Hella good, hella long wait. But you can order beer while in line if you're inside the door.

Priced reasonably. One of my go to places in LA. Cool place if you like German beer, sausage, and fat fries. Or if you think you might. I don t like fat fries normally, but they re done well here. And the selection of food is awesome: duck, lamb, rattlesnake. Definitely different, and also amazing.
Louisiana hot links are the best! Get the strongest German beer for a good buzz! Price is worth it.
Great assortment of Belgian and German beers. The sausages and frites were spectacular. It was a loud room.
Truffle fries and lamb sausages were bomb. That beer LeTrap is the one to get !!!!
If you have never been here, then you know nothing about sausages, fries, and beer!
Just saying!
Tried about 6 different Bratz/sausages. Each was perfectly cooked. Tables had a huge assortment of mustard laid out. Beer selection included some great German and Belgian choices. Definitely will be visiting again to try more of the Bratz.
For a quick and easy meal in the Arts District, I highly recommend Wurstkuche. Food comes out fast and the laid back dining atmosphere was a nice change of pace for me. I liked that I was eating gourmet food (or at least above-average hot dogs) without having to dress up. The hot dogs are priced reasonably (between $5-$8) and the thick-cut Belgian fries are delicious! The small comes with one dipping sauce and the large fries come with two.
A fav spot for quality German food. This place is absolutely one of my favorites. The service was very welcoming and observant. Bring your hunger - portions are generous.
Great bartenders, excellent food, nice music and the beer is selection is A+!
I always get the rattlesnake sausage but I know that all of them are delicious. Amazing beer list too!
AMAZING beer at good prices! Bloody loud and chaotic though.
Absolutely delicious! Tried it for the first time. The atmosphere is great, the service is splendid and the food is just perfect! Will be coming back!
Try something new and unusual dish. The rattlesnake with rabbit! Taste good, doesn't taste anything like snake or anything. Great place to hangout. Better go early before night or it's gonna be crowded. Best combination with beer.
One of my favorite locations for German food. the staff was very sociable and kind.
Looking for some amazing beer on tap, that come in their own branded glasses to provide the best flavour possible? Looking to chow down on some incredible and exotic brat? Want to do it all in a casual but hip space, complete with low More
Love it! I love the Apple sage vegan sausage. Yes! Really!
Absolutely lives up to the hype. Fantastic variety of sausages that are all amazing! Their fries are some of the best I ve ever had and their dipping sauces are killer as well. Can t go wrong with anything on the menu.
Incredible chipotle vegetarian dog. So flavorful. The beer is just a plus!
The sauce will refine you but the beer and brats will define you. Sitting on the stool will help you contemplate that tasty bun and brat.
This is a pretty unique place. The sausages are amazing (try one of the more exotic options, like rabbit and rattlesnake) and the french fries were great. Beer selection also pretty good.
I really love eating, and this restaurant was able to satisfy me with my cravings. The foods here are really delicate, and hats off to this chef who masterfully does it. The experience was delightful, and I will certainly recommend this restaurant to anyone I know. Thank you so much! You guys must keep this up!
So many varieties of sausages and they're delicious (try the rattlesnake and rabbit.. I know, I know.. but it's good). Order in the front and walk straight back to where it opens up into an awesome open area where they have a bunch of beers on tap. Service was also fantastic!
The food and the beer are quite good. The company thus far, has been great.
Wurstkuche is absolutely delicious, despite only having one completely non-pork meat option (chicken and apple), which is what I ordered. It was delicious, albeit a bit sweet. However, the true highlight of the menu (for a non-pork eater like me) is the belgian fries. Mouthwateringly delicious and served with your pick of a multitude of side sauces.
Lines are long and parking is a pain of course, but once you're in and you've secured your spot on the cafeteria - style bench, you'll be there eating and talking all night long.
My preferred location for tasty german food. Service is always nice even when they have a full house. The staff was very welcoming and observant. Prices are decent for the quality. Food is like a place in Baltimore I loved.
The line can be intimidating but it breezed through quickly especially when you are able to get your drinks while on queue. The sausages and fries were worth it. Will come back whenever I m LA to sample the rest of their menu!
Nice to chill. A lot of choices for beer. Mostly young working adults.
Great craft beer excellent service links to die for Loving it
Great atmosphere, friendly staff. Great selection of beer and great food menu.
Always great food, service, and beer. We took some wurst to go - who knew it would be so cheap to take home and grill it up?
Get the kolsch wheel - it's a lot of fun to share!
Always a fun place with a group of friends. Can't go wrong with great sausage and beer!
german food at this place - very good. great location to chill, eat some good food. there was quick, helpful, and friendly service. prices that won't break you.
It's definitely a trendy hipster place. The fancy hotdogs are good and reasonably priced, but not a place that, as I was told, "you HAVE to eat at. "
Nice little gem hidden in the world.
Large selection of beers and special made hotdogs.
Would definitely recommend to others.
Good place to kick back and have a beer! if you're gonna come here on weekends, come early, or do not come with huge group because seats are not easy to find. I have ate the food multiple times gotten different types of sausages, its pretty good, i'm just not a big hot dog fan. My favorite thing here is the Fries! Its crispy, fresh, and good to soak up the alcohol after you have had a few beers. They also have a pretty big beer selection as well. Usually come here after work sit outside and enjoy a beer and watch everything go around me in the arts district.
