One of the best , and hardest courses in the WORLD! Tremendous staff , friendly members. Bucket list Golf for sure. Special thanks to longtime pro John Lanham and his assistants.

Only had dinner, but food and service was excellent.

7 handicapper here. Course was beautiful and the beauty was almost impossible to capture. Golf course was great, but about 15% of the playable areas were burned out. Greens were impossible to score on. Dried out & blazing fast. Would not hold a shot. Fun day, but golf was beyond difficult. When was a factor, but not the predominant factor.

Ho! Ho! Ho! We loved being a part of their Gingerbread Brunch. Wonderful experience.

Overall, a fantastic experience. Some of the best golf you'll find in the country, great food at the clubhouse, and a clean, spacious pool. One of my favorite places to go in KS.

Private club that requires the purchase of a membership to use the course, dining room and club house. Hosts private and corporate parties. Complete with a pool, 4 separate bars and 5 dining rooms.

I lived in the area for Most of My life. Had opportunity to Play this Tremendous Course in the Sand Hills & Plum Thickets. Will Never forget the time that Both Arnold Palmer & Jack Nicalus played the Prarie Dunes Course. After their Round in an interview Palmer made the statement, " This is possibly the BEST Kept Secret in ALL of GOLF " . Several, well I believe Two Holes on the course were rated, back in 1998-1999, as two of the Top Holes in the Country. I showed that to several of My Golf Buddies when living in Indiana & they couldn't believe it. Well Congratulations PRARIE DUNES STAFF for Keeping a GREAT Thing Going. I Miss the area tremendously, along w/ the Band I was in for 20 years. "King Midas & the Muflers" ! Rock & Roll.

Great golf course with loads of history. Be prepared to hit every shot in your bag and be prepared for excellent course conditions and service from the staff. John and the entire golf operations crew do a phenomenal job with all the details. Would highly recommend bringing a group and staying at the new cottages.

Heaven on earth. Bring your A game and some extra golf balls - you will need them!

We were guests of a member here to play this great old links-style course. It was a cold breezy cloudy day and we got off just ahead of the course MGA National Members Member-Guest tournament. The course is built in the natural sand hills so the fairways can be like roller-coasters at times. The bunkers had brown dirt and not sand as most course bunkers do. All fairways are lined with prairie grass that is incredibly dense so an errant ball is as good as gone. And, where we live grasses like that would be harboring snakes so it was hard to think of going in to find a ball. Our member host went in several times and he walked out each time with a handful of balls from about 10 seconds of looking! The greens are TOUGH. Almost all are undulating and with no secondary cut to keep a ball from rolling off. Getting a good shot on a green means landing a shot at or around the pin! If you get the chance to play this gem, take it.

Golf course unlike any other. Food was really good and reasonably priced. Staff was all super friendly and accommodating. A must play if you are an avid golfer.

The private Prairie Dunes Country Club is home to a championship golf course that ranks with the world's best. Here you will find one of United States's most admired open, links-style layouts, with an outstanding array of excellently crafted and challenging holes. Golf courses don't get any better than this. This private course is generally playable only by members and their invited guests.
