Great place but in morning Woman in office eats a lot of the food for guest and talks and flirts with the man at the desk, in front of everyone, two days in a row. She looks like his daughter but don't seems like that. House keeping is very good and nice.

The staff are pretty nice, and theirs a large selection for break fest however the waffle machine wasn't working! For some reason me and the rest of my team got split up me being on the third floor and ten being on the firth however the over experience was great!

The hotel was convenient for frequent visits to and from Parliament. There is a mall close by, places to eat and ample parking. We had the ground floor which had a backdoor entrance, perfect for anyone who needs a wheelchair accessible entrance. The rooms are clean, and have enough room for the stated number of occupants.

Had a small issue one of the nights we were staying. The manager was amazing and not only made sure we felt comfortable, but upgraded our room as well. Great service, clean rooms, comfy beds!

Room was very clean, Breakfast was OK. The bed was super comfortable. The free parking and wifi is really a plus. The only reason I'm giving them 4 stars is because they had and ongoing promotion of 2 nights and a third night at half price and even thought I extended my stay for a third night they chose not to apply the promotion arguing that I had reservations, which was totally not cool and greedy.

Rooms are big, bright and clean. However, the wifi is slow, the dining room is small as it doubles as the reception area (weird), and there is a coffee machine in the bathroom LOL. By no means is it worth $129 a night

Nice welcome from the employees. The beds are very comfortable, the rooms are equipped with a mini fridge and a microwave oven which can be practical. Efficient Wi-Fi. Otherwise, slight unpleasant smell in the room and the lunch leaves something to be desired.

Average hotel best for short stays. Close to the St Laurent mall, restaurants, and public transit. There are few outlets in the room, so be prepared if you re planning on charging multiple devices.

Absolutely awful dirty place. Try opening the drapes and it's a dust cloud of filth in the air. Breakfast is great if you like cold cereal and fighting for the bottom of the juices containers with other guests desperately to check out for real food.

I'd only recommend this pithole for my ex inlaws visiting Ottawa. Trust me, spend $10+ more and go anywhere else other than this place.

Room clean and staff friendly. Looks like they are going to start some renos. They could seriously use some updates. The main entrance is locked at night and we had to wait and call the hotel in order to get back I the building. If the attendant is away there should be a buzzer or something. No paying customer should feel locked out.

Close to the highway, 10min from the Rideau Centre. A good place if you just need the space and aren't interested in paying for the best, fanciest, or prettiest building. I would give 3.5 stars if I could.

So we got in and the front desk guy tells me that they are sold out then we went online and booked it and went back to the guy he tells us that 10% of the online bookings are confirmed online and if we got the confirmation (that he hasn't even checked ) he will give us a room. He got our reservation gave us the room. Like come on man just tell me to book online and I will get it.

Morning breakfast was not the greatest ended up going to Tim's.

I gave the cards back to the guy in front desks and he says that I need to pay a sum of 14.10$ for extra person that we already paid online.

Showed receipt and says oh my mistake
If I didn't know I would have paid an extra fee

All I am saying is pay attention and book it online for no rejection

I am going to list few things to work on although I gave 5 stars rating.
But i have to mention that the rooms are super clean. The beds are comfy and the staff is wonderful. Free wifi and good breakfast
The location is great and I really recommend it.
Things that upset me a little bit.
- the entrance was locked at night and needed to buzz someone to open it for me
- no outlet near my bed. Had to leave my phone away to charge it
- no hot or cold water on breakfast buffet ( the lady helped me and filled my cup in the kitchen to make some tea)
- vending machine on second floor was not working. Only the one in basement (thanks for not highjacking the prices. It means a lot to costumers)
- the shower have no curtains or sliding door. So water was dripping out.

You pay for what you get and for the price I attained on Expedia for this hotel for one night while travelling on business, it exceeded my expectation.
Clean Rooms, hot showers, comfy bed, microwave in room with mini bar fridge. The only negatives i would state are a very reserved continental breakfast and the exercise room is very small. It has a treadmill, bench, sufficient arm/free weights, yoga mat, exercise ball and universal machine but the room is the size of a small child's bedroom, two people max.

Got pretty good deal on the room booked for night stay. Good thing is complementary breakfast and free parking and wifi. Rooms were neat and clean and very good air conditioning. All toilet accessories were provided.

No pool (for the same rate that Holiday Inn charges with one). WiFi that is SO BAD that Mennonites would lodge here guilt-free. A kitschy 70 s chic that leaves a grubby aftertaste an an ornery check-in person who has clearly checked out. She used her hook to slide a form my way, growling, Fill this out. No please. And I need to pay your hotel so that I do paperwork? Maybe the word hospitality escapes. One also gets the feeling that a black light held over the off-white sheets might reveal a Jackson Pollock-esque masterpiece. Ugh.

We stayed at this hotel due to the fact it was recommended by the tournament our schools basketball team was in.
Although the manager was helpful when we called to make special arrangements for check in, the rest of the dealings we had where less pleasant.
We checked in at 10.30 pm the Friday night. At 12.30pm after going out to our car the room key stopped working. Three trips downstairs to the front desk to get keys recoded later the front desk clerk finally came up and let us in with a master key at after 1 am. He them told us to go to the front desk in the morning to get it figured out. Which at this point was probably a good thing because we were all very frustrated.

The next morning while everyone was trying to have breakfast (food was mostly gone at 8.30 am even though breakfast goes until 10am) I tried to get the key use fixed. I was told that there must be a problem with the lock (huh no Really???) and since we had one key for three people that they won't give us more keys incase the only key that worked stopped working. Not sure why the lock wasn't fixed and new keys issued. But by now we are short on time and need to get to the next game.

We got back to the hotel later that afternoon and my impression didn't get any better. The phone in our room didn't work, the fan in the bathroom didn't work and the temperature control didn't actually control the temperature. After the first shower the humidity in the room was horrible due to no exhaust fan. The hair dryer kept falling out of the socket because it was so worn, one of us had to hold the plug in in order for it to work.

My husband was thrilled when the TV went out in the middle of the ALCS game. When the maintenance man arrived to fix it, he said the plug was loose and fallen out of the wall. He plugged it in, looked at the fan but didn't fix it or the phone.

We also had to call the front desk at 12.30 that night because there was another team on our floor and the partying was so loud in the hallway no one could sleep.

Breakfast at 7 am the next morning wasn't any better. Really when you know there is a bunch of teams staying wouldn't you make sure that everything is ready and there is enough food to do everyone?

When I checked out and gave my list of complaints I was offered a discount (which I took) but I would have much rather have had my issues handled so we were at least comfortable while we stayed there.

We won't be back and after talking to the rest of the team members who also had issues none of us will be back. One member actually complained to the tournament board so I don't imagine that this hotel will be booked by them again.

Really quiet environment and clean place , also near to St. Laurent Mall approximately a 6min walk. Smoke- free and animal-free as well. With an acceptable free breakfast. I booked a queen bed they gave me (two beds) instead but was too tired to even ask why . Not bad
Only if they included shuttles to the airport!

No complaints about the room. I was disappointed to find the coffee machine, with supplies and cups, stored on the counter in the bathroom. There was ample space on the desk, the long dresser, and the table in the room, but they chose the bathroom for some reason.

Check in seemed quite unorganized. The room was clean and comfortable and the shower was great. There was a complementary breakfast that was basic but good. I was not aware of any pool, hot tub or gym and always appreciate a hotel with those facilities.
