Love this place. It seems to be a family owned restaurant and all the dishes I've had have been delicious. They take their time to prepare and cook the food which makes me think the food is fresh. Also they have the best Agua de Horchata I've ever had!

Good sausage - tender, juicy and good snap. You order the sausage with a couple dressings, and then there's various mustards at the tables.
They bring the fresh cooked items to your table when it's ready.
Lots of variety of sodas in addition to beer. Fentimans herbal ginger beer (non-alc) is yummy.

Horribly hipster, the wait is horrible 30 min wait to order, the roll was cold.... the sausage was bland and the fries over seasoned, the music was lazy and unoriginal, the fries were salty but crunchy. The place itself is ok looking.... overall horribly ok

Really amazing selection of draft Belgium and German beers. The hot dogs are pretty amazing and it's really cool that they have vegetarian and pork free options. when you enter to order your hotdogs can also get a beer while you wait in line then in the seating area they have paper over the tables that you can draw and write on with crayons as well as a full bar in a little dj station. Overall I like the atmosphere of the place, I'm definitely going to be taking my friends back here for a few more drinks and dogs really soon.

Definitely not the best hot dogs I've had and slightly overpriced. Not worth the 30+ minute wait on the weekends. But what it stands for in the arts district community and their dedication to consistently deliver good hot dogs, fries, and beer makes this a special place to go to and support their business. Very friendly staff to help you out with the many hotdog options they offer.

I have to admit it--I was really hungry last week so I ordered 6 sausages, 2 fries, and a beer for myself. I feel bad for my friends who had the misfortune of accompanying me to dinner, they must have been starving all night! So how did More

Amazing bratwurst. The fries are excellent and the dipping souses are even better. Big assortment of drinks and sausages. Very sleek, modern design for the restaurant. I love drawing on the tables with the crayons. Great service. It is pretty expensive but I think that it s worth it.

Was looking for good casual places to take my parents to eat when they came to visit me and this place was perfect! They have a fun variety of sausages to choose from with a decent selection of toppings and sauces to put on your brat! The fries are also really good and plenty of dipping sauces to choose from.

It s an arts district staple that has a good selection of sausages, mustards, other sauces, great fries and beers/drinks. They have a good atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. They have a mixture of community and single tables for sitting options. The location is great and right in the middle of the arts district. The parking can be hard depending on the time you arrive. Also there can be a line depending on the time also.

The beer selection is fantastic some great German beers and brandy but unfortunately I feel that the sausages that they have are overpriced not that great. If I'm paying close to $10 for a hotdog it better be a damn good hotdog. For me for the price I can get a better meal at Red Lion. Come for the beer but don't stay for the food

Delicious variety of sausages in a cool beer hall.

The sausages here are amazing! They have classic varieties as well exotic ones (rabbit, snake, etc...). Beer is great and there are plenty to choose from on tap. Don't be deterred from the long line outside. It goes by pretty quickly.

A very nice hot dog / gastropub restaurant complete with some unique foods.

Here are some must orders if it is your first time here:

1) rattlesnake rabbit sausage - don't let the exotic name turn you away...its actually super duper delicious! plus, not everyone can say that they have had rattlesnake rabbit sausage. Definitely try, you will not be disappointed.

2) duck bacon sausage - a good alternative, not as good as the rattlesnake, but still very savory and tasty

3) Belgian fries in white truffle oil - do I need to say more? your tastebuds will dance in delight!

4) Elderflower soda or Peach soda - top if off with one of these babies and you're good to go!

Ah... What can I say about this big doored, dimly lit mess of a place where the beer taste great the people are weird and one of my best birthday memories to date. If you're looking to get messed up then look no further since they have really big glasses you can put a deposit on. A+

OH MY GOD! The YouTube video was intriguing for suggesting this mid-price place. Absolutely no regrets. A vegetarian spic dog and pairing it with Mr. Cucumber was mind blowing. The warm space, with cafeteria style tables you can draw on makes for a cozy environment. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

The interior was a bit strange, didn't like it. I ate sausages - weren't bad at all, it was interesting for me to try something typically German. However I don't think I will repeat the experience.

I'm not a connoisseur of sausages but if you are anywhere near the Arts District, and you're in the mood for a delicious sausage, then check this place out. Where else are you going to see rattlesnake, gator, and buffalo sausages on the same menu? My son, a friend, and I happened to arrive on a weekday mid-afternoon, so parking wasn't horrendous. The ambiance is great. We ate on the patio outside. My Rabbit and Rattlesnake sausage was really good. The drinks are a little over-priced.

A nice late night munchies.

It's ultra hipster, always full, has low light and dj playing and the sandwich is very good.

Lots of sausage options, and like almost everywhere in California, it is super easy to find a wide variety of vegetarian options. The french fries are also very good, with several options of sauces, it is worth looking through the room what is available, because everything is not always in the same place.

It also has a large selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages.

Taste different from what I remember few years ago but it still good. Feels like the sides they put on the dog is became less and the bread tasted different. But overall beer is good and sausage is not bad too.

Really enjoyed my experience here! We waited in line a bit, but the staff made the line go fast. The employees were very helpful explaining the menu and beer list. We even got our drinks while we were still waiting in line.

The way the restaurant works is you order at the front and take your number to any table. I tried the Hot Italian (kitschy names, right), but I feel like you can't go wrong with any choice really. The atmosphere of the place really just add to the whole experience. It's a great place to go out with friends or a casual date night out. I'll definitely go back again!

It was my first time seeing strawberry beer on their menu. I'm in love. Please keep that on the menu forever.
I also got the duck and jalapeno and a large order of fries. This place has the best fries and I like pairing mine with their curry ketchup.

You are in for an adventure. From classic (hot Italian) to exotic (Rattlesnake) sausages, this place offers some of the most boldest flavors in town. The beverages are just as bold; especially the beer selection. And to top off that adventure, you can nestle in the back with music, and an exquisite atmosphere.

Pretty decent place. Duck and bacon sausage was bomb. The rattlesnake and jalapeno one was meh. The mango jalapeno one is dank too. The veal sausage I think it was bosk or something wasn't my cup of tea. Good selection of beer though and they give a different glass depending on what you order so that's cool.

his is seriously the BEST fried chicken sandwich I've ever had. Definitely lives up to the hype!!

I usually get the mild chicken sando and it's good enough for me because the medium is a little too spicy for me. The sandwich is pretty huge for $12 and I can usually only finish half. Their fries are pretty good too and I still get them even though I usually hate crinkle cut fries! I LOVE their comeback sauce!!! It goes so well with everything.

Service is also AMAZING as well. They are all so so SO nice despite having long lines every day so major props to you guys!! I really like how they have line updates on IG & twitter and the fact that they extended their hours bc the lines are definitely a lot shorter now in the afternoon ....
