They took my allergies very seriously and it made me feel really good about eating there. The food was amazing. Mmm fries and curry ketchup. Thanks to everyone working there.

Best Sausages in LA and very good beer!
There s also Exotic meat like Rabbit and Rattlesnake sausages!!
It's a cool looking spot and the food is not bad. Lots of cool options.
Food Options: 4.5 star
Environment: 4 star

I rounded down because have had polish kielbasa from many different places (often less inexpensive than this location) and the flavor was just ok.
Excellent food, very welcoming staff, always awesome atmosphere. They charge fair prices and the food quality is good. Great work.
This place has legit bratwurst dogs made with your choice of sausage, toppings, and drinks. They also offer beer while you wait in line, because night time is when is more crowded. All the workers there are pretty awesome, and quick to get your order, or whatever questions you got on the sausages. Also there's vegan options. Bomb fries. Love this place!
A very attentive wait staff with impeccable service
This place has a good variety of sausages to choose from. Which are the best. I love their vegetarian option. They also have a great taste in beer.
The best hotdogs ever!!!! Highly recommended, nice music from a DJ, interesting neighbourhood and very, very, very goooood hotdogs and fries.
Great sausages.
Great beer.
Great sauces.
The best sausages are the Mediterranean lamb in the 1 spot then Pheasant then everything else...
The Italian sun dries tomato with mozzarella is basically sun dried tomato.
Rattle snake is in the top 5.
All that mustard with No pretzels though. Womp womp.
Lines are long so give yourself time.
If you looking for a good european beer this your place but definitely don't eat their hot dogs specialy the vegetarian ones unless you have a iron strong stomach. Also if you like clean restroom, don't try theirs.
german food and the atmosphere here is excellent. i love visiting here. the service was very helpful and observant. feels similar to a restaurant in philadelphia that i enjoyed visiting.
What can I say about a place that has consistently been serving delicious gourmet sausages & freshly made fries & the best German & Belgian beer selection too! Add grilled peppers & sauerkraut. :)
The environment is great thanks to the DJ playing retro music.
Crowded but fun and tasty. Rattlesnake sausage anyone?
The food selection is huge with a good beer with DJ's there, what more can you ask for?
Awesome place, make sure to go at the right time to avoid lines.
Didn t like the vibe. Didn t feel welcomed. The staff was nice tho. They only serve beer I believe...
Delicious sausages and beer, very good range. Staff are friendly, venue is beautiful.
Had the duck, jalapeno and bacon sausage. It was good but not amazing. My beer was tiny. Fries are excellent. We lucked out since the line was super short when we got there.
This is the type of place I'll go if someone else suggests it but it's not a place I would ever recommend. The interior is esthetically pleasing but not comfortable. I do like the self serve water stations. If I can get a seat on the patio during the day, it's a great place to people watch. Still a fair amount of sketchy folks knocking about the area at night though. Parking can also be challenge so Uber or Lyft if you can.
This place has some real good and unique sausages. The fries are delicious. They do have a good assortment of beers. The environment inside is pretty chill and enjoyable.
I love their duck & fig sausage!!!! I had no idea what toppings to choose so I just went with the recommended mango chutney, mustard, and peppers. It was perfect! A lot of people order raw sausages to take home! I can't wait to go back!
Amazing food. Great vibes and killer beer. Always a good time.
The food here is tasty with really unique types of flavors. Yet I cannot recommend you take any of your friends or loved ones here due to how rude and terrible the customer service is here. If you want to be treated as nothing more than a wallet instead of a customer only then can I recommend you come here. I'd suggest you try somewhere else if you want to have a good experience. Don't believe that the closing time is 2am, because the security guard will come and yell at you when it's 1am.
Easily the best brat of my life, and the prices are great. There's not much free parking around, so expect to pay in a nearby lot (~$15).
So goooooood! The Louisiana is the best if you like spicy!!
Good German sausage on a bun with a side of fries. Great craft beer selection on tap.
Food is amazing and pairs well with their next level beers. Great atmosphere.
A lot of folks will ask, "how do I say it"?
Don't ask that. Just eat the food, c'mon!
I'll be back
Outstanding. Eat and/or drink whatever. Its all great!
Best next thing to being in Germany! Parking is hard to find but well worth the effort.
My favorite spot in the Arts District!!! Do be ready to wait in line on a weekend lunch and dinner time. My favorite here is the Rattlesnake and Rabit sausage! Of you prefer tamer food they have basic selections also. But the exotics are so good! Now let's talk about German fries. Personally they are my favorite. I love my fries crispy!!!
The rattlesnake and rabbit was the best. The pheasant was good but the spices overpowered the meat. Good German beer selection.
Just OK. Though my friends told me sometimes they have a Dj and it gets terrific
Their Rattlesnake&Rabbit sausage was awesome! Good beer selection as well. Be prepared for a long line, it's a popular spot.
Buffalo sausage w cherries & mint, big dark German beer. Need I say more?
Sat at the bar. Nice, chatty bartenders excited about the beer list. Lots of friendly banter, samples, and informational tidbits on the beers and beyond. Can t eat at the bar but that was alright with me today.
