July 21 2020. Placed order over the phone, was told 30 minutes food would be ready. On the way in, I heard a family complaining about their horrible experience loud enough to be heard by anyone nearby. Their opinion of their experience doesn't sway my opinion, but it was a good precursor of what was to come. It's now 60 minutes and I'm at the restaurant waiting. It wouldn't be a big deal if about 8 other customers weren't all also waiting for food in similar circumstances. The manager is now on her way to apologize to a full lobby of people who were all told 30 minutes or less for carry out orders and have all waiting over an hour for food. Mind you the restaurant inside is only about 1/3 full due to COVID-19 so overall it's really not that busy. Until they work out their logistics in the kitchen and how they handle orders, I'd avoid this place.

It was absolutely amazing! Fast and delicious! And our server Steve was amazing and funny, definitely will be coming again!

Atmosphere was so pleasant Shika our waitress was a very professional and went out of her way cater us. The owner / manager was greeting customers family friendly.

Bartender 4/5/18 was was a horses ass with a bad attitude. Came in to watch a baseball game and he acted like he was doing us a big favour to change the channel. He needs to be reminded he is in the service industry. We liked the food there but walked out. No time for bad attitudes.

Wings were ok nothing special but service was a good experience hence the 3 stars.

We returned to this restaurant after having good experiences in previous years. Tonight we left, when after 2 hours we did not receive our food in addition to having a rude, unhelpful, and disinterested waitress. The restaurant was not busy and now we know why. There was no hostess so we waited 20 min to be seated, only 2 waitresses so we waited 35 minutes for our drinks (which were forgotten and wrong) , and a bartender who was busy doing other things. Not to mention the sheriff and police investigating the kitchen staff at the same time which I'm sure slowed service even more. Some items we ordered were not available which we found out only after waiting almost 2 hours for our food. Not sure of the illegal activity going on that involved a full police investigation. There was also absolutely no management present through out all of this.

This place was amazing!!! We came in for lunch and noticed that they were a little short staffed. The gentleman at the front told us it'd be a 10 minute wait... not a problem at all. Within 5 minutes we were being sat and the manager herself served us! Not only was she serving tables, but she was also taking bar guests as well and keeping up great service. So we under her recommendation, we ordered some mozzarella sticks for the table since the "wings may take a couple minutes to be absolutely perfect for you"-- what an amazing way to make light of a busy day! She took the time to be personal and talk to our family, and still run around like crazy being 8 months pregnant!
Food was 11/10, service was impeccable, and we will be returning this week before we go home!!

Food was good but service took forever..I'm talking 1.5 hrs like come on bruh we got a game to play. I'm not tryna get sick during the game. Wings slapped tho ngl but come on now, some refills would be nice.

The wings are the best, it also has a variety of tastes and flavors. I recommend them 100%

Wings were small and know difference between bone and boneless.

Wow! This place should just close. I ignored the many bad reviews and attempted to bring my family here to give it a shot. The first thing I noticed is that the parking spots were extremely narrow. My car actually was touching both side lines in the spot, not a good first impression or comfortable experience as it would be impossible to park a car next to me and open the door.
Next, we waited for 15 minutes at the host stand without being acknowledged or seated. We stared at a mostly empty restaurant, with a party of 10, and wondered why we couldn't be greeted or seated. It was interesting though that we saw employees peeking out from the back and a bartender that wouldn't make eye contact.
Unfortunately we weren't able to receive any further punishment as we decided to leave.
Be warned that the bad reviews are true!

Being run by young 20 somethings who were more interested in socializing with each other than customer service. Cursing was heard from servers. Will NOT BE BACK!

OMG! Delicious food, clean restaurant and friendly service!!

Placed a Togo order and showed up well after the time they quoted it would be ready (5 to 10min later) told 2 separate people up front the name and they both walked off. First guy came back and said it would be out in 5 minutes. Second guy ignored me all together when I came back after the 5 minutes had gone by. Finaly a manager (I think) came to ask if he could check on something for me, I gave him the name and didnt see him for another 15 to 20 min. He finaly came up front to tell me that they didnt have an order for me. I went to go check for the confirmation email and we see that our order had been canceled with no reason given. It seems like they realized that they had the order and had not made it so they just canceled it all after 30+ min of wasting my time. Really pathetic handling of the situation and the staff just could not care less. Dont come here expecting great service

Food was good although service was bad. Wrong/missing orders for about half our party of 14.

Restaurant empty. Sat 20 min with no service. We left. Now we know why it was empty. Sad!

Wings were good, but service was bad. We were ignored after the food was dropped off. Place was busy, maybe they need more servers.

Poor service. Hostess had no personality and took too long to acknowledge us. It was hot, with no AC on in June.

The service was terrible, we waited on our food forever and had to to track our waitress down to bring us our appetizer. To go food would be ok but would not recommend sitting down!

My wife and I stopped for dinner here couple days ago. Seems like a good place, decent options on the menu, including few cocktails. We ordered a portion of onion ring and Fajita Fiesta wrap along with water melon margarita. The server was nice and the food came in decent time. The onion ring was crispy but too oily and salty (could be because of the southwest ranch, hard to tell) and the wrap was too salty, probably cuz of the floating soy sauce at the bottom. Margarita was good.

