Amir was excellent ,very helpful and the front desk clerk Carnin and both Concieres were helpful and very accomadating...To me the warmth of the help all the way to the door people were superb and made our stay just perfect. My only let down is how Philadrlphia 201 had some reviews of free complinentary breakfast and that was not what we got. Either way will be back...definetly...thank you ,see you soon

I do all kinds of reviews and try to not bash places, but this place is just bad. We had hair stuck to our shower from previous guest floors and hallways were dirty. No parking included they put a 50 dollar charge on your credit card for damages until checkout I have been told. Well that 50 dollar charge is still on my card you call accounting no answer main desk no answer. Bad place go to one of the other 2 sheratons 10 minutes away it can't possibly be any worse, and this is supposed to be a high end hotel.

This place has many things to do such as an indoor pool, basketball, work out area, bar, gift shop. I find that unless you pay 50$ for valet parking Everytime you leave and come back, the only other option is parking in the parking garage which is across the street and is detached, and you have to pay too every time. I also did not think of this hotel as the cleanest.

Not a great experience. The main entrance was to difficult to locate due to construction (they could have posted better directions). The electricity went out for 3 hours. It's very dated. Needs maintenance. Service with some attitude. I've been in way better.

Like others have stated, the staff is nice but the rooms are dated and dingy. I recently became an SPG member and was excited for my first booking. It's just not worth the price. I was going to stay at some cheaper Airbnb places about 5-10 mins away but decided I would start utilizing my membership more.
1) Toilet was clogged upon arrival. 2) Carpet was dirty and had ripples/pushed up from the ground. 3) The armchair had stains all over and the ends were black. 4) The big AC/heating unit by the window didn't turn on and neither did the electronic thermostat on the wall. 5) Pillow case had brown make-up stains all over from previous guest.

Pretty disappointed. Expected all the SPG properties to have a certain standard.

Beautiful place, clean, and great atmosphere. Have lovely gatherings here for hemophilia events and wouldn't miss them for the world. This place and the people that set it up are what makes it happen...but the location is what makes it feel so good to be apart of these things.

I came to Philadelphia for a dinner party and thanks to this Sheraton location, what should have been a restful weekend out of town turned into the most stressful overnight stay I have ever experienced. When I made the reservation, I was assured of a guaranteed check-in time of 3:00pm. When I inquired about early check-in, I was told that if I arrive early, I can "pre check-in" and as soon as a room becomes available, I would receive a phone call. Check out time is at 12 noon for the hotel so I made sure to arrive by 11am to beat the rush to the front desk. I checked in and was told that I could expect a call around 2pm. I delivered my bags to their baggage holding area and made my way to have breakfast with friends and visit the parks to kill time. I never received a call for early check-in which was 100% okay because I was made no guarantees about early check-in. What I was guaranteed was a standard check-in of 3pm and was assured that "pre check-in" meant I would only need to come back to the front desk to obtain key cards. I returned to the hotel around 3pm but did not receive a room until nearly 6PM. I sat in that freezing hotel lobby with dozens of other frustrated guests for nearly 3 hours and never received as much as an explanation or an apology from the staff. They sent someone with granola bars and I felt so badly for her because she had no answers as to when we would get checked in or what was going on and she was immediately flooded with questions and complaints. By the time I was checked in, it was too late for me to try and make the dinner party that I had traveled to attend so I thought I would go for a swim in the hotel pool and just meet up with my friends at a late night event that was to follow dinner. I found out from the front desk staff that the pool at this location was not available for use. The pool hours for the Downtown Sheraton versus the pool hours for the Marriott right down the block was the reason I chose to spend a few extra bucks and there I was... 1. Checked in TWO HOURS LATE with no apology, no explanation. 2. Missing the event I traveled for in the first place. 3. Unable to utilize a pool that I based my hotel choice on.

