Sausage and Fries the best, great selection of beers! way overpriced in my opinion and one thing I don't like at all, if I forget to order some food I will have to go back and stand the line that is a no no

I had German food here for the first time outside of Germany and really enjoyed it. It's has communal seating so you're going to be sharing a table with another group probably. It was also funny watching other rowdy groups drink beer out of giant steins and boots. The line dies down an hour before closing time.

How would of thought that you can get some really good bratwurst in LA. They offer a large selection of different sausages, also you can add two kinds of toppings on your hotdog, which are included in the price. They have some pretty good fries too

Wurstkuche has an incredible beer selection and their sausage, whether ordinary or exotic, are universally delicious. Last time I went I finally caved and got the rattlesnake and rabbit sausage, and was pleasantly surprised! Reptile tastes pretty good.

Their fries are also fantastic, and paired with their pesto mayo, chipotle aioli, or chipotle ketchup I mean OOH MAMA IS SO DELICIOUS.

Sometimes there can be a wait. On a weekend evening you can expect to be in line for 15-30 minutes, but it is worth the wait. The food comes out super quickly, and if you come during the week the wait is minimal.

Wurstkuche is an absolute LA staple that everyone needs to try at least once in their life.

These gourmet sausages are unlike any other place I ve ever been to. Everything is prepared in house and they have everything from classic sausages like Italians and bratwursts all the way to the exotics like rattlesnake and rabbit!

The first bite you take is exploding with flavor. It s going to be hard to put down because you ll be immediately hooked and not want that flavor to end. To compliment these wonderful sausages you MUST order the truffle fries. They are double fried and mixed with a light truffle oil that isn t too overpowering, but the right amount of flavor. I love my fries more well done than usual so this is the perfect order for me.

Other sauces to try: pesto mayo, buttermilk ranch, sundried tomato mayo, and the honey mustard

Great service, delicious food, and amazing beer! I had the vegetarian Mexican chipotle which was full of flavor, after adding the toppings it was basically a party in my mouth. The service was on point, it was fast and they were able to accommodate us easily since we had a bigger party. Although the restaurant was a bit dark, it was a fun environment with plenty to do nearby.

My go-to spot in LA

My go-to spot in LA

I am a French Fries fiend! And Wurstkuche's double fried Belgian fries with truffle oil hit the spot every time.

The sausages are good too. I normally stick with the hot italian, I like my food spicy and it's also one of the larger sausages.

If you don't know what beer to grab, I suggest the blue chimay.

Will come anytime I return to the LA area.

I feel bad for taking so long to write a review on this place. But times are busy and I have a bevy of reviews that I have yet to get to. So, let's get this party started. My first experience with the Kuche was more than a few months ago on a Thursday night with a group of people. And since none of us had been there before, we were all collectively popping our Wurstkuche cherry.

In short, Wurstkuche is one of those restaurants that make you love living in Los Angeles. A simple idea of beer and grilled sausage brings happiness to the mass of Angeleno's and transplants that dot the city. What else can be said that hasn't already been written? Nothing. The sausages are that good at the selection of Belgian beer is that legit.

If you haven't been, tomorrow is Saturday and it's supposed to be beautiful day. Grab that significant other, that best friend or your loyal dog and take a trip down to the Kuche and do work.

It would have been a 5 but the male cashier with pink hair is so rude has zero customer service. I love how before you order your meal you get to order your beverage and drink while waiting in line.

The sausages are fine and there's a decent selection. The real winner here are the fries (with or without truffle glaze, doesn't matter), the large selection of beers on draft, and the butcher paper and crayons. Personally, I prefer the location on Lincoln in Venice, but they're generally mirrors of one another.

I love that this place can accommodate a ton of people. Beers are plentiful although they are mostly European as should be expected. I'm not crazy for the sausages but the fries are great! Parking is street parking only so you might have issues finding a spot.

