I ate so much of this place when it first opened, I got sick of it. Its a great casual place for good meal and beer that wont break the bank.

Wish they had more seating.

It's good, the line was very long. Not sure it's worth waiting in line for.. But if you want to try some exotic sausages, and excellent fries, this is a good spot.. They also have a really good drink selection.

I went here after hearing so much about this place on different blogs and websites. So if anyone was wondering is it amazing YES!!!! Let me tell you about it when you first enter you are greeted by this modern looking small room, sometimes theres a wait but when I went there wasn't you will wonder what's going on for a bit until you get closer and see the menu. There's a lot of options but the staff was very helpful, I asked the best question I usually ask when I go somewhere "What is the most popular item on the menu?". I chose the Classic Bratwurst and also I chose to get a side of the fries and with the small order it comes with one special sauce, I chose the Pesto Mayo, wow it was amazing. The fries are huge the bratwurst was the best I've had in my life, seriously it's that good. It has a fairly large seating area, a great back bar and even a dedicated DJ booth area. There's a water dispenser if you want water that has cucumbers in it, which was rad. Theres giant condiment pourers with like Dijon Mustard and Ketchup so condiments are never far away. Once you order they bring the food to you. The meal was huge and 11 bucks. By far it's a great place to go especially if you want to goto some of the bars in Little Tokyo or around the corner in the Arts District. Highly Recommended.

It's great. Great food, great service, great drinks. Wait can be long, PARKING IS HORRENDOUS. So peek well, drivers. Parking troubles or not, and if anyone's in walking distance, definitely worth it.

Unique experience. The vegetarian sausage I tried and the fries were really good. Variety of options for sausages (vegetarian too!) and drinks. The mead hall vibe is super cool. The neighbourhood is a bit scary at night so be careful. If you park your car near this restaurant it's likely going to be 5 dollars more than anywhere else. All in all, it was tasty food and a cool experience.

Had my birthday here, which turned out great! Aside from the huge line to order, its a quality spot. Very interesting menu, I was hesitant in trying the mango rattlesnake hot dog, but my goodness....was it superb! Couldn't stop telling everyone to check it out. Definitely a retread joint.

Came to Wurstkuche on Friday night with friends, I am not a big fan of bratwurst, but I was willing to give it a try. There was a line when we got there, but we were offered a sampling of their most popular item the Rattlesnake and Rabbit with jalapeno peppers and it was extremely good. I would have never tried this without the sample since I am not an adventurous eater. I ended up ordering the Rattlesnake and added some fries with the addicting chipotle aioli and that was also very tasty. So great food and a dj playing playing some good music in the background, made for a great dinner experience.

A top 10 LA restaurant in terms of volume, reviews and hype for many years now. It's a must try. I first came here a few years ago, before I was yelping and then again during the year of the Burger 2011. I recall they were doing amazing things, things that translated into the burger world and probably made it in part, what it is today.

Buffalo, Duck, Croc, Rabbit exotics and not nearly at the $15 price range of a burger patty. I found the buffalo and croc dry, Duck was too fatty, and the rabbit was bland, perhaps to light for my tastes.

I personally love the gourmet because of the Austin Blues, Maharlika, Santa Fe Jack. Maharlika reminds me of my roots, but not quite as authentic. Santa Fe spicing and jalapeno works perfect with the turkey and to me wouldn't work so well with beef, pork or chicken.. Austin blues is hot, spicy, but plenty of smoke flavor.

The hot Italian is densely flavored and you can really tell the quality of their pork in this one. Bockwurst is excellent intro to exotics with the veal.

Love the sauces, all housemade, love the toppings, all housemade, but the fries are what people rave about. I knew the Belgian waffle was better than regular, but who knew their fries put a hurt on regular Frenches so well. Chipotle aioli is smooth, but flavorful and is my favorite. All are good, but for their own reasons. I do not reccoment the white truffle oil glaze. Knowing the price of truffles and realizing it's synthesized and not the same makes it not worth trying a pretty much perfected frie. Lines out the door most of the time because it's freaking good and inexpensive. Don't look for steady BBQ smoke trail, sausage smoking is a little different.

Wide selection of sausages. They have a Filipino one! The price is reasonable. The inside is very cozy and dark. I like it that way but some of my friends don't. It's decent place to get drunk on a Friday night lol

All around an amazing place for food and beer. The crazy list of sausages and German and Belgian beers will keep you coming back. Plenty of indoor seating with DJ, or an outdoor patio.

