The sales department and the installer were great. The installers arrived on time, explained all I needed and cleaned up. My problem is that there was no follow up with my purchase. I have had 3 service calls to the house with in a 45 days of the installation. Still no follow up calls to make sure everything is okay. In trying to get someone out was the biggest problem of all. They set up appointments, tell me that they will call 30 minutes before arrival but no phone calls and no one showed up during my 2 hour window. 2 hrs later (4 hours total waiting) I get a call saying that they had a service meeting and that all appointments were going to be late. Someone could have called. Next I referred my father to Williams and he had a new heating and air conditioning unit installed but no referral check has been set to me. The unit is working BUT the service and promises have me wondering. 11/15/18 Update... I finally got a call from Williams Comfort Air. They stated that a referral check is going to be mailed to me (that was 2 weeks ago.) Still no check. AGAIN the promise of Williams Air service is NOT there as promised. I was asked to set a service appointment for my furnace which I agreed to but they said it would be in late January? I explained that I would just use the company that I have always used, and they were able to change the date to the Friday after Thanksgiving.. I will be surprised if they show up.
Andrew Weilbrenner was most professional in his demeanor, skill set , diagnostic abilities and personal presence. From a consumer perspective, the service call deserves the highest rating.
Arrived a little early even (after phone call confirming), knowledgeable, courteous, professional.
Cleaned air conditioner and checked it out. Was competent and clean.
Chris was right on time and told me straight away that if I felt he was giving me anything less than ideal service I need to let him know and he would address it immediately. I didn't have to because he was fantastic. He worked hard and efficiently and took the time to explain everything that was going on while making sure I understood. Excellent service.

Technician Seth Gerber was on time for my service appointment. He answered all of my questions and advised me regarding air vent cleaning, dryer vent cleaning as well as gas fireplace situation. He was very friendly and helpful to my needs. The work was very thorough and I have every confidence that I should have no problems. I have been a member since the 1980's and due to the great service received over the years, I will be remain a loyal customer.

Furnace stopped working. Had another company here first, they did not have the part they said it needed to fix it. I called Williams Comfort Air after the other technician had left because I thought they might have that part available right away. (They had installed the furnace in 2013) This was after hours on a Friday night. They came and diagnosed a different problem...the first tech had identified the incorrect switch. Williams did not have this other switch and although they tried to get a parts warehouse to respond, they had to come back the next day. The furnace did work intermittently after he worked on it. Through all this the technician Thomas was very kind and patient with me and explained things so that I could understand. Thomas returned on Saturday to install the switch, but due to a particular issue with Carrier Furnaces, one more visit was needed to complete the repair.
They returned on Thursday to finalize the needed adjustments. They made sure I had heat during this time. I want to commend Thomas for his patience and kindness, and above all, his hard work. They honored my desire to maintain a contactless experience, and communicated via phone and email. Thank you for your excellent service.
Replacing your A/C is by nature a miserable experience. But i can tell you that Williams Comfort Air made it much less miserable than it could have been. From their dispatch team, to their sales person (Mike), to their installation team... they were ALL top notch!
The communication was remarkable. I received a call, text and email confirming the appointments and letting me know when they were on their way. They also called and told me when they completed. They were kind, professional and very thorough and knowledgeable about their trade.
I would recommend Williams Comfort Air to anyone who needs HVAC products or service.

I would recommend Williams Comfort Air. My service specialist Tim Bullock was very professional. He explained everything that was wrong with my AC unit and was very honest about everything gave me three to four different options to repair.

Of course it was the coldest day in January, 2020 when our furnace decided to stop working. We have a service contract (a life saver) with Williams Comfort Air. I contacted them and the service rep, Seth Gerber, responded with the anticipated time of arrival. He arrived on time, quickly identified the problem and repaired it. Seth was very detailed and showed my husband what the problem was as well a provided us with pictures. I would definitely recommend WCA.

