Very outdated. Not clean. Old mattress. Carpet looked very very old. Dirty bathroom. An iron that doesn't work well. No mini fridge. Half the satellite stations were fuzzy. No premium channels. Not even a pen on the desk. These are all basic things that you expect from a hotel these days. I would rate this place 1 star if not for the front desk employees who were very nice, it's fairly inexpensive rate for Philadelphia, and it's proximity to the highway and Ben Franklin parkway. But location is relative.

Probably would not return. Attached picture of filthy sprinkler head.

Lovely hotel, nice people, great views from the top floor, but the club bar was basically a joke and breakfast was gross. Great location for sight seeing but with minimal restaurant options around in the cold winter, they need to up their in-house food and drink game.

Philadelphia Rock & Roll race weekend. Restaurant closed Saturday night. Parking is full. Ice machine doesn't work on my floor and they didn't give me the 411 on the hotel. Simple stuff. No TV channels lists to find the game on. Expected a little more for a $200+ room.

I was disappointed to say the least. I was unable to use cash to pay for my room, so I had to go find a bank at 11pm at night to deposit my cash.
My first thought walking into the room was" wow they haven't cleaned this room " because there was a used tooth brush on the floor right at the entrance of the closet. I immediately started checking the rest of the room which looked ok(but it's anyone's guess). The blanket on the bed had lumps in it & the pillow cases had holes. They need to be thrown away. Carpet needs updating.
I booked thru booking.com & it said the room came with free breakfast, so that morning I went down & I decided to check with the front desk & make sure & of course that was not the case. The clerk was kind enough tho to offer me a continental breakfast. Thanks! The bathroom had no toothpaste & tooth brush but I travel with mine so no worries.

I would have given this hotel 2 stars until we saw a cockroach on the bar counter after closing time. Good God, it makes me sick to think I ate the bar snacks in the bowl before that. Gross!!! And that's the single best word to describe this hotel. I can't believe this is a Sheraton!? The whole hotel has that humid air conditioning feel to it, the lobby is dark and unwelcoming with dated furniture, and the rooms are especially pathetic with old worn carpet that has black cigarette burns and stains and the carpet is bunched in sections from being loose from so much use. The closet slider doors are warped with chipping paint, one side of the room is strangely empty as if furniture that used to be there is now gone, you have to pay for WiFi (someone should tell them it's 2017), and the parking garage costs a whopping $40 per day!!! Seriously, just stay away from this hotel... it is awful. *Edit* My co-worker who is staying here with me overnight just told me she had a cockroach in her bathroom at 3:30 AM! Oh my God this place is disgusting!

Junior suite provided a great area to have friends join us to chat. Room was clean, bed comfortable. Only issue was the ac didn't get into the small living room/sitting area. Great location, close to everything.

This hotel was fine. The lobby is really nice. The parking lot is a little complicated at first and is $20 a night. The rooms are adequate if not a bit dated. Our sink wouldn't drain and they sent someone up to fix it within 10 minutes. The few from our room was nice. The indoor pool is great with sky lights showing the tops of buildings. The lobby gets pretty rowdy on weekend nights after the bars get out. Wifi is not included which I find to be pretty cheap on their part considering how much the rooms and parking are. The location is fine though not particularly close to any nightlife. Definitely decent for a couple of nights but not a standout by any means.

First of all. This hotel is dirty. It seems like no one vacummed the hallway carpet for years. Upon entering our room, it smelled like cigarette smoke but we were in a non smoking room. The concierge said we have a queen size bed but it s a full size bed to me. The garage parking cost $43 a day and we were staying for 3 days and their wifi also comes with a fee. Smh. They really need to clean the room to be honest. The carpet had stains and dirt all over. Felt like i was staying in an Inn or a motel.

Been waiting for a room for about two hours after "checking in" meanwhile I called a week in advance to make sure it would be ready. The entire lobby is packed with patrons waiting to get in the rooms that THEY paid for. I know there's a influx of people coming for the music festival but you should be prepared for that if you call yourself a hotel. So I paid for two nights when I'm barely getting one. Avoid this place at all costs it's a novice hotel service at best. I'm absolutely never coming here again and will tell my friends to do the same.

The hotel is awful and needs a major face lift. Some of the front desk staff were not very welcoming. Sara at the front desk did finally help us with our lost reservation. We were supposed to check in at 3pm. Our room was not ready until 5pm. The hotel feels very dirty.

This hotel is terrible. I am currently staying here for a volleyball tournament and they are not prepared at all. Check in took over an hour, there are lines for the elevator constantly, the bar does not have enough staff to serve it's guests and the bartender Brian was extremely rude. The halls to the rooms are dirty as well. The staff has not been understanding about any complaints and only offered a free drink - which will then take you at least 30 mins to get.

The price is lower than most others but even then not worth it. Everything is completely worn out and I mean every little thing. The place is being renovated but it is several years too late.

