Sat for 30 minutes before drink order was taken, ordered margarita and bahama mama was advised 40 minutes later they were out of lime juice, another 30 minutes after that was advised they were out of liquor for the bahama mama, the air must have been broken; was sitting by the thermostat and it was 80 degrees inside. Place wasn t too slammed as they had other sections closed off. Definitely won t come back! Who runs out of alcohol on 4th of July weekend and wasn t even half way through the weekend when we visited! This place definitely has poor management!!!!

Food was good and our waitress Genesis was great. Always checking back to make sure we had everything we needed.

Very poor service. Had to keep reminding server of our order and each time it was about a 8 to 10 minutes wait. Ordered a pinia colada and after 10 minutes, I went to the server station to find server on cell phone and my drink sitting on the counter waiting. He then reached in, took the cherry out the jar with his fingers and popped it in my drink and handed it to me. Had to get a manager involved, who then adjusted the bill satisfactory. NO TIP!

Food was good service wasn't bad she was doing well she was busy.

Food was terrible, traditional and boneless wings were very, very small and the place needs an upgrade. Been going here for years when in town but that was last time. It's not what it used to be. Good price on bucket of beers if you just want to drink.

Our food was good: Wings with atomic buffalo sauce, chicken feathers with sweet barbecue, and veggie skews. Our waitress, Olivia, also good, in spite of the fact that she had to cover and make excuses for a very sad and pitiful kitchen and manager. We waited over 45 minutes for our food to arrive - simple orders as stated above. Guests seated after us had already received their food, and their orders were similar to ours, only larger. We only ordered two items. It was after 8 pm when we arrived and the establishment was not busy - several tables were empty. Olivia came to our table many times to apologize for the delay and made excuses that the kitchen was a little backed up. No manager came to our table, no compensation made for our ridiculous wait. Sad place. We won t return.

Ordered 5 items for takeout. 2 were missing, 1 was incorrect. The fries and cheese fries were good, wings just ok

We went to eat here and put our name down for a 45 minute wait. We were willing. After 40 minutes we were told we would never get our food because they had so many to go orders. Never heard of a restaurant doing this. It was so late when we left.

Did not get a chance to eat here, however solid beer selection and a local brewery has made a pint specific to them. A must try Kolsch called Rock Out!

We came here as a family while in Hilton Head for a late dinner. The restaurant was busy, but not packed; plenty of empty tables. It took 10 minutes after we were seated to get our drink orders in, and another 10 before we got them. The waiter wouldn't take our orders when he brought the drinks, so we waited another 10/15 minutes to order.

When we placed our order, two appetizers were ordered (at this point we were super hungry!). 20 minutes go by, no apps, norefills on our drinks; my husband took everyone's drinks to the bar himself to get refills! Had to flag down the waiter to ask about apps; one was brought out right away....we never received the other one.

About an hour after our order had been placed, our food was finally brought to the table. Some things were okay, some you could tell had been sitting under a heat lamp for some time. I ordered a wrap, and about three bites in, a piece of paper got pulled out of the wrap with my bite!

A manager was called over and we explained the ENTIRE situation of our evening to her. She kind of half giggled and said "I can't believe they did that..." she did apologize and said my meal would be taken off our bill.

I don't feel that enough was done to remedy the situation, she acted as though we should feel lucky that they took my meal off the bill. We were very unsatisfied with the resolution.

When it came time to pay, my family paid with cash (we didn't want to have our card swiped there after all the issues), and my Sister In Law's family paid with a card (they had no other choice). Guess what?! There was a mess up with the card and they had to swipe it multiple times! Hmmmm.... Now they're just waiting to see if they have any issues with the card.

We won't be back on our next trip to HHI, and I will warn everyone to stay away from this restaurant.

Good wings. No service can't enough servers for NFL opening day.

