First off the wave pool is insanely awsome! Hands down! Parking your kister in a chair was a tad challanging but not impossible. During this holiday season. Busy time you feel me.:) if you any sort of walking difficulties id think you would have trouble truly exploring the wilderness. Most slide rides 15 to 30 minutes is fair, and it was peak. Breakfast bar 15 bucks well worth it. Loads of bacon donuts cinnamon rolls @ plus. If your kids are into arcade games might as well empty your 401k 1.50 to 2.00 bucks per play. Ridiculous! The cafi/ bar my sliders i ordered were not cooked through. Bar tender was not pleasant at all. I felt rushed and unwanted. When i was the only customer. Still kinda erks me. Overall.....i dont know.....im still on the fence a bit. :)

Upon arriving there has been nothing but great hospitality! I appreciated going to each hub of entertainment. We only plan to stay for a few days and nights, but overall they have been extremely patient. The staff have all been welcoming, pleasant, and can't say too much negative about this experience!! Cheers!!

We stayed in a two bedroom suite in Glacier Canyon Lodge. It was definitely worth the extra money. Very clean, comfortable beds and great for traveling with young kids with earlier bedtimes. We brought our own food, cooked and enjoyed the comfort of the large room after venturing the water parks during the day. Food/drink in the water parks was very expensive. Recommend spending a bit more to get a room with a kitchen and bring your own food.

Everything was fun. Everything is clearly designed to "be fun", mostly with kids in mind. There are elements of this place that give the appearance of a "resort", but the execution is off. The furniture in the rooms and public spaces feel built to be durable and just comfortable enough that you don't mind. The food is passable but nothing to get excited about. The privacy of a cabana was nice, but the service was not any better than if you just got your food and drinks yourself. There are definitely plenty of options for water parks, and the pools rarely felt overcrowded in the middle of July.

The Restaurant Fields is Operated and staffed with people who have no business working in a fine dining establishment.
Customer satisfaction is not the number one priority as it should be. The staff leaving is the number one priority at the end of the night which would explain why we were rushed from appetizer to salad to entree and then asked twice if we were finished with the creme brulee... finally asked for a manager who said he would take my advice on the customer satisfaction index problems that I described. This was then not reflected in even offering a free cup of coffee or the desert that was ordered. Never will I visit an establishment that doesn't recognize customer satisfaction is being number one. There are plenty of places to go in the Wisconsin Dells area that will meet our needs next time.

Big big big resort with a few water parks. Indoor walk can be over a half mile so bring some walking shoes. Rooms are middle of the road. Arcade and ropes course were fun. You can charge to your room so you don't have to worry about lugging your purse. It gets super crowed and hard to find a table or a chair on the weekends.

Really nice resort. Lots of entertainment for kids. Go karts, arcades, ropes course, and of course lots of slides. The slides may look ugly from the outside but the hurricane slide was my favorite! The buffet breakfast was alright. Not the best food but ok. Kinda pricey as well.

So much fun! There is so much to do for adults and kids. Very reasonably priced. Every associate has been fantastic and helpful. We've stayed at other resorts but this one takes the cake! We go the dells every year. We will be back!

The Wilderness is a super cool resort. Came here with my boyfriend (we're in our 20s) and had a ton of fun! The arcade is as fun as the drinks are expensive. Great place to unwind and spend a fun weekend away from the world. :)

We loved it! It was very clean and staff was absolutely amazing. The fact that you have 4 parks that are both indoor and outdoor make it the best experience. We stayed on the lake in the two room condos. Enjoyed the free shuttles and free boat ride across the lake. Dont waste your money going anywhere else.

We LOVE our 3br deluxe suite at Glacier Canyon Lodge. For our Large Family it was a great fit. We spent many nights at the dining areas creating wonderful memories that they will carry with them the rest of their lives. We have our traditions that we do every year like Polka dot pots and Wild Canyon Buffet, Monk's, and our Mommy & Daddy massage treatments at Sundara Spa. This year we added to our memories w/ blacklight mini-golf in the arcade & ordering Pizza Pub to our suite. ( That was FABULOUS ) GOOD is good! Thank you for another wonderful Family Spring Vaca!

The rooms (suites) r starting to look shabby. The buffet for breakfast is awful. Will never eat there again. The pots n pans r poor quality. I don't expect fancy cookware but a non stick frying pan would be helpful. We had to throw our eggs in the garbage. My grandkids love coming there.

