Overall it was very nice despite the price to pay for your basic amenities, it was a hassle to ask for bathroom items. If you expect a high price room would have high class amenities, then you are mistaken.

Nice place to visit. The bad thing that happen was Tommy Barlett show cancelled .We could not used free tickets, only stay one night. What they could do is let people check in early for maybe a little more money on first rooms avalible.

We stay here every summer with a large family. The rooms are clean although a little outdated. But realistically with all the fun stuff to do right on the property you won't spend any time in the room. You'll stay here will also give you discounted golf at courses like Wild Rock (little overrated). Get a huge strawberry daiquiri and enjoy the lazy river

Hotel accommodations were sub par. Bathtub in the room was dirty and the television was a fifty dollar TV set absurdly small. Our room placement and walk was inconvenient to any part of the resort for a family with a stroller and small children. Water park was decent and staff was reasonably nice however I would never visit the hotel on a weekend overcrowded and rude inconsiderate guests that seem to be ignorant to families by blasting loud music into the night. Would come on an off day during the week if the hotel was empty otherwise don t bother unless you want to be surrounded by drunk people.

Our favorite place in the dells. Always have a great time and end up staying a day or two longer than planned. Staff is always very friendly, helpful, and explains everything great. We had a minor issue one time and they fixed it right away, and gave us passes to the attractions. The best part is we almost always get to check in early.

Stay Somewhere Else!!! First off, the water park(s) were nice, but that was the only good thing. The room was WET. The walls, the beds, the floor felt like walking on a sponge. I have serious mold/health concerns about the interior accommodations. Management/Maintenance basically told us they could do nothing about it. The food was under-cooked, sub-par, and again health questions about prep. etc. You have many other options in the Dells. For the health and well-being of your family: choose another.

YES! What an amazing place. We came with my 18 yr old Daughter. 3 of us had a blast. But we realized it was more for families with younger kids. While we still did the zipline and other activiities, it didnt warrant us staying there for more than 2 days.

The water park was awesome but that s where the fun ended. We stayed in room 3090 and it was horrible. The walls are paper thin and we had some 40 y/o degenerates staying above us that partied and raised hell all night. Call the front desk and complained about the noise after quiet hours and nothing was done about it. I expect a certain level of noise from kids or a family but this was like animal house was above us... Next time we will stay at Great Wolf where it s a family oriented park. $280 a night for this....

Update. Talked to guest services and they stated that since we only complained twice before 10PM they couldn t do anything for us besides recommend a top floor room next time and that some guests need to be told multiple times before they quiet down. I stated that since I had called twice with no results then I was wasting my time. I guess to get results you need to stay on the phone constantly and do security s job for them. Pretty dissatisfied and won t spend another dime here.

Everything was great about the whole stay, we have been coming for years and never had a problem. Except this time I booked the stay with my debit card and when we checked out of the hotel we just left our keys and towel cards in the room, I pay cash for everything on vacation and never charged anything to the room, around 1pm day of checkout I received a text from my bank saying I got charged $93 and some change from the hotel, I didn't expect this so I went to checkout and asked what this was for and the lady said it was from eating breakfast at wild canyon cafe the morning before. We did not even eat there the whole time we were there, we ate at paul Bunyan's that morning, so she said they could reverse the charges and they did, which was great. But my concern is why did this happen and how many times does this happen to people who didn't check. last few years we used our credit cards and may not have checked good. The lady said that if someone charges something to there room from wilderness on the lake with same room number it could go on wrong bill, this is crazy to me, please fix.

This was our second stay at Wilderness Resort. The room was clean and well kept. Our favorite is the sun dome / wave pool and the relaxing atmosphere. It's a great get away to brake up the winter months. We plan on going again next year.

Amazing place to stay. Great hospitality and helpfulness. The kids really loved the many options of slides and the wave pool. The hottub was nice as it was indoor and outdoor. There were multiple pools so that saved some vaca money as the kids would just pick a different spot each day. Also the fact that the water resorts were free of charge since we were staying there was a bonus as well. We were able to avoid long lines bc the only ppl that can be in the water parks are guests

Every year we come and love it.

Every year we come and love it.
So grateful

Only advice: make every pool, even with kids running playground pools, give them something at least four feet for parents grandparents aunts uncles etc

Checked in 11:00 AM & was told my handicapped accessible pool view room had the pool area closed, so they gave us $10 in arcade credit. Then they told us they d text us when our room was ready. They texted at 4:04 pm only after I complained. They expected us to wait 5+ hours for a room. By the time we got the room, we both were too exhausted to enjoy the 1 outdoor waterpark that was open and closed at 6pm.
Cmon.

WAY BETTER than our previous stay in the Dells at Mt Olympus considering that place was a joke and out dated and trashy all around from the hotel to the water park Spend your money here. Bed could use a updating but still better than Mt Olympus beds where you feel the springs.

Nice place really crowded over Christmas. But water parks are well maintained. My only problem was people taking babies and little children in the hot tubs despite posting and no life guards enforcing the rule.

Do NOT stay at this resort if you expect to get your money's worth from water activities and some restful sleep. The confirmation email and reminder email said NOTHING about the fact that only a little over half of their water activity areas were open. One had to click on the "water park hours" way at the bottom of the email and then scroll to determine openings. AND THEN we had preteen kids screaming and slamming doors for 45 minutes at MIDNIGHT. I finally had to call the front desk and complain. THEN at 7:30 in the morning the construction crew pulled up outside our window with noisy equipment and began working. I complained to front desk and "B McCoy" had a "coy" attitude. She allowed us to check out late ("big deal")_and acted as if our complaints were not legitimate. WE OVERPAID For this resort. Look elsewhere in the Dells.

