If I could have less than one star I would. place was filthy staff was uneducated nobody that worked there could answer any kind of questions that we had . I complained to management and it fell on deaf ears. My family, and my grandchildren we will not be back. Save your money and go somewhere else...

Did not clean our room. Added an unexpected resort fee. Lines were long, wish I didn't waste money on unlimited fun pass. Also went to the pizza and lunch buffet, every table I looked at was dirty. The men making the pizza didn't know what they were doing, took a long time to be served. Wasn't busy at all..

Too bad it is sold in a way that you get everything you can imagine and when you arrive, you're charged insanely high prices for anything you want to do. Our suite smelled musty and moldy. Go carts were all I'd recommend here.

We go as a family every year between Christmas and New Years. We stay at the Wilderness every time. This year was the Wilderness on the Lake. Loved the fireplaces and the jaccuzi but there was a "heard of elephants" in the room above us. That and a round of stomach flu really put a damper on this yr but already looking forward to next yr!

4 indoor water parks and 4 outdoor water parks. Go-karts, onsite restaurants, trinket shops, arcades, and a lot of different places to stay from villas to condos to apartment size rooms. Great services, great customer service, and awesome reservationist!

Great place to stay but had to park at the conference because my parking lot was filled... one of the staff had told me they have half off their big 44 oz drinks at survivors bar after I ordered three of them and they were made I found out they were not half price and I had to pay out an extra $45 also had to sit outside of my hotel room for over a half hour waiting on security to let me in my room since my card wouldn t work

I have been coming here for years, I have to say this will be my last year coming to this facility, waited for ever for rides shuttles were over booked. Our passes for the kids had rude attendants. For 1200.00 no thank you.

Wilderness stay was terrible. Never going back. All I wanted to do was relax in a hot tub and no one was watching. Got kicked 7 times by children. Children were doing cannon balls into the hot tub, snorkeling, etc in the hot tub. Kids we're not supervised by adults and the trip was terrible. Too crowded. Ended up staying in my room the entire night. I won't be returning and I'm going to let everyone know about the awful trip and tell them to save their money and don't waste their time going for a terrible time.

I never write reviews and I mean NEVER! But I wouldn t recommend this place!! The rugs are filthy I didn t even want my baby to crawl on the rugs, beds are uncomfortable and tore down, the rooms are freezing cold as well as the whole facility so when you get out the water you ll liable to get sick from how cold it is, go karts are small and go very slow, mangers are bull shitters! I couldn t get my money back which I never stood the night from the 2 nights I book I left home the same day I got there because of everything listed above and they still didn t give me a refund!

Great water park hotel with indoor full size wave pool. Only downside to this hotel is where your room is. You could literally be over a 1/2 mile away from the wave pool or other hotel attractions based on where your room is. Make sure to ask questions like that especially if you have small children.

Overall it was fun with the kids. Will nickle and dime you on everything. Be prepared for spending alot of money for everything and bring walking shoes of you want to go between waterparks. Room was standard hotel room you could find anywhere. I am still waiting on getting my receipt emailed to me since they couldnt print it out..weird.. felt like i was being overcharge and wanted to see the resort fees...this upset me the most.

Went to the arcade on Saturday night the 29th of feb bought $40 worth of credits didn t use all of them up, went back the next day added on $20 worth more of credits used them all up and then I went to redeem and tells me there s only 4 tickets on my card which I know I won over 100 because I won 100 tickets on a game.. they wouldn t give me anything and the manager whose name was Amanda told me that the computer was always right and she s never seen it failed.. which for one I work with computers and POS all the time and let me tell you they fail ALOT! So they didn t offer me money back or nothing never come back here.. also we were on the water slides yesterday and someone got hurt on the slide we were about to ride and they stopped the ride for a little bit and made us walk back down the stairs and had to get back in line and wait for the other slide that was working perfectly fine.. talked to the lifeguard and asked if we could alternate lines so we didn t have to wait in line again and they said no you have to go back and wait.. so then we talked to the supervisor and told him what happen and he goes they are supposed to alternate lines if something happens like that all in all it was a terrible experience here