The indoor water parks are a good time and a great spot to visit during the colder months. If you are going with a good sized group I'd recommend the 2 bedroom villa. there is plenty of space for a decent price.

DON T GO DURING A WINTER WEEKEND!!!!!

DON T GO DURING A WINTER WEEKEND!!!!!

We chose wilderness because the water parks are for guests only unlike many other resorts in the area. It is disgustingly packed on winter weekends. It s like a bunch of rats fighting for food. The hot tub and lazy river were so packed that you literally could not fit one more person in them. Lines for the slides were ridiculously long with some up to 45min. We couldn t find a single chair in any of the water parks and it was so bad people were leaving there stuff on the fake rocks and bushes. Paid $800+ for a room, for 3 days, to wait in line for an hour for one water slide. Ended up leaving a day early. The outdoor parks are obviously closed during the winter but they still book the hotel to capacity causing the indoor water parks to be a scene of total chaos. Definitely going to Kalahari next time. Never had this big of an issue with over crowding there, even though it s open to the public.

Edit: Wilderness, I didn t say you re open to the public. I think you need to reread my review.

I went to the wilderness this weekend for a dance competition. The conference center was hard to find, and had no concessions. Also, tried to find the coffee shop and got lost in the hotel. They layout makes no sense and I must have asked 5 employees and none of them helped me. Also we got water park passes at the front desk and went to the water park but found out you needed towel cards. Had to air dry. Also we did not see any lockers in the water parks locker room and we were concerned our stuff would be stolen. Not coming back.

Stayed at Wilderness Resort in a standard 2 queen bed and sofa bed room on a Wed through Fri. The room was well kept and clean. Every room has a patio or balcony. We were on the first floor a little noisy from running in the halls above but not terrible, typical hotel noise. I thought the room was great for the cheapest room. A lot of walking through the resort to get to each pool wish somehow they were all connected or closer. Not very good directions to each pool as far as the hall signs. Food was very pricey for not the greatest food but that's all over Wis Dells and it's expected in the resorts. We were able to bring our own food because even the standard rooms have a fridge and microwave. 2 nights 3 days went quick so much to do recommend at least 3 nights 4 days. It was great overall. Would go back for sure!!!

I was amazed at how big the resort was. My children enjoyed the waterparks and I wish we had more time to spend there.
We spent a beautiful day at the outdoor park at Glacier Canyon. I thought there was just enough things to keep my 9, 5, 3, and 1 year old entertained.
I was upset and quite irritated when I was on a double tube on the river with my 3 and 5 year old. We got in line to go down the slide and when it was our turn to go down I was told by the lifeguard only 2 people. So I had to jump out of the tube with my 3 year old and my 5 year old went down the slide by herself. Yes, all three of us could have gotten out of the tube but my 5 year old was very excited and the guard sent her down.
I read the river rules and nothing is posted about only 2 people and if only 2 people are suppose to go down the slide then why did the other lifeguard let us get in line. The rules also say that children should be accompanied by an adult. So wasn't sending my 5 year old by herself a violation of the rules. I was then worried about what my kid was going to do when she got to the bottom of the slide while I rushed around, with my 3 year old in tow, trying to find her. I would have appreciated some consistency with lifeguards and the rules. I'm not sure what it would have hurt to let the 3 of us go down the slide.

We stay here every year for Thanksgiving. We love it. We never have to step foot outside if we so choose. There are a variety of activities and food choices available. Kids can race go carts, play laser tag, paint ceramics or do a ropes course. We do the Thanksgiving buffet and it has gotten better every year. Best choice we ever made!

Wonderful super fun place. Definatly will be back. We got a discount from Groupon. We were not told one of the indoor and outdoor parks would be closed but we still has a great time. Food is a bit pricey on the resort but I think that's to be expected.

Wave pool was the only reason that we came back and now they changed it and it is not worth the drive here. House keeping did not change any bedding or make the beds nor did they even vacuum the floors or replace towels. Then add on top of that that all of the workers have extremely negative attitudes and do not show any respect to the customer. After coming every year for the last 4 years I am not sure we will be coming back.

Worst experience ever at this resort the manager of this resort has little to no customer service skills at all. I checked into the resort at 1:30 am was told i would have to check out at 11:am or pay for two nights wasn't told this by a gentleman at the reservation center the manager refused to accommodate me for the mistake that was made I ask for a late check out she said sure until 2 so now i am out looking for another hotel to stay for the night and to top it off it's my birthday thanks for nothing keep up the good work