Biggest variety of sausage I have ever seen! Bratwurst, bockwurst, Italian? They have that! Kielbasa, vegetarian, chicken? They have that! Duck, pheasant, lamb, rabbit? Yep, they have that and rattlesnake too!

Add a side of Belgian fries (like french fries, except better) and a delicious German or Belgian brew and you have the best meal in LA!

The Art District is a great neighborhood. After your meal at Wurstkuche you enjoy a beer at Art District Brewing Company or Angel City Brewery. If wine is more your taste try Pali Wine. If you just want something sweet try The Pie Hole or Salt and Straw for specialty ice cream.

I'm not a local but I'm in LA a lot and this is my go to place. I highly recommend it!

Come for a wide variety of bratwurst and sausages and stay for the even better selection of beer. This is an awesome place to hang out with friends and enjoy a few beers and have something good to eat along with it. There are a lot of other cool sites to see around this place so it's definitely an awesome place to end the night.

The hot dogs are the bomb, you can already tell by the amount of reviews. I don't eat pork so I was stoked to find the Lamb dog. It doesn't have any pork and it kills it. Imagine a gyro dog. But better. Get it with sweet or spicy peppers & onions and finish it off with a little Tzatziki and you are set on you way to heaven.

The vibes of the place are cool and if you don't want to wait in line, because there will always be a line. Go on a week night.

Great Service. Was asked while in line if an adult beverage was needed while waiting . Good selection of . Good selection of encased meats and non-meats as well. Everyone in our party liked what they ordered. Fries were great too. What stands out to me is the restaurant design. The space itself is awkward. With sharp corners and long walkways, but they made it work. Great place for a quick bite or to hang out.

This place has a modern vibe that fits most crowds but most don't know to cook. The bread is weak dry flavorless. The sausage has potential but it's over cooked with no adjustments available on how you want it cooked. Leaving all the potential of the sausage ruined. Also they still use pork sausage to cover the exotics except for two. The vegetarian dogs taste like they have been cooked in meat which they have been they weren't separated still like tasting dull soy and tofu with your toppings adding most of the flavor. Overall just another over hyped spot with potential. Then the fries help understand why they have sugar? Also the oil was old and over fried this place just doesn't add up to the hype.

If a 6 star review was available, it still wouldn't accurately describe this amazing place. Food was delicious. Beers were spot on. Customer service was awesome. Place was clean and inviting. Just go already and be hungry!

Are you in the mood for some good sausage? We'll come on down, they've got a great selection of sausages to choose from, the prices are fair, and you must try the fries with the chipotle dipping sauce! And we all know you can't have a sausage without a beer, they have a great selection of beer!!!

Hidden at the outskirts of the Art District, I come here when I am craving a fancy hot dog and some good beer. They offer a variety of unique sausages from rabbit, to alligator to Filipino style. The fries are also doubled fried and they have a huge selection of both dipping sauces and beer. It is a great place to grab lunch during the work day and a place to hang out on a Saturday night. If you come here on a Friday or Saturday night prepare to wait in line for at least 30 minutes.

I heard great things about this place, and had to give it a try, and man it did not disappoint. For one, I'm not a huge fan of German food, so I went in kind of skeptical, but after my first bite, I was totally amazed. I love how you're in this very simple place and nothing fancy at all, kind of like a typical hot dog stand, but the hot dog is anything but typical and bursting with flavor. I definitely loved it and plan to come back, the only thing that was disappointing was that I didn't have enough room to try all the other flavors.

Always love coming here for a meal. The atmosphere is awesome and the sausages are delicious. they have lots of different beers to choose from and they are more than happy to let you try a couple before you order. You can't go wrong coming here for a meal with friends or coworkers, as the farm table seating promotes eating with groups. Would definitely recommend as a go to downtown eatery.

The sausages were delicious. I took my children not knowing if it was kid friendly. They were the only kids there but really enjoyed the exotic sausages. We tried the rattlesnake, rabbit, and the duck. All delicious would definitely come back and try some of the multiple beers they have on tap there. The line was a little long but it moved pretty fast.