I want to start off with saying I've been staying at this resort for 20+ years and have never had anything bad to say...until now. My husband and I booked a 1 night stay for our 5 year wedding anniversary on July 25, 2020. We arrived early to get into the waterpark. We checked in, got our wristbands, and were told that we would receive a text with our room number when the room was ready. We went to the waterpark with our cellphones and car keys in a bag and left the bag on a chair by the outdoor children's pool under a towel so we could check for the room number when it became available. We checked on the bag a few times throughout the day, but when we came back around dinnertime to collect our belongings to leave, our entire chair with everything on it was gone. Our flip flops were the only things left. Being extremely distraught, we had security get involved and had people dig through towel bins hoping that the bag was accidentally picked up with towels. No luck. Mind you, all of my personal belongings are locked in my car and I'm panicking that there's a chance the bag was stolen and someone found my car and took our things. We filed a police report because security believes it was stolen at this point. I tried to have the police to try and pop my locks, but again no luck. My husband and I took turns guarding my car all night in just our swimsuits because we didn't know if someone was going to try to break in or steal it. The next morning I had to call guest services numerous times to help find me a locksmith to come make me a new key as all of the phone books have been taken out of the rooms during to COVID. I filed a claim with lost and found by leaving a voicemail as no one would answer the phone or call me back. I tried to get an extended checkout by 1 hour so I could have access to a phone, and was told a manager would call me back. They never did so we were forced out at 11am with nowhere to go until the locksmith arrived. Not once during this entire dilemma did anyone from the Wilderness try to offer assistance in any way besides security. I understand that they are not liable for missing/stolen goods, but we were completely helpless and without clothing to even walk anywhere. I had no cell phones or computers to look anything up on my own. I still have yet to receive a call back from lost and found with some sort of update and it's been 3 days. For the amount of money I spent for a room I barely used because I slept in a parking lot trying to guard my car and valuables, I would have really appreciated any assistance they could have given. I will not be returning here because if anything were to happen again, I know I would left on my own.

This is a fantastic place for visiting with the family. Once checked on we never had to leave. We always had something to do. The staff for the most part was friendly. My only complaint and the reason for the missingnatarvis that there isnt enough info about the dining options and the wild west indoor park closing too early. We go to The Dells every year for vacation and will definitely return to Wilderness Resort.

Arrived and were told about a free coupon book to grab at another table. Ended up being a sales pitch for a timeshare. Then our hotel room was filthy! Leaves on the floor, stains on the throw pillows and floor, spots on the bedding (blood, juice?), not clean at all. Called the front desk and their was no apology- didn t even sound surprised! Just a we will send housekeeping right over . Housekeeping did not come. Had to call a second time. Meanwhile we found an apple in a ziplock bag in the fold out couch?! When housekeeping did come we explained the issues. We left to swim while they cleaned. When we came back, they had left the exact same stained dirty throw pillows and put them back on the bed! Also a note about how the stain on the table was the design?

We paid a lot of money for a dirty room and poor service. The water parks are fun and family friendly but I m too grossed out by our room and insulted at what we were charged to want to stay again. Beware.

The beds are soft a tv in evry bedroom and in the livingroom, they have a good kitchen. The water parks are fun for the hole family if you have young kids there's a play place and a kiddy play in the water, for teens there are basketball hoops and balls, for the adults ther are bars, I would wekomend this to my friends and family.

Wilderness is a great resort for families of all ages with indoor and outdoor waterparks, arcades, go carts, and all sorts of fun attractions. There are skywalks to the different areas as well as a shuttle service around the grounds. You can even take a boat ride across Lake Delton to the Wilderness on the Lake, weather permitting. We've been going to Sundara for years, but now we bring our kids to the family-friendly Wilderness side of things.

This is a special place. The staff was amazing, from booking to checkout and everything in between. The room was great, the water parks were a blast, and the restaurants located on the property were very good. It's not easy to find a destination that has something for everyone in the family but, Wilderness Resort can accommodate any type of vacation you are seeking. Can't wait for our next trip back.

I stayed Wyndham side last time I went but I've been in the main resort as well. It's a water park resort aimed at kids, so that's what you'll get, lots of kids. There are plenty of amenities and activities mainly aimed at kids but there are still adult activities and pretty much always a bar within ear shot for those of you who reaaaaaly don't like the screaming kids . There are a few water park selections, mostly focused on kids of course but there are some water slides an adult can join and the solarium with a wave pool is something for adults as well (kids are there too...kids are everywhere so get used to it.)

The wilderness is a nice resort with amenities for everyone. The entire resort is huge with indoor and outdoor activities. The rates are fairly reasonable, but are significantly more expensive during the summer.
The Employees are very helpful, however due to the facility being so large it is far too easy to get lost. The layout is quite strange so definitely ask for help, get a map or do a walk-through of the property when you arrive.
It is a great place for families, especially for children. Definitely check them out if you haven't already

Our family had a lot of fun at this resort. Lots to offer besides the water parks, which were great. We loved the wave pool. Although they could run it longer that 5 minutes on and 10 minutes off. This was the only annoying part of our stay. Also, there were many slides to choose from. Our favorite was The Hurricane. Everything was clean and maintained.

The room was nice. The water parks were cold for my whole family. Turn up the thermostat a bit. A few of the slides for closed. Wish the water parks were closer together. All of the amenities are expensive.
