Warning.. not a german bar. Nothing about it is German except the beer. The stand in line for food but no food from bar is a really very stupid idea! Could be great if they weren't trying so hard to be trendy.

I had the rattle snake and rabbit sausage and it was really great. It gets pretty busy so expect a huge line. On the bright side they will sell you drinks while waiting in line. Seating is pretty busy so you're going to have to stand for a while but the food is great

My fiance and I saw this place on YouTube and wanted to try it out for ourselves...It's definitely worth it. The fries are amazing, the beer selections are good. Although, I wish there were more nitro on-tap cause there's only one. I still like my beer's taste. I had the Lamb dog, and my fiance had the classic bratwurst. Both grilled to perfection inside grilled buns and topped with caramelized onions and sweet peppers. It's the truth! Very well done. I ordered the rattlesnake and rabbit dog to go. So good but seriously, What is this "whole grain" sauce??

I don't know if I will ever get used to the area in which this restaurant resides. I believe that there must be some sort of local cultural enclave reflecting the love of wieners that I see in that area. as a weiner lover myself and also as a part-time vegan, it is very nice to see a restaurant that caters to all of my needs. but the real Jim within this restaurant is the Victorian lemonade which is a sour and bubbly sensation, the perfect drink for somebody like me who enjoys stimulation.

Limited menu, but very well done; after all the name should give you a clue. Extensive choice of sausages with several vegetarian options. The exotic options were intriguing, but rattlesnake is out of my taste adventure. I liked that you could see the selection in the meat case. I had the mango jalapeno (chicken and turkey) with sauerkraut and grilled onions. It was a bit sweeter than I prefer, but I topped it with the whole mustard which made it just right. The fries were very good. I usually don't dip my fries, but the sauces were just too tempting. A real treat was the selection of non-alcoholic drinks. If you are are looking for Pepsi, or conventional sodas you will be disappointed. My suggestions is expand your horizons and try any one of the selections offered. I live in the Central Valley so the 250 mile round trip only means I won't be there as often as I would like.

Good food and great beer, my wife drinks the Optimator, of which they only have the dark so I get the Bitburger, or whatever it's called. For those of us who lived in downtown in the late 80's, this is the old Clubhouse.

Fun place for night out with friends. It has first come picnic table seating inside and it's really loud, so not the best place for a large group if you plan on conversing with everyone. The food is excellent and plenty of beer choices. They don't have their own parking, so expect to pay to park or drive around looking for a free space on the street (evenings and weekends).

Seeing this place on the Worth it series on YouTube made me want to come here and honestly it did not disappoint, the beer is great I'm not a beer guy but the beer here was really good, the hotdogs are just phenomenal just diffrent variations of hotdogs that you wouldn't find in your standard hotdogs stand, and just the flavor of them are just amazing, the snap from the hot dog everytime you bite into it just a simple satisfaction, just amazing overall, your missing out if you never been here.

I have visited this Wurstkuche location since they opened. The food is always awesome, the fries I'm pretty sure are sprinkled with crack and the always have a wide variety of delicious house made sausages. Service and the vibes are good too! Give them a try!

Good place to take someone from out of town, it's different. I've been here three times in the last four years(I live 1.5hrs away), consistantly a great place to grab a beer and awesome doggy, cheers!

This is a great spot to get some delicious bratwursts and beers. They have a large variety of options and they are all really tasty! We also got the French fries with curry ketchup, really like the variety of dips you can choose from for that too. You order at the counter and find a seat on the back. We were here on a Sunday night and there was a live DJ there playing great music. Overall the vibe is great to get good food and drinks with friends!

This place was absolutely amazing. The biggest surprise were the frites and the Chipotle aioli dipping sauce. They are in the top 10 fries I have ever had. Sandwich wise we had the mango chicken sausage, and the classic bratwurst. Both were among the best I had as well. I think my favorite part was the array of mustards they have on the tables from whole grain to honey mustard we enjoyed them all. We will definitely be back soon!

It was more about the atmosphere to me. Lots of seating and a lots of friendly staff make this place easy and convenient. The food is good but nothing crazy flavor wize. I had the duck and my gf had the rabbit. Tbh there wasn't a big flavor difference. Nice to try though.

Beer and sausage selection is great. Had the brockwurst and really enjoyed it. Would like to try the more exotic meats in the future like rattlesnake, rabbit, or pheasant. Also nice ambience and friendly staff.

This is probably the most stereotypical German restaurant I've ever been to, and I loved it! The food was fantastic, and the beer selection is phenomenal. A little pricey, but sausages and fries that good, I didn't mind. Really long lines to get inside, but well worth it!
