Checking in was great they were vary knowledgeable and helpful! Easy to get lost as this place is huge but not a bad thing!! Lots to do and in a great area! Me and my whole family enjoyed our stay and will be returning in the future! Only negative thing is cleaning in rooms could be a little better as the dishwasher was dirty with food and trash cans had trash under the bags from previous guests , I'd also recommend bring a good pillow as the ones provided were hard as a rock. But all in all staff made the stay Great and all the activities are Great!!

Ok, here's the deal, we've been coming to the Wilderness Resort for 12+ years, this year was really special, i slipped into my bed last night about midnight and it was very wet under the covers, I felt the top of the bed and it was dry, I freaked out and jumped up, Turns out the people before us had pissed in the bed and Wilderness staff not only just covered it up with fresh sheets but Amanda the manager on duty tonight thought a 25% discount was sufficient for sleeping in human piss, Keep your 25% discount and live with my review on every site i can post to for the next year, this place is discusting and I'm sorry it took me this long to find out money is more important than guests sleeping in human piss.

I absolutely love staying here! I only go to the Wisconsin Dells once a year but when we go I prefer staying here not only are the rooms great but the indoor water park ensures that weather can't stop your fun. In addition the location makes traversing the dells fairly easy depending on where you need to go!

Our room was on the first floor! We did not sleep listening to kids running above us ALL.NIGHT.LONG! I recommend getting a higher floor! These rooms shoild not have carpet either. Waterpark traffic
and carpet is not ideal!

Don t go if you are at all concerned about Covid-19.

We just got home from a trip this Labor Day weekend, and I was not impressed. The room was great, it was spacious and clean, but we were hoping to spend time at the water park and we just didn t feel safe at the resort. There was not a culture of concern at Wilderness. I didn t feel that Wilderness had any concern for the prevention of Covid-19, and it showed, everywhere.
In July, our family went to Great Wolf in Traverse City, MI and they did everything right, from posting signage about masks everywhere, employees asking guests not wearing masks to put them on, hand sanitizer dispensers everywhere, lifeguards wearing masks, lifeguards sanitizing areas of the water features that didn t get wet regularly, and obviously limiting the capacity of the hotel and waterpark, and even the stores in the building. Slides had been marked for social distancing, and tables and chairs removed to encourage social distancing. Everything they did made me feel like they cared about Covid and protecting me as their guest.

In contrast, Wilderness made me feel like a cow coming to the slaughter. On a weekend that wasn t very warm, one of the indoor water parks was closed, concentrating the huge crowds in two small indoor water parks. There were the same amount of tables as usual (we have been before), and it was just as packed as it had been when I went before Covid. There were barely any signs stating the State of Wisconsin requirements for people to wear masks while indoors. I understand not wearing a mask when in the pool, or at a water attraction, but tons of people, sitting at tables, not eating, just hanging out, not wearing masks, sitting right next to the table next to them, also not wearing masks is not okay, that is what is prohibited by the state of Wisconsin. When I walked through the Klondike Kavern and the Waterdome, I did not see a single person sitting in those buildings wearing a mask except a couple of employees. Not even all the employees were wearing masks. The guy working at the dipping dots had his mask under his nose (gross, you re serving food). I saw 6 employees (not lifeguards) not wearing masks. Of course guests won t wear masks if your employees won t wear masks. Most of the housekeeping staff were not wearing their masks or had them under their noses. They were not wearing gloves. Besides not protecting your guests you aren t protecting your employees by enforcing requirements. There were very few hand sanitizer dispensers, very few signs, no enforcement, and no reduction in capacity. I went hoping that Wilderness would care as much about their guests as Great Wolf did. I came home hoping I don t have an infectious disease that could have been prevented by a company caring more about people than about money.

Had a great time at the Wilderness. The cabin was nice the water park was very accessable from the girls enjoyed themselves riding the shuttle to and from the park a great experience with the family.

I loved it. It's an all inclusive resort, you won't have to leave the building for anything if that's what you're into. Complaint: There is a lot of kids running the halls and doors slamming if you're trying to relax in your room, not much you can do about it. Other than that it was a beautiful resort for waterparks and swimming, even tanning in the middle of the winter. The food and drinks are great. They have two exstensive arcades, indoor go-karts, and the 3D blacklight mini golf was my favorite.

Loved the rooms, spacious and had everything we needed to be comfortable in them. A little pricey, but worth it. I also loved how many options there were for entertainment. Go carts, laser tag, water parks...I'm exhausted after all of that playing.

Loved our condo and feels like home away from home. They have waterparks for all ages and a great variety. We came over MEA break in Minnesota and while some of the parks were crowded, we still had a blast and all staff were friendly.

Had a blasted time with the family. Family friendly if wanted to have fun here. Would recommend family to come again. They also had a groupon discount so it was great to save a little while being here.

My family had a awesome time. There's a lot to do at this resort. We spent 3 days here and we didn't get a chance to visit every pool and arcade. The rooms were clean but I feel carpet should be changed.

We stay wilderness on the lake. Can't say enough about it. Beautiful......The resort with all the watermarks where incredible. Olive the lazy river. The kids had a blast. They have everything there for kids and grown up too. Even drive around town it's incredible. The food is good at the resort . We try there buffet. They try to talk you for a time share. Do it for 90 min, You get good gifts. Money towards your bill or food. What's 90 min. But don't let them talk you into anything. I have a time share somewhere else. Your stuck with the rest of your life. But go there to the resort and have fun. Its a great place to go with your kids.

