticism... sorry, just keeping it real. The pear salad was delicious, no complaints here. Hope the recipe for the soup will greatly improve for our next visit. Thank you.

Lovely, undisturbed view of the ocean. The Wyndham is on the north side of the beach away from all of the other beach front hotels. It is winter so the beaches are deserted and quiet with the exception of the occasional metal detectorist of laughing young couple. The rooms are spa is and. Lean. The beds are very comfortable with high thread count linens. We are definitely enjoying our stay.

Rooms are dated, gym has the basics but no mats and floor is hard. Staff is nice and friendly. View is gorgeous

Rooms need to be updated and stairways need to be cleaned.

Great location on the beach, super comfortable beds. Overpriced food and small bathrooms, but overall enjoyable stay.

Nice place. Tower rooms have ocean view. But hallways get warm from PM sun. Windows facing west need exterior cleaning. Restaurant: The scrambled "eggs" were questionable on the buffet. Maybe a premade food service item? They were chunky and watery at the same time. Lacked flavor.

Clean rooms and friendly staff. Beach access was quick and easy and the view from our balcony was great. Only complaint was our room was missing blankets

Amazing room amazing view double balcony suite. Has nice pullout couch small kitchen area nice bed and high thread count sheets. Hot tub was basically a tub with jets so not really for a couple or group but it would be the only complaint. His and hers bathrooms. Yes I said bathrooms not just a sink. Overlooking va beach ocean front.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, and reasonable oceanfront rates.

The hotel itself, housing 18 floors, appeared on the older side, and was a little shabby in appearance...but still a pretty decent place all in all. The washers and dryers were broken, and only the more expensive rooms...sorry, suites (ones more than almost $600 for 2 nights like ours was), had microwaves in addition to the mini-fridge. The rest of the hotel occupants had to go to the main lobby to heat any items. I took off a star for these things. We had an oceanfront view, which was awesome, and I enjoyed the fact that it was more quiet than, and at least a mile from, the frenzy of the boardwalk. I think it was a little pricey considering the lack of amenities, even being an oceanfront double queen room. All in all, my family had a great time...and paying more n not staying in a dismal hotel was definitely the best choice we made. The beach and the hotel were clean. We would probably stay there again, but will confirm room, stay, and amenity details with several different employees for the correct info before committing. Also note, we booked about 3 days in advance of this trip, as it was a spur of the moment decision. Have fun at the Beach!!!!

I booked in front of the beach and they gave me the first floor without a balcony and seeing for the horrible mount the room all wet and old.

AmaZing! Celebrated marriage with family and friends. Beach. Pool. Meals day and night on deck!

Like not being in the main strip with the other hotels.

I got what I paid for. 100 degrees and no ac in hallway. It was almost suffocating walking through. Room definitely wasn't the greatest. View was nice. Probably won't stay here again. Unfortunately, everywhere else was sold out, so I didn't have much to choose from. Could have the potential to be better if they updated the place.

The hotel was ok . The rooms were nice but the halls and elevator were ridiculous hot. They didnt know my name or checkout day even after i checked in they had my name wrong. They also took $82 dollars from my debit card and weeks later still not refunded my money beware

The bathrooms in the hotel were very small, and they did not provide adequate soap in said bathrooms. The floors were very sticky, and the bar was very dirty and unkempt.

Hotel was nice, oceanfront king suite with bedroom and 2 bathrooms.

Do not stay here. My wife and I had our wedding here this past weekend and I dont know where to start. The Jacuzzi in our room did not work. The shower drain was clogged. Several of the rooms where dirty and had to be re-cleaned after check in. One of our wedding party had to wait 3 and a half hours before their room was cleaned after checking in. The power went out in our room the day of the wedding causing my wife to have to change rooms in the middle of doing her hair. The power went out during the reception at least 3 times. When I complained at the front desk they did absolutely nothing for us.

This was one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. The grounds and facilities were dirty. Saw large cockroaches in the hallway leading to our room, and the hallway was sweltering. There were no washcloths in the room and when I called down to the desk, they didn't have any! Atmosphere smelled bad, and carpets were filthy. This hotel needs needs major refurbishing/renovation.

