It s a little run down and WAY overpriced. Can t bring food or drink in. Don t try. They check.
Have a solid Meeting spot and make sure kids stay together- it gets crazy on hot days.

If you are allergic to bees or wasps - Be Warned they are everywhere and are pushy.

The warm golden glow of the wave pool, the acrid scent of chlorine and deep fat fried "food", the searing heat of the blacktop under your feet, miles of lines...it's an all-encompassing the experience of Wild Waves. Ride attractions are horrifically understaffed, barely maintained or out of order. The water attractions are crowded, filthy, and have more unposted rules than city hall. The "food" is all expensive, unhealthy garbage.
This place needs desperately to scale up staffing, capacity, and especially signage...it seems like the regulars have some sort of untapped tribal knowledge of the ins-and-outs...For example, the locker rental is the most obtuse experience, which could be fixed with a few well-placed signs explaining how to work them.
The least crowded part of the park (rides) has a few well-run attractions, the rest are just filler and are ill-maintained.

Fun place to go with the family. Gets a bit expensive if you're just going once, but you can get season passes for a good price. When we went, one of the best rides was down all day and another broke when I was just about to get on. The 4 person water slide has a conveyor belt that carries the tube up for you which is really nice. Overall we had a great time here.

Water slide lines are long and rides are slow. Employees and management alike do not understand the basics of customer service. While my kids love coming here, the experience is almost frustrating.

For this being the Seattle area i wish we had better or more than just Wild Waves. But we have to make do with what we have. There are 2 ok roller coaster rides. I recommend i the i-5 scream or whatever its called not the eagle one where you sit.
The swiming there is not that good. They dont have any area you can dive off of but only jump off. The slides arent that great its kind of small and extremely packed especially on the 2 weeks of 90-80 degrew weather that we have all year. It rains here so much so I guess it makes sence to not invest in an area that you can only swim 2 1/2 months at most out of the year. At Halloweem time they are ok, less people and they get an a for effort decking up the place. Same goes for xmas time but its too cold to take your kids unless its the very start of December. Ive got season passes the last 2 years bit wonr be renewing this year. I love rollercoasters but i feel my daughter and i have had our fill here.

Essentially quite similar to most fairs in the ride department but there is a fun wooden coaster and a launch or drop tower ride. The water park side can be fun when lines aren't ridiculously long. I actively haven't been for a few years but went often for many years. It's the best amusement park, theme park ha, we've got but if you're able to get to Idaho, like an hour from spokane, silverwood theme park is worthy of the term and as good as places you'll find in southern California. Wild waves is however great if you get a season pass at the cheapest prices and it seems to be mostly a locals hangout or works best as such as I've heard of great disappointment from tourists that were expecting a solid amusement park and not a locals playground. Lol. They do try but even when they were part of the six flags family they were a low tier amusement park. The previous being said they were higher tier before that but six flags did bring a few new rides that they desperately needed but also removed some of the charm...such as the croquet course...I'm sure I'm not the only one that treated it like mini golf but that was something unique and different and was included with admission; if such a thing existed today it'd cost extra and I think for a while they had mini golf in its place that they charged extra for

Fun for the whole family ages 6 to adult. Would have been a little better if my youngest was an inch taller so that he could ride on nearly all the rides. We were limited by what he wasn't able to do only being 47inches tall.

i used to love this place so much. now, they added a fast pass system which is ruining my love for it. you have the option of getting a regular ticket which is usually 20 dollars online, but now they added a fast pass ticket which is more then $55. it gives those people the chance to go first on every ride, leaving the people who didn t pay an extra 30-40 bucks wait for 90 min each ride. i had a terrible experience tonight because for rides like timber axe, i waited for almost 2 hours because people with fast passes who had just come to the ride went in first, so for a long time my friends and i stood in the same spot for 30 minutes each time until we left the ride with disappointment. i hope they get rid of the fast pass system so that my whole group doesn t spend 5 hours at the park and only getting to go on 4 rides that whole time.

It took me two days to figure out how to edit my review. But they deserve five stars not sure why I have for so I fixed it. Great place to come with your kids it's local for us and we have a lot of fun.

