Arrived at 3:00 pm, June 24, 2018 and finally got checked in at 7:00. They said they were having computer problems, there were hundreds of people in the lobby in a line that wrapped around and down the halls. We decided to give it a couple of hours to settle down so we went to the Casino to play and have a drink. Didn t know the drinks were NOT free until the bar tender gave us a bill. He saw we were surprised and said this is NOT Vegas. We went back to the Lobby at 5:00, NO change. This place sucks and I will never go here again or recommend the Windstar Casino to anyone. Louisiana Casino s are far superior, don t waste your vacation on this place like I did.

We have a wonderful experience at the hotel. It was an amazing 3 days. Very friendly staff at all times and the girls at the reception, Daysi and Nancy, fantastic.We can back Soon

Super fun and Super expensive but you only live once right?

They need a better ventilation system. Because everyone smokes in your face everywhere. They don t have a designated area for it!!
All and all is an okay casino. Our blackjack dealer was a nice gentleman. He kept the table fun and entertained us. Blackjack tables were good but they gotta open more than 6 tables on weekends.

Great place to lose a few hundred bucks. Between the cigarette smoke and face masks, good luck trying to breath. Over priced drinks.

It's a nice resort and place to unwind. Never a dull moment. Buffet is amazing as well

I absolutely love this place. You might wonder why I'm only giving 3 stars and it's because I lost so much money.

They really shouldn't let people smoke in theses places. Makes it hard to breathe

The food is expensive. The first time I had crab legs there, they were fresh and amazing. I recently paid $55 for two people to eat frozen,soggy, smooshy crab. They made me nauseous. The butter had no flavor and ended up making it worse. The wait staff acted put off to do their jobs to seat us. Over all I could have saved the money on gas and dinner and stayed in Dallas to dine at a seafood restaurant for a better experience. The casino (slot machine area) was gross. No ashtrays, but tons of people ashing and tossing butts on the ground after snuffing them out on the machines. The wait staff out there had no idea where to even find an ashtray. One girl "went to find one" and 10 minutes later had still not returned. I gave up and left.

I love WinStar. It's an easy drive from north Fort Worth. And it's just a fun quick getaway. I can't wait to play the golf course.

Nice place to spend quality time... not so expensive either.

Went to Chaka Khan Concert, did not experience the casino!

Very big casino. Has different theme city's. Like Venice, New York, Cairo, and others to gamble in.

Great casino although the machines can be confusing when it comes down to betting so would help if there were clearer instructions before placing your money. Great buffet and the Terrace View Cafe has good menu choices but sometimes the food can take a while getting to your table. Very clean restrooms. Not many eating places nearby or outside the casino property. Like that they have shuttles to nearby hotels and RV park. Very friendly and attentive staff.

I am always pleased with the friendly staff and clean facility. The buffet food was good but many items we cold... Only reason I didn't give 5 stars

Went for son's birthday and was too much hassle to get a members award card. For him and myself.

Several places to eat and all with good tasting food. Gaming in casino was great. Outstanding selection of slots and table games. Numerous employees walking the gaming floor if any assistance needed. First time but not last. Hotel room was very nice also.

Just got here and waited in line for 30 mins to check in and then they tell us we have to go somewhere to get a players card number. Wait in line another 30mins, then go back to the same line and wait in line that s MUCH LONGER NOW! They have a broke. System! Such a shame. First time here and last time!!!

Temptation concert was great, even left a good donation to the Indians.

Some days are way better than other , but overall Ihad fun. I go there with the purpose to have fun; just get away a bit, not with the expectations of winning. The games have been seming a bit cold and selfish; I think I will be giving the Border Casino and Choctaw a try. Late at night seemms more like a night club than a casino.

I love this place! We come at least twice a year and the kids love swimming in the pool!

I am not a casino person but I feel like Winstar is typical. Lavish decor, slots everywhere and "full of tobacco smoke" We attended the theater which was not ideal. Portable chairs were jammed tightly together and uncomfortable. We sat in the center of the orchestra section and had difficulty seeing the performer except for the 2 large screens to each side of the stage (why not watch on TV?). It's like sitting in an airplane hanger (flat floor) not a theater. Acoustics were very good.
I would recommend waiting to view your favorite performers in a proper theater or arena.

I had a blast at Winstar, but it is so smokie to me, my eyes were burning, alway clean and the bathroom are very clean

Too big and the hotel was far from the casino. Too much walking.

One of my favorite casinos. They are usually pretty busy and there is plenty of parking as well as a great valet service. I like to stay at hotel overnight and really try my luck!! There are a ton of bars and a bunch of places to eat. You can get steak, burgers, pizza, hot dogs and a decent buffet if you are into that. I have had pretty good luck here as well but I usually play high roller games and avoid penny slots.

Good place to spend some time. Provided if you have some money to spare.

Made on line reservations for hotel. Tried calling many times no answer. Drove 2 hours tio find out no rooms for me. Used the free$100 then left. I will not be back. Might with the trip.

Buffet was good but same selections. The machines I like to play were replaced with new ones that I'm not familar with. Had to wait on the shuttle 30 minutes & took us 1 hour altogether to reach the RV park. RV host was very friendly & speedy with checking in.

Have a players club card and am comped free rooms and get free play based upon your play. Beautiful pool to relax and have a few drinks from the pool bar. 7,500 slot machines to choose from,table games,poker room and bingo hall. I have won 2 jackpots in the last 3 weeks. One for 1,245.00 and 2,023.00. I love going here. The rooms in the North tower are very nice. I get corner suites so they are nice. Lots of restaurants to choose from. Toby Keith's is wonderful. Go at least to try your luck. Have a great time.

