Love the Showcase windows. We have been using these windows for 30 years. There are a lot factories we can choose to use. With Showcase being in Houston, Texas means we don't have to go out of state simplifies everything. We have been dealing direct with showcase for so long and are Very happy with the variety of products and service we get. This is great for our customers. I look forward to many years of doing buisness with them.

( This matter has been resolved. The manager bill reached out to me . Bill explain the misunderstanding and refund the over charge . I appreciate them fixing this problem. I'm changing my rating to a 4 star from a 1 star because he took the time to fix this matter. My 4 star is due to my windows being late, windows being wrong and the time frame to fix one window. Plus the headache of this matter. ) his has been a horrible experience buying windows from this company . My windows were a week past due. When the windows showed up 2 of them were wrong. They ended up not billing me for 2 months . Once the bill came through they over charged me 600+ dollars. Dorothy told my installer she'd refund the money but now she won't return any of are calls. It's best to avoid this company ! I will be contacting the better business bureau today.
First off I have to say the windows I have from them I have no complaints. They are clear, and they open. Not much else to say.
I've heard of taking your business online, but these guys take it to the next level. Twice I've called for two separate issues (service and parts) and both times I was told that the issue couldn't be handled over the phone, I needed to send them an email instead.
I have a patio door that the handles keep breaking, I need replacement handles. I called for the parts and was told I had to send an email to their sales department. This was done. Later I figured I'd call back and just have someone come out and have a look to make sure the door was installed correctly. Same thing, to request service, I must send an email.
Sales 101, when the customer wants to spend money take it from them! One in the hand is always better than two in the bush, unless they don't want to deal with me and that is their polite way of brushing me off. Emails have been sent, we will see.
Update: Guess what, I got a call today to setup service. The first thing the nice lady asked was all the information that was already on the online form! :) And to think of all the time she could've saved by just taking the information when we were on the phone the first time. Their system is broken.
UPDATE: A tech came out to fix the doors. Showcase replaced the door handles for free. However, when it was time to finish up the tech said I owed him over $300 "For his time and materials since he is a subcontractor." Cash or check only. None of this was explained upfront and seemed dodgy so I called Showcase. They were nice enough to release the tech without the $300.
Honestly speaking, I guess I'm happy with the doors, they open/close, keep the elements out, and look nice. The problem is the company process is broken all over. Very odd, inefficient, and unclear procedures.
I had a shattered lower window sash at my house. I called Showcase, and they promptly scheduled a replacement sash for a few weeks out. Their serviceman arrived on time on the date scheduled, was very nice, and because of the clever design of their windows, he removed the shattered sash and installed the new sash, all in less than 30 min. Y all get 10 stars!!!
What I can say about Showcase Windows; YOU MAY WANT TO RECONSIDER!
When my initial order of windows arrived, we discovered that the fixed sash on several single hung windows were NOT SQUARE. Not sure how they can manufacture windows out of square, but they did.
The vinyl corner welds, (45's) on the window assemblies were broke and the aluminum lock bracket were not centered in the window causing the sash lock to not seat properly.
As you can see, the quality control is/was extremely poor or non-existent.
The only positive thing that I can say about Showcase is they did agree to replace the windows.
When the replacement windows arrived they all had the same vinyl weld problems, they were broke. There were also pieces missing that cover the window track. Luckily my contractor was able to scavenge the original windows for parts and pieces to get the job done.
Again, extremely poor or non-existent quality control.
As I sit here writing this review I can see stickers all over the windows, ranging from manufacturing batch numbers, window ratings, regions of the country the window is suited for, sizes, etc. But there is one sticker that I cannot find anywhere on the windows, PASSED QUALITY CONTROL .
Showcase s lack of quality control has cost me and my family time and money.
My advice to anyone considering Showcase Windows is, RECONSIDER, THERE ARE OTHER CHOICES!
I had a very good experience with the Service Department at Showcase Windows. Ashley Miller went out of her way to help me replace a discontinued 200 series window that they did not have in stock. Ashley was polite and professional and stuck with me till the end, you don't see that a lot these days!
I have owned these windows for 10 years now and the operate the same as when brand new. Only issue is the insulator bead coming apart between the glass. No air leaks yet though. Am building another home and will probably use these windows again.
We have been exceptionally pleased with the service dept at Showcase in Houston, especially Maribel. She was very attentive to details & exceptionally resourceful in locating & delivering our replacement parts. The office person & delivery men were also very adept at helping and being sure we received exactly what we needed... this place has amazing products & employees. Our 2008 doors & windows still look new & work quite well. We are pleased to give them a strong positive review! Thank you! Dianne
I had a really positive experience with the Showcase staff. Mirabel Mares was EXTREMELY helpful in assisting me to find weatherstripping/beading for my casement windows damaged by a big hail storm in San Antonio. The windows were built around 2006 and I could not find a model number for them. She, Russell and others there at Showcase went above and beyond to research their inventory and to discover the perfect match to replace my damaged stripping. Sent the replacements needed within hours at not cost to me.
They spent a great amount of time on this, and were cheerful throughout.
Really wonder ambassadors for your company!! If I ever need new windows, they will be Showcase based on this experience and the quality of the windows.
Customers are lied to windows are not made till last minute quality is horrible silicone isn t even cured they back order because they can t build them fast enough
Bill Lindsey is a dictator he spouts off quotes from books but has no understanding of real manufacturing or shipping processes.
