Ymca Camp Of Maine Review

Our children, now ages 21 and 16, have attended YMCA Camp of Maine for 8 years. The camp has provided a fabulous place for friendship and development, and our daughter and son have enjoyed all aspects of this hidden gem. It is a little bit of a drive to get to Winthrop from the Boston area, but it has been worth it, every year. The team at the YMCA has been run so well over the years.

As YMCA Camp of Maine is turning 100 years old this year, I hope that they have another great 100 years in front of them!

I have the fondest memories of spending summers here as a kid. The camp is absolutely beautiful. There is always a wide diversity of campers. Such an amazing organization.

Well is a great camp with great things, but it's really clique like there because it's groups of kids who already know each other even if it's there first time there, so there is not a lot of opportunities to make friends at Y-camp. And make sure to CHECK FOR LICE before you go

Terrible work, terrible Linda. A real monster. I do not recommend. For this I recommend traveling around the States

I have been going to this camp for 2 years. Each time I go I love it even more. The counselors are amazing, and nice. Each time I go I always remember me waiting to go back. Hoping to see the counselor there again. Even though I haven't I still make the best of it. The activities are fun and they always seem to find someone who knows what there talking about. I always form a really strong bond with the counselors, which makes it even harder to leave. I love this place so much. My school does it as an overnight field trip. Sadly i'm to the point where next year we won't have this field trip, so i'm so sad that I can't do all the activities again. I'm still trying to go there for the summer though, because this is the best camp ever.

This camp is amazing I still go here every year because it so a nice place to be and the lake is beautiful and every is nice there is just a nice place to be

Love this camp, second generation attending for second year!!

My husband and I travelled to the Ymca camp for a wedding. The lake was beautiful but the camp was dirty and a big disappointment. The bathrooms were very dirty and our shower curtains had mold on them. Disgusting place to shower.

I've been going Y-Camp the last 4 years and hoping to make it 4 more. It's not for everyone, but it's defiantly for the kids who want to take it back to nature.

Someone I know had a wedding there. Really pretty clean place and amazing staff.

I loved this camp as when i was a kid i remember when it was the asthma camp. I went for many years. This one the camps that i nust miss the staff is great and you always have fun. When i have kids and if this place was still going my kid will be going here.
