Nice zoo with good shows and ability to be close to the animals.
Our family just visited the zoo. It's wonderful- lots of shade and wide walking paths. You can get very close to the animals. Our grandson loved feeding the ducks and giraffe.
So much animals your going to need all day. Very friendly staff.
I felt like I needed more than a day here. A beautiful space and perfect for families.
Not enough attraction it's not worth the entry fee! Although there are some interesting species.
Huge. Best to start with safari animals and end in aquarium where cooler. Pack snacks for kids. Nice experience.
Lots of great animals! Really loved the baby giraffe, so cute!!
Excellent place of distraction for all ages .. recommended
The best place to experience wildlife. It covers vast land and collection of animals and also aquarium. It's a perfect place to take kids. As a reminder when you go there make sure you wear dust proof shoes b/c every walk ways are dusty
They have everything the name implies. Be prepared to walk... A lot.
So fun! Lot's of animals to see!
Very much enjoyed it.
Able to see a lot of beautiful animals. Fun times for whole family
Nice place and there is lots to see BUT it's expensive. You can find discount tickets online or in the local newspapers. They also charge for the rides scattered though out the Zoo/Aquarium. Other then that, it's a nice place to spend the afternoon.
Thoroughly impressed with this place and their care of animals and the amount of fun animals to look at and other enjoyable rides and experiences. While it s a bit pricey, it s an all day and more fun with the family.
Start of the zoo was very disappointing animals are small and in dirty cages. The second part of the zoo is new, and very beautiful and it is still being built for the second part of the zoo I give 4 stars.
Had so much fun with my husband and 5 year old. We only had time to visit the aquarium but my daughter had a really good time seeing all the fishes. Excited for our next visit.
Grandkids love this place and felt much safer around panther with new barriers
Just like the name Wildlife World Zoo is a great place plus aquariums.
Be able to do a lot of walking though
Awesome! Obviously really hot in July. Aquarium, sea lion feeding and log ride was just the things to see and do. Highly recommend!!
We had a great time there is alot of animals to see! My daughter loved it as well!
Lots to see , the zoo spends a good cut of the money to the animals actually , some rides like Zipline or a log ride, has an aquarium and reptile house , you can feed the animals from some feeding stations , and is a great way to spend the day
Variety of animals was great!! Easy walking, good paths. Price of entry is our only complaint.
Very difficult to view caged animals
Overgrown shrubs cover most of cages. Birds galore!!!!!! Areas for flamingos is overcrowded and needs more water.
Shows are available but benchs are split and difficult to sit
Majority of tables and benches are cover ed with bird Poop. Definitely not worth price of admission.
Rained first thing in the morning, but as soon as it cleared up all the animals were out..very surprised by number of animals at this zoo, seems everytime we turned around we were seeing more animals..clean, nice zoo to check out if in the area
Great zoo, had a lot of fun and saw a lot cool things. Food and beverages were WAY over priced.
This zoo is 100 times better than the Phoenix zoo. You can actually interact with the animals. I've been coming to this one since I was a kid and I never get tired of it.
Such a cool place! First off, it s absolutely massive. I had no idea how big this place was by looking at the map, but to walk around the entire thing truly was a 5.5 mile walk.
I ve never seen to many different animals in one place, I m still trying to take-in everything we saw. It s very cool that you can feed the giraffes too!
At first the price seems a bit much, but once you see how big this place is and how many animals are there, it becomes totally worth it. I would say you can honesty spend a good 5-6 hours here taking your time and seeing everything.
We will definitely go back!
I don't have the words to explain how amazing this place is
It was my first time there. You would think that the animals would be sleep but I had a chance to see them all.
Always an awesome day at that particular zoo! U can see the animals up close instead of a football field away! The aquarium is spectacular because of the variety of fish that they have and u could touch a few of the little creatures that are on display, if u like.
A little expensive but a great place to visit. It took most of the day to walk it. Even got to feed the giraffes.
Beautiful place. Loved the animals and their habitats. Great exhibits and lots of feeding of animals.
I went to this zoo today with visiting relatives and my heart broke for many of the small and aquatic creatures who had no room to move and stark, unrealistic environments. The arctic fox was especially tragic as it paced frantically with its tongue hanging as he panted! He kept trying to dig through the glass window with obvious desperation. The only happy animals were the ones outside with real grass!
Great place and the aquarium is great but it's very expensive! You really need to check for coupons before taking the family.
Not worth the money at all!!! Many areas closed for maintenance on a Saturday!
We had a wonderful time. It was so nice to go to a zoo and actually see the animals out. Defiantly worth the trip there.
While the layout and location of exhibits is very good, I was appalled at the unhealthy condition of EVERY parrot in EVERY exhibit. The overall health of a parrot can be determined by their feathers. EVERY parrot at this zoo has faded, torn and weathered feathers. And the vast majority have severely plucked bodies. Even with the species not known for feather plucking, these parrots are in the poorest of shape. They need to re-evaluate the dry desert conditions they force south American species to live in. It's a terrible shame - Animal Welfare should be involved in the assessment of ALL animals in this zoo's custody. There are definite shortcomings in the care these animals receive. They should spend more resources on animal care than construction of more outdoor exhibits.
I love this zoo even though it is like 97% birds because this zoo makes me happy and helps me learn more in a way.
Interactive and fun, had nice rides that all ages can enjoy. Would be nice if it were a little bigger, but that is what the Phoenix Zoo is for, right?
HAD A BLAST WITH MY FAMILY I LOVE THE BABY JAGUARS AND BABY MONKEYS!!
