This is a lovingly curated independent bookseller, one of the best in the North of England. Despite its small size, the careful and idiosyncratic selection of books means that besides the bestsellers and classics, there are some interesting and eclectic choices too. It is particularly strong in fiction and history and travel, with a solid selection of new titles. The window displays are usually a visual treat and there is a very good collection of classical and jazz CDs downstairs. It is also the main bookshop partner to the Ilkley Literature Festival.

An excellent bookshop with knowledgeable and helpful staff, stocking a wide range of books. It also provides an efficient ordering service. Usually they are able to get books by the following day.

Superb selection of newly published and classic books. Respectable children's section. Large selection of classical music CDs and sheet music in basement. Knowledgeable and courteous staff.

Great bookshop and an excellent local resource in Ilkley for anyone into books. It's a treat to walk around and browse the books, all hand chosen by the staff (who are all v. friendly). Thoroughly recommended.

I could spend hours here. It's an Ilkley institution & a sumptuous treat if you like any kind of book. Great for gifts & the staff are really helpful and will order anything they haven't got in stock.

The Grove Bookshop and Music is a little gem . An absolute find for bibliophiles like myself. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, but even more important for me they are quick to order books home and have a great sense of humour.

Also the shop it self is cosy, even 'Hyggelig' with warm colours and wooden shelves. Me likes