We just tried booking at your hotel again for a basketball tournament and so far this has been the WORST experience I have ever had trying to book a room. Your website booking system does not work ... I had to called in and talked to a lady tonight that told me I could not bring any other children than my OWN because they are not 18 ... SAY WHAT? This does not even make sense ... so EVERYONE that you bring to your resort needs to be your own child? OK ... how do you police this? She would not book my room for me ... SO I asked to speak with her supervisor ... then SUDDENLY it was ok. The lady was going on and on and I said After 40 minutes of my night wasted trying to book this room ... CAN WE PLEASE just do the reservation because its almost 10pm and I want to get to bed ... THEN SHE HUNG UP ON ME. The only reason we are going here is because our boys are in a basketball tournament. The rooms suck and I always have had sub par service ... time to get your act together. There are plenty of other places in the Dells and I would never go back here again if I did not have to

Wilderness was nice. Lots of indoor and outdoor waterparks. Only drawback is they are really spread out. Each park had a favorite slide or theme for our family. This would get 5 stars except the information desk was not helpful anytime we had questions. Aside from the lady who did the duck tours who was great, the other information people were not very helpful.

Great place to stay and visit, good sized rooms, great water park especially for family, great in house restaurant/buffet, inside go-cart track, game room, close to other restaurants, bars, and interstate.

Poor management of lines (to check in or get information after check in) - we stood in line for over an hour twice during our 3 night stay. The hot tub was full of unattended children who treated it as a kiddie pool, splashing and swimming into people.

Not worth it anymore. Rooms are disgusting! Pool had a dead BAT in it near all the kids.

AFTER RESPONSE FROM OWNER: It actually was the indoor pool. Overall, you guys know that this place is way overpriced for what you have to offer. I've stayed in the Villas 4 times, Glacier Canyon twice the year it opened, as well as other surrounding properties in the area. Each stay at THIS resort was nothing short of $1000+ room rental and I've never once enjoyed the whirlpool in the bedrooms. They ALWAYS have a dirt slime ring inside them and the water gets cold 1/10 of the way of filling it up. A lot of lousy housekeeping and maintenance, but the catch is, YOU GUYS KNOW ALL THE PROBLEMS. These robotic responses mean nothing. You will continue to dupe the public like you're a luxury resort with luxury prices. Give it a break. Find a way to show appreciation to the CUSTOMERS, instead of your pockets all the time. Spend some money and upgrade your facilities. This is an entire Wisconsin Dells issue.

I ll echo the concerns of others and say there was very little done to protect against COVID. I kept up to date with their policies since reopening, and they talked a big game on their website and social media. In reality very few staff members were wearing masks (and those who were most often had them only on their mouth or under their chin entirely). Yes, social distancing stickers are placed in high volume areas but not enforced by staff. Watched plenty of housekeepers enter rooms with no masks or gloves. Capacity was not limited, it was just as, if not more, busy than it was when I visited in December. Didn t seen anyone walking around cleaning/sanitizing chairs and tables in pool or lobby area. I ll also say the first floor had a strong smell of weed in several areas.

New lobby looks great! I m hoping to see the rest of the resort undergo a major re theming to match its look. Water park areas are becoming more and more well kept.

Found a used condom in our room that we had kids in. Refunded our money for the night and that was it. Pretty sad for such a disgusting thing you would think they would do more to make it better. Getting my money back for the night is not gonna make me return. Kalahari would have made good on this and took care of us. Go to Kalahari!

Spent the weekend at the Wilderness Resort 11/4-/11-6 Like we do twice a year. After a long day at the water park we retreated back to the room. My son was the first in bed and the rest of the family soon followed . My son said there was brown spots on the comforter of the bed I looked and was grossed out. I then decided to check the other bed and boom there was spots on both. Many thoughts ran through. I hoped that I was just dealing with a bag of spilled reese's pieces no fun intended. Made the call to get new sheets. Once the cleaning lady arrived I Used a wet wipe and showed her that if I gently wipe it off that it proves the sheets were not cleaned. Cleaning lady responded and I quote (I'm not surprised I hear bad things about the day shift) I was shocked. After the bedding was fixed I walked to the front desk to make a formal complaint. Explained the issue to the manager on duty Josh. He had no answers for me. He apologized to me multiple times and offered me $50.00 off my stay.... $50.00 I said i'm only worth 50 dollars. Then he offered me resort fun passes. I shared with him that I wan't nothing of the sort just a sorry from upper management. This never happens... He insisted I take the fun passes and so I did. In the end The sheets were Dirty and someone forgot to add kleenex under the sink both days. Must be an issues with the housecleaning department and Director of Housekeeping. I hope this review gets to the right person. I Love the Wilderness but seems like the past few trips rooms have been dirty

Rooms are okay. Water parks are fun, but air temperature could be a bit warmer overall. Restaurants, games, and activities are WAY overpriced. Leaving the resort for meals and activities was much more practical than trying to stay there 24/7.