A good place to take the kids. Make sure you get there right as an opens and plan to spend the whole day there, because there is lots to do. Many water slides to choose from, and there's also the amusement park rides to enjoy later on. The lines can get hectic depending on the day that you go on. Usually it is the midweek where the lines are the least. The lines are better though when they first open up and later on in the day. This is both for the water slides and the amusement park. Make sure you do your homework to go get your tickets. While buying them online is cheaper, I found a deal on Groupon that was $20 less for four tickets then getting them at the actual website. So make sure you do your homework. I believe Costco still sells tickets as well at a reduced rate. I would suggest to take a lunch in a cooler if you are driving your car. This is the best bet. You can go in and out of the park as you wish and many people/families will be having picnics in the parking lot. This is the best way to feed your hungry family, because the prices for food is very expensive.

Had an awesome time here! The Wave is a great place to hang out and ride slides and swim in its pools. Its brand new and everything is so clean! The staff there are very informative and really nice! They are always busy helping people, giving tours, and answering the many questions other guest have. Prices are great, but wished they had a season pass. They should also play music throughout the park too, I think that would be a nice touch! 5 stars!

It was super fun but the employees were super rude and tried telling me that I couldnt even get in the water with my infant and tried tell another family that they couldnt get in the lazy river before I had to go get a manager. The manager helped us out after and corrected the issues. The employees need work on their costumer service other then that its a super fun place to take the family.

Considering I've lived behind wildwaves for most of my life, I feel I have a bias opinion. For anyone that isn't able to go everyday of every year its pretty cool. But for WA's only amusement park, I am far from amused

Went to fright fest oct 20 2018. Waited in lines upon lines. Stood in line for 3 hrs for the haunted house. Most rides we're broken so that didn't help. Buy your tickets online to save time.

I have loved WIld Waves since we moved here 15 years ago. However this last visit something happened that disturbed me so much I am not sure if I am going to take my kids back. While at the Congo River, a child had fallen out of her inner tube. The lifeguard had not noticed a she struggled to make it to the wall. When I tried to point her out to him - it turns out he has a limited knowledge of English! He could not understand me!

I finally had to stand next to her on the walkway and get ANOTHER lifeguard to help her out as I could not reach her. This really bothered me. If you cannot speak english do you really belong in a job that lives are at risk?

Horrible experience! Most of the rides were down and we were turned away from a ride because they were "giving it a rest." Got trapped on the timberaxe and had to wait about 10 minutes for maintenance and didn't even get to ride it after standing in line. We stood in line for 25 minutes to ride the paratrooper and didn't get to ride it because we had an odd amount of people (not the park's fault but they should have a better solution for these situations). We got there early and only went on 2 rides the whole time because of standing in lines and getting turned away half the time. I bought chicken strips and fries for my kids and the chicken was speckled with black burnt pieces, obvious sign of a fryer in need of cleaning. This is the worst experience I've ever had. For what they charge for parking, admission, concessions and lockers, they should easily to maintain the park. The park is fairly small and barely worth the prices even when everything is operational.

I have loved the wild waves since I was a child. We would drive up with a car full from Portland to the spend the whole day playing at the closest water park. I have many great memories. I am sad to say that things have changed and wild waves does not hold that high regard for me anymore. My husband and I had decided to take our daughter for her 8th bday this year. We had a group of 12 that caravaned up from Portland. We were having a great time until my husband broken his 2 front teeth being catapulted at the bottom of the Konga slides. It happened in instant. And he was flat on his face with a fat lip and busted teeth. Wild waves has liability insurance for these situations and yet they don't want to be liable. My daughter's memorable birthday turned out to be a horrid memory and has cost us thousands of dollars. The dentist were unable to save the teeth and he needs implants. It has been a horrid experience and wild waves has turned out to not to be the stand up decent company I thought they were.

Nice selection of rides, both wet and dry. We rented a cabana, which came with rental tubes, a bottle of water, and lunch. That definitely made the crowds more bearable. Unfortunately there is very little relief from the Sun in the Cabana for most of the day as they face South. My gluten-free meal was lettuce because we couldn't confirm that the chicken was gluten free. That was disappointing.

