Trendy, casual hipster spot to grub on thick steak fries with your choice of dipping sauce and everything from exotic to your standard type of delicious grilled sausages with even more sauce provided at the tables. Large beer selection to wash it all down. You can order your beer at the front or in the back at the bar. Seating is limited and the line to order your food can be long. Parking is a pain or you can pay $12-$20 to park at one of the lots. Great place to go for lunch, dinner or post club/bar late night eats.

long wait in line to order. About 10 mins. Another 10 for hot dog and fries to come out. Lots of seating. Delicious lamb sausage and bun. Fries come in huge portion for "small" but they're not amazing Belgian street fries like i was hoping. They are limp like they've been microwaved. Overpriced. Located near "tent city" in skid row.
Edit: dessert is worth it!

CA tradition for dogs for decades. Gotta come here. Best dog on west Coast !!!!! Bite into it and it snaps. Pure CA goodness. During a long standing tradition of hot dogs in CA. Come if you want a good dog. I recommend. !!!

Rattle snake and rabbit is a combination I never would've expected but I'll be damned if it wasn't delicious. The staff is great and they've got some good beer too. No complaints other than the line gets kinda long.

Good vibe. Longish lines, order beforehand if you're in a hurry. I got a simple bratwurst with sweet pickles and sauerkraut. It was good quality but a little bland even with the sauces, probably better for people who can't have a lot of salt. Fries are BOMB, and very greasy and salty Available beer is great. Come here for the beer and vibes. I'm definitely coming back to try other food choices.

It was my second visit. I sell a lot of unusual meat. Snakes, rabbits and so on. The taste is not bad, but personally it feels a little more expensive than the taste. The beer is delicious. I think I ate it when I first came. I can not remember it.

The food was amazing and it was new to me. I never had a rattlesnake and rabbit sausage, but it was nice to try something new. Although it had a long line, there was someone taking drink orders, which made the biggest difference. Definitely going back there to try some of their other flavors for their sausages.

The friggin truffle fries. Forget the sausage. Well, actually, don't forget the sausage it's mighty tasty. But those truffle fries will change your life.

Seating is a pain in the butt just to warn.

I wish the adventurous nature of the menu was matched by a more exciting overall experience. Don t get me wrong. Good presentation. Lively atmosphere. Drawing on the table was cool, but the best thing about this place were the fries (those More

Nice set up and concept, we came here on a Friday afternoon and the line to order was out to the street.
If you are here just for drinks you can enter by the bar door no waiting but if you want to try their brats (Hot dogs) you must be ready to wait in line.

We tried the Duck, Rattlesnake with Rabbit and the Sun-dried tomato all of which tasted really good paired with IPA s and Lagers.

We had a good time and enjoyed our food.

I've been to so many burger joints that are over-priced for a simple tasting burger and it's definitely a let down. This burger joint is the best hookup for, no doubt, the best burgers and they're definitely an affordable price! If you ever come and check them out, then you gotta try the Hangover burger! Keep up the dope work guys.

This place was packed but our party of 4 waited less than 10 minutes. If you go, try their kosher dills. The menu never stops; pages and pages of everything from beef tongue to smoked fish to bacon and eggs. The service is excellent, too, even when it's crazy busy.

Brats and sausages and beers. They have various table mustards to add. They have a bunch of variety to try including rattlesnake, pheasant, rabbit, regional styles and a few vegetarian options.

It amazes me that a place that essentially sells fancy hot dogs, a great beer selection, and zero parking can do so absolutely well... But once you taste it you realize just how much it's worth the drive.

My favorite place for german food. I love this place always quality food & service. Really nothing but enjoyable experiences here, I'll be back. Prices were fair for the quality of the food.

Amazing sausage and German & Belgium beer. I came for the rattlesnake and rabbit sausage, and stayed for the Austin blue sausage. They also have one of my favorite beers, St. Bernardus Abt 12.

An instant classic of Los Angeles, in the center of the arts district and surrounded by many great places. Itself has sausages to suit anyone, whether you're vegan, you want a classic, or if you want to try some rattlesnake. The interior is arranged in a beer hall style with many long tables along with small ones. There is aiso a small sidewalk patio for outdoor seating with a decent view of the downtown us bank building at night. They also offer an excellent selection of beers, many German, though I have found some a bit flat on occasion.

The food was amazing, however, I felt VERY unwelcomed. Upon entry, there was a host standing at the door with menus in his hand. He distributed those menus to as many people as he could, but when he saw me he just stared at me.

Thinking it was a fluke, I stood there and waited for him to finish handing them out, but he simply went forward and greeted everyone in a very gregarious way. He never once greeted me or welcomed me, and I had to ask him for a menu.

Then when I went to the front to place my order, the gentleman at the front was equally as apathetic and unwelcoming. The sad thing is, I live right around the corner from this place.

I'm pretty sure they thought I was a homeless person or a bum because I was under-dressed. However that's no excuse for their lack of hospitality toward me. Great food, horrible service.

Fun, laid back atmosphere to get some really good links with some exotic meats like rattle snake, pheasant, and rabbit. They also have all vegetarian and pork free options, and a great beer selection. Good spot for lunch with outside seating during nice days.

I'm a tourist staying at a hotel across the street from Wurstkuche. I had a rattlesnake sausage and beer, pretty good.

I found out after that the owner is evicting a next door tenant for no cause, a sign of the sickening gentrification I'm clearly seeing in this neighbourhood. I'll be here another week but no way I'm going back to that restaurant again during my stay.

Ate the chicken & apple sausage with the bell peppers and a side of fries and it was super delicious! The seating area at the time was difficult to figure out since it was busy on a Sunday night but worth it!

Good selection of sausages - too many almost. I really liked the Filipino Marharlika that I got with grilled onions and sauerkraut. The sour acidity of the sauerkraut went awesome with the sweet onions and slightly sweet sausage. I didn't need any mustard or ketchup although they have lots of bottles on the table for you to help yourself. There's a whole bunch on the benches indoors in the main hall, but I'm pretty sure you can get them if you sit outside.

We shared the fries - got the Chipotle Aioli at the suggestion of the server and it was great! It had a little kick to it yet was creamy and went great with the fries. Also got the Pesto Mayo which was delicious.

I don't really like beer but the server suggested La Chouffe after I told her I liked wheat beers that were kind of fruity and not too bitter. It was really good and I was glad it came in a smaller glass so I could eat my hot dog (and fit in dessert after) :)
