The Starbucks is not an actual one, just an instant coffee maker. Mark up on items in gift shop is high. Room service and all other staff extremely friendly. Room nicely made after we left, and recently cleaned.

This is the worst hotel in Philadelphia they didnt have no wash cloths the water was cold in my room. I asked could they change my room they said nothing was available but have more than 25 floors it was the worst the white lady was rude the whole time

The rooms were run down and the bathroom smelled like it wasn't cleaned in months. I definitely expected more from an SPG hotel but was really dissapointed. Look for better options.

The integration is not bad. Sheraton is a standard five-star hotel in China. In the area to see in foreign countries, this room and facilities are quite old. For me, the impression is four-star. Wifi is charged, $13 a day, parking fees are dozens, breakfast 20 people a day. The location is very downtown, this is awesome. After checking out, you need to pay attention to the credit card deduction. The hotel may deduct more money. If you stay for many days, you can use booking to make a reservation. North American hotels don't need toothbrush, toothpaste, slippers, etc.

Well, that's not bad. Sheraton is the standard five star in China, and it has to be seen in the region. This room is very old. For me, the impression is four-star level. Wifi is for a fee, $13 a The position is very central, this thumb up. Pay attention to the credit card deduction when you check out. The hotel may deduct more money. You can have a discount for booking with Booking. North American hotels don't have toothbrushes for toothpaste and so on.

This hotel is disgusting and has bed bugs. Hotel was very nonchalant about it and refused to inform the new person who was in my room that their room had bedbugs. Also refused to refund me. STAY AWAY!!!!

Really nice and clean hotel. Concierge at the hotel are really nice and go out of their way to make sure you feel at home. This hotel is very central in downtown Philadelphia and it is a good place to stay if you are coming to Philadelphia and don't have access to a car. Great amenities downstairs and a great place to stay for affordable prices. Highly recommended.

Location was primary goal staying here for attending a conference at the convention center. For the price it was perfect. There is an inexpensive parking garage between the hotel and the convention center as a bonus. The room itself was clean but nothing special. Staff at front desk friendly.

I needed a getawayand I found a good deal with this hotel. I would definitely go back. I actually locked myself out of my room the first night. I had one card on me it wasn't the right card so they weren't trying to let me in the room. I was greatful because they did not just let anyone in the hotel rooms. I did get in my room and enjoyed the rest of my mini vacation

Really needs work. Air-condition not working properly, iron leaks water, have to ask if you want more than 2 towles, even when I have two beds in the room. Below the standard I normally experience in a Sheraton

We are currently staying here. We booked a style of room only to arrive and be told the hotel is being renovated so our room was unavailable. They put us in a room where the floor has multiple stains, the furniture is chipped, and the bathroom features are finnicky. We booked months ago and the hotel couldn t bother to mention the renovations? We would have stayed somewhere else for cheaper had we known.

The receptionist fight acknowledge us before attending to airlines staff that came in after us (the ladies waiting in line before us, 1 of the gentlemen walked right pass us to the counter and the other asked if we were in line and he waited)
Get to the room only to not have not 1 towel or wash cloth. Tried to call to get them and the phone didn't work. Staying on the 24th floor I was told I needed to go to the 23rd floor to get ice because it's not on every floor. No one should have to go up/down more then 2 floors or any of these other issues.... Especially paying almost $200 a night.
At those prices parking should not be 30+ dollars.....

Great location,

Great location,
Room was dirty and old smoke smell

Broken phone

Didn't get the deluxe room we reserved

The hotel was literally falling apart. They were in the middle of renovations, but the rooms of our whole business group were falling apart! It also boasted a rooftop terrace. There was no rooftop. The pool was closed the whole week for repairs. This hotel was beyond disappointing. Its saving grace was its location and the amazing staff in the little cafe.

Mega nice, big, clean, newly renovated room. Ours was on the 26th floor with incredible views from Philadelphia! Wow! Great location: 10 minutes walk to the Rocky Steps, Definitely recommended!