The photos that I have attached are of the front desk line. To add insult to injury after "pre checking in" I spent over an hour of my THREE HOUR stint in their lobby standing in this line. Not once... but twice. I can honestly say that I have never seen a hotel less prepared for guests and the kicker is, the rooms for that night didn't even seem to be sold out. I expense a trip to Philadelphia for work almost monthly and sometimes more, but I can assure you that I will never again step foot in the Downtown Philadelphia Sheraton unless someone is paying me to subject myself to that kind of torture.

**Oh, BONUS COMPLAINT: So remember how I told you check-out is at 12noon? Well after being checked in TWO HOURS LATE the day before... I get a knock on the door at 10 AM, reminding me of my check out time. Classic.**

One of the beds in the room was broken when we arrived. We called twice to have it fixed and they never fixed it. The next morning the cleaning lady and another person entered our room before 9AM when checkout isnt until 11am. When we went to check out they said they would cover the valet fee for us and the bar charges because of the bed not being fixed. We didnt have any charges from the bar and they just said 'it must have been a mistake.' Then we waited for an hour for the car at valet and are still waiting.. never again.

Good hotel of revamped Sheraton in quiet center city location. Careful walking at night in area. Rooms are decent with small living room, dated furniture all with nice hallways and refrigerators in the rooms. Elevators have no security at anytime.

Worst hotel I've ever been to. Filthy, rude and bare bones. No mini-fridge, not even a place to put your clothes. Stains on the carpet and walls. No Bible. Not even a pen & notepad. Worst experience of any hotel in any city I've been to. Parking is also an expensive nightmare.

This was the first time I saw a hotel without hot water. I complained the first time, they said they were going to send someone in, nobody came... There is a rather*long* history of just bad service, besides the lack of hot water. The manager is friendly and apologized, but her employees just don't care. AT ALL. I used to enjoy the breakfast, in special this one waiter at the breakfast (I should know his name, but I'm bad at this), absolutely awesome, but the rest of the hotel was so bad that I changed next week's reservation.

It looks like the hotel is being updated. You can tell because the lobby is very nice, and the furniture in the room is also new and clean. But there are all sorts of signs of aging as well. The carpets are heavily stained, and in many places you can see it wrinkling. There are spots in the halls where wallpaper is peeling a bit. And some of the rooms have an old musty smell. Also, both times I stayed there the check in process was slow and inefficient. Staff was polite though.

Great place for a convention! All of the employees are helpful! We chose to be on the Concierge Level where breakfast is included, but at this time you need to go to the cafe on the Main level to choose whatever you like and if you show the waitress your concierge level key, the cost of the breakfast will be deleted from your bill at checkout. I would choose this hotel and the Concierge Level on my next trip to Philadelphia.

The worst time in a hotel for me so far!
The hotel is not cheap so I expected a good service but it was disastrous!
I couldn t sleep the whole night because the guest next to me had loud music on and I could hear everything that was going on in their room because of the thin walls.
I also turned the heater on but it was this huge machine that produced a ridiculously loud noise and I couldn t sleep because of that!
Honestly torture!
No recommended at all!

check in was smooth. was early and they accommodated me with my room... check out was even better. did my farewells and kept waking. zero issues. will go back to this hotel. walking distance to everything.

Fantastic location, great home base for exploring the city. The conference accommodations are great, and the staff is super helpful. The room was clean, but sadly my mattress was in terrible shape, sunken in in the middle. The carpet is also in rough condition. Overall though, good experience, and I believe they would have remedied the mattress situation had I needed to stay longer.

The staff is great very good to me. I had some really loud guests staying on the 8th floor that came in at 5:00 in the morning that woke me up. They also woke me up the night prior.

Just because you are walking to your hotel room at 5:00 doesn't mean that the people next to you want to woken up. I opted to check out at 5:30 this morning due to them.

