This is not a review of the store, its a review of Charter itself. After months of internet dropping several times a day, we switched to Fios. Charter sent us our refund with a "gift card". However, you have to activate the card and they make it so complicated I gave up. Which is exactly what they want. Never going back no matter what.
I come from being manager of my own store so i understand understaffing, but add on a combination of terrible customer service. I waited 30+ minutes just to return a router and was not made aware i needed to return the modem as well (my fault) but the women was extremely rude about the situation. Never would recommend this location
9 people waiting before me. 1 girl working the counter. The other just walking around looking at people. The lady behind the counter was very polite and friendly. When I left 14 people were waiting. 30 minutes to just return the cable box.
I'm currently at this location and there are people standing every where because there is only 4 seats total. You have to wait 20 minutes to pay your bill.. Return your equipment. People drive here to wait. This should be a quick in and out thing. Why are they so slow.. Only three employees taking people. There are six desks though. Maybe they should hire more employees. Long freaking waits. The guys do their jobs but the one girl with long nails is always on her phone when talking to customers. Very unprofessional and rude.

Extremely long wait. Very inefficient. Had to lock doors to not allow more people in when there got more than 50 people in line...
People working there were friendly but the wait was ridiculously long. I just needed to return my cable equipment, which took 30 seconds once I got my turn, but it took me 45 minutes of waiting to get there. Maybe an improved system of how they handle customers with different objectives would be nice.

Worse customer service experience. They only had 2 people to handle 30 customers and by the time I got my turn it was 2.5 hour I stood in line. Terrible management. Unfortunately I don't get any services in my area other than spectrum but wouldn't recommend this to anyone..
This star isn t for this location it s for Spectrum over all. Slowest speed ever, and their app doesn t even work when you try to pay your bill online. Straight trash.

Paying almost $60 for 15mbps when the 60mbps costs $65 (including maintenance fees) makes no sense whatsoever.
Internet frequently loses connection. Somedays I have to reset my modem and router numerous times. Not worth the 70 dollars a month I pay.
I went down there 3 times & spent an hour each time there to find out im NOT eligible for an upgrade but over the phone they told me I am eligible..i even check the creditors & they said no freeze has been on my account & there nothing that spectrum can do about it. The service is good but there customer service is garb. I told them ill just go somewhere else for a new phone & they don't even care. I asked for there boss to help doesnt even email me back. Unprofessional & I don't recommend anyone staying with this company if they are having trouble as well.

This is the worst internet service provider I have ever had. They are consistently ranked at the bottom of all major ISPs in the USA.
They regularly increase the price for internet access (I have only internet, no TV or phone). This happens every few months, slowly enough that customers will not notice.
The price hikes would be barely tolerable, but they don't even have basic business ethics, let alone
common humans decency to inform me of this. When I asked about? customer service representative about their rogue billing practices, they said it was because of "service improvements". That is absolutely false.
Internet has been down and up all day, ruining every single one of my zoom calls. I have been unable to work properly today.
I had gone to this site to return my cable box. The windows were so dark that I thought they moved out! It was very frustrating to have to go back another day! The help was ok.

You get what you ask for with this local franchise Monopoly. They will tailor your need for cable, and internet. Be prepared to spend an hour to complete your request.

Scam of a cable company, service sucks, prices high and will call you 2 years later about a collection bill for not returned equipment that was returned and forced to pay. Stay as far away as possible.

Lack of communication between local office and national office
Very friendly and helpful staff at this location. Service was fast, even during the lunch hour, and I was able to quickly complete my transaction and get on with my day.
I was on hold for hours. I have a job and I can't just wait endlessly, wish there was a callback option.
Internet was slow, expensive. If they didn't have a monopoly in my area I would have dumped them a long time ago.
I eventually moved and now I'm trying to drop off the equipment. Currently writing this while in line. It takes literally 2 minutes. But instead of just dropping it off and going I have to stand here, indoors, during a global health pandemic, risking my immuno-compromised family members to return this router.
To say I am upset is an understatement.
We were assisted by setting up service on our apartment, and couldn't have had a easier experience. We were helped by the worker named Stephanie, and couldn't have asked for a more polite and friendly associate. I would highly reccomend your company solely on how positive of an experience I had due to your employee's.