We had a great time. Went on a monday, partly cloudy, at openening time, and it wasn't overly crowded. Plenty to do for the 6 year old and 13 year olds that came. Bathroom detail could improve.

We went to Fright Fest and had a great time. Some of the lines were pretty long, but not unreasonable. The staff was excellent and so patient. One of the kids got really scared in the haunted house and the staff helped get her out and were so nice about it.

I personally will never visit again. The grounds were dirty. Long lines for everything. 7 rides closed in the beginning of summer?!? Food was waaay over priced and we waited for an hour in line just to order. And when we got to the front to order they were out of 2 of the 7 food options... after $20 a person plus $12 to park and $90 for lunch for a family of 7. I'm non plused..... only have it one star because negative numbers aren't available....

Great great fun! In my son's words "it was EPIC!" The water park side is the best of course, and it gets more crowded with longer wait lines as the afternoon arrives. If you plan on staying primarily on this side it's better to get a locker by the slides rather than right inside the entrance, that'll save you a lot of walking back and forth. Also, be prepared to climb a LOT of stairs!! Thrill side was fun and practically no lines in the hottest part of the afternoon. Overall, it was EASY to spend the entire day there.

Fun and reasonably priced, great deal on a season pass! Kids rides, more daring ones, lots of slides and a fun kids area, wave pool and lazy river. Food not worth it- I suggest a picnic in the parking lot (outside food not allowed in)

Have gone twice now! Awesome!!! The timberhawk, Klondike gold rusher, Wild thing, lumberjack falls... (Well sorta...) it's a lot of fun... Although I will say some of the employees are jack As sometimes. The waterpark was fun... I mean... I liked the rides better but the waterpark was fun. Honestly though... I wish they would get a drop tower there... Even if it is just a small one (Frog hopper does not count.)

We came on a not crowded day and had a mixed experience. There was a tube jam on Konga River and the life guard would not assist us. Requiring guests who are flustered and irritated to clear those out seems like poor customer service. Customer service in general was not as good as I remember it from a few years ago. With short lines we were able to have fun, though.

Went on New year's Eve and they were short staffed. Everyone working was friendly especially since they were so short staffed. It was disappointing though because so few rides were open.

The park could use some updating. Many of the old rides make terrible sounds of metal grinding and motors fighting to keep running. Some rides were closed for maintenance issues but would resume minutes later. The roller coaster had to be serviced halfway threw our ride when it suddenly stopped on the track not in the place it is supposed to . One of the water slides had a steady stream of water trickling out of one of the seams.
There is a sign in the water park side stating the bathroom and showers have been remodeled. Unfortunately, I used the restroom by the big wooden roller coaster and it is disgusting. The floor between the first two stalls looks like it s sinking and was filled with mud and when I sat down the toilet sunk a couple of inches into the depression I almost panicked thinking I was going to go threw the floor. There were so many seagulls due to trash can not being emptied out in the parking lot.

The park is so overpriced without using a discount. I can not stress this enough to anybody planning a trip to wild waves. Either buy your tickets online THREE DAYS ahead of time or research where you can buy discount tickets. We went after 4pm so it was half priced. Thank you Wild Waves for offering half price after 4!
We went on Fourth of July and I wanted to put this in the review because we were nervous this could be a very busy day with long lines and nowhere to sit down and I found only one review of a family visiting on the 4th and I had to trust just that one experience. Great day to go. No lines at all. We rode some rides over and over again. We were able to go on every ride we wanted still having shown up so late in the day.

Half of the riders were closed but we paid full price 125$ for 3 person. Everything is over priced, vending machines most of them don't work and the 1 that was working was out of everything except 1 drink orange soda.

Always a fun place to go! Unfortunately the season passes really don't mean too much when you still have to stand in long lines. Other amusement parks allow season pass holders to skip the wait, wild waves needs to step it up for the season pass holders. We're spending a lot so make it worth it. The food is ridiculously over priced. $4 for a can soda?