The service was absolutely terrible. Took 10 minutes for someone to come to our table to take a drink order and greet us. Then, both adult orders were incorrect, one of which wasn t even recognized by the server as incorrect. Waited 15 minutes for corrected food. Never once did the server ask if the food was okay after serving it.

We have been to other WWC and liked them but the Hilton Head WWC was awful. The food was just okay but the services was Horrible. At first we thought the service was just slow because the restaurant was busy...but when tables were empty and when we did not have drinks after 15 minutes we should have taken the hint and left. But my kids were hungry. Live and learn.

Tonight I dined in with my daughter and we had the most wonderful experience ever! First off, the server Caroline was fantastic! She kept a close eye on us to make sure we were never needing anything, but not enough to become overbearing. Second, the manager Matt was always making rounds after each course was set in front of us and checked on how we like everything! He also gave me a "private " tour of the restaurant and told me some of the history! His personality alone was enough to give a 5 start review being in the door for 2 minutes. I had the atomic wings and they are to die for!!! So everything from the food to the service was impeccable and as a local I cant wait to bring more family and friends back here!

The manager was amazing! The food was on point. This was the best place we could have found to have a good time in Hilton Head.

Website says open till 12 AM. At 6 PM, the place was locked up, lights off. Not a happy camper after walking from our resort in 50 degree temp.

Service was ridiculously slow! Ordered some kids meals and they took an hour to arrive, server did not bring silverware after several requests or refill drinks. I asked to talk to the manager who had no apologies but did take some money off our bill, which took an additional 30 minutes to arrive. Never again.

Good food, bad service. Not enough staff to handle the crowds on Saturday Night. Took close to 3 hours for everything.

Service was great. Food was good. We were there all afternoon watching football. Bartender checked on us every couple of minutes. Definitely the place to go for football and food. Will go back when I'm in Hilton Head area again.

We walked in around 10PM, stood at the hostess stand for 10-15 minutes, never even had someone look at us. So we left, thinking they closed at 10. Then I called, and they don t close their kitchen until midnight. So we walked in, and went to the bar side, since there was no one willing to sit us.
We literally sit at the bar top for over 30 minutes without anyone even speaking to us, offering a drink or anything.

Good music and service. Wings are much smaller and house salad is not as good as it used to be.

Service was ok...food definitely went down hill. Wings were dry and way overdone...that's why we go there in the first place...the Wings! Not good! Sorry!

No one had a mask on and it was 50 min wait on food in a half empty restaurant

My family and I were on Hilton Head Island, for my little brothers graduation. We went to Wild Wing Cafe, had the worst experience you could imagine. We ordered bar drinks and cokes, the drinks took 20 minutes to even come to the table including or cokes. We order wings and fries. The food took 1hr to come out, and when we did get our food the food was cold . And it was not the way we asked for the food to be prepared. The manager was rube and not professional. He came to the table a few times and ever time we tried to tell him what was wrong he would cut us off and walk away.

Good lemonade and I never seen live band karaoke. Definitely a good memory

4/5 when 5 is an over and above. Rather pleasant experience and deliciousness is on point.

Not sure why people are giving this place only 1 star. Service was fast and nice. Food was great.

Hilton Head location. I ve never experienced such horrible service. I normally don t complain EVER because I feel bad for the workers but I couldn t help but light up the manager. First of all it took at least 20 minutes until our waiter even came to take our drink orders. We ordered drinks and food at the same time and then he asked for our drink order again because he forgot he already took them. Then we waited another HOUR until our food came out. When the food came out, we still didn t even have silverware so I asked these 2 different ladies that one continued to sit on their butt and the other continued to pick up 2 cups off a dirty table and not get us silverware. Then, the food wasn t even correct because the DJ music is so loud our waiter couldn t hear our correct orders. I don t mind loud music but it resulted in wrong orders. My salad came out as a wrap, my moms wings came out not boneless, and my sisters wings were not a sweet BBQ and were spicy so she didn t even eat them. The whole time we re waiting a hour for our food, we never got drink refills or a visit from our waiter and there s 3 tables by us that never got cleaned off the whole hour. There s 4 ladies at the hostess podium... 2 sitting on their butts not moving doing anything else. One lady began attempting to clean off the dirty tables and was so confused on how to even stack plates and cups that she picked up 2 cups and made a separate trip to the back, moving slower than a turtle. I m not sure how she s even getting paid to do what she does. I asked to talk to the manager and the lady didn t even get the manager. The manager did bring out the correct food finally and I took her to the side and didn t hold back. I ve never seen such terrible service in my life. None of the workers understood how to do their jobs correctly and the manager said they were dealing with all new staff you shouldn t work at a restaurant if you don t know how to check on your tables or get off your butt and clean off a few tables or get someone silverware. Finally we got our bill 2 hours after we were sat and decided to pay cash just so something wouldn t happen to our card. Luckily I wasn t even that hungry or I would have been even more mad about this entire experience. I can t even explain how horrible of an experience it was. I highly recommend nobody ever goes to this place.