The rooms were damaged and dirty. The bed was like sleeping on springs and the pillow cases had blood stain on them.
At one point I was locked out of my room because the key card reader died. It took an hour to resolve that issue! Very nice to come back from a 12 hour work day and have to hang out outside the room.
If your in Philly stay away from this hotel!

Worst stay ever. Construction going on the whole time and the place was dirty. The rooms were like a motel. I've stayed at sheratons before so this is just a review on this particular Sheraton.

Very clean and comfortable rooms. We got in extremely late and asked about deliveries or room service, the gentleman at the front desk was so helpful. Had really great take out actually. Breakfast was great too!

PROS-I loved the location of the hotel, it was close to everything. Although expensive, I did appreciate that they did have valet parking on site. It was $40++ for overnight, which was about $50 after taxes. For those who are familiar with the area, or wish to not spend that money, there were public lots a street over. The hotel is huge, with a bar, cafe, computer stations, gift shop, and a rooftop terrace. A lot of options good for couples, families, business trips, and large groups. The bed was comfy, and the room was pretty clean. We had a decent view of the city, and were able to request a mini fridge to store our leftovers. I was overall satisfied with my interaction with staff, and their accommodations.
CONS- The checkin process was THE slowest I ve ever encountered at any hotel in my entire life. There was actually a line of 10 ppl or more when I arrived, and I was in line for at least 20-30 mins. There were 6 stations, but only 2 guest service clerks working. For a Saturday, I didn t think this was an appropriate amount of staff at all, and there didn t seem to be much urgency. There was a musty/dank smell in the hallways, not the entire time, but we did notice periodically. There was also an insane amount of teenagers occupying the hotel that weekend, my only assumption was prom. Luckily my floor seemed to be pretty quiet, but the lobby and elevators had groups of teenagers coming in and out every minute. I ve read in previous reviews that there is a pool at this location, we were never aware of this. Pool wasn t even labeled in the elevator. I really wish we knew that, it would ve been nice to enjoy. And again, I feel the parking is very expensive, and if it s busy, expect to wait a while to either park or retrieve your car.

The Philadelphia 201 Hotel is currently undergoing renovations which is why I gave it 3 stars. The carpet in some of the the rooms have bubbles in it where the carpet has separated from the subfloor. Some of the fixtures in the bathrooms are loose and there was an issue with the room telephone not working properly. I feel once the renovations are complete these items will be taken care of.

The staff of the Philadelphia 201 Hotel is very helpful. Michael and Brianna at the Front Desk were always willing to help and Leonard and John at the Concierge Desk are great with getting you around the city. I commend the staff on the service they provided us.

Really outdated and dirty place....I didn't want to walk barefoot in my room because the carpet was gross and stained everywhere. Bright side is that it's easy walking distance to a lot of great places

Do not go there. There check in is horrific... You will find used condoms and dirt under the bed and staff and management are unprofessional and rude. Only the Concierge, a woman, cares. I hope she can find a better job.

The new manager is homophobic and treats gay people differently than straight people. Horrible place!

At check in, they didn't have a code for my room reservation. We were attending the JA Conference. They said if they swiped my credit card without the code, it would charge the room to my card. I said not to do that and I'd speak to one of the people with the conference. Which I did & while standing in line to give them the code so could get registered, I get a text alert to my phone for a withdraw of almost $600- the hotel had went ahead and swiped my card. The lady with the conference said they shouldn't have done that, the manager of the hotel said she would call my bank and try to get it reimbursed immediately but couldn't make any promises. They also didn't have our room ready- they took my number and said they'd call when they got my room and would call when they called the bank. We waited for 2 1/2 hours and I went back to check. They finally had a room, but hadn't bothered to call. I stood in line to speak with the manager but she went back into the office instead of speaking to me. I got a call from my bank with the hotel on the line. The hotel said they can't do anything because it's a preauthorization hold until the conference is over Sunday afternoon. The bank said they can't do anything because the amount is so high and because the hotel won't withdrawal the preauthorization hold. Leaving me and my 2 sons essentially screwed.
Finally got in our room- will be posting photos later. It's disgusting. Mold on photo frame in the bathroom. Ceiling is falling apart. Leftover toothpaste marks on sinks. Air conditioning unit leaking water everywhere. Bed sheet has a hole in it. Dirt specks all over the sheets and pillows. Stains on the floor (which I do get that is not a huge issue, as stains are hard to get out). The air conditioning unit has mold and tons of dust/dirt in the vents. My sons and I have allergies and lung issues and we've been coughing.
The conference has been amazing. I could have slept in a motel 8 and it been cleaner than this place. Absolutely terrible.