I rate Spectrum as 3 stars because the cable company over-charges and takes advantage of those who want internet and t.v. cable services.
Then, of course, there are hidden fees in your monthly bills.
As a matter of fact, all of the cable and dish companies are guilty of the same thing.
That's why so many people are cutting off cable and switching to streaming.

Everytime I go there it is packed with. It enough employees to help and I have never seen such rude employees in my life and wile they are being rude and disrespectful the manager/ supervisor just stands there and does not even say a FN word!!! Unbelievable!!!
Place sucks there's only 2 people working and 6 people waiting it's way easier to pay your bill at a convience store that pays bills or any where else for that matter charter charges so much for there service but can't afford to pay more then 2 people to work here?

I've been a customer for almost 10 years and have excellent bill pay history yet that can't offer any break or promo rates for 6 months to help out through this pandemic! Customer service was good but the wait was FOREVER. We bought 2 phones and got some extra cable channels for the next 6 months. 3 stars only because of the wait.
One of the greatest household finance decisions I ever made was to cancel Charter Spectrum. $250 a month for boxes, fees, taxes and service. That s $3k a year with a large chunk going towards mandatory equipment rental. I went with an antenna, Netflix, Hulu and DirecTV Now (streaming), I kept Charter s $65 internet package and am still saving about $1,500 a year. The best part - tv watching has never been better. We can now watch whatever we want, whenever we want. Streaming and antenna combo puts cable to shame. The cable industry has been ripping off customers for decades and needs to go away and they will as more people switch to free antennas and right-priced streaming with better content based on consumer preferences. With 5G coming next year Charter Spectrum will feel the pain as prices are right sized and we are not forced to buy internet from this monopoly (the only choose for Internet in my town).

I took a temporary job working from home on the computer. Since it started on February16 my internet has gone out 3 times and cost me close to $500 and counting. I am changing my service to anyone else that is in the area tomorrow.
Place was packed around 11am. I was #15 in line and I was there almost an hour.
Services are down at least 4-5 times a week consistently, and when they are active, the promised speed is never delivered in full. Even replaced their garbage router with an ASUS, so it is most definitely Spectrum at fault.
Literally a monopoly in my area as there is no FIOS to compete (would switch instantly given the opportunity). I could not be more dissatisfied with the lack of service, and they know they are the only option, because their reps act like it. I can't wait until fiber optics are available so we can dump this failure of a provider.
TL;DR If you can avoid spectrum, absolutely do so, they do not deserve your hard-earned money.

This Charter Spectrum Cable Communications location is a below average place of service. The long lines here can be attributed to a combination of slow customers and service provision. From the customer end, people inconsiderately talk on the phone while being helped, despite the long lines. The staff are very kind and friendly, but don't move with the upmost efficiency as they ask customers about upgrading their services, when that isn't the purpose of their visit, for example. The store would benefit greatly from tactics to speed up service, such as entering the purpose for a visit at the check-in computer at the front entrance.
Not happy that when I ask what I could do to lower my bill that told me I was already at the lowest possible program, we then looked hard at my account and found we could lower buy changing equipment out and getting rid DVD player I do use,
TELEPHONE PROMPTS ARE USELESS, FADE OUT, DON'T UNDERSTAND ANYTHING YOU SAY. VERY FRUSTRATING WHEN YOU CAN'T EVEN HEAR WHAT THEY WANT YOU TO SAY!

Just needed to do a simple equipment return. I waited over 45 minutes to hand in my modem. They had 6 desks set up for service, and only two employees helping people. Unbelievable. Avoid going to this or any service center if possible.
Really good customer service but there isn't enough seat. They need to build a biggest waiting area.
