Delicious "hotdogs" but very expensive. Rattlesnake rabbit one was really good

This place has great vibe and the interior of the restaurant resembles an actual beer hall in Germany. However, I wasn't sure if it deserves the hype it gets. Their menus, especially the exotic ones, definitely sounded interesting, but they all kind of ended up tasting very similar. Also the belgian fries came with a nice set of sauce including ones like their chipotle aioli sauce, but they were too salty despite being thick cuts.

This German-inspired restaurant is truly amazing. Their foods are combined with all my favorites like burgers and sandwiches with fries combined with different types of veggies. It's like being healthy without getting away from your favorites. The place is so cool and nice in a very cozy atmosphere that all the customers will surely love and consider when they wanted to eat in a restaurant.

Awesome exotic sausage, although a bit salty for my tasty. Service is fast and quick, you can sit inside and chill and drink some craft beers!

Interesting food selection and an impeccable beer collection.

Sausages were delicious, and I don't know where else you can find such exotic selection. Rattlesnake? Wut?

Seriously, gotta try something new - check it out. The food is great, and it's not crazy expensive. Give it a shot.

This is a trendy place but after trying it out a couple times I'm just not impressed. I've had better brats elsewhere.

The Hungarian Heat was very juicy!! Loved the flavour and the ambiance of the restaurant. Very warm and soft lighting.

This place is really cool man Too bad it's not in a more open place. I say this because, the way it's hidden on the block. Also, the way it's set up in the front, then walking inside, towards the hallway inside the big room, makes it seem like a lounge type atmosphere. Not bad at all! Just saying, a great place like this, I wish it wasn't so hidden. Then again, where it's located, actually makes sense. What I'm saying, does this make sense? LOL You just have to see it for yourself and decide. LOL

Let me just tell you though. When my husband and I walked in one late night, we really thought that it was a very small space, with limited seating. We both wanted to try their sausages with all the goodies, so we still ordered.

As soon as we got our order, we were taken in the hallway, to a bigger room, that had a bar, and dim lighting. Very nice! Very unexpected as I was saying too! LOL.



I regret that I forgot our waitresses name, but she was amazing. Very nice woman. She was the one that was leading people through the hallway to the bigger room after getting their food each time. That's a lot of walking! Good for her! Very helpful.

Again, just like a lounge/club, they had a security guard in the bigger room. There was also one in the front of the restaurant & back exit. Wow..

I am amazed by this place, and can't wait to stop by again, when I'm in the Los Angeles area. Too bad I am from the Bay Area. Wish it was closer! Can you please open one here in the Bay Area? You'll make lots of money in San Francisco! LOL Thank you for a great time. See you again !!

Arrived here at 1:15am. Ordered before 1:30am, but they chose to hang onto everyone's food until 5 minutes before close, at which point it was brought in a to go bag and we were forced out of the business... Horrible service.

You can choose various sausages. Depending on the price, there are three types, classic / gourmet / exotic, and it's about $ 7, $ 8, or $ 8.5. I ate hot and regular hot dogs with sausage made of snake + rabbit meat, but the snake sausage (?) Tasted better and better. But it doesn't end up being crazy. Is your expectations high? Also, I asked you to try the French fries, which were cut into pieces in a Belgian style, so I didn't eat them. For enjoying beer and hot dogs.

Seems to be the happenin' hipster / LA Boheme weiner bar. Awesome selection of dogs, brauts and sausages.

Chill, casual place (except maybe Friday-Saturday peak hours where they have a dj and blast music so you'd better be good at lip reading) for great belgian/ german brews, the odd english cider and maybe a bite to eat. Do not skip out on their fries!!! Double fried so it's crisp on the outside while retaining a pillowy soft interior and served piping hot with your choice of sauce. My pork-loving self tends to go for their bacon blue cheese (tastes nothing like blue cheese but the bacon bits make up for it) but their chipotle sauce or even their honey mustard are two other great options. Aside from beer, "exotic sausage", and fries from heaven, they also serve a selection of wines and cocktails. Haven't tried the latter two but it's a nice option for guests who aren't into beer. Prost!

If you live in LA you've been to Wurstkuche a million times, and it's always good. It's crowded, lines are long, and the menu is somewhat limited. But damn it's good.

Some people like the beers and the fries, but the hot dogs are what count. They're consistently great, no matter which one you get or what topping you put on it.

As a bonus, the atmosphere is boistrous and fun without being rowdy or obnoxious.

