Loved it... I go here maybe once or twice a month. It's just a relaxing place for me, when I really need a break from Everything!

This is specifically about the hotel part of the "casino and resort." The casino is what it is and reviews are often colored by how you won or lost. But the hotel can and should be judged by its own merits.

It claims to be luxury and at ~330/night after taxes and a resort fee, there were certain standards of quality we expected. I was disappointed so frequently during our 1 night stay that by the time we left I was angry.

What you are getting is the equivalent of a 2 star interstate motel attached to a casino. At a 5 star price tag. I have no problem paying for a quality product, but that's not what you get. The best I can say about the hotel is that there's free parking, an attractive pool, and the mattress didn't suck. But that's where it ends.

The decor is drab and dated. Linens and towels are cheap and scratchy. There's no refrigerator or microwave in the room. Customer service is non-existent. We had a series of minor issues that individually we'd shrug and roll with it, but after a while show a lack of organization and mismanagement. And the kicker: after we'd slept on the sheets my husband discovered a stain the color of blood that did NOT come from us.

I don't understand who's paying for this and why. We stayed in a casino in Milwaukee 2 months ago that was significantly better AND cheaper. After a few nights the difference in cost practically pays for the plane ticket from Dallas.

It's a sure bet that we won't be sleeping at Winstar again.

Always a great place to gamble, they just need to bring back some of my favorite games.

Slots galore, I had a great time at Winstar, the place is huge and there are slots for everyone's taste. Exercise and entertainment combined!

I've been to Vegas frequently. This reminded me of the casinos there except here, everyone was nice and helpful.

Had a good time. We lost but saw a lady lock up a machine for 20k!

This is a big casino and they changed it for social distancing. Lots of games. Win some lose some. Go for it.

Never got to go in to this place cause we were working but oh my gosh it was so beautiful on the out side that the inside must be the same and loads of parking

The staff was nice. We had a beautiful room very spacious. Awesome shower. Only bad thing was we smelled paint thinner, they were painting out side of our room on the 1st night and the second night the fire alarm went off at 440 a.m. and by the time we were going down the stairs it went off.. we were on the 9th floor. The side entrance that we were using was closed the next night an had to walk all around the building. Was not notified of maintenance work. That could have helped.

This place does not have dress code.people are running around with their pants down below their rear end.with ladys all around. This should not be allowed.

This is a nice, clean, huge casino that does not reek of smoke. However, I have one big beef with Winstar. They seem to have absolutely no interest in installing electric car (EV) chargers. They don t seem to understand how many more visitors would be willing to come out and gamble at their casino, which is kind of in the middle of nowhere, if they allowed people to charge their cars there. Not only that, but if they had chargers, people on road trips might stop there for a few hours on their way through and SPEND MONEY! Please have them work with ChargePoint or another big vendor and get electric vehicle chargers installed!!

Been a couple of times to the casino now. The Mexican Resturant is good. Great chip and dip. Great variety of slots. The slots are pretty tight but wha/ do you expect from a place this big and nice. The rv park is great!

This facility has it all, top shelf service, plenty of parking easy access

Great clean casino, so happy to see all the precautions taken. Temperature at the door, masks required and hand sanitizer machines throughout the floor.
Didn't win anything unfortunately haha, hopefully next time.

Decent Hotel. Pool side service is pretty par- not up to vegas standards. Forced Ante on table game is a bit of a turnoff.

I love this place take your wives or husband you'll have the best time on only 100$

Ok but too many people not wearing masks,,,totally blows we away. What is wrong with people. Well get ready for a curfew, restrictions, and lock downs. If they won't inforce

The hotel and staff were very nice. Had a lot of fun and relaxation at the same time. Took advantage of the free room that was offered on the mailed flyer and was given the best service ever

First time there and have no desire to go back. Not one person asked if I wanted a drink in the 2 hours I was there. You'd think a thirsty human could at least get a fountain drink, but all the stations were closed. All the slots we played were tighter than, well, I'll just leave it at that, and the redemption machine wouldn't give change in coins, only bills and a ticket for the change amount that I just put into the same machine. Customer service said I'd have to go to the cashier station which is a mile away. I brought the ticket with me. Such a waste of paper. I was so positive walking in and majorly disappointed walking out.

They take yo money....no winna winna chicken dinna fah u!!! But it was a lot of fun!!!!

We stayed at the South hotel. Very clean. The Winstar casino was also very impressive. The restrooms were well maintained. We will be back.

Stopped here to eat at the Grand View Buffet and maybe play a few slots only to find out the buffet didn't open until 11 the lady at the counter was very rude so I decided to just leave never going back there again.

Very smokey even for a casino. $5 blackjack, which is nice, but also a 50 cent ante charge for each hand so your down 10% before the cards are dealt. They have electronic roulette with 25 cent minimum which is nice for those just starting out. Alcoholic drinks are not free. Tons and tons of slot machines.

