Had another great experience here. 5 years in a row now! Food is always amazing and beer is always cold and poured to perfection. (no I don't work here). We vacation here every year and always stop in. They never disappoint us! However we always sit at the bar where we feel like locals.

Very nice atmosphere! And amazing wings! Out of the five flavors my family tried my favorite two were red dragon and Cajun. The 30 piece wing was the perfect plate to share between the four of us!
We ordered pick up to bring back to our hotel and it was just not great. They forgot a salad, and the wings were supposed to be different flavors but it was like they forgot to add sauce? They were all just dry, no dipping sauces or anything. Maybe we would ve had a different experience if we had eaten at the restaurant vs. getting takeout but based on our take out experience, I wouldn t recommend.
The service is horrible. The waitresses are slow and don't care. Corporate should know tht this store is failing. We have been here for 45 minutes and still have no food.
The wings here always the best! They have the best sauces ! We had pretty awesome service also apparently they were pretty short staffed, but we seriously couldn't tell! If I was a local around here I would definitely make this my local watering hole!
My family loves this spot, but this visit was awful. The hostess was rude from the moment we walked in. It's 4th of July weekend and they had open tables but said they didn't have enough servers so it would be a 20 min wait. Once we sat, we waited over 40 min for our food. The bartender was wonderful and extremely helpful and apologetic to the lack of service. Disappointing!
Looking forward to some hot wings but should have skipped this place. Ordered boneless but received bone-in...had to remake while rest of party eating. Ordered medium but received hot. Too hungry by then to send back... Asked for extra ranch but did not receive that either... then waitress disappeared...4 empty glasses on the table, not what you want while eating hot wings...had to grab another waitress to get refills. All this just to screw up our check & overcharge us...tired of typing at this point.
If I could give this restaurant negative stats I would. The customer service at this location is horrible and the manager Christy or Christina is incompetent
So I went to eat here with my friends on Valentine s Day to have dinner. We were treated horribly. First of all our server threw our porta cups and only gave us three and we were six than he left and attended other people that came after us and did that like three times. second he came rushing to ask us for our drinks and telling us to hurry up because I m in a rush and some of us said water and than he didn t let all of us speak and assumed we all wanted water when two other people didn t. Third he toke forever to get us our order and was leaving us for last but when he came to take our order he was still rushing us to hurry up then he started asking us and one of my friends said to skip her because she wasn t sure yet so then he said in a bothered way I can t do this rn I ll come back when you re ready . Fourth of all he than took forever again to come and take our order and when he did he was still trying to rush us, keep in mind people are leaving that came in after us. Fifth of all when they brought us our food it was cold. I am very disappointed on how they treated us & how they think just cause they see teenagers they can treat them differently, but We are customers just like everyone else and should be treated the same. Just because we are teens also doesn t mean that we didn t have a tip we did, but the fact that we were treated horribly we didn t tip him.
No offense, this place sucks. They have the potential of being good, bur the service is horrible at best and the food is moderate. Don t come with a party over 4. The leadership is virtually non existent.
This was the worst.... bad service, bad food..... We were there for an hour and a half and the place wasn't busy. Our wings came out naked, had to send them back for the 3 flavors we ordered. Our friend, who had ordered naked wings, had finished her meal when we received them! It took forever to get our check. We won't be back.
Waited 15 minutes to be seated so we finally seated ourselves, after 10 minutes we had to stop a waitress and ask if we could get some service! Terrible place to eat, the tables are always sticky and overall the place looks dirty and run down. I do not recommend this place at all.
The best live band restaurant parties and more. The food was prefect and hot and steamy. Parking is a plus, there s plenty of space. Within walking distance from the beach and tons of hotels. The facility was clean as well as the restroom. The restaurant is large enough for parties of 20 plus.
Stopped in late on a Sunday evening and experienced great service at the bar. Great selection of domestic and local taps. I even enjoyed a flight of local brews and was not disappointed.
Wouldn't go back. Seats were horrible. The waitress was not attentive. I requested the food come out when it was ready, it came out together and 3 out of 5 plates were cold. Bad experience, won't go back there.
Make you feel right at home . The food here is ... ( also ) ... wonderful and my specialty is : " Double grilled cheese beef sandwich with harshbrown !!! "
Hilton Head location. Chicken tenders were overcooked. Over one dollar per wing for dry small wings. Pretzel bites were stale and all the Salt was off from being so old.