Had a great experience there with someone special and the food was great so was the D j I want to eat there again
I'm not big on German food, so I was a bit hesitant when I tried this. However, I got recommended this restaurant by someone at a hockey game who used to work at a German deli, so I figured he must know what he's talking about.
The food here is great! I have no complaints. Coming from someone who hates German food, you have to give this place a try. They have such unique flavors that it's worth it. The service was good and the interior was clean.
But the sausages! Dear god I still have dreams of them!
This was one of our picks of food off the strip that we wanted to try. I am very happy did come here. The staff was very nice helping pick from the menu, they even were ok with making a plan dog for my very picky 4 year old. With in our famy we tried a few different items. The dogs and corn hit the spot, I wish we had one one back home in Seattle.
Hidden getaway, quiet and small private ambiance when not crowded. Great hot dogs with interesting toppings and great selection of German beer.
i love the food here
and great selection of beers
awesome crazy sausage combinations
Does everything it sets out to do extremely well. Damn good sausage and damn good beer
Amazing ambiance! Nice little entrance with a surprise intimate seating at the back. The hotdogs were amazing!
Best German sausage I've ever had, the mustards were of high-quality and beer was on point.
I hardly ever give anything top review but this place deserves the 5 stars. if you have some cash to spare good place to overpay for food is here. 7 dollars for a hotdog? not bad if you are into trying new things. you can try rattlesnake, rabbit, crocodile, etc. come on by!
Try it!
Great place for food and drinks. Also love the fact that you can color while waiting on your food. I'll definitely be back.
Very spacious eating area and the food was so good! Got the Mexican Chipotle veggie sausage with sweet peppers. FIYAH!
Always a good place to eat. Vegan options and good music as well as beer selections.
Great bratwurst, knowledgeable staff and nice assortment of soda, beer... fun place to sit family style at long tables.
Unique sausages, very cool space. The french fries with truffle oil and dipping sauces are to die for.
Rattlesnake and rabbit meat sausage is better than I thought and delicious
The beer was also delicious.
When you order the food and go inside, you will see the table space. When you sit at the bar, you can talk to the bartender, and you can also have a sampler and a beer.
If you haven't had yourself a Stein, try it here. It's all for aesthetics, of course. If you don't get yourself a weiner from here then you better have gotten one from the hotdog people selling them right outside.
Food taste great, friendly and patient employees great beers. Ask for double meat
Quality of food has gone down from the last few times I have gone there.
Place was good, hip and delectable eating. Down to come here and try different dogs!
The absolute best salmon belly sandwich EVER!!!! This place is so amazing, the staff the ambiance the kitchen, the garden, the music playlist on the patio was 90's R&B Everything was so on point for me. I went back the next week and was not disappointed at ALL! Food to me is like sun to the beach so I know what I am talking about people. The flavors and textures and spices are impeccably matched with every bite. I would give them a 20 star but I am way out of time and I have to finish eating my delicious food.....ADIOS AMIGOS!!
Awesome. I love coming here when I get the chance. The sausages are my favorite along with a great selection on beer. Always a good time.
This place is all about beer and sausage. There's tons of drafts to choose from that aren't ridiculously priced. And every sausage I've tried has been good. Also there isn't a huge difference between a large and small fry.... Just get a small
Authentic Gernan sausage restaurant with great German beer selection as well. Portions are generous and not overly pricey for the area. Outdoor patio and low lighting, ambient indoor seating. Their fries are amazing. Very cool little spot.
Went here brought my brother, dad and grandfather. The reason for the visit was to get beer stains. Obviously they carded me and my brother because we look young. But they decided to card my father who is 52 and you can see the grey hairs and also they wanted a ID for my grandfather who is 81 years old. They didnt want to give my grandfather a beer because he looked underage? What's wrong with the staff!!!
This place is amazing. The line is kinda long, but they bring you beer while you wait.
I got a hot italian and wanted more even after I was full.
I totally enjoyed this diner, the food is fantastic, and the bathrooms were tidy. It was a little chilly indoors, so that was not the most enjoyable. The waiter is great also. I will most definitely consider going back again if I have the opportunity. Me and also my good friend ordered the sandwiches and also we were not let down. My one pointer is to keep the cold exterior. Cheers!
It might just be my imagination but I think the quality of the food has gone down since they first opened, but it's still good... but not worth waiting in a long line, in my opinion. Great selection of Belgian and German beers. Belgian style fries are always awesome. And the ice cream sandwiches they keep at the bar are amazing! Since I live in the neighborhood, more often then not I just order online. You can skip the long line and just pick up your food at the bar and take it home!
Almost always a long line, but they're very efficient and the flow is such that you can typically find *some* seating still available. And the food itself is fairly priced and absolutely delicious. Including the handful of (limited but delicious) vegetarian options!!
Great Bavarian feel with a diverse menu of sausages from Vegas to Rattle snake. Great selection of draft beers.
One of my favorite spots in The Arts District. Great food, great German and Belgian beer selections and great service. A must try if in the Los Angeles area.
This place is pretty awesome. I had the Austin Blues with caramelized onions and spicy peppers. Too bad I was visiting LA For a short time, but I'd go back again and again. Don't forget to try their curry catch-up.