Food was good and the server was also. She was very overextended, and was running to cover her tables. On holiday weekends they should add more servers.
The Manger, Carl I believe is his name, was outstanding. My Grandson has a fall outside and it was bleeding. He brought us both bandaids and ointment. I expressed my gratitude and asked if he was the manager. He said yes, as of the last 3 days.

The hostess was extremely rude and we waited an hour and a half and we got the wrong food. This is the worst resturaunt service on Hilton Head Island ever! (-5 stars)

I sat at the bar and Laura, the bartender, was great. She brought a smile and offered a beverage and menu. I got the wings: Atomic Meltdown and Red Dragon. The Atomic were very tasty and not too spicy- hot but flavorful buffalo style. The Red Dragon were a nice teriyaki with medium heat. They arrived promptly and were extra extra crispy like I ordered. Extra crispy would have been fine but after some of the reviews I saw, I didn't want to take a chance. I am a chicken wing aficionado and I am very happy I came here despite the negative reviews. The live music was very good too. I also like that they list the calorie count of the different sauces which you don't see very often. I'm impressed and I will be back.

Badd hostesses service so freaking rude it seens that they have preference they make me see that they dont like to deal wirh hispanic people so freaking sad

Fun place to get some wings. Service not so good but its a bar and the company makes up for it.

Under staffed and an overall poor experience. Half full restaurant. Manager is very nice and is wearing many hats.

The food was great on my end but once we got it we never saw the server, Deshika, again. Never got refills. My party wanted to order drinks but couldn't. We were subjected to seeing her chat up another table that consisted of a larger group. They she did everything on her power for that table but only came back to give us a bill. The atmosphere is great but the server we had was awful.

If you go to this place and are seated in Deshika's section you better pray it's a large group that looks like it will tip well because otherwise you aren't getting any service

It was "alright". In years past my family has always always always made it a mission to go to this Wild Wing as they have better food and better wings than the one in Bluffton. We have always had fantastic food in years past from this location, and it was always hard to get in the door and sit down because it was slammed.

Not this time though, we went at 6 o'clock in the middle of the week, in the middle of the season. We were one family of about six families inside. We stood at the Hostess desk 5ever, until the hostess who was standing at the bar noticed us and sat us. We were crammed into this little table up against the wall, while meanwhile we noticed several booths open. Easy fix.

The waitress was great. She kept our drinks filled, was respectful and courteous, and was very helpful.

The food was sub-par at best. We ordered a 40 platter of wings. The wings were smaller than remembered, and having only 10-12 was not very filling.
Another thing we noticed, is that they were pretty dry. The wings just didn't have a ton of sauce/seasoning on them and were pretty lackluster to be frank.

It's chicken, so its expensive, and the check said 70-80 dollars. It just felt like we were ripped off, because the wings were tiny and dry, and it just felt odd to pay 75 dollars for sub-par wings. After leaving the place, it was pretty obvious why the parking lot was empty, and why the restaurant was empty.

Very disappointed in this restaurant that we once loved.

If you are on HHI on vacation and you really want wings or cajun food, just try and wait till you get home, or go to Frankie Bones, save yourself a trip to this place. Seriously. Save yourself a trip.

Not good at all. The first time I came to wild wings the wings was hard left over wings , and last night it was the same thing . What up with that.

Was told we had a 45 min wait we waited about 10 then when we were seated it took 25 min (and we asked twice if we had a server) for a server to come he apologized and said he would take care of us even though we were not in his section. We ordered and it took an hour to get our food. The food was good but the service was horrible.

Amazing food!! Great Atmosphere and The Best Live Entertainment I've ever heard

Worst Wild wing I've been to. I walk through the door without being acknowledged. Sit down at the bar and don't even get waited on while the bar tender has a conversation with other people at the bar. Ridiculous.

We are in Hilton Head for vacation this week. We've only been here 5 days and have eaten there 3 times. The Buffarella is my husband's favorite. Moira, the manager, is amazing with a great personality. Looking forward to our next trip to HHI and see the new renovations.

Slow service, mile high nacho was only about a quarter mile, probably because of erosion from the sea of grease

Dry wings, long wait, didn't get order right. Sure didn't taste like they used too.

Ordered wings from here on vacation, the flavors we ordered were Flaming Parmesan & Gingered. The wings were not crispy somewhat under cooked in my opinion. Not enough sauce on them either. Waste of money didn t enjoy it at all.

Staff was too busy watching the football game to give service to customers. Will not be back.

Wings have excellent sauces however you need to ask for extra crispy as their idea of crispy isn't most. Also wait times for food are lengthy otherwise would have been 4 stars

Hot Mess Express

Waited an hour & a half for wings & fries!! The manager removed a dirty plate from our table and sat it on a clean table next to us. Wings were great service was the worst it could possibly be.

Food was great, drinks were great service was very lacking. We waited 20+ minutes to even get greeted. No one even cared that we sat there except the hostess who was liveley and sweet. Big let down for service Wild Wing!

Told us our table was ready by the kitchen wasn t? We waited 29 minutes longer. Food was cold. Wrong. Manager couldn t talk to us because he was whipping the kitchen into shape ??
