Out of the two Zoo's in the Phoenix metro area, this one is my favorite.

The zoo itself is quite large and has a huge amount of exhibits. The animals appear to be content and well taken care of- no signs of stress and plenty of room in their enclosures.

Aside from a large variety of animals exhibits they have an aquarium, numerous indoor buildings which house everything from small mammals to reptiles and baby animals born in captivity.

The zoo offers a number of activities including a sky ride, boat ride, train and several amusement rides-- even a log ride!

The zoo itself may not be over the top fancy (mainly dirt paths and simple wooden benches throughout the park) but it certainly makes up for this with its large number of animals and attractions.

Well worth the 80 bucks entry fee for 2 adults and 1 kid deal through Groupon. We spent a complete 3 hours here and could have done more had it not been closing, but that is our fault not theirs. The knock for -1 star is because you are walking though gravel / sand most of the time so your tennis shoes are gonna get nasty if not ruined.

I honestly thought this place would be so much better givin the price they charge to get in, first we attempted to ride the water ride when you walk into the zoo , my two year old was compared to the height of baby in diapers that was getting off the ride the young lady said if she is the same hieght as him she can ride mind you there s was no height difference whatsoever! And the baby was in diapers!! Let me just say there is no race but the human race!! That s how we felt ! My children enjoyed what they were able to. the bathrooms there were disgusting and I couldn t believe how their customer engagement was throughout this zoo. There was one lady there who walked with us in the kangaroo display that actually made us feel somewhat comfortable in the beginning but towards the end the employees where just noticeably irritated if thier jobs there. They charge so much just to close exhibits before the zoo closes??? As we walked towards the safari park an employee says this section is closed wait what??? We still have 20 minutes. As we where at the giraffe display we noticed we can feed them and had no quarters, we asked and employee sitting there and asked her if she had quarters and if she was able to change a dollar, she says Sorry Im closed I closed five minutes ago seriously how hard is it to change 1$. So after that a young lady ( not an employee) offers me 50 cents of her own to give to us for my kids to feed the animals. Kinda sad when a non employee has better customer service than actual staff members.. the Phoenix zoo is way better it s clean and the employees are friendly. I think this zoo is only worried about money ! As they gathered the giraffes I couldn t help but noticed the giraffes are put into this tiny shed!!! These poor beautiful creatures how can they fit in that tiny space. I asked to speak to a manager at the end of my visit to share my feed back and all she did was make excuses for every single thing. She needs some better training sorry to say and as much as people pay hire better staff memeber who love what they do and not there for a paycheck .

Super fun experience. Well cared for animal population. Great safari environment. Additional fees for rides and animal feeding time participation makes this enjoyment an expensive family outing. Good land and Ariel park rides/train/tram and scenic Ariel chairs...additional costs $6.00 pp each ride.

ALL CASH PAYMENTS. NO DEBIT OR CREDIT CARD'S. ATM machines throughout park for cash access.

Limited fast food/soda/coffee options. Clean hospitality and bathrooms throughout park....vg experience.

The zoo is amazing! I came here as a kid many times decades ago and they have kept adding amazing new trails and attractions. It's so big you need to wear walking shoes. The information boards were great, really appreciate the amou.t, tone, and map. Fantastic aquarium, shows, and petting zoo has deer and other animals from other continents, not just typical American farm stock.

The zoo and aquarium are both 5 stars, the ride prices earn 1 star. Considering it's privately owned, this zoo is amazing. The aquarium is massive, with lots of different zones, hosting an enormous variety of sea creatures. The penguin feeding is always fun. I love that the owner themed all of the rooms and tanks to add to the ambiance. The rides are fun, but outrageously priced. I wish they sold arm bands for daily enjoyment of the rides. As a family of 6, spending upwards of $6 pet ride adds up quickly. I'll give this zoo 5 stars, hands down if the owner addresses his rides and lowers the prices.

This is not worth what you are paying. It is a bit of a drive and there is not a whole lot of animals to enjoy. One of my favorite is there aquarium side, they have a manta ray/ sting ray pool where you can touch them and feed them if you would like to pay the 3 dollars. It's a very beautiful spot. They also have a touching pool for star fish and the gal that works there is fabulous and very knowledgeable!

Exhibits on far western edge of park are always flooded and disgusting. I feel bad for the non native animals that are forced to live in a swamp. Last I checked the American Bison doesn t live in a swamp. Take care of the animals. This is shameful

Fantastic zoo and growing every year. They have nice wide paths that are even. The exhibit buildings all have wide doors and everything is easy to access in an electric skooter.

Everything is very well maintained. There are huge trees and shrubs and beautiful flowering bushes everywhere.

The animals look and act happy and are really well cared for. There are keepers and employees in easy 'reach' if you have questions.

The restrooms are beautiful and clean but could use some more TLC during the day and more attention throughout the afternoon. By the end of the day they're not very pleasant.

The zoo had some wonderful encounters where people got to feed the lorikeetes, an an animal encounter where the trainers brought different ones out to tell about them, and a sea lion show.

The aquarium is so nice and has several buildings with different themes in each one. They are so pretty and each aquarium is really clean. They have places where people can touch various marine animals or feed them.

It takes all day to see both the zoo and the aquarium. I'm really glad that the aquarium stays open a while after the zoo is closed.

We go to the zoo first and then the aquarium so we can see both but it is getting so big and nice that it's almost a 2 day event now.

We really love the Wildlife World Zoo and go every year.