Dog was in the outside pool and inside pool with ( jacuzzi). Also found Pooh in the elevator.

Decent price but were doing some renovations when we stayed. Rooms look nicer than in pics. We were far enough away from town to not be bothered by traffic, but if it is important to be near the shops, you won't like it.

Dont be fooled. Were at this resort right now and if we could find vacancy somehwere else we wouod. Managment is very unhelpful and this hotel doesnt know the meaning of hospitality. Our room balcony and the door leading to our room was infested with big cockroaches. I have photos to prove it. They sent a man to spray but it didnt kill them all. I havemt heard one word from managment!

Good to sleep. The staff was friendly, even though they weren't the most efficient. Needs a serious cosmetic update for the rooms. I was missing a handle on one of my drawers.

This location is great to get away from the crowds at boardwalk and is oceanfront which is great. There was enough space at the beach for comfort as opposed to when we went to boardwalk and it was cram packed. This hotel was sufficient for our needs. We stayed at the main building and it is outdated. the room itself wasn t bad. For the most part it was clean, no bugs seen. Front desk employees wear their mask but as for other employees including guests weren t wearing masks. Dog friendly.

Little sad that the pics on line didn't match up to what I have hoped. Since arrival, wi-fi has been down. Also, rooms are in need up a little face lift. Ice machines are down. The restaurant downstairs don't waste your money on the breakfast. We found an old t shirt under the bed along with candy bar wrapper. Sheet had stain on it.

I wish I could rate this hotel 0/5 stars. I used booking.com which had some pretty decent pictures of the property and some pretty great reviews. Well at the time $200 a night to stay in a room with an ocean view didn't seem to bad seeing as it could have been more. I traveled from Fredericksburg to VA Beach for a business deal with school. Upon arriving to the hotel it looked extremely run down but I figured I would give them a shot because why not. Boy was I wrong!!! I entered into the lobby and stood in the line to check in and I overheard some military personnel talking about how they found black mold in their rooms and blood stains on the walls and carpets. I checked in and asked to see my room before bringing my luggage in. The first room (3rd floor, room 314) they gave me was clean until I checked the bed and there were huge bed bugs crawling around on the mattress! I went back to the front desk and asked for another room. As I waited for another room I overheard the military personnel again and they were checking out and only getting a 20% off refund because of the inconvenience. I then went and checked the second room (2nd floor, room 214) again looking for bed bugs and instead I found a huge blood stain on the mattress!!! I immediately went back to the front counter and demanded a NEW room! I told them if I had any issues with the next room I was leaving with a FULL refund despite the policy! I then got another room (1st floor, room 123) I walked in and searched the room and nothing seemed as a concern so I had my fiance check, apparently I shook the bed bugs to the surface and he found them, then in the bathroom on the ceiling there was black mold painted over, the other bed had hair all in the sheets, and to top it off there was a COCKROACH CARCASS by the door!

I went back to the front counter and demanded my money back and informed them I would be contacting the health department as that is highly unsanitary. They did not seem to care so I made it known to the lobby about the issues I had encountered and I left. I have never been so disgusted in my life, I walked into a disaster. Now I HAVE to wait 3-5 days for a refund, to which I don t know if it will be a full or partial. Terrible customer service and the employees were no where near understanding. Drove 4 hrs and when arrived we pleasantly surprised. The view was awesome and surrounding were equally nice!

Our bed was broken, we had to call and ask for toilet paper and wash clothes. Other than the room the hotel had an indoor and outdoor pool.

Good price and excellent attention! Very good place for families with pets.

The Wyndham VAB is wonderful and I look forward to get back to the Beach and staying at the Wyndham. Great location and the Staff, My Room are The BEST. !!

A warm welcome! A pleasant greeting! Clean and updated facilities. Ease of parking. Comfortably sized room. Well lit hallways. Clean room and bathroom. Ocean view and balcony. Alarm clock with usb chargers. Coffee maker and fridge.

Barry was super nice and started our stay in a very positive direction. He welcomed us like we were old friends and gave us good directions to our rooms
We enjoyed our time there and will definitely return.