Was pretty hot today. Alot of the animals were sleeping in the shade. Can't blame them at all ! Still had fun overall. Lots of new areas to explore. Place has really grown. Will definitely be back in the Fall when it's much cooler.
It was a great day. Enjoyed the aquarium and Safari.
Great time at the zoo. It is an expensive day. Use valuepak for 5 dollars off. Additional things like train log flume and other rides add up quick so be prepared to say no. Snack bars are a better value than eating at Dillons. But Dillons us great and has a view if shark tank. May consider annual pass for next visit, it may be a better deal if you see your family making multiple trips.
This is an awesome family trip and it isn't really a zoo.. it's more like a safari park and everyone should have an opportunity to see it
Fun little zoo to take kids to. You can also feed giraffes which is fun. The restaurant there is great as well!
Overall great place to bring your family for an all day experience.
Amazing! So much to see and do here. Easily worth the cost of admission.
Clean, friendly, animals are well taken care off. Friendly and helpful staff.
This place is huge! I suggest going early in the day and walking around the outdoor section while it's cool out. That way by the time the heat gets to you, you're already heading inside. They also had a few rides which are great for kids, and shows which are great for the whole family! Pro tip: if you buy a soda, save the cup. They give free ice refills.
Lots of walking but it's worth it, there's a aqaurum too, many rides that are fun but it's a seprate fee to pay, would go there again.
Food is always great, staff is always friendly and fast considering how busy they always are. The kids love seeing the sharks, Ray's, and fish tanks and on the other side the Albino Alligator and the flamingos.
Great place for family ,friends and specially kids.
Love this place! So many animals and well cared for. Always have fun here.
Loved this place, spent all day and didn't see everything
WE LOVE THIS ZOO! I have been going here for over 30 years! I love that I can now take my kids and see all the improvements and expansions over time. I definitely have noticed that the cages are cleaner then ever and the animals seem super happy. We are even considering getting year passes for the family. (it is just SO expensive, but you can see the money is totally going back to the Zoo and worth it!)
I have gone to many zoos in my life. This is my favorite. Up close and personal with the animals.
This zoo has always been a favorite of mine, but it s been a while since I ve gone. I went back yesterday at 9:00 to see new additions. Because it s summer I didn t expect all animals to be out, but that s not what happened.
1. This is not the zoos fault, but the heat was unbearable, so be careful!
2. What the zoo could do better: Add misters and shaded areas besides cafes. Even just tent shades would help. I loved the addition of the safari area, but both my partner I seriously thought we were getting heat stroke. There was very little places for us to get some shade out there, no misting systems, etc.. We are healthy young adults, who stayed very hydrated, so I can t imagine how elderly people could handle that. We got so overwhelmed by the direct sun that we high tailed it to the aquarium to just sit and look at the penguins. We felt so sick that we couldn t even walk through the other aquariums. We decided to go home.
3: They have a couple islands at the zoo, where I saw monkeys by themselves, staring at the freeway. Very little shade for them as well. They looked miserable. From my understanding, monkeys are social creatures.
4. In the petting zoo, the turkey looked like it was dying, it was panting SO hard and it s eyes couldn t open.
5. Animals with thick fur with little shade like the black bears looked to unhappy. Sure they have a small pool, but it s out in the screaming sun.
I think the priority should be animal health, so if it s too hot let them be in a cool place. I just went to a sanctuary that makes very little money and they had small shelters for every animal which were each air conditioned, so I don t understand how this fairly expensive zoo can t do better to give their animals some way to stay cool.
I used to love this place so much, but something felt very off. I had a membership and went back to see if I should get another one, but the animals just looked miserable. I used to feel this zoos priority was the animals, but that s not the feeling I got this time.
I left feeling sad for the half the animals.
Animals look in poor condition, the aquarium is great. We just left and seen a Macaw which looked in very poor condition and we seen armadillos but they were shaking as if they were cold. Also, the exhibits for big cats were small and the leopard had no water hole to lay by unlike other big cats.
In a way I hate to share this beautiful place with a lot of people but it would also be nice for families to experience the aquarium and also the outside zoo and don't forget the restaurant and bar
Fantastic zoo! I liked it better than the Phoenix zoo. You can get really close up to the animals and even feed the giraffes!
The first 10 min we were at the park was already a better experience than at "another zoo".. Happy to become members and support a fantastic facility.
Nice features, but a bit pricey, especially for large groups.
Very fun, but for the price you pay at the door they over charge you on the food, drinks, and rides. Very pricey. Staff is super friendly.
This is my favorite zoo, I highly recommend, the variety of animals is awesome, and all the interactions that the Phoenix zoo makes you pay extra for this zoo includes them! Feed the giraffes some kibble only 50 cents for the pellets, and pet the stingrays included! Go in the cage with lori parrots and feed them included. You could also feed a sea lion, but that is a 5$ charge for 2 fish. But this zoo is worth the trip if you live far away.
Bigger and better than I expected. A person could easily spend 4 or more hours seeing all WWZ has to offer. Many, many animal exhibits, birds, reptiles, lots is fish and all the big exotic African animals. Highly recommended for all ages.
Let me see, haven't been here since 2005 or so, but absolutely loved it! This time I was with my grandson who is 6 yrs old, and his two ma'mas. I will have to say, I was sore after all the walking but, it was worth every step. To see his eyes, he would make sound like the animals, he loves animal's. So Thank you, from the Kazy RaeZ!
A bit pricey but worth it. Bring quarters to feed ducks & giraffes .
