Spanish Hills Golf and Country Club Reviews

Absolutely beautiful course and an impressive clubhouse. The views are magnificent, being able to see almost all the way to the ocean and the surrounding areas. The course is kept in great condition, with challenging greens and strategically placed bunkers, even scratch golfers will find this course has character. As this is a Country Club, only members are allowed a majority of the time. If you get a chance to play this course, do it. I was lucky enough to play this course as part of a charity tournament, and I hope to be able to play it again

I was there for an event a year ago and the staff and members of the club were very nice and welcoming. The view is beautiful!

Place is visibly stunning but can use a lift or missing some spice .. reminds me of the Ondulando Club aged well but noticable.... It's your pops shop, kinda thing. Course is challenging enough to break your clubs over it. Drinks do the job , so you'll snap your putter too. Try Sterling hills after but this is a required 18.... Enjoy by serving chilled on a SoCal day!!

Went here for Senior Ball, food was good, place was very fancy, wish the dance floor was bigger.

Been a member since it was built. Friendly and not pretentious. Staff competent and efficient. Has full range of workout, tennis ,golf, swimming, dining, catering, social activities and special programs for family. I usually do not take the time to offer recommendations and write ups but the person who complained about gay activities in the men's card room was probably having a fantasy dream which will be unfulfilled in his lifetime and I wish him well somewhere else.

Being an avid golfer I have left several reviews for Spanish Hills Country Club. It's a great course a lot of fun will test your skills from many different levels but the best part is the staff. From the head pro all the way down to the cart guys this place is first class. Highly recommended if you get the chance to play you should.

We often bring clients to the dining room for lunch. It's quiet, quick and the food is above average. Oh yeah, there's the view.

GREAT PLACE AND BEAUTIFUL SETTING FOR A GARDEN PARTY OR WEDDING WITH RECEPTION. I HAVE ATTENED NUMEROUS EVENTS HERE, AND I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BEAUTIFUL VENUE FOR A SPECAIL OCCASION.

Spanish hills contry club is a great venue, the ceremony site is architecturally beautifully and has room for a lot of guests. There are a multitude of great locations for photography. The staff is very friendly and the plated dinners are very efficient and everyone at each table is served at the exact same time. The cocktail hour location has a beautiful view which many guests will grab a drink and watch the beautiful sunset on the hills. Don't forget they have an amazing golf course.

My friend had a beautiful wedding here. It was picturesque.

Beautiful Club, don't join if you have a draw. The course wraps around the mountain with MANY blind shots. Frustrating golf for a mid handicapper. Beautiful Club house, wonderful staff, very enjoyable.

husband loves this course but i did not give 5 stars because it is a little expensive

Good private golf club, although maybe a bit expensive for guest rates. The course is in good condition, but not fantastic as of February 2019. Summer months will no doubt be better.
Pace of play was a bit fast, due to many low handicap golfers. They're all friendly though.

Went out for a shamble tournament and was the first time we played there. Very windy but a very fun and enjoyable course.
People were very nice from the pro shop to the driving range. Had BBQ tri-tip sandwich for lunch and it was delicious.

One of the most wonderfully groomed & well maintained golf courses I've ever seen; spacious clubhouse with a discreet and well-intentioned staff; tennis courts, patios, and private alcoves abound. The landscaping is perfection with an attention to the environment and even the ponds have a permanent populace of Canadian geese and mallard ducks that have adopted them...

Great Country Club, private, outstanding staff and facility. Golf course is Excellent and very challenging. Dinning, Tennis, and pool. Like coming home to friends.

Was here for a wedding. Beautiful scenery, good service, good food.

Absolutely beautiful venue for weddings, it felt very upscale and the staff/waiters were very friendly. My friend was able to have her dream wedding here and we as the guests enjoyed the ambiance and the beauty of the location. The outside area is also great for photos, I would recommend.