Super disappointed. This place used to be my favorite on the island. Now I still come once a year hoping they have improved. Must be under different management over the last few years. SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. Would not recommend any longer. Please do something to fix a place that used to be amazing.

Terrible experience. Not busy, but had to wait over an hour for our food. Wings had clearly sat in the window and were dried out. Crab cakes didn t come with sauce and were missing a side. Nachos were burnt. Supposedly had two of the meals comp d and 10% off, but math didn t add up. Didn t get an itemized receipt and we were just ready to leave at that point. Wouldn t return, wouldn t recommend.

We went on a busy Tuesday night. From the time we walked in till after we left, was an awesome experience. We were seated promptly. Our waitress, Emily was very attentive. We never had to ask for anything. They had great entertainment. The food was delicious. The manager on site was accomidating. It was just a great experience. We come to Hilton Head island every year. We will be coming back. I am big about posting great restaurant's because I want others to experience the same.

Yearly post golf stop for my uncles and I. The service there is always incredible. Well priced craft selection. Bartenders are rather knowledgable. Cant wait to see what the rennovations are like next year. Wonderful atmosphere.

Great staff, they were friendly and knowledgeable. The food was great, we had lemon pepper wings and a fiesta salad.

Loved the food, especially the wings & wedges. It was way better than Buffalo Wild Wings.
Service was slow, but we went when it was busy and next time I'll just use the Nowait app on my phone.

Always good food. Very disappointing when I ordered the cold spinach dip and was told its been taken off the menu!!

Terrible management we were a party of 8 and were told it would be a 30 min wait waiters/waitresses were let go early...we decided to wait the 30 min which ended up being 40 min only to be told that the kitchen now had a problem and it would be an additional 30 min at least so we left!!

Update on above review. I was contacted by Austin Long the General Manager of Wild Wing Cafe in Hilton Head Island he was very apologetic about my family's experience and told me to give them another chance and come back. My family and I decided to give them another shot and were ABSOLUTELY THRILLED at the experience!! Austin came out and spoke to me and my family and was glad that we decided to give them another shot. We were taken care of and had NOTHING but great things to say. We have been going there for the last 28 years and our faith has been restored in Wild Wing Cafe-Hilton Head. Thank you Austin!! We cant wait to go back next year!!

We have come here every year for many years and used to love it. We may never go back now. We were sat right away, ordered right away, then waited an hour for our food. We should have read the reviews before coming this year. All tables around us had the same issues. The food was okay, but certainly not worth an hour wait. The excuse was the kitchen was backed up. I own a condo here and will tell my customers to avoid this place. They used to be on my must visit list.

If you haven't tried the HHI Wild Wings #101, you're missing a treat! Food was excellent and the service was outstanding! Genesis was the best server we've had in a long time! She was attentive, helpful and smiling! We really enjoyed our visit tonight!

Food was good, I didn't like that we had 4 different people waiting on us. Horrible service, very slow at taking drinks that we already knew what we wanted by the time someone came and that was our first time being there. Also no refills we left

came down to hilton head for vacation, second day here & needed somewhere to eat & chose here - BAD CHOICE!!!! they closed at 11:30; when the internet says 2:00 . called to verify & the lady said they were open, got here 8 minutes later (EXACT) & they were closed due to it being a bad night & a manager quit . smh , i ll never go back & i ll be sure to tell others NOT to come here !!!

Good wings. Don't try the brave heart wings my mouth still burning one day later!

Been going here 20 yrs. Haven't had pleasure going in few yrs and sad to say very disappointed. The wings were dried out the spinach dip was burnt around the edges. The waitress had zero personality and prices were high compared to what we got. Sad to give it a bad review but the experience was not good. This place use to rock the house great place to go and watch football not now.