Nice place for kids to see the different wildlife, from different parts of the world. My personal favorites the aquarium, WOW!,. The stingrays we're awesome!!! Loved the babies. Ghost, cinnamon and the little boy, can't remember his name, special and very unique.
Great rides, the log ride is great for kids!!!.
I would go back, and recommend to anyone with children.

I normally hate zoos, I think they are cruel to the animals as they generally speaking pen them up and strip them from their natural environment. In some aspects, this is the same type of thing, however I felt like the exhibits were better and for the large animals especially very spacious. The experience is great, the facilities are not the best, but are far from the worst I have seen and the staff is awesome, knowledgeable and fun.

Take a minute to feed the giraffes and say hi to the parrots (many are rescues from homes that could no longer keep them). That is another aspect which made me feel very good, they take in animals kept as pets in cases where they should not have been pets.

Take a day (seriously, you cannot see it all in half a day) and pay a visit. You won't be disappointed.

Had a great time at the zoo! Found the rides to be expensive.. but did not come to the zoo for rides. Loved the variety of animals and enjoyed the unique animal experiences the zoo had to offer (feeding giraffes). Spacious and well organized exhibits.

LOVE Wildlife World Zoo! Very fun and up close views of the animals! I Mickey Olsson has turned his love of animals into an incredible educational place for the whole family! We have watched his dream grow each year! Highly recommend going. Oh and the food at Dillon's is outstanding!!

We take my 5 year old son here often. It's a perfect zoo for kids and adults both. The aquariums are a great option for hot days and the zoo is almost too big for a single visit. We have the year passes which are well worth the expense because, again, we come here all the time. Highly recommended place to visit. Everybody is friendly and helpful and the exhibits are well put together for viewing the animals.

Haven't been here in 20 years and brought my kids for the first time.Still love it.Maybe all the snack stations could offer the same food, though? One only had hot dogs, popcorn, etc while other had a larger menu, but a longer line. But we had so much fun!!

We've been here many times over the years and we still enjoy coming back. It can be pricey so we get the coupons on the containers of Hickman's eggs. We also had a membership for a while which is totally worth the money. You can bring in your own water and snacks for the kids which is a huge plus.

I really enjoyed everything about the place. The only thing I wish would change is that they don't have enough places to get water. I tried to go to the little food stands they have but they closed them early. Otherwise, very clean and good service. To anyone that wants to go I recommend to bring shoes you don't mind getting dirty because there's a lot of dirt every where except for the aquariums. Also make sure you go early because the place is HUGE and you'll spend like 2-3 hours walking around.

Very disappointed. We arrived at the zoo at 4:30 only to see all the animals being locked away for the night and the zoo keepers were asking people to leave by 5:30 and they themselves left by 5:45. If they post times from 9-6 then it should be open until 6. Especially when they still charge you the full rates....

This Zoo is HUGE. They have an Amazing Giraffe feeding station!!! 50 cents to feed them as many times as you want. Very up close exhibits with unique animals. Also has rides and navy flights training nearby ( very cool) Loved it, but bring comfy shoes. Well worth every cent :)

Great to visit even during covid. People social distance outside, masks are required for all indoor places (aquarium, small animals exhibit, insects exhibit, etc), but outdoors everyone is separate and no masks is ok. The shows still happen, but parties are separated from each other by 6 ft and masks are mandatory (during the sea lion show, for example). Most of the food places are closed with only a few open throughout the park. Dillons is doing great though, and I highly recommend eating in the shark tank dining room. Bring your own hand sanitizer for the zoo part.

So disappointed with the whole experience. The admission prices are way to high for what you get. They have rides around the park. But you have to pay extra for each ride. Most were $6.00 per person even for the little ones, and the rides lasted about 30 90 seconds or one trip around the coaster or log ride. They had lots of animals but I felt so sorry for the black panther who could do nothing but pace back and forth, and the monkeys on a little I mean little island surrounded by water. Our kids liked the animals but could not understand why they couldn't ride all the rides. It was just a real letdown. Yes we had $5.00 off per person on admission but that didn't do alot to take the hit our wallets took, and we could not even eat at the park. The rides should be included in admission sorry that just rubbed me the wrong way.

I've been twice, once before they opened the new aquarium and once after. They've expanded it quite a bit, but it is still not that impressive imo. If you like birds you may like it. There are like hundreds of them.

We had a great time at the zoo today. We rented those character scooters. Quote of the day they are totally worth it. One hour rental turned into 3 hours and we got to see the whole zoo without killing our backs.

My biggest gripe with this place is the cost; the admission is pretty high and they try to squeeze even more by charging extra for the little rides like the chairlift and the train. We figured we'd probably not ever go again so we dished out some cash for some of the extras. for example, the little train ride is $5 per person; I estimate it is barely a 2 minute ride but they draw it out to about 10 minutes by going slowly so the riders can see the birds or the deer. Other zoos that I've been to include things like the train ride with admission. The other gripe I have is that their philosophy appears to be quantity over quality; they have hundreds of different birds or deer-like mammals. They cram as many animals as possible by putting them in little rectangular cages. Most of the animals , even the bigger ones appeared to have poor quality habitats. Another gripe is that all the walkways are dirt, there are no paved walkways or grassy areas.

We had a great time at this zoo. We were deciding between here and another large zoo in Phoenix. Glad we came to the Wildlife World Zoo as we could get up close to many of the animals. It was an expensive day, but the experience was worth it.

Fantastic variety of animals and marine life. Well laid out and great view of wildlife in general. Make sure you have cash for the rides though. The only slight concern was a snake exhibit that had no glass covering.

great