WCA replaced my entire Hvac system.My home is in Irvington and was built in the the late 40 s.I was concerned with the numbers that I was quoted to do the work that would be needed to bring my system up to date..From the start I could tell that they new what they needed to do and what it would take to do the job correctly.The guys that did the work were very helpful with any questions I had or concerns.my system required a lot of updating any craftsmanship to finish on time and on my budget.I look toward to doing business with Williams Comfot Air.I was very happy with the whole experience .Thank you for fixing the heart of my home.

Repeatedly tried to overcharge me that s not good business. installed new unit 2 years ago from them.Every 6 months we had some problem and they charge money.
He came out yesterday and didnt do anything , he told there is a leak but i cant check and see where it is coming from , and charged me $94 for nothing
Very courteous, friendly, professional service. I started the call via online chat and the online chat person was upfront, friendly and courteous.
We were pleased with the work that was done, the options presented to us, and the maintenance plan costs.
The only thing that my wife objected to was that we were charged for the tech to pick up the part on our invoice. It cost $132.00 for the tech to run up to Beech Grove in order to pick up the parts. $132.00 is a lot of money for the short amount of time that the tech was gone. We are pleased that he wasn't gone to get the part for very long, but that cost just seems rather high, and I suspect that it is a company policy of some sort and not something that had to do with the tech's quality of work.
Please note, we were very pleased about everything else. The tech's work was professional, he was personable, and everything was great otherwise.

Aside from that, I would like to add that Williams Air and Mr Plumber s service agreements are great! They always come quickly, and there are always discounts and free visits I wasn t expecting!

Williams Comfort Air and specifically our technician, Steve Strange, is always a pleasure to work with. He is professional, thorough, and easy to work with. The service agreement is a great value and keeps us on track with regularly scheduled maintenance for our heating/cooling systems.
Every single employee was a joy to work with and quite professional. On the day of installation all of the technicians worked well together and were quite entertaining. When I had questions they took the time to explain everything in a way I could understand. I would recommend them to any and everyone!
We found a small leak that was in fact the "canary in the mine" as it indicated that all the copper pipes in our house needed to be replaced WHILE WE WERE LIVING IN IT. This then became an excuse to install new toilets as Williams Comfort would swap them [new replacing old] at no cost since they had to remove the old anyway. Bottom line: they also had to jack hammer the slab and pull down portions of ceilings and otherwise undertake a massive job. They exceeded expectations. Left the house CLEAN. Made sure at least one toilet was working when they left for the day. etc. Their team and effort was EXCEPTIONAL.
My technician Bryan Duff was punctual, friendly, informative and perpetually busy. His explanations were clear and to the point. He represented himself and Williams Comfort Air admirably.

We just had an inspection and wasn't sure if I needed to have a tech come out or not to perform the required fix on our furnace. So I called and the woman on the phone said they normally have to come out and look in person, but that she would call the manager and ask if someone could call me. About 20 minutes later, I got a call and the manager walked me through exactly what I needed to do in a very polite and professional way. After the 5 minute call, we were done, the action was complete and I didn't have to go through the hassle and cost of getting a tech to come out. Great customer service!!!
I am extremely pleased with the customer service and level of expertise with my complex HVAC system. I am especially satisfied with my technician Jason S. He is truly one of the most efficient and skilled technicians that has ever crossed my threshold and serviced our home. I would recommend this company to everyone who needs any service for their home.
Nathan the customer service representative was by far the most helpful person I have ever dealt with. He fully exceeded my expectations. We also used the plumbing services and Craig our plumbing specialist was amazing. He explained everything and was very thorough and careful not to rush anything. They even sent out a tech to teach me to install my furnace filters! What a great company!
We subscribe to the maintenance plan, and we have had fantastic experiences with the care and detail they provide in this service. We were very happy with the service tech they first sent out, and request him now specifically for our future service calls. It s always an easy decision to renew each year. We also appreciate the fact that they test several components of our system and share with us when things are starting to show signs of wear/potential future failure ; this certainly makes it easier to prepare mentally for the larger repair or replacement expense that may be needed down the road.

