Previously I had a maintenance plan set up with WCA and they did their best to keep my existing system alive... however its days were numbered. Since I had great luck with them for maintenance I decided to get an estimate from them for a new install. The sales person (Jay) and the install team were all very respectful, honest, and informative. I was previously aware that there are typically rebates available from the electric company for new (efficient) systems and they took care of all the filings for me. I definitely recommend them for the high quality people and products that they are using as the current system is doing very well. I signed up for another service contract with them again after the new install without reservation.

One-star may seem harsh, but this company is absolutely out to rip you off. They do quality work, of course, but they push repairs on you that you don't need and charge an outrageous amount. For example, I needed a new blower motor and had a Williams Air employee out to take a look. He tells me I need not only a blower motor, but an inducer too (not true at all). The quote comes in at $1,500+ in addition to the $288 for their service plan that I'd already (unfortunately for me) paid. He then tells me I should consider a new furnace altogether considering the price of the repair, which could be $2,500-3,500! Keep in mind my house was new in 2006.

So I instead searched around for a small local business and the guy comes out, diagnoses the problem, checks the inducer which is fine, and tells me he will come back with the part Monday (today) and fix it up. Total cost? $390.98 inclusive of EVERYTHING. $1500 or under $400 hmmm... Seriously, Williams USED TO BE a good company, but now I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.

Run far, far away from this company unless you want to pay through the nose.

Today started with Allen Partlow performing maintenance on my 25-year old Trane furnace. When he found the cracks in the heat exchanger, he called me over to so me exactly what he was talking about in language I understood. He set up an appointment for a sales rep to come and Jim came right on time. He walked us through all the possibilities and LISTENED to what we wanted. Before he left tonight, we knew exactly what is planned for tomorrow when the crew installs the new system. Based on today, I anticipate tomorrow will go as well as today.
This has turned into an expensive day but the professionals at Williams Comfort Air have made it bearable. I recommend them when you need HVAC professionals.

My experience with WCA is mixed. The original technician (Austin) I had out to diagnose the problem was great, very helpful and knowledgeable. My sales guy (Mike) was nice and helped me find a good price given my situation. However I had a couple hangups with them that prevent me from giving a 5 star review.
1.) After paying nearly $7k to have a new system put in, the techs overcharged the unit which blew a switch that prevented my unit from cooling properly and keeping up. Eventually the unit went out and wouldn't turn on at all, and I was stuck in a muggy house with an infant after just dropping 7k. Not what I expected from professionals.

2.) I was specifically told what the price would be--not an estimate, but the final price with tax and everything included. They charged me $300 more than that and I was told by the technician customer service would refund me the difference due to the mix up. That was almost three months ago, and I have yet to have it resolved. Nathan called me one time, and I've called and written back numerous times since then and I can never get a hold of him or a call back. I don't feel I should have to track you down for you to make right on your word.

I understand people make mistakes, so I can look past the original technician who installed the unit overcharging the system, and WCA came out and my new technician (Thomas) was absolutely great, he figured it out and corrected it. However telling me the price would be one thing and then ignoring my communication about it and not making it right seems shady and is more frustrating than anything. My electric bill was higher than it should have been in the few weeks the system wasn't working right due to their mistake, so really I'm out more like $400 after all is said and done.

I hope to have this matter resolved ASAP, and I will update this review if that happens.

We requested Jaron because he'd addressed an issue with the smart t-stat after a new furnace installation a year ago. He was servicing our 19 year old A/C which seemed to still be cooling fine. Unfortunately, there were some issues and he showed us and explained what was going on and what the possible solutions were to repair those issues. He also pointed out what might happen if we'd didn't repair......or even could still happen if they were repaired but because of the age other things might fail. We are getting an estimate for a new A/C, I mean 19 years was a darn good run so we expected to replace it in the next year. In these meantime, we have cooling while we decide leave it with this repair that may very well work for another season or replace it soon when convenient for us. We both felt Jarod did a great job cleaning the A/C and trusted his unput on the repair/replace information.

The technician from William Comfort Air was very informative. I appreciate his honesty in letting me know that it wouldn't be worth the investment in trying to repair a furnace that is 35 years old. It was time to lay it to rest. He suggested other methods for heating my house until I could afford to buy a furnace next year. Thanks for being honest and not try to rip me off just for the money.

Williams Comfort Air goes out of their way to hire and train the nicest and most competent technicians. Cory M called me one-half hour before he arrived and then spent most of the next two hours working on my air conditioning unit after explaining what he was going to do and answering my questions. I was thrilled when he offered a service contract for two more visits - one in the fall for the furnace and another one in spring 2022 for the air conditioner. To say that I have always been pleased with the service and attentiveness offered by Williams is an understatement. I highly recommend them to anyone who desires to have complete trust in any service they provide.

Jim was great. I had my yearly furnace check done which revealed my burner element was failing and there were high carbon monoxide levels in it. Williams sold me this unit. My choices were to replace burner unit which was the same and would probably fail again or replace my furnace for $3000!!! I will never use them again.

Last year was a tough year as my son passed away. Two weeks later my water heater began leaking ruining the kitchen floor and bedroom closet. If that wasn't bad enough, our AC stopped working at the same time. Mr. Plumber was at my house until after midnight on a Sunday night to make sure we had hot water. Oh yes, Williams was on site an repaired my AC.

It truly was a fragile time and the professionalism along with the compassion from both Mr. Plumber and Williams Comfort Air employees has created a life long client to my plumbing and HVAC needs.

Our technician Austin Inman was on time, very neat and professional. While cleaning and checking our two AC units, he did the most detailed cleaning we ve ever had. He disassembled enough of both units for a complete inspection and then thoroughly cleaned everything.
Austin answered all my questions and gave good advice for maintaining our units between services.