The hotdogs were insanely good. Beers were righteous
The rabbit and snake sausage tasted average to me, nothing exotic or special about it. I tried all the toppings and various mustards and still average. More of a hipster hangout for drinking and sitting at big tables together.
Not a bad place probabley only do once for the experience food was pretty good had the duck with bacon and jalapeno peppers 8.50 and fries can run 4.50-6.00 depending if you order small or large for beer I ordered a Chimay Blue Reserve 330ml 11.00 atmosphere is a little dark when you go to seat which is self seating
A bit pricey, but lots of exotic meats to choose from and a wide selection of mustards to pair with.
An awesome take on beer and a hotdog. Amazing unique sausages, some of the best beers in the world. As interesting as the other ones are, my favorite was the bratwurst.
love this place. great food.very friendly staff. awesome beer. nice mix of customers. they welcome all. very inclusive to everyone.
The food is great but the line took over forty minutes and the dinning room is so loud you cannot hear your friends. Also, the only have a couple of middling wines.
This place gets better every year. Good beer, good sausages and amazing fries.
Great beer selection and diverse sausages. I like it.
The sausages here are amazing! I had the lamb last time I was here, but definitely will be trying some of the other sausages sometime soon. The line can be a little long, but it's definitely worth it.
Wonderful late night joint to get a feed for our first time visit of the States.
It s very comfortable and the food was superb and not to mention the staff were friendly and very professional. If you are looking to get away for a quality evening this would be a great place to start.
Nice spread of unique sausages - I feel like I expected the rattlesnake one to taste a bit more unique, but it was still quite tasty!
I always get the rattlesnake, but this time i had the philipino sausage. Wish the bread was more soft, but in general everything was good.
Would surely recommend trying this place. Great atmosphere, delightful food, good service. Fantastic work.
Place really hits the spot for some German beer and a huge variety of sausages. It s tough lines on weekend peak times, but worth the wait!
Wurstkuche is the best place in LA for a casual lunch. That's a big statement. But Wurstkuche is worth it.
Over the last couple years, I have been to Wurstkuche at least 7 times, and the quality level has remained top notch. Every time I go, the food and the experience is excellent. Not all sausages are created equal, but there's a baseline of greatness that every item I've had maintains. My top 3 so far are as follows: 1. Bratwurst, 2. Duck & Bacon, 3. Lousiana Hot Link.
The Bratwurst is one of the cheaper options, but don't let that fool you--it's the best thing on the menu (other than the fries). It is consistently perfectly juicy, perfectly seasoned and every bite explodes with flavor. With all Wurstkuche sausages, the buns are nicely textured and have a great, flat symmetrical grill mark on each side.
The Duck & Bacon is my most recent discovery, and while it's one of the pricier options, it's well worth a try. It trends a little more savory (like bacon), so it's complimented nicely with onions and sweet peppers. The Lousiana Hot Link satisfies your spicy needs, and is a great third option for me.
The fries, however, are out of this world. They are thick cut, but perfectly crispy. They are deliciously seasoned on their own, but Wurstkuche takes it a step further and offers a slew of delicious dipping sauces for your fries. Every time I've gone, the chipotle aioli has been a favorite, as well as the pesto mayo. Almost every dipping sauce on the menu is a knockout, though.
For the quality, Wurstkuche remains the best casual, reasonably-priced lunch in the city. I've been there twice in the last month alone, and I cannot wait to go back.
Great and flavorful food, I like the vibes the place has, and the staff members were very friendly. I will definitely visit here when I m around.
The spicy Italian and the fries were also very good. And I
The sausages are so good, the selection fantastic, fries are amazing. Highly recommend.
good! i went here last summer, and am planning on coming again. the sausage selection is big, with both vegan and meat options. i got the kielbasa with all the toppings, and it was very good. the size and amount of food you get, is decent for the price.
the location is a bit down the road from central little tokyo, and when you get inside, it is a bit like a maze. there is a long hallway that you pass to get to the main seating area, and it is designed quite geometrically. a nice, different aesthetic as compared to the surrounding buildings.
Each time I go here I have a great time! feels like being back in Europe again. Food is great, beer is also great! I suggest to grab a seat outside, each time we end up getting to engage the neighbor tables in fun conversations!
The outdoor seating is nice and spacious, food and beer still taste great. Reminds me of better times.
Fantastic sausage! I had no idea there were so many kinds.
Who doesn't love a good hot-dog? ohh, are you afraid of pork or something like that, no worries, just get a RATTLESNAKE AND RABBIT DOG! The sweet filipino dog was also intense in flavor and will definitely be what's going down next time I go.
This place was awesome if you're looking for good sausage's. A little hard too find parking but if you do this place is definitely worth it. Great food great beverages and great service all round. What's more to ask?
Wurstkuche serves exotic, regular go-to, and vegetarian-friendly sausages. They have a wonderful menu of delicious beer on tap. And their Belgian fries are the best! The dipping sauces that come with are just icing on the cake.
Wurstkuche is also my fave place for late night quality eats.
Situated in downtown LA's Art District, parking may be a problem but if you're determined, you'll definitely find something within walking distance. Just make sure you're with a friend if it's really late.
Great place for polish sausge and other meats. You can get rabbit all they way up to alligator meat.