GREAT service, GREAT wings. Visited this past weekend with my partner and we can't stop talking about it. The host Brandon and Jahir insisted we were in the right place when we only stopped in to view a menu. Drinks we awesome too. Must order a "mother clucker"! Wings were a nice size, not fatty, nice and crispy and full of flavor! We were taken care of at the bar by Mina who was so kind and informative about the menu and the entire establishment from the duck pond to the BraveHeart Challenge! We won T shirts after eating the hottest wing flavor on the menu! We even got a chance to speak with the manager Kelly who rewarded us with our super soft, top quality Wild Wing T shirts. Also would like to mention Ashley, Ashby, and Heather. Kelly has an amazing team at this location and we hope all of the employees are acknowledged for making this dine in experience one to remember! Would deff. recommend this place and we will be returning.

Has a better variety than most restaurants on wings

This WWC is extremely inconsistent and the experience completely relies on the person you get, their level of busyness and how 'untrained' the staff are. This is the second time in three days that we came here and it was obvious that they don't have a bar manager. There is no system in place to identify seats, ensure that there is a bar tender behind the bar at all times or stay stocked.

Multiple kegs were blown when we arrived the first time and they seemed confused as to how that gets remedied. After 20 minutes they finally got to the bottom of it, only to be welcomed by flat beer. The redeeming qualities of the night is that the their bartender we interacted with seriously cared and got the problem solved and also the wings and especially the Red Dragon sauce was on point.

The second night, we stayed relatively main stream on the beers to ensure that they we're carbonated and while that worked, the service was overwhelmed by the number of people in the bar area, when they were behind the bar. However for multiple 3-5 minute periods there was no one behind the bar. For some of it, they were not far away scavenging for supplies in what seems to be an unlocked closet. The bartender was personable and if she wasn't away doing other things, I think she would've had much better success with us. From the time we got our food until the wings were completed we saw no one behind the bar. We had issues with the wings (some parts overcooked, some over done and not sauced appropriately and some super small.)

So, my opinion that there isn't a bar manager and after todays experience I question the kitchen side too.

I want to like this place... But I can't when I don't know what the service is going to be like.

Food was great when we finally got it. It wasn't busy at all, we got there about 6:30 And didn't leave until 8:30. Very slow service.

I was just told that it would be over an hour wait to get any food by two employees sitting down at the desk up front with nothing to do other than tell me this. Who goes to a restaurant to sit down and order to eat their food over an hour later? I think their kitchen must be broken or they're having a hard time figuring out the new limited menu. Sadly wild wings has gone from one of my favorite restaurants for the last 20 years starting in Charleston to now dreading any attempt to eat at the Hilton Head location, so sad, the Hilton Head wild wing location continues to disappoint at every opportunity. I would highly recommend Dough Boys or Local Pie for chicken wings and excellent customer service.

Why is there a problem with ordering five wings in one flavor every time I go. You tell me you can do increments of ten or six. Ridiculous. To go order was terrible and of course everything was not in the bag.

Note they no longer accept Canadian driver's licenses for ID. If you are visiting from Canada, appear close to or under 30 and want to order a drink with your meal you should go elsewhere. From looking online this appears to be a Wild Wing specific policy and not a legal requirement of South Carolina but I am going to see if I can find out more from the alcohol licensing board.

Best wings ever. Always great food and wonderful service. Never a disappointment. I highly recommend this place.

Ordered 2 beers and they came in dinky plastic cups since they were out of glasss... like srsly I see tables that are covered in garbage and glasses the waitresses can bring back to the dishwashers to clean... HELLO CALLED TEAMWORK!!!! Took forever to clean our table.. don't go here if ur kinda in a hurry! And the APP does not work! Final thing is our waitress was nice!

Asked for extra crispy wings, they were soggy. Servers were very nice.

Probably one of the worst places for service and food I have ever had. The atmosphere and music was great but that's about it. It took us 2 hours to get our food and they gave me the wrong burger. Then when they brought the right burger out it was cold!!!!!!!!!!! If you want to watch sports and get hot and fresh food go somewhere else!

Always enjoy our stop here when on HHI. Always great wings and cold tap beer.