The woman at the front desk was very sweet and upset that I checked out because of them and wished that I called saying that she would of taken care of that issue for me. Had I known the exact room they were staying in I would of done so.

it's okay clean nice but my bedroom door don't close you have to really force it to close it . but thats not the worse, you have to pay for wifi and you have 2 options one for 12.99 a day that sucks you can even face time or 19.99 a day for like a normal wifi I think its ridiculous ttat you have to pay $20 everyday after you already pay for the room that it's no cheap ether but well first and last time

Stayed here last night. Showed up and was told that they gave the room that I booked and paid for away and that I needed to downgrade. They didn t give me any money back. I then went to park my car because online it said they had parking. They wanted $60 for less than 10 hours of parking. So had to go get lost in the city for something different. I get back and the ice machine is broken, there are no cups in the room, and my neighbors are having a loud party beside me. At this point I m over it and I try to get some sleep for the night. You also don t get any kind of breakfast like you normally would if there wasn t COVID. I was not happy with my stay at all.

Many people said it s a nice hotel.. can t dispute that. Room is decent and clean, price is reasonable and you get free bites or breakfast if you are a member.
Yet, my check out experience is far from nice . The front desk person is purely emotionless.. if not showing a I don t care expression. For sure, I didn t get one thing I want, a receipt via email. Couple of my colleagues shared the same experience.. not likely to go back.

For downtown Philadelphia, the Sheraton is a nice option for the price. It is an aged hotel but still in pretty good shape. The rooms are plenty big and the staff is very nice. Is it perfect? No. But it more than beats my expectations for the price I paid.

I stayed here before used my platinum elite suite upgrade and there were panties behind the bed that were not mine!!! A front desk rep by the name of Chris is very rude & not customer friendly at all. This location is terrible. I will never stay here again. I will say I greatly appreciate the front desk overnight staff

The hotel was a mess. We were there for a dance convention. Escalators were working. Bathrooms were dirty. Several friends stayed the weekend and had many problems with there rooms. But I heard they wee going to remodel. We shall see.

This hotel lacked common amenities like free Wifi, on-site parking and refrigerators in some of their rooms. Our first room gave my wife a headache from the smell and we asked to change rooms - avoid the 15th floor! The whole place seemed dirty, run down and in disrepair, we even had to get a new remote for the TV in our room because the buttons didn't work. The one good thing we can say was that the staff were friendly and happy to comply with requests for service. That, and they serve a very tasty Southwest salad. If I ever return to Philly I am NOT staying in that hotel.

Terrible experience. We are gold members and are supposed to have a quick check in, no one was at the booth so we waited about 15 min to check in, in the middle of the afternoon. We got to the room and there was no makeup mirror, we called to the front desk and they said they didn't have them. This was important as we were there for a Halloween party and I can't use a regular mirror. I asked the housekeeping lady and she got one for me, ty for that..the lighting in the bathroom was so dim it was terrible. The fan didn't work and there was a a panel in the shower falling down. The windows were filthy and one of the lamp shades looked like it was in a bar fight. Sorry but for $150 a night I expected nicer accomidations. We will stay somewhere else next year and Uber to the party. I took pics but was unable to post.

Stayed here several times while on business trips, mostly due to location/logistics and no vacancy at other places. I don't understand how they're doing business as a SPG level 4 hotel in downtown Philadelphia with room and amenities in such dire condition. The lobby makes you feel like it's the first day of Spring after a disgusting winter, but then you take the elevator to you room and you realize what a grave mistake you've made. Hallways and rooms smell dank, old and stuffy. Carpets look old and are coming off of the floor in many areas. They've literally added air purifiers in certain rooms and are advertising those as "PURE" rooms. Good luck and Godspeed if you end up in an im"PURE" room. On one occasion saw black moldy carpet in the closet - although to their credit they quickly put me in a different room. On another occasion I have seen a room with no # - I had to deduce from the surrounding. Also the in room wifi connection keeps dropping. There's no guide in the tv, you have to manually go through all channels to find something to watch. Truly a subpar experience from a SPG hotel. They need a thorough renovation to come up to the Sheraton standard.

It's your standard city hotel. You stay here because its convenient. You won't be disappointed, but you won't be blown away. Parking is an issue, but there is a city lot across the street. Bright spots are the bar and the staff. Except for the front desk. Not the friendliest.