Very nice bar area with multiple large screen TVs. Very cool watching Monday night football with UFC reruns right next to it. Very good beer selection and the wings are really good. I think I the sriracha which caused me to inhale 2 pints of Damn Yankee IPA
Reasons for 1 star: The wait was quoted as 30 minutes and it was closer to 60. As seen in the pictures, there were plenty of open tables. Still, we gave them the benefit of the doubt.
The bartender took 20 minutes to make our drinks. By the time we sat, the kids were starving. We ordered their food and our drinks. And that was easily another 20 minutes.
We had 8 people in our party. We're ok with not getting our dishes together, but the food arrived sporatically. The kids had already ran off to play outside once all their food arrived an hour or so later. Note: we ordered several items on the menu that were either out of stock or "no longer available". But, we weren't told until after the food started arriving.
And just when we thought the experience was over, we had to fix the checks. Yes, we had split the check into 2, but we had ordered on "check 1" and "check 2". How hard could that be? Then, she charged us for the kids drinks (came with their meals) and their side items (also came with the meals). It took another 30 to straighten this out.
We recognize that this is a tourist area, but this is beyond that. Feel free to try it. The food is good. But you've been warned.
I loved them so much I went back the next day before I left for Michigan and got a 30 piece I'll definitely be back next time I come best wings I had besides my mom's killing wing spot
We usually enjoy this place. Our service wasn t the best this last visit. We arrived at 4:45 and stood at the hostess stand for 5-7 minutes before anyone seated us. It was not busy. We got our drinks and appetizer pretty quickly after being seated. However, our food took over 35 minutes. A table that arrived after us actually got their food first. When you have a hungry child, waiting that long doesn t work out well.
I live in Augusta, Ga. I go to that Wild Wings about twice a month there. I was vacationing in Hilton Head with my sons thinking I couldn't go wrong here thinking how different could this Wild Wings be from Augusta's. Well I found out when they brought our food out. Our meals looked like as we had ordered them from the kids menu. The lack of food was ridiculous. $50.00 for 3 meals no alcohol. Needless to say we all left hungry and had to grab a pizza from across the street.
Placed a "to go" order at the bar. Came back about 15 minutes later. Bartender FORGOT to enter the order. Waited another 20 minutes for order....30 wings and some chicken tenders. When we got home we discovered the tenders were spicy HOT, not plain as we had ordered. Will not return. At the bar we explained situation to manager. "Sorry".
Beyond disappointed with this location. Been going to the one in Chesapeake, VA for years and have always liked that one. The young lady at the front the desk here in Hilton Head was beyond rude. We had a group of 10 and asked simply for two tables of 5....easy ask and something we have done for 9 meals down in Hilton Head over last week. The young lady at the front shut us down immediately with a SERIOUS attitude and refused to accommodate two separate tables. Unbelievable and a shame that an employee would act that way to customers. Will never step foot in a Wild Wings Cafe here at Hilton Head or back in Virginia.
Watched a party of 12 leave because they were tired of waiting at hostess stand for 20 minutes. Watched a table of four wait 15 minutes for menus and another 10 minutes for drink's. Needless to say they left.
Glad my wife and I sat at the bar because we were not forgotten.
If you can not operate your business efficiently during off season you should not be open at all.
Sad to hear the staff say they are closing early tonight.
You have been in business a long time. Take your head out of your a$$.
I love chicken wings! We don't have a Wild Wing Cafe in the Baltimore, MD area so when I travel south we try to stop at one. This year because of COVID-19 we ordered takeout. I enjoy the size of the wings and the large variety of homemade flavors. I miss the wing buffet and eating in restaurants. I hope it returns one day.
Came to Hilton Head on family vacation during the COVID-19 mess and just stumbled upon this place. Absolutely wonderful people and great food. Kelly was absolutely amazing! She is the new management there and treated us really well! 10/10 Recommend!
Horrible experience. Food took forever to come out. Service was beyond slow and the place was NOT packed. Have been coming to this restaurant since 1998 and fund it sad to see the status that it has fallen to.
The food was great. The service was very bad. The hostess was rude and our waitress was terrible. We had to ask for refills more than once and the food took forever!! When we finally got finished it took forever to get our checks and pay. We are not drinkers so I think they didn't really care if we were happy or not. No recommend if you have children and are really hungry.