Great place to gamble hang with friends and lose or win money. Depends on how Lady Luck treats you.

The place was crowded, no one was enforcing the masks or social distancing, the machines kept breaking down, and people seemed to not be bothered by others not having their masks on or up over their noses. The El Fenix staff was rude and there was a wait for 1hour and 15mins (What was told to us initially), turned into a 2hour wait, then our phone gets texted they are ready so we enter in to wait longer. I understand that Elite Members get priority seating, but at what cost or explanation to other paying patrons? We stood waiting for another 15mins or so because 4 plus sets of elite members came into the restaurant and were seated in front of me. At no point was it explained to me as a new guest to their establishment, that at all costs, elite members will be seated first, despite the fact I just waited 2hours to be seated and I was told a table was ready. Maybe there should be some guidelines in place or an explanation to other customers that regardless of their wait or how much longer it takes, the elite come first! The manager stated, "You see this plaque here in front, they are posted up everywhere." It could have been explained better than that, but nope! I guess he was politely telling me that I do not spend enough money to get priority seating! Either way, I shall not be returning to this establishment because communication is important and I feel the manger and staff handled the situation poorly. Yes this place is a sight to see, but not worth the headache that comes with it.

Need a better ventilation system for the smoke. Making millions of dollars and you can t fix the smoke

Very nice and very huge place to walk around. Me and my wife go when we get a chance. We win some and lose some but you can't always expect to win at a casino.

Large and spacious. I love taking my friends and family even if it's just to play a few bucks . The restuants there are amazing

Closer than Vegas, but just as exciting. Has everthong you need to have fun. Easy to get to. Plenty of parking. Great hotels around. I love this place. Staff is awesome.

Hard not to be impressed by this place. The casino floor just goes on forever. The poker room is clean and well kept, the dealers are friendly and knowledgeable. Solid poker room if you re looking to play.

It's said everything is bigger in TX. This is the biggest Casino I've seen so far...

I mostly always lose my money here but its fun. Never had a problem with employees. Its always clean. The music is a little loud but i just wish the cups were a little more sturdier and that they had better creamer and sugar options, i know they can afford it.

Had fun with family and winning a few coins helped..If they could cut down on some of the smoke ...

First time here. Very spacious. Hard ti get on a table even on a Monday night. Had hand sanitizer available. Some places no social distancing as people were crowded together. Didn't win much but will visit again to try again. Not many restaurants open late, only Ihop.

Great hospitality and tons of covid regulations in place! We went on a Monday night and had a great room rate!! I didn't get any pics but they have some very beautiful Christmas trees as well

You'd save money on health insurance and employee downtime if you became the first smoke-free casino.

This place was an experience, i loved every minute of it. There is definitely no shortage in entertainment, very respectful staff and they are extremely ready and willing too help out customers. I was looking for a particular machine to play and the employee came and showed me how to use the game locating device, greeted me with a smile and asked if i needed him to show me to the machine. I stopped by the blackjack toble and it also was an experience, not only was the dealer friendly but her positive attitude transferred into all of us customers and we had a wonderful game. Will definitely be going back soon.

I wasn't actually a customer there. I was just dropping my bff off to her Aunt in the parking lot. But I did have to use the bathroom inside of it. Both the staff and security I ran into were quite kind and polite. And the ladies restroom was one of the cleanest restrooms I've seen in a while.

This casino is a fun place to go for playing slot machines. It can be fun to get there also if you take the train from San Antonio. It takes a few hours to get there but I love the train ride. The 2nd time I went this summer we decided to drive for a different experience. This casino is very large with very comfortable rooms. They have a lot of places to eat with very good food. They also have concerts.

The casino is nice, clean and has tons of player options. I went to the event center for a show and was disappointed with the seats and seating area in general. Having recently been to the Toyota Music Factory, Winstar seem very dated and uncomfortable in comparison. Too bad.

The people the room's everything was wonderful except they have scaled back on the Winning on each machine and the amount. Everyone and I mean everyone was complaining about this, Winstar you make too much money on people for this, do better

HUGE CASINO! Loved it! Room rates high. Drinks pricey. Only stayed one night, need several days to explore everything. Restaurants plenty. Starbucks great for a quick breakfast. Pool looked great too. Can't wait to return here.

I had a good time at the WinStar, but wasn't completely aware of the atmosphere before buying tickets to a show there. It's a good hotel and venue, but there is no way to access the event hall without passing through the casino, which allows smoking. I realize this is normal for casino's, but I thought they might have set it up so it's possible to attend the events while avoiding the smoke. They have good circulation, so it's tolerable, but if you're sensitive to tobacco then you might get a headache.

It was great, COVID precautions well done. Room very clean. Fun fun fun.

It's what you'd expect from the world's largest casino: top rate service, helpful staff, clean rooms, high class, loose slots (and the slot machines put out, too , lively night club scene, resort pool and hotels, FANTASTIC GOLFING!

I enjoyed this place a lot more before COVID hits. The last time I went before I return to Texas, I noticed that a lot of employees act as they hate their job, especially those that serve you fountain drinks. I think Choctaw is better, though their minimum bet is $10 for blackjack.

Very big, so expect plenty of walking. As well as the smell of cigarettes everywhere, but they do offer a section that is non-smoking. All in all. Good.