If you want honest and quality stay away
The owner needs to fire Bill this man has no clue how to run a business
These folks are the best. After I was flooded during Harvey they installed a great custom oversized sliding glass patio door. Last week I lost one of the keys and tried a couple of good locksmiths but couldn t get a duplicate made. I called Showcase and they sent out a new lock set with 2 keys. No charge, no problem just fast courteous service. This is how great companies treat their customers
Had the all-house windows for 2 years now and we love it. Just had a minor warranty issue which was fully taken care of by Ashley (service) & Eddie (repair). Thank you :)
Showcase is a fantastic company to work with! Always great service and their products are top notch. Their delivery guys are amazing and very professional! #truwinwindowsanddoors #truwin
So I purchased 26 windows and 2 sliding doors for Showcase through a local vendor. The window are all shapes and sizes and the doors were 10 ft across with 5 ft slider. I have had them for 16 years. The window seals are all still good not cracking and the door are amazing. I called out to Showcase today to see if I could get replacement door handles for the sliders. After 16 years of usage at 20 times a day at least with all our pets that equates to about 116k uses. That is a good door handle. Well anyway i spoke with Ashley who was extremely inquisitive and asked the right questions and realized she had to get Eddie from service involved. Eddie told me that he was not sure they still had any but he would go search the warehouse and call me back. I could not believe that Eddie called me back but he found two door handles that were missing some parts but not the handles. I said i would buy them both and he spoke with Ashley and since they were not complete and I was a valued customer they were just going to send them to me. I am in New Orleans and whenever we get a little extra or someone takes care of us in a beneficial way we call it lagniappe. Well thanks for the Lagniappe Ashley and Eddie. Showcase your customer service department is bar none. I invited Eddie to stop by for a swim if he ever comes through New Orleans......thanks again Y'all.
please update road way of all ditches to make it more safe for deliveries and passing traffic - was here in Jan 18 and now the ditches are even bigger safety first please
Terrible experience with Showcase Windows. We HAVE made attempts to contact them to give them the opportunity to make things right. (The store manager sent two emails, and we sent one but received no response.) Our only recourse is to try to warn other customers to stay away. Our windows were installed before we noticed a problem with the windows sagging. The Showcase tech came out and admitted they were constructed incorrectly the shims had not been placed in the correct spot. Showcase did take the windows back and refunded our money, but we had to pay our framer to have them removed and the new ones (not Showcase windows) replaced. It ended up costing an extra couple thousand dollars (and held up our construction progress.) We feel that we, the customer, should not have to absorb those additional costs due to a manufacturing mistake and obvious lack of quality control on the part of Showcase. We would love to hear back from Showcase to discuss...
Windows are nice. Quinton was nice dealing with the window that was lost . The sales representative said we only deal with sales people because home owners are the problem. The problem was between the sales person and the sales representative. The two sent the wrong window a month after the windows were ordered. While the house that is being built is can not go any further and the home owner is the problem?
I m going to do my best to keep it accurate, detailed, and short.
I purchased 30 windows from Showcase through a vendor for my new house build. The end result is I believe I have some nice windows but it took a lot of time and effort. The windows I ordered were black frame for interior/exterior. From what information I gathered they use an outsourced laminate type material to apply to their windows.
The initial delivery of the windows showed up a week late and 15 of the 30 windows were damaged. For packaging they put cardboard corners on and then wrap the ends in Saran Wrap like material. They only wrap the frames twice maybe which is a sorry excuse for packaging. I don t understand how they don t go bankrupt replacing windows due to damage with this method. After I reported the damaged windows the next day it took over a week to get someone to come out to the site to inspect the windows.
Then it took approximately 4-5 more weeks to receive the second order to replace the damaged ones. I would call at the beginning and end of each week and heard several different reasons as to why it was taking longer. I did not feel like my windows were a priority which I feel like they should have been once the initial order had problems
When they said they would replace them I asked what they would do with the damaged windows and they stated they would throw them away. At that point I asked if I could keep them and they agreed. They also agreed to refund me around 11% of my purchase cost. I told them at that time that I m not happy with that amount but I thought it at least helped the situation out.
After the windows were installed one of them did not function properly. I did not receive the refund payment and they were not responding to a warranty request so I submitted a claim with the BBB. They finally sent the initial stated refund price but I m not happy with the amount they paid because all of the setbacks the windows caused cost more than what the refund was.
I felt like they manipulated wording to close the case with BBB and avoid mediation, they stated that I asked for the specific amount that they refunded me and that I demanded to keep the damaged windows.
If I could redo this situation I would go with a different company. The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 is because the windows feel like a good quality window but their terrible customer service is not worth it. (Bill Lindsey, I m talking to you.)
Have had Showcase windows in my house for almost 20 years and love them. The service tech that worked with us has been with the Company for over 15 years and has a keen knowledge of every detail of these windows. The service/sales dept was very helpful and cooperative to work - with for any concerns, questions and issues.
I am a design and construction professional. Showcase is the manufacturer rather than the independent sales rep you would purchase their product from. What they produce are exceptionally crafted windows and doors. More specifically, their products have been tailor made for the Gulf Coast region and will excel where other products fail. Their staff are knowledgeable, friendly and always willing to go the extra mile.
Terrible service. Emailed service dept. to a certain employee - 3 or 4 times to simply get an update on my order. Never rec'd an order number and bare minimum update. Employee doesn't sign her name to emails?
Long story short, it took 6 weeks to finally get 2 windows that were under warranty. GM even stated the windows were there at the shop, after service dept. stated they would be shipped to glass installer. When the installer drove 60 miles to pick them up, they couldn't find the 2nd window. Seemed so simple.
My first clue? When the new windows were installed, they never gave us window screens and try getting them after the fact didn't happen. Good quality windows but the problem starts at the top. Manager told me he "wouldn't commiserate with my problem"? What kind of customer service response is that for someone who has been waiting over a month? I told him "someone should"? How about, "I am sorry, ma'am, there has been confusion. I'll get to the bottom of it and make sure it corrected"? I should have just paid someone else for the glass although it was under warranty.