We've been coming to HHI since 88 and have been a frequent patron since its inception...this year(6/16/2019) was very disappointing...seated within 15 minutes took over an hour to get food...the wrong drink was brought to our table twice, didn't get the food order correct and when asked to correct it, brought the wrong food again, our server informed us we had to wait for silverware to be cleaned, and when we finally received our bill, it was not charged properly nor was the other couple's bill at our table and lastly, when we were trying to pay(which seemed like an eternity to get the bill to the table) the server brought back the original receipt, omitting the receipt that needs a signature, causing us another lengthy wait!! .needless to say it took FOREVER!..just extremely poor service last night and it was very disappointing.....it's obvious they have changed personnel, however they need more training, the hostess couldn't understand my English and I couldn't understand her language....
We were very disappointed. Hilton head location. There were maybe three other tables there and we waited 20 minutes for our drinks and then they weren t correct. Then the food took another 40 mins. Its wings and salads , it shouldn t take that long . There were several people doing nothing and did not even see a manager. We wont vist this establishment again. Do not recommend
Going down hill fast. This is the 3rd year in a row that we have had a negative experience... 3 strikes tour out. This used to be our favorite place on the island. We would always come multiple times a week, but not anymore. The place was not busy and multiple tables open. Bar is slow and they were out of glasses for my beer. I had to wait for them to be cleaned and then they put cold beer into the warm glass... When we 1st arrived, the manager appeared to be sending a waitress home because she might have been high or on drugs of some sort... She was trying to explain her side of the story right in fromfof customers. Theroom temperature is HOT... AC must be broken. The food was painfully slow. The manager eventually came over and I told him how bad this place is. He appologapoand acted like he did not understand how things were this bad. I informed him that he will be out of work and on food stamps soon if he he didn't get this fixed, as I see know way that this restaurant can remain open. Sad...
I am sorry to say that I think it was the worst restaurant experience I can remember. Waitresses were not interested in waiting on us but we finally approached a waiter who accommodated us and took our order. Took forever to get the food. Will never return.
1st night we went service sucked i will be honest , the waitress turned her attitude around and was decent .. We come every year , But our bartender last Thursday was beyond amazing ! She was very tentative and had conversation with us making it a very fun night ! I wish i could remember her name !
When we vacation in Myrtle, Wild Wings is our favorite place! We usually visit multiple times. So, when we visited HH for the 1st time, we were pleasantly surprised that there is one here, too. It was our first stop for dinner! However, we were terribly disappointed with our visit!! After being seated right away...and getting our drink order in, we waited and waited to place our order. Then after ordering our dinners, we waited well over an hour for our food. The waitress failed to even check on us more than once during that wait. Having children with us..and after waiting at least an hour, I asked if their food was done first could we she bring it out. Her reply was it was not done...she wasn't even the least bit apologetic for the delay or helpful. We had actually contemplated telling her to forget it, we were leaving..but it was after 9 p.m...and we didnt know where else to go. It was one of the worst dining experiences we've ever had! Granted the food was good...but not worth the aggravation of such poor service and such a ridiculously long wait for food. It was 10 p.m. by the time we left. Such a shame to have this experience...because this has been one of our favorite restaurants! While the restaurant remains on our must visit list in Myrtle, I dont know if we will ever return to the establishment here on Hilton Head again!
This place is a tradition that needs to end. Service is awful if you are lucky enough to get seated. We've been going for over ten years because it is just in the vacation vernacular and every time the food is sub par. Tonight, we weren't seated for over 45 minutes because they received multiple carry out orders. Funny how these order caused the staff to not bus tables or really care about the large group of people waiting. Hopefully this will be the final trip and we will get wings at any of the other superior restaurants.
I ordered on the phone, the food was decent, but the problem I had was I never got fries with both of my orders. So I overpaid for 10 tenders which was $35. I don t understand how you forget to put fires in with it. I am not from the island but when I do come back I will not be back at this place for sure.
We where waiting on our food for hours and then when we asked about it they said that our order had already came out.So the other people with us ate cold food that night. And the gift card the gave us only for the one we where at and we only go 1 a year.
If you're into waiting 20 minutes for drinks (which were only 2 waters, and 4 kids drinks), waiting 15 more minutes for your appetizer that you ordered with your drinks, then getting the wrong appetizer, waiting 15 more minutes for the right appetizer, then asking 3 different employees for appetizer plates that should have came with your appetizer, waiting 25 more minutes for your entrees (which you also ordered about an hour ago with your drinks and appetizer ), only to get what looked like the first edition of microwavable dinners, and then have to wait 30 more minutes for your bill and dessert that you ordered to go, this place is perfect! One good thing is that it wasn't packed for a Sunday evening. .....I guess that should have sent up a red flag!
