Location was excellent, rooms were clean, service was great

It is as expected. No frills just a clean place to sleep.

Cheap rates but kinda lousy service, but still a great location. The beds are really comfy, had a good night's rest... Don't even bother with breakfast there go elsewhere.

WelcomINNS is a small hotel located close to the St Laurent Shopping Centre in Ottawa, Ontario. One of several small hotels in the area, there is not much by way of scenery but WelcomeINNS is pet friendly and breakfast is included in the rental price. Reservation fees are average and the hotel caters primarily to those looking for a place to stay while on business in Ottawa.

Not very clean. Very limited options for breakfast.

Location for us was close to home, room comfortable and quiet, service great. Did lose a hat there that was never found but not a big deal. We will have stayed at least 3 nights. Breakfast very good.

Conviently close to a mall and transportation hip including the new LRT station.

Everything worked out well. Staff very friendly and helpful when we had an issue with our room.

Clean rooms, good service. Location good for taxi to downtown

The rooms were clean. Location is not that far from downtown Ottawa. The receptionist was a little bit standoffish but I cared more about the room and they were nice.

Friendly staff.
I think of the place as a high end Motel. Not hotel quality.
Rooms are clean but carpet is gross.
Beds are comfy but not pillows.
Bathroom is outdated, there's mold between tiles but it's spacious.
Thermostat is recent enough but A/C not very powerful. Room smelled like it had not been ventilated in a while.
TV is really tiny. I have 4 tv screens home + 1 at the cottage and none of them are that small...
Overall it's a 1-night sleep over type place with clean enough rooms, nothing fancy. Price should be below the $100 mark. Not worth $116+tx.

Amazing rooms and so clean

Although the WelcomINNS Ottawa was close to the highway, it was difficult to get to the location. The rooms were nice, with comfortable beds and a nice washroom. Despite the nice room, the continental breakfast was lacking, consisting of only hard boiled eggs and bagels.

Pros: friendly staff. Free breakfast. Free internet. Clean room. Cons: finishings in rooms were average. Overall positive stay.

The price was right, but that's about all. The room has very few electrical outlets, in order to plug in my computer, I had to unplug the tv! The continental breakfast is sparse aND stale. The "business centre" isn't connected to the Internet!

Hits the marks for economy lodging. Clean quiet rooms. Fridge & microwave. Walking distance to several restaurants. Close proximity to 417. Free breakfast and friendly staff.

No air circulation in the halls. In October they have cool air circulating in the hall. Hotels hosts school trips, kids can be very noisy

Nice city hotel with amazing front desk staff. Who went out of his way to make my stay comfortable. Great job am sorry I foegt your name. But its very convenient and clean place.

Clean room, close to the shopping mall and transitway

The place is not bad! But the hotel pretty dirty and the room are pretty small than I expected! The Wi-Fi is poor and the elevator was dangerous, we put ground 1 but it bring us down to the basement! The washroom not good and the hot water not so nice, but they have coffee maker and hair dryer. It will good to stay overnight but not a good place to enjoy with cheap price your stay

Very nice hotel and a fairly decent price in Ottawa.

Large room with 2 King size beds, great bathroom and air conditioning. Breakfast weak.

I don't agree with some of the dislikes. This was a great comfy room with a nice big walk in shower. The Continental breakfast was fine. Very clean, fast wifi. I've had lessor rooms in brand name motels

Clean, comfortable and budget friendly Inn. Next door to Lone Star and right across the street from St. Laurent Shopping Mall.
I've stayed many times and will stay more.
Additionally, the water pressure is fantastic!
