Great location in Gatineau, within walking distance of the Byward Market, and great service 24/7

The hotel, physical, as such, is fine.

But the hotel insinuates itself into Google as a terminal virus. I do not understand how it could have happened, but a calendar entry that I did not allow was inserted, creating reminders at disturbing hours. That's apart from follow-up emails, etc.

But, the worst is the lack of empathy of staff when I asked how we could address the problem.

Very nice home. Following a cancellation they offered us a room even better located. Room very nice and spacious. The hotel is well located: right in front of the museum and 20min walk from the city center

The room was clean and the beds where very comfortable. The toilet was a bit dirty and the coffee was awful along with the tea. Other than that, I had a very enjoyable stay here.

I was here for a conference then stayed a few days extra.. Basically it was a great location. The hop on off bus stopped across the street in from of the Museum of History. The restaurant has very good food and is reasonably priced. I traveled with a friend so we had 2 beds. Mine was firm and we found out a few days later that hers was soft and cosy. One thing to be aware of is that printing your boarding passes is quite difficult. The computers will not print without saving the pass first. I did not care that my personal information was on their system.

Good location in the city, among other things, its almost opposite the beautiful ethnographic museum that explains very well the history and life of pre-Columbian native peoples of Canada, including Inuit. Overall I found the hotel comfortable in the various services offered and there I was happy.

Great choice with the newly renovated rooms. Much cheaper than options just across the river (especially if you're driving) but almost just as easy to get to places.

All staff we interacted with were fine, but there was a slight aloofness present. Can't comment on the quality of the restaurants or other food options.

Pretty good views of parliament hill from some of the rooms (although a factory does obstruct some of it.

In terms of cons, rooms are a bit on the small side, but were impeccably maintained.

I always choose to have good prices and facilities.

Friendly staff and clean, comfortable rooms. They have a nice pool as well. Conveniently located and we usually walk to capital hill for the sound and light show with our 6 and 8 year olds.

Clean, good service. Coffee in the room is bad and the cafe almost burned me by opening it between two cafes. Lack of safety deposit box and TV works badly but everything else is good. Well located

Showed up at 3 pm for check in and waited an hour to get my room... Looked like alot of others were waiting aswell... Room is good but service is horrible will not return.

Great hotel and great employees and helping. Only downside they do not do that pay per view children are a bit disappointed not to be able to do room service and a movie without advertising but the rest is great!

I've always liked this hotel. It's comfortable and well maintained and the staff always been friendly. Once I needed a razor and shaving cream I went in there without even being a guest and they just gave it to me. Can't recommend this hotel enough. That said the bar prices can be a little high.

This hotel has the biggest flatscreen tv I've ever had in a room!

Room was very nice. TV was a little annoying to work, but I only watched about 10 minutes of it, so it didn't matter. One of the better hotels I have been to.

Great location! Right across the street from the museums. Very friendly front desk staff. Room was clean. Pillows were so flat (even the ones sent when we asked for firmer pillows). So the sleep wasn't great.
The breakfast buffet is very nice. Simple dishes. and great staff.
Lunch & dinner menus were limited and closed early. . So ended up ordering from nearby places

Nice hotel, good price, amazing view, bathrooms could be updated.

The location is good. Easy to get to from the highway. The signage was a little hard to see, but otherwise no problems. The room was great, but I found some things on the floor - a few Bobby pins and a raisin - but the staff were very sorry and very helpful. They sent someone up right away to vaccuum and gave me a free dinner and free breakfast. Very considerate of them. Other than that the room is nice and the service at the front desk and restaurant has been excellent. Walking distance to BDT an excellent brew-pub.

Well organized, always available staff for help. More bathrooms would be nice.

The hotel's ventillation was on 24/24, which was quite noisy. Beds were comfy and staff nearly always courteous ans helpful. Will be back (idealy in a different room though)

Well located. Access to museum across the street. Staff really nice and helpful. No bathtub so harder with kids. Nice interior pool.

The staff make you feel at home. They are attentive, responsive, courteous, friendly and professional. The hotel is very clean, well maintained and has all the essential amenities. It is minutes away from downtown Ottawa and has a great view of the Ottawa River and Parliament buildings.

I highly recommend this Hotel.

I used the outdoor parking lot and the machine was not working when I left. An amazing employee of the hotel came out to help the long line of cars trying to exit during a torential rain storm. When the machine would not accept my credit card the attendant asked me to go park and pay inside. When he saw I had a sleeping baby in the car he opened the gate for me and let me pass at no charge. I was so touched and grateful for this generous man! Excellent service like this does not go unnoticed.

Good in general. Breakfast at the l Ardoise = 8/10.

The atmosphere was pleasant, however the conference room was lacking technologically. The restaurant was closed in the afternoon so we were forced to travel out for our break.

Good service overall. Decor and especially carpets are outdated/dirty. Location is hard to beat!