Technician came early on a Sunday morning and set right to work fixing the AC. In the process he uncovered an electrical problem and being resourceful, circumvented that matter. He had to come back a second time because of a worn out compressor. He did that and took care of cleaning the outdoor unit in the process. Outstanding service.

Purchased a new gas furnace and air conditioning system from Williams Comfort Air in the fall of 2013 and it has been a constant problem starting the first summer. Jeramy Doll (owners son) was the salesman and he assured me that he was over-sizing the system so there would be no cooling issues when summer came. By July of the first summer, we found out the system was not cooling the house on really hot days. Set the thermostat on 70 and the system could not get the house below 74. Had multiple technicians come out to check and adjust the system and their only answer was to increase the speed on the blower motor. The next summer, same problem so in an effort to assist, I added insulation to the attic of the house...same issue. In July and August, we have a hot house with an AC system that runs non-stop. Then comes 2018 and the very hot June and the AC system fails. It has a 10-year parts and labor warranty and I call WCA and they can t get anyone out for three days and even though there is a 10-year parts and labor warranty, it will still cost $100+ for a trip charge...but not for 3 days!! I called another company, it was a simple start-up motor capicator and got it fixed for $90. I still have a system that cannot cool the house during the hot summer months. I would NEVER recommend Williams Comfort Air to anyone.

I called for my yearly heating inspection and was able to schedule quickly on a Saturday morning. When Chris Cook (technician) arrived he greeted me with a handshake and an introduction. He was professional, knowledgeable and VERY THOROUGH. He checked every aspect of the furnace found a small problem, fixed it and now my system is running better than ever. Great Tech- Great Company.

Our experience with Williams Comfort Air has always been favorable. Today an experienced team of two men removed and replaced our primary furnace installed originally in 2005. A recent routine maintenance visit had revealed several important wear and tear concerns that needed to be addressed. We reviewed the choices of making the necessary repairs to an old furnace, or opting in favor of installing a new, more efficient furnace in spite of the significantly greater expense. All our questions were answered and options were presented and discussed very professionally, and after reviewing the pros and cons we chose the new furnace. Our team arrived a bit late due to no fault of their own ( a flat tire on their large truck that had to be replaced), and in several hours the complete installation and spotless cleanup was finished. Very clear instructions regarding operation and maintenance were provided, and we were led through a tour of the installation. Our installation team was courteous, efficient, knowledgeable and friendly and repeatedly made it clear that they wanted to be sure we were satisfied customers and happy with the quality of both the furnace we purchased and the installation process. WE ARE !! Nice job !!

He told my daughter he couldn't possibly give an estimate without knowing exactly what she wanted because they have so MANY options and deals going on. He left his card to have me call him which I did twice (no answers)and I left a message on the generic voicemail the 2nd time. Needless to say I never did get a call back or any follow up. I scheduled a furnace tune up, and they were three months out for appointments. I understand that. So I scheduled an appointment, stating that I work a lot, but someone would be at the house. A few days before I got an email and a text message confirming my appointment. That was great. The day of my appointment, while I'm at work, I get multiple phone calls. I think "great! They're on their way to my house." I text my brother to let him know. About an hour later, he texts back saying they're not there. So I advise him to call them to clarify, and they say they canceled the appointment because they require a "verbal acknowledgement". At no point in time was this communicated to me. Not when I scheduled, the email, text, or voicemail on the day of. I could have easily called to change the primary number they call. They're booked months out, so I'm going to go with another company. I'm VERY frustrated that this was not communicated on the initial call to set up the appointment, the email confirmation, the text confirmation, or the voicemail left on my number. I had this on my calendar for months, made sure someone was at the house because I had to work, and they didn't even show up. VERY DISSATISFIED.

Matt R. has always done a great job - he is professional, provides explanations of his findings, makes recommendations without pressuring me (I still haven't had my ducts cleaned, but I know he's right.), and wears booties and cleans up showing respect to my home. Have a house built in the late 50's and last year started experiencing drain issues. last year had the exterior sewer line replaced by Mr Plumber and they did and awesome job.This month i started haveing issues with the inside lines and they discovered almost a total blockage but were able to clear it and replace some of the old cast pipe system in my basement and it is so nice to hear water running through the pipes instead of slowly backing up into sinks. Mr Plumber did me right and i would recommend them to anyone.

The following are my opinions based on my experiences. We called Williams Comfort Air to replace a 14 year old basic heat pump with something more energy efficient and allergy friendly. A smooth talking sales person sold us the most efficient Carrier Infinity Heat Pump they have for over $15,000. First, I was disappointed that they only replaced the main part in the basement and the heat pump outside. I wanted a full evaluation of the homes ducts, insulation, and HVAC needs. We've found the call center does not communicate well with the people that visit your home. Second the new system did not fix our main problem of different tempatures in different rooms. We discussed zoning and insulation with them. They wanted to zone upstairs and downstairs but not the hot and cold rooms. I knew that wouldn't fix the problem. They wouldn't listen to us. They also said they can only do blown in insulation. Blown in was unlikely to help with our knee walls and vaulted ceilings. I've since food out that duct sealing can also help with some of the problems we are having. They, of course, didn't suggest of attempt to do that either. Third, the new system failed in the middle of the coldest part of its first winter. They couldn't repair it until it warmed up some. Forth, I thought that the new system included the first year of maintenance. But, buyer beware, it actually included next season service. I'm now working with other companies for insulation and annual maintenance. We've since found out that our root problem was poor insulation and we didn't really need the expensive system that they cleverly sold to us.