I like the Wilderness, but after going to the Kalahari for the 1st time it really doesn't compare. It's very annoying that the waterparks are all spread out. If they were in one location it would be a lot more enjoyable. It can also be hard to find a table or chairs to put your things down. The staff isn't always very friendly which makes the experience less enjoyable as well. I also find the people who check the ID's for the swim up bar are rude. I look very young but am well over 21- every time we go there they "overly examine" my ID. Just read my birthday and let me through!

Great place to take the family and some friends. First this is a very large resort that has four different water areas 2 outside and to indoor. There is an indoor kids water park with a wave pool that has plenty of food. The outdoor parts are almost too big. There's giant slides, lazy Rivers, food and drinks and other entertainment around the facility. There's restaurants in buffets so you don't have to drive too far but there's tons of amenities near the facilities. The staff is very helpful and pride themselves on customer service it's an amazing experience. I will be taking my family back again again and we're going to make it a yearly tradition. The cabin rooms are surprisingly nice we had to bed with the couch refrigerator will a mini fridge anyway and two TVs. The one thing is there's no sink in the bathroom with outside in the room so that's a little bit weird but other than that it's pretty cool. All in all we had a wonderful experience and I can't wait to go back again thank you.

Wasn't impressed at all. Indoor waterworks are small and boring for our young kids. Had to walk a mile of hotel hallways to get between parks. Recommend Kalahari #1 then Great Wolf Lodge #2 over Wilderness. Won't be back.

Loved it! We stayed across the water in Wilderness on the Lake in two bedroom condo. We had three kids all under four and four adults. It was really nice to have a kitchen so we did not have to take our kids out to eat, because they were so tired from all the fun they had at the water parks. Clean, easy to find each park, friendly staff, and great family atmosphere.

Great family resort. So much to do. We stayed at a 3 bedroom cabin on the golf course after Labor Day. What a Great deal. And there was a 4th queen bed in the loft.

A few hick-ups that were easy to deal with. Most of the staff was friendly, with just a few that seemed bothered to be there.

Very nice we go here every year and sometimes more than that. The rooms are very nice staff is also the best. Moosejaw pizza is the best place ever. I highly recommend this place is better than all the other hotels in the Dells.

I loved the rooms and bathroom. But what I did NOT like was that breakfast wasn't free. And second, why couldn't they have made the hotel bigger. Absolutely did not like the fact that they had to separate the two exact same hotels. But as far as that the rooms and bathrooms were really fantastic.

We have stayed here in the past and have had an excellent experience. The water parks are great but cleanliness of rooms is awful. We had to call daily to get toilet paper because room service doesn't restock when they attempt to clean. We had dried blood on the bedding and requested a new comforter but they put the same one back on.

I m is Amazing. I have spent some of the best moments of my life their! Amazing choices and several water parks separated so you can try them all my favorite is the Wave Pool and the water slide called the Hurricane!!! The arcades (especially Northern Lights) are amazing and easy to win lots of tickets! I won a mini Polarid Camera form their! Food and other stuff it amazing! I love the shuttle service too!!!

We loved our room.... Loved 75% of our stay.... However did as were told for special transport seeing as though we have a wheelchair dependent child and sadly 2 times the bus to take to water park didnt have a lift even though we called in advance for the bus very frustrating... After that we did our own transports....

We visited here over spring break end of March 2018. Family of 5 comfortably slept in a double suite with a wet bar. We chose this room for the wet bar to our reservation and table top would come in handy for meals and snacks. It also came added a pull out bed and extra tv which also came in handy when the kids needed their own calm down space. Our 2 oldest ended up falling asleep on the pull out bed together every night. It was pretty sweet to see them being loving and snuggly to each other. We enjoyed all the water park areas except the wave pool with 2 Littles it just wasn't an area they would of been comfortable in(Wild waterdome). We all loved cubby's cove, wildwest & Klondike kavern. Be prepared to walk because everything is pretty well spaced out. With all the swimming, splashing in the water and walking through the halls you'll be tired by the end of your day. For us spring break was a pretty good trip. It didnt seem over crowded with as many people as there were. All the staff we encountered were helpful and friendly. We'll definitely be planning another trip here....maybe when it's warm this time.