They have gourmet dogs with hot dogs and sausages ranging from rattlesnake to rabbit. There is a display case of all these dogs before you order, so you can see it before you make your final decision. There is usually a line on weekends, but there is a staff that walks around to ask if you want anything to drink while you re waiting which is great customer service.

The hot dog was on point, and there are a bunch of homemade sauces to accompany it! After you order, there is a huge seating area in the back! They even have a DJ spinning live. You can also go to the bar and order a drink. I really love the vibe of this place!

The only downside is that street parking can be difficult.

The burgers here are amazing I think what makes them so good is their meat.. very juicy great flavored I orders well done and it was cooked to perfection. I have had experiences before in different restaurants where I order well done and the meat is dry. Here a whole different story I would definitely recommend this place. Also try their chilly fries yummy!!!

Talk about a great selection of classic and fusion German sausages. So many choices and the beer selections are great too. The atmosphere is classic American German brewhouse with communal tables. Make sure you try a few different sausages before you try a few beers - the beers are strong.

Kidding.

Get yer snack and drink on at this place, and while you wait for your order to be called, grab the best crayons and scribble a game of Dots. Yes, Dots. Everyone plays Hangman, knowutImean, Vern?

Plan ahead for parking or borrow your friend's wee car when you go.

Tried the lamb hot dog, one of the chicken hot dogs and also a veggie hot dog and all of them were good. The place had good ambiance and a nice dj playing good music, so it was all perfect for out first time visit there. And btw it was our first time trying a hot dog and we loved what we ate.

Okay so I was definitely nearly deterred from the place because of the line. However, the line did move rather quickly, I used over half the time just deciding what to get, and they served beer in line once inside. Once the food came, I was so glad I stayed. Everyone at the table raved about their order. I normally think fries are just meh, but these were so good and the sauces were all very delicious. I do think the place was overly dark, it felt more like a club than a restaurant. Still highly recommend!

First time there and my girlfriend had the pheasant sausage dog and I had the rattle snake one. Pheasant was sweet to me and really good. It tasted like chicken with a hidden beef flavor in it but was delicious and the rattle snake one was SO JUICY! I mean who knew that rattle snake had the WAP (lol i had to) okay, enough shenanigans, the snake was super juicy and I would definitely go again!
Also try their sodas, I'll post what I got in the pics and enjoy everyone!

I had the apple sage and got food poisoning, totally messed up the 2 days my girlfriend and I had in LA. Other than that it was really hip, fun staff great fries, tasty bitburger. But the food poisoning is bad. So idk.

Great spot, a little crowded. The food is good but could use a little more flavor and a little more German love. The Jaeger Schnitzel was a little dry and the spatzle lacked as well. Atmosphere is great though like a German guesthouse. You do feel rushed though as they want to quickly turn over tables.

For me, this restaurant was the best! The foods, drinks, and desserts that they served taste fantastic and yummy. My boyfriend and I truly enjoyed our visit here. The waiter entertained us with respect and full of responsibility. Besides, the place was really captivating to take a photo. It was stylish, modern, and very clean. Highly Recommended!

One of my standard go tos in the arts district. Sometimes there is a big line, and it probably closes earlier than you would like, but the sausages are outstanding and the atmosphere is good. Great selection of beers too.

Stylish interior as a beer hall with California feel. Variety of sausages and beers served here. Well located in the Art District area where you can walk around and enjoy a few other shops around this artistic neighborhood.

Before COVID this place was a great spot for a few beers and some sausage. Now it's still great but I can only get it delivery, and I'm so happy I can. They have a ton of wonderful sausages, but they also have some real exotic meats as well. Besides normal beef and pork, there's duck, buffalo, and even sausage with rattlesnake in it. Their fries are some of the best. Enjoy.

It's hard to go wrong with beer, brats, and fries....

It's hard to go wrong with beer, brats, and fries. What sticks out most, though, was one of the employees taking beer orders from the counter to customers.

After glancing at the long lists of unfamiliar Belgian and German beers, I flagged him down and asked for a recommendation. With a handful of easy questions meant to hone on in my preferences, he landed me on a great Belgian (St. Feuillien). Super helpful.

Make sure you get fries, and at last try their various mustards spread out across the tables. I'm not usually a mustard guy, but hot damn the whole grain mustard was amazing.