There was a fight in the Kitchen with several employees cussing each other. Almost everyone in the restaurant could hear every word. There is obviously a lack of decent management there. We left after the second round of cussing started up in the kitchen so I can't say anything about the food but I could only imagine what we would have been served if we had stayed.

Last night we called ahead of time and asked how long a party of 6 would be. At 5pm we were told on the phone it would be 30 minutes. We got there around 5:45 and were told the wait would be about 35-45 min. We were ok with that and went to they bar for drinks to wait for our table. An hour later we asked the hostess for the status and were told we were the next ones to be seated and they just had to clean a 6-person booth. They sat another party there instead. We asked the bartender if the booths in the lounge were first come, first serve and were told the hostess would have to seat us. The "manager" cleaned the booths and then we saw that same hostess sat other parties in the booths in the lounge (there were 2 booths in the lounge which she sat others at). We noticed there was a single man sleeping - yes sleeping in the booth. We approached the hostess again and were told we were next and they were just waiting for another party to leave so they could have a free booth. Wouldn't you know she sat another party there?!? We told her we wanted to speak to the manager. She obviously didn't care and went out back and said she told him to come out where we were. We waited and he didn't show up. We went out back and saw he was working the "to-go" area. He finally came over and was completely oblivious to what was happening. By this time we had waited for 1.5 hours and were lied to repeatedly. There were 2 other large parties who had also walked out while we waited, including a party of 14 and a party of 6. The manager didn't acknowledge that they were short staffed and he wouldn't acknowledge there was a problem with the hostess outright lying to us over and over. We left without eating. Afterwards we found out that this place was recently acquired under new management and that the new management hasn't been up to snuff. Don't waste your time - this place needs an overhaul or it should become a shelter for people to sleep at.

The employees of this restaurant think it's OK to turn away African Americans when white women are afraid. Learn to operate a business.

Believe the negative post.. I always try to give a place a chance despite reviews but this place is bad.. Chicken quesadilla looked old dry.. Waiter only gave us refills if we asked.. I had to go find waiter to get plates to eat on after he asked if we needed plates. Plate he gave us was dirty.. Took an hour to get food. Wings were ok. Oh there is a dog water bowl on the patio.. Never saw the dog.. . And the SLLRP MACHINE IS leaking water.. They're catching it in a bucket. Will not be back here. To top it off the waiter had the nerve to ask for a tip! Tip.. Don't make the customers have to come look for you to get plates after you ask them if they need a plate.. They tell you yes.. And you still don't bring it.. Tip 2.. The customer shouldn't have to ask for refills.. Tip 3...if there's no tip you didn't do your job. SMH

By far my favorite wing place. Every time we come visit, we go to Wild Wing Cafe at least twice. Great wing flavors and decent "sport" environment.

We did not actually eat here because the outside of the building looked very unsafe and like food poisoning waiting to happen. We arrived around 4:30 on a Tuesday and there were about 5 cars in the parking lot and a few questionable looking people gathered up outside the door. The dumpsters were viable and were all over flowing. Didn't look like a place we wanted cooking our food.

From walking in the door to sitting and eating, everything was a pleasurable experience. The door greeter was friendly, the waiter was attentive, and the food was extremely good (as well as promptly delivered.) Live entertainment was offered and it was great. Great place to take the family and not spend a fortune! It was an engaging experience!

They were literally out of just about everything on the menu.

Great food but waited a while for it to come to table

First time ever writing a review. This place is poorly run, bartender running all over the place but the bar. Insane. I will not come back here ever. Seems like they have no staff. Many people show up and just leave. Go somewhere else. Manager is afraid to come out and address customer needs.

My son-in-law and my husband would be out in the back digging their own graves and preparing to climb in and pull the grass up over them if anything happened to make Wild Wings close. Wherever we go, we have to find a Wild Wings to compare with the last one. Thank goodness I like their wings too. And their lunchtime buffet - you just can't beat it.