Overpriced hipster hotdogs, nothing to do with german style sausages.

This placw was awesome before and during covid still is. They go beyond to make sure everyone is safe. And the customer service is the best I have had in a long time during Covid. The beer selection is what brought me to this place. It has a great variety and decent pricing. Thw hot dogs are good but im sorry nothing hits better than a street hot dog haha plain and simple. The fries are the bomb! Over food, drink and environment is A pluss

Wow this place is awesome! I had been here several years ago and I remember it being good, but I recently came back and my experience was great. You pretty much walk in and order your food and afterwards you can walk to the back where they have some cool seating, atmosphere is pretty fun and also has a bar vibe. They have various types of sausages, as well as beers. I really enjoyed the chicken apple sausage and their fries! This is unique and you really can't find it elsewhere. They have different sauces to dip the fries and it's just bomb! It really adds good flavors to fries and it's the perfect touch.

It's strictly sausage, fries and beer. Simple but great. They have an assortment of sausages including three veggie options. Great beer selections. A few wine options.

A hipster place with hipster prices.

I was hungry and wanted something different. I was with my artist friend (not an aspiring artist, mind you, girlfriend gets paid) and decided to go to the Arts District.

I think my heart flipped when I saw they had Duchesse on tap, among others, but Duchesse!

I ordered the snake and rabbit sausage and put peppers on it. It was a really light flavor, nothing special. I just had yet to cross snake off my list of animals that aren't safe from my plate.

We shared the fries, which were good, that came with two sauces. She picked pesto, I picked the blue cheese. I was unimpressed by the blue cheese sauce. I think it should have been stronger.

Would I go back? Sure, if the line wasn't long like it was when we were leaving. We only waited about 5-10 minutes. I'm a fan, but it's not half-hour-wait good.

Great franks and beer. You won't get your usual Franks here,you find exotic animal Franks such as rattle snake rabbit. Along side dozens of beer options that are all great. Great seating indoor and out,one can even color on most of the tables.

An authentic and unique experience of german food with worldwide beers. Great DJ and music. A way too different of having a simple hot dog. One of the best places near District of Arts.

Delicious sausages and a great selection of beers. What's not to like?

It's a cool spot. The hot dogs and beer are good and they have a lot to choose from.

The negatives: The beers are expensive, some come in tiny glasses, and you have to shout to have a conversation most of the time because they play loud music.

The food is ok, the ordering would probably be easy but as a vegan the cashier didn't really know what was what, and honestly got aggressive about it. So bad service and ok food leads me to the conclusion that it has no wow factor.

They have a wide choice of beer but I didn't drink. Maybe I should've.

I really like this place. They have a great variety of sausages to choose from, which includes everything from your traditional varieties (bratwurst, hot links, etc) to more exotic types like rabbit or even rattlesnake. The toppings are standard sausage condiment pairings, and the dining area has at least 8 or 9 different mustards to choose from. Plenty of beverage offerings as well, including an extensive beer list. Inside has a clean, modern yet very cozy feel. They have individual tables as well as communal bench table seating. Outside is the arts district which is still a little rough around the edges, but definitely becoming nicer. There is no dedicated parking lot, but street parking has never been an issue for me the handful of times I've been here. Overall, I highly recommend, as prices and quality are both good, plus it's a different fare than the usual that you tend to find around LA. Also the hand soap in the bathroom smells pretty good.

First time trying and I would definitely recommend coming to try. I love the way they handle everything, making sure people have adequate space 6 feet apart, hand sanitizer, cleanliness. They have a wide variety of interesting sausages.

Fries were actually really good a Belgium style. The Cury Ketchup was amazing!!!

I almost want a softer bread or sauce like you would get with an Italian beef sauce on the side to break down the bread.

Flavor could be stronger on the dogs, but I might have just had a simple dog.

Good food and beer. A little too loud at times and if you go during the rush, be prepared to wait in a long line. Other than that it's a nice place to eat once in a while specially with friends.

The bratwurst are delicious and the beer is ice cold and crisp fresh off the tap it's kinda pricey but we'll worth the money ...all I can say is an amazing place to grub n drink....

Very well organised and convenient restaurant. They provide generous meals and for affordable prices. I liked the menu a lot and the waiters were super affable and explanatory. Will definitely recommend this place.

The hipster is strong in this place, but it's also legitimately good. Excellent beer selection, quite a variety of sausage, but you'd better like sausage.