3 star lobby, 1 star rooms, 4 star service. Staff was friendly and accommodating. This hotel is in desperate need of a complete overhaul. Not just a sprucing. It needs the rooms gutted. Once getting passed their decent lobby, every single floor from the meeting rooms to the guest rooms are in decrepit condition. Every square inch you look at is falling apart. I booked a "suite" on the 19th floor. What a suite it was. A suite of disasters. The furniture hasn't been changed since 1990. The couch looked like something you find on the side of the street as trash. The coffee tables and couch had cigarette burns. The baseboards were coming off. The one drape wouldn't slide open. The wallpaper was peeling off in spots. The bathroom woodwork was destroyed and ceiling peeling. The door had a big peeled spot where the previous lock was and a new lock was drilled in below it. I felt like I was inside a project from the late 80s. I literally wanted to find another hotel at that moment and leave. To top it off, five minutes after I arrived, strong wafts of cigarette smoke started pouring into my room. So much so that I got a migraine that lasted all day. Luckily the staff moved me, but I was placed in a room half the size. I had to ask them to compensate me the difference in cost and was provided points instead of a cash refund. All is fine, but the fact that I had to ask instead of just getting it didn't make sense from a customer service point of view. The food at the hotel was decent. The staff was good. The fact that this is a Marriott property and you get the perks of being one, like late check-out saved this review. If it were not for the decent Marriott perks, this would definitely be a one star review.

I used to go Sheraton Hotels all over the world....but this particular one is very bad. They dont clean your room fast(if you are used to wake up after 9)...the amenities are pretty old and dirty. The shower(usually the best quality of this hotel) was the worst e ver.... not so much water coming trough....so...consider other options...it was cheaper than the others....now i know why!

I come here for the happy hour with work people for drinks and snacks at the lobby bar. It usually isn't crowded so the service is good. However if there is a crowd from a conference in the hotel, you should probably find another place.

The stay was very nice. The staff was mostly friendly, and the rooms were clean. However, no fridge or microwave in the room made a weekend in a city where one of the best past times is eating kinda difficult since I couldn't take anything back with me.

Hotel staff talked to my entire family as if we were children. When asked if there was any complimentary fruit or breakfast we were met with a stern finger pointed across the lobby and told to but fruit at the store. I also was threatened to be removed from the hotel because my son was watching his phone a bit too loud in the hotel room. I can understand the complaint but not to the point where a security guard has to say If I gotta tell y all again your packing your bags tonight . Looks like a fancy hotel but really has less accommodations than a normal hotel and overly rude staff, which isn t necessarily the staffs fault, maybe they have poor conditions and are frustrated. Have never written a review for anything on the internet but this stay really rubbed me the wrong way more than any other establishment.

We were welcomed very friendly! Concierge Mary was immediately on hand with help and advice!
The hotel is very clean, the location is central!
Breakfast was very extensive and good!
Parking is cheaper in the parking garage next door!

Views are fantastic. The lobby is very well decorated, but checking in, there was only two staff members and a very long line. Parking is across the street, and you have to go around the block to get to it. The entrance is difficult to find, and not well marked. I passed it twice before figuring it out. You have to pay for WiFi, and movies are $18. The fitness center seemed okay, but you had to walk through it to reach the pool which left a trail of water from the pool to the entrance of the fitness center. There wasn't any towels when we got there, but there was a large group that gor there before us. They do have a pool lift for handicapped people to get in and out of the pool. It's not very child friendly. Our room was clean, but it didn't have a mini fridge to keep food cold.