This is a chain that I frequent on a regular basis near my home in Georgia. While visiting Hilton Head I was happy to see this location, and it ended up being dinner the first night we were here.

They have a good safety measures in place around Covid, and the food is on par with their other franchise locations.

If you like wings, they have very good wings similar to some of those more famous national places that you might be thinking of. They also have an extensive assortment of sauces and dry rubs for their wings.

This is my go to place for wings, from either the franchise or mom and pop restaurants.

Can't say that I'm a big fan nor do I believe I will be a repeat visitor, the onion rings were possibly the worst ones I have ever had they were like onions dipped in banana nut bread or something with some weird Creole seasoning? 1

Food was good, but service not so much. After being seated, we waited for at least 10 to 12 min before our server came by. We ordered drinks & appetizers and received both in a little longer than usual. Now, the other people I were with got their food with no issues. I on the other hand had ordered nuggets & received wings with bones. I informed the server and she immediately took back the plate & returned a couple of minutes later with the right food. I had also ordered a basket of fries which never arrived. I didn't say anything to see if she was paying attention. Never got the fries. I didn't get charged for them either, but that's not the point. The server didn't pay attention! That's a pet peeve of mine. It also affected the tip!

4 stars for lunch. Had a nice salad for lunch one day, and the server was great.

2 stars for dinner. SLOW service, got our order wrong, and the music was too loud (inside radio, outside live music - both with volume on high). Not to mention, food was gross.

Service was very friendly and fast for a Sunday afternoon. Food was great and grilled chicken was perfect! Highly recommend.

They racially profile African Americans. They placed us in an area away from everyone else to the LEFT. We had to let them know that we love live music as much as everyone else that is here do. No one ever waited on us. We sat and enjoyed the singing and music while we watched a waitress continuously pass us by. Finally 30 minutes later we were served by a guy that was not even on the clock. I had to go to the bar to get silverware, napkins. The food was hot and delicious thanks to the off duty server. God Bless.

Staff Is nice, they have live music every night, food is good. Beer selection is ok as well. Centrally located. I recommend wild wings cafe.

Worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant, and I took my son here for a good wing dinner and had the most expensive worst served dinner ever. We will never return. Staff was extremely rude and unatentive I have ever experienced at a restaurant.
It is interesting to me that the company doesn't have the sense to comment on the bad reviews posted here like they do for the positive reviews.

Very good place for wings but you have to get there early otherwise the place is going to be packed

Food was good once I finally got it! Ordered to go at the bar...place was not very busy but took over 45 minutes for a wrap!

My boyfriend and I visited Wild Wings In Hilton head island, SC May 2nd, 2018. The place wasn't to busy but we decided to sit at the bar anyways. We were greeted by Terrence Wilson (bartender) he was very inviting and super friendly. I was indecisive on what to have for a drink. Terrence suggested a chocolate martini and said that he makes the best. So I took him up on his recommendation. Hands down the BEST chocolate martini I've ever had! We stayed for hours and he even told us where to get clams and said we were more than welcome to come back there and eat them there. So we did. He had baskets waiting for us to put our empty shells in, lemons and salt. Super prepared for us to come back. Later that evening we left and I left behind my purse. The next day I looked all over and finally decided to drop by Wild Wings and sure enough Terrence found it last night and put it in the safe for me! Nothing was missing and I was super thankful. Terrence saved my day and our trip! When we return to Hilton Head Island this will be the first place we vist,hoping that Terrence will be working there once again!

Food was good, service was AMAZING!! Marco was our server and he was pleasant, efficient and kind!!!

WOW is all I can say! The food is delicious and the wings come in a large variety of flavors and so far I love them all! The staff is equally amazing, our waitress Katie made the experience just perfect.

Great laid back atmosphere, cheap beer, awesome wings, outside seating and friendly service. Perfect place for watching a game!