Not a fan of fee's for an estimate for repair. It left me with a sour taste in my mouth, and will probably be going with someone else just because of that. I did agree to them to come out to give me an estimate on the cost to repair with the fee in mind. But also that the fee would be waved if I went with the repairs. I was thinking a few hundred dollars. The estimate was $1500. $900 for a fan motor. $400 for fan blades. about $200 for 1 year certification. And about $100 for a full tune up.
Since I was expecting hundreds, not $1500, I couldn't agree to the repairs. So I had to pay $94 for the 15 minutes it took them to tell me what I could already see.
If this is how this business works, I'm in the wrong field. We give free estimates always. Our customers only pay for the work we do for them. And we'll spend hours working up a proposal, only to be turned down.
So because I just handed a check for $100 over to them for no work, I cannot recommend them. $100 is a lot of money to just dump down the trash. Maybe I'll try to get an estimate for the estimate first.
For the quality of service, I can't really say. But won't really know. Just know that a flat fee for very little work seems a bit wrong, and because of that, I'm going to choose someone else.

We just recently bought a home and the previous owner had cats. I called Williams Comfort Air to clean my duct work and dryer vent (which had never been done in 20 years). The experience was amazing! The duct cleaners showed me the before and after of the vents. All I can say is, thank goodness we had this completed. The technicians were respectful of my home and wore shoe covers. I highly recommend Williams Comfort Air for duct cleaning. Attached is a picture of the lint that was removed from my dryer vent.
They did a great job if you can get financing for a new furnace if you don't have the credit your screwed like we are

Service: furnace tune up on 24 yr old unit. Williams Comfort Air was able to send out a technician the same day. They called me & also texted me the technician's name, photo & qualifications 30 minutes prior to his arrival. Bill F. is an experienced technician who explained everything in layman's terms, step by step. Several times he asked what questions I had and he provided detailed answers, also a firm price quote on a replacement part, which I opted not to have installed. My furnace works at a greatly reduced efficiency, I've known that for a few years, and I will have this company replace it before December.
Technician was knowledgeable and helpful. Helped me plan best course of action for the future.

If I could give them negative stars I would. They were horrible to try and work with. First time they came out to my house they broke the door frame and said they would come out and fix it but never did. Then after $5000 worth of work the plumbing was still backing up into our house and they told us that was a separate issue and wanted more money from us. After dealing with that they started to ignore us so we went through the BBB and they were lying saying they had been contacting us to try and help which was a complete lie. We finally went through a different company to finish things for us and they told us that Mr. plumber did an incomplete job and that we paid way to much for the incomplete job. Do yourself a favor and go through a different company! I would never recommend this company in a million years!

Charged me almost $100 to tell me we were out of luck transferring their 10 year warranty to our name because it was a few months outside of their 5 year transfer cutoff (of which we would have no idea about as we bought the house just over a year ago).
So, we cut our losses with that and discussed what would be needed to proceed with fixing our ac. The gentleman essentially ridiculed my wife for us not having a home warranty to cover some of the expenses (which I have since heard they would likely not even honor). He also told us they wouldn t do any work (if we hired them) until we hired someone to move our water softener out of their way.
At this point we decided a second opinion was in order. And when they came they let us know that based on the logs from previous maintenance that we had from the previous owners of the home that Williams had essentially created the problem we were facing by applying a temporary solution that exacerbated the root problem that now left us faced with replacing the whole inside and outside units. This was not a sales tactic on their part since williams rep also said we should replace both. He did not however mention that his company was the main contributor to the problem that made us need to.
Moral of the story is we will never use their services and I will certainly recommend their competitor who did all of the work .. next day .. at cost (because they felt so bad that we had this experience with Williams and recognizing the heat wave that is due to come and it s potential impact on my elderly mother and young son that also live with my wife and I)
The technician Gary Ruddell was amazingly professional and fast. He went beyond his way to help explain and fix our issue. Because of Gary we will use William comfort air in the future.