I'm a first time gambler. The casino doesn't seem big from the outside but once you step inside, it's huge. There is a large variety of slots and games. Each section has a nice entrance. Dining was also available. I'll be returning soon.

So many machines to play and stuff to do very fun place

We had so much fun! The food was beyond good at Mickey Mantels! Had a okay night for gambling but the general experience definitely was fun so we will return.

Won a little money; hung out with family/friends. Very crowded. Very little social distancing. Took my money and ran!

This is place is huge! Make sure you follow the signs to the poker room otherwise it's a long walk

So I received an email stating I would have a complimentary stay there to book my room early. I did of course they asked for my card info to secure the room in case I was a no show. I show up and I am charged over $350.00. Needless to say I was upset about the charge, however I knew I would have to stay there regardless because my card would be charged. The room itself was great. Very clean, the shower was great. Very nicely kept clean. The casinos are great too. Very well kept. My only complaint is they charged me for a room they contacted me about. The manager absolutely useless and really not helpful. I really enjoy this place to gamble, I just feel like they used this "complimentary stay" as a way to trap me into getting a room. That to be honest I can go without. Winstar should not do this to anyone, member or non-member. Note: I posted a picture of the promotion they offered in the Google photos for Winstar.

Needed to get away from the kids and our town.... AND this is where we ended up just for the night! Couldn't have asked for a better time with my husband. We had a wonderful and relaxing time. Best place to get away for a short time frame. Let loose and worry free! Take frustrations out on the machines and turned up to extra money lol! Who doesn't need a relaxing quick night and extra money in their pockets??

Very fun! But if you're ubering/lyfting, be sure to schedule your ride because they can be hard to come by late at night

Liked walking around and the gambling was fun. Just wished my mom could of won big.

WinStar in the covit world. Temp checked before going in. Some things being wiped down. Social distancing no. They do not have every other slot or game marked off. Penny to $100 slot still tight with very little winning. I watched a lady play the $100 and lose $2500 in 10 minutes.

WinStar is known for extremely tight slots. It's been two years since I last visited and no change. Did not see anyone winning in the whole casino. Nice way to kill a day but don't expect to win.

You never see anyone win. Always hear people losing. I got my money's worth by going for the King Crab legs at the buffet.

I have been going to Winstar Hotel for several years and it's the best.

A variety of machines. Staff friendly. Only wish the machines paid out better. We Enjoy the complimentary rooms.

Gigantic casino right over the border in Oklahoma on I-35E N in Thackerville. Hotels, shops, spas, golfing, restaurants, lots of outside parking, covered parking and valet parking. Music & entertainment venue of famous singers & talent every weekend. Live, free bands on weekends in different areas throughout casino. Sports bar with gigantic tv to watch as well as tables in separate area from bar. Dancing and live bands in this location, The Palladium, on weekends as well. They offer camping for RV'S as well. A separate hotel that allows pets too. So much to explore and do here. Staff is always friendly & helpful too!

Stayed in the casino hotel and the room was dirty and it was supposed to be a non-smoking room and it smelled like cigar's

Great atmosphere , fun games and great restaurants it was a great experience .

Fun, but be prepared to spend more than Vegas casinos.

Great for being the closest Casino to Fort Worth, but, if you think it is like a Vegas casino, you will be disappointed. All table games require a $1 ante to play. This includes roulette. There are free soft drinks, tea and coffee, but alcohol is not free to players and cost is at a premium price! The Bingo is fun which has the option to play electronically so you won't have to go dobber crazy. The poker hall is fun, but blinds and percentages of bets are pulled after each round of betting.

The games aren't great

It was great. I won all my money back that I lost at Riverwind.

I really hate it when my hair leaves smelling like a cigarette though.

It was going good until I went to the buffet sitting down to eat a lady came in with her dog in a stroller she sat down with it and start feeding it!!! I was over it got up and left just money wasted

First time here! I had fun. The casino is large and the drinks were strong. They also seem to be following strict COVID mask wearing. I will return in the future.

Lots of fun. We go there at least every 3 months. We live in Ft.Worth Texas. It's a bit of a drive, but it's worth it.

This Casino has to be the cleanest one we have been to, (we been to 4/5 in US). RV park Windstar very well maintained hug pull throw cement pads,laundry and bathroom center. Best on yet.

Room was horrible bed sank in in the middle.... I thought it would be a great place to stop for our first nite of the honeymoon, oh boy was I wrong. Horrible beds. Great casino would have been 4-5*, but 1 star because it was that awful of a bed!!! Worst one on the honeymoon

What a beautiful fun place. Can t wait to visit next month. I was just disappointed that we had to pay for our cocktails and drinks. I must add that this is place is huge. Need walking shoes next time.

WinStar is great! The casino is huge and the rooms are clean. I always find something new every time I visit. I will definitely return.

This is like the wal mart of casinos, you walk in and feel the pure white trash in the air