So much fun at the water parks. Tried several restaurants and food was fine. Go karts are really just racing cars on track. We liked the 3-D mini golf course with aquariums between holes. Took off glasses though to see the holes.

Fun experience. Be prepared to spend money just like any other resort. Get to the pools early for a spot or rent a Cabana in advance. Kids loved it. Lots to do. Great for a three day weekend getaway.

For the most part everything was great, the rooms, the slides, and all of the other entertainment areas. I was there for my cousin's birthday party and he enjoyed it thoroughly as did I. The only bad part I could see with the hotel and water park is the massive walk, which is good exercise, and the crowd, which can't always be helped. Otherwise, 10 out of 10

The building was outdated, overly large and not enough elevators. The room walls were so thin that my family of five could hear all of the arguments and noise in the room next to us. Not a good experience at all.

Fun AF

I stay here for a few days every winter. The kids love it, it's a great getaway for the weekend, and we have never had a bad time. Halls can be a bit loud on busy weekend but what do you expect with tons on kids...

I don't usually give poor reviews however we were so unhappy during our stay, we couldn't wait to leave!

The moment we checked in after driving two hours and having to use the rest room we were chased down by a lady trying to convince us to go to a timeshare presentation. Once we got settled in my husband and I were looking forward to relaxing in a hot tub, like we do every time we visit a water park. There was only one hot tub in the klondike which was not even"hot" and also was so crowded with children that there was no where to sit. We also couldn't find a table any where to put our things on so were told to get to the water park early the next morning and get a table right away. The next day we went to the water park dome which was a bit warmer (except the swim up jacuzzi tub was luke-warm) and there is a nice wave pool. We left our items at our table and went to play Go Karts and when we returned couldn't find our table! After searching around for 15 minutes we realized a group of people stole our table and put all of their things on top of ours!! Then they refused to get up so we went on a search to find a table and in every single water park there wasn't a single table to sit at! Literally people were putting their towels in the corners and on ledges because there was no space to put any of our things! In addition, it takes about ten minutes to walk any where at that place unless you go outside to take a shuttle to another park. We have stayed at The Kalahari and Great Wolf Lodge, both which were 100x better than this place. In addition, I paid $17 for both of my kids to ride the Go Karts and neither of their cars drove properly. Another kid passed my son 3x because his car was so slow. When I went to complain the girl working couldn't speak English and we got no where.

The room was clean but the beds were terribly uncomfortable and need to be upgraded. Really the only pro was that their breakfast buffet was delicious, however it did cost $72 for my husband and two teenagers to eat.

Overall we were very upset and my husband was going to complain before we left, however we couldn't find a single staff member who spoke English as their first language. I highly recommend skipping this place all together and going to Great Wolf or the Kalahari if you want to have a relaxing vacation and enjoy warm water in the water park. Unless you like crowds and cold water!

The hotel was ok. More for children. Everything closes early and they over charge you and charge you for purchases you don't authorize. Went with my friend and they charged our gift card for purchases we didn't authorize. I also bought something in the gift shop and the price on my bank statement and the price on the receipt are not the same. Will not be returning.

My husband and I stayed at the wilderness resort in the beginning of may with friends and this cabin was absolutely beautiful. It had a full kitchen, a living room, a beautiful jacuzzi and a very spacious master bedroom. They have very friendly staff that will accommodate any need you'd have for your room. It's conveniently close to many water parks and many nature sights such as Devil's Lake

Stayed at this hotel with my daughter's basketball team. The rooms were clean and the water parks were great! The staff is super accommodating! Two of the dad's on the trip (named Bob and Tom) wanted to plan a Father-Father Dance at the last second - the hostess dropped everything she was doing and helped them book a banquet room. Bob and Tom were the only people who attended the dance - but they said it was a blast!!

I will NEVER stay here again! This place was disrespectful for ONE. For TWO there were only 3 water parks opened when they advertised 4. For THREE...we had BED BUGS!!!!!!! We stayed in a condo with 3 rooms it was 12 of us altogether & each person got bit. When we went to management they had I don t care attitudes about the situation. Oh we ll send our inspection team out. Fine. They come look around with their PHONE lights. Oh we find nothing! Of course not. They then began to tell us that in 1 specific room they sprayed more pesticides than the others. So what would be your take if you were told that? That they ALREADY knew the situation...right? We go back to management they re like oh there s nothing we can do there s no proof. How is there not any proof when 5 out of 12 people had bed bug bites. Correct me if I m wrong but last time I checked bed bugs bite in 3 s and each of the 5 people have 3 bites. . The management made it seem like we brought them here. Remind you. When we left our homes no one had NO marks or bites on them because we DONT have them in our homes! Management then proceeded to say maybe you guys had a picnic outside or went walking. like really? No! We specifically went from our room to the water park and back to our room and was in our room the entire night after the water parks closed. Overall we paid $441.00 for 1 night of bs! And management didn t care to make us happy since we were satisfied. We even made the suggestion. You go stay in the room & we ll pay for it and we ll what you wake up with...his response I m not staying in there EXACTLY! Because you know we re not lying. We weren t asking for a full refund but some back would ve been NICE or even paying for us to wash our clothes so we don t track them back into our homes instead it was okay I m going to need you guys to exit the premises. Why?! Because they were tired of us bringing proof after proof of people being bitten. All I know is that was OUR FIRST & VERY LAST TIME EVER STAYING AT THE WILDERNESS WE WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN AND WE ARE CONTACTING THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT.