Way too expensive. One ceiling panel of the bathroom was falling off and the faucet in the bathroom was leaking. The fire alarm started sounding at 3am for 30 minutes and it sounded again for another 15 minutes. When we tried to do the checkout, they were trying to charge us a second time the breakfast. We left the receipt in the room and we couldn't get in anymore, so it took us 30 minutes just to check out.

It needs a renovation. No hot water in the morning, no heating over the night... The vending machine on our floor didn't work. The employees are trying their best but this is not enough.

Really nice hotel with a bar downstairs. Everything was overpriced, but it was in downtown so that's to be expected. We used valet parking because there was no where to actually park nearby. The valet took longer than expected to retrieve our car . I don't think they had any snack machines either which was inconvenient late at night.

Dirtiest Sheraton I've ever stayed at. The carpet has stains everywhere and the bathroom had hair and floss left from the last person who stayed here. The room is very outdated. The laundry bag even seemed used and when I asked for another washcloth the housekeeper handed it to me in a holey bag just thrown in like it was used. It was cheap for a Friday night but definitely not a 4 star hotel.

Hotel did not live up to its guarantees. It guaranteed a king bed and then tried to foist off a double with various defects. Too expensive and disappointing. Noisy fan and a/c. Will not stay here again.

Rooms were nice and seemingly well maintained. Location was perfect for sightseeing in any part of the city. Lobby and lobby facilities were a bit hectic and overrun while we were there.

Scenic, central location in the heart of Philly! The Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown is clean, modern, everything you'd expect from the Sheraton name. Friendly staff, convenient spot, and tall enough to spot easily if you're lost! ;)

Rooms and food are mediocre at best. Even though we had an "updated" room, the fixtures in the bathroom were poorly done (the toilet paper holder was broken, as was the shower head). There is no mini fridge, nor an ice machine on each floor. The service at the restaurant was awful and painfully slow. On the weekends, this area is pretty dead, and you need to walk a good 5-10 minutes just to find a convenience store. Room service is not all day...its only 5-11pm. Many better hotel options in the city.

This hotel is embarrassingly out of date and is in dire need of refurbishment. The floors in the halls were noticeably dirty with food and paper scraps on the ground. I called and asked for additional towels. 30 mins later with no towels I tried to call the front desk again, and was not answered for 10 mins. Once they picked up the phone I reminded them of my towels to only be told rather shortly that they were on the way. It is now 1hr 15mins since my first phone call and I still have no towels. Honestly would rather help myself to the supply closets then rely on their service.

Apparently Marriott just Bought this hotel and will be renovating it but right now it s aweful! The rooms are dated, worn out and dingy. The carpets are filthy, paint is chipping and the mattress is complete worn out. The location is nice downtown but I will never stay there again unless they remodel. I also left something in my room and cannot reach anyone in the hotel to help me! Really frustrating.

Overall a good mid priced hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. I have only 2 issues the A/C vents pointed directly at the bed so we froze every time it kicked on and the card readers for parking didn't work.
But that's minor it was a good stay.

Hotel was recently purchased and the rooms are or will undergoing renovations. Food from restaurant was decent and breakfast was good. The rooms we got were okay just for the 1 night we needed to be there but wouldn t recommend unless it s the only place available. Everything is old, the carpet is worn and bunches up in some places, the bathroom was okay but the fixtures need updating. The bed was comfortable but only 2 double beds instead of queens so not a lot of room for 2 people. Night stand charger didn t charge my phone and woke up to a nearly dead phone.
Hotel has potential, but definitely needs renovations to bring it up to good quality.

Terrible room, out dated furniture, no hot water throughout the building in the morning. The first room I was places in was completely smokey, the second had a broken phone. We rented over 100 rooms for our sales force and almost all had similar issues. Other rooms had drywall missing, damaged ceiling, water damage. Overall the worst Sheraton I have ever stayed in.

I chose this place for my Summer birthday celebration because it was affordable and it seemed like the right choice at the time. The receptionist was very nice. My room was beautiful but my stay was so miserable. First of all,
1. This is by far the WORST place to catch a cab. You're either waiting 20 minutes long or they dont even show up at all. Since there were no food deliveries because of the coronavirus, I ended up walking 15 mins in both directions, in the winds and rain just for one sandwich for the entire day.

2. Only a few selected floors were available for ice. (I think the 10th, 15th and 19th) but the ice chips were so thin they were melting before I got to my room on the 2nd floor so you know I was up and down on that elevator like 5 times. Then one floor runs out of ice. Are you kidding me??

Oh! And let's not forget...

3. The fire alarms were blaring off....TWICE at 3am. It took them 15 minutes both times to shut them off.

*Long sigh*......
Never again.....
That is all

Absolutely horrible experience here. I ve been overcharged and no one can give me a straight answer as to why and they refuse to give me my money back. Managers are rude and not helpful. Will never be staying here again. Good luck to anyone who does.
