Great variety, stock items other markets don't have. We drive two hours to get an item they stock.

A fantastic local grocery store! A great beer selection, top quality cuts of meat, fresh seafood and the *BEST* bratwurst/sausage in the city.

My visit was business related. I did browse around. All the staff members were very polite. Each dept (seafood, cheese and meat) had a large variety to choose from. Also had a large selection of prepared meals. Will definitely be back to shop.

The 'go to' place in Clintonville. A little pricey, but great selections of seafood, poultry, meats, deli, hot foods,,and homemade frozen meals. Great things you won't find in other stores.

I've walked into this store a couple of times to buy some drinks and snacks. I think it's one of the best liquor stores in the area, given it has a good selection and is well organized. It's very easy to find what your looking for and the stock is rotated very well, so I'm never worried about buying something stale. However, the tall manager who wears the oversized mask needs to chill out. I get COVID precautions are important, but he doesn't need to go up to every customer who's mask slips off their face while browsing, or if they adjust their mask. This has happened to me I've seen it happen to other customers while there. It's extremely off putting and I've avoided the store because of it.

Local gourmet market & liquor. Best selection of high end stuff you can't get elsewhere. Family owned and it shows. Great take out meals too.

I greatly appreciate the social distancing and protective measures taken by those who work with Weiland's during their pandemic.

Medium sized local grocery with an unremarkable selection of, well, everything you might be looking for. The freezer were they seafood is kept can be smelled from 20 feet away, the produce looks like it is past its prime and there is a small selection of stuff at the meat counter. A whole section of pre-made frozen items seems to be their thing - assuming you like microwaved food. The attached liquor store has an unusually large selection of mixers.

If you want high quality food at reasonable prices, especially if you are looking for local, this is the place to go. And if that wasn't enough, they have the best liquor selection in the city from my view. Anything you want, especially if it's hard to find, is here. And the customer service is exceptional. Five stars.

Weiland's is really worth checking out for a dozen different reasons ranging from unique and ethnic foods, local products, meat, wine and liquor and more, as well as ordinary groceries.

Weiland's is a multicultural shop that seems to specialize in fine wines, cheeses, delis, and more! I've only been here twice and I love to visit. My fiance comes here specifically for Le Village's sparkling pink lemonade since he can't find it at most places. I like the premade salads and the tea selection. You're guaranteed to find something you've never heard of before so it's fun to try something new each time you visit. The only downfalls are the location is kinda awkward to get to from the road and the parking lot is cramped. Also, the layout of the store can be a bit congested now due to the social distancing guidelines. Other than, I definitely recommend coming here to check out the cool selections!

I spoke with the manager of the meat department Daniel. I have to say his knowledge as well as his overall understanding of the department is top of the line . If you haven t been here go. You won t be disappointed.

I moved back to Clintonville after 4 years downtown specifically to be close to Weiland's. OK, not really, but I'm usually there 3-4 times each week. Weiland's pre-made, fresh meals provide me with healthy (sometimes :)) and delicious (always) options on nights when I don't have the stamina to cook for myself after a long day at work.

We love Weilands, and my family has been coming here for years and years. However, my experience here is sullied by one cashier everytime. I do not want to say her name in this review but unfortunately I have never had a good experience with this cashier. Everyone is happy, helpful and it is truly a wonderful experience, right before checkout. I can only hope that Weiland's continues to have good business during the pandemic.

Very attentive and helpful staff. I waited less than a minute at the deli counter, I went to the newest counter and was immediately helped, less than 5 minutes wait at checkout! Love this place!

I come in and every time I'm disappointed by their selection of everything but meat, wine, and spirits.

I love Weilands. Bread is one of the main reasons I choose to go to Weilands. I prefer their house baked breads to all other grocery stores in the area. It's not somewhere that I would do all of my grocery shopping. They have a smaller selection than most larger grocery stores and are higher priced than normal on some things like mayonnaise. That being said, they are my go to grocery store when I just need stuff for dinner. They have a small liquor store with a nice selection of beer, wine, mixers, and even some rotating draughts. The seafood counter has a lot of variety although it can be pricey. They have an excellent meat and deli counter as well. The freezer section is rather small but that doesn't bother me much. The store is a perfect size for a quick shopping trip. The employees are always extremely friendly as well.

Their deli is amazing, their butcher shop and meat counter has some of the best cuts. The seafood dept has every thing , oh and wines and cheeses they have everything ! Cant rave enough (wow)

I was very tired yesterday when I decided we needed something good to eat for dinner. i did not have the energy to fix anything. I chose to go to Weiland's on Indianola Ave. They have the best prepared foods. My grief sets in when I am most tired. While walking around the store my walk was slow and bend over. A tear or two was always coming from my eyes. I got my food and headed to the checkout. A dear older women was waiting for me. She looked at me and say " Oh my dear, you are not feeling well" I said no and that was all it took for me to start sobbing. The lady came from the around the checkout and came to me and put her arms around me. I told her my son had been killed by a hit and run driver and that they have not found the driver. Before I knew what was happening, four other people came over and laid their hands upon me. They all began to speak to be and offer words of comfort. The entire check out area was in dead silence. The older lady held my head and looked at me face to face. She began to pray. The others stood in silence. She ended her prayer. The others again offer caring words. I finished my check out and the lady told me to come any time if I needed comfort. I have always loved to shop at Weiland's. Now they rate high on God's list too.

So much fun to walk around and look at all their goods. I wish I lived closer!

This place is known for their fancy, expensive meats. The wine selection is outstanding, and wine tastings are reasonably priced on Friday evenings, plus Saturday and Sunday afternoons. But they do not have even a wheel chair for disabled people. That is absolutely, totally unacceptable. How would it kill them to buy a used wheel chair for $50!

Only place in town for good spirits, fine wine and beer, and the best deli, meat counter, and hot food bar.

The liquor selection is as great as the grocery selection. Also - great pre-made foods from the deli area at fairly reasonable prices.

Always a pleasure shopping at weilands. It doesn't bother me as you must wear a mask at weilands. Take care

Great market. We typically visit Hills market and whole foods when in cbus. Decided to try Weiland's today. Fabulous grocery. We're from chillicothe which doesn't have any good grocery stores so we typically travel to cbus, dayton or cinti to stock up. We will def hit weilands again. Craft beer, spirits and wine section was fabulous.

Had a bad experience. Staff was not friendly, in fact Annie cashier was testy to say the least. Definitely over priced. I think Weiland Market has a certain type of customer they serve or prefer to serve. I will take my money to Walmart.

First-rate cheese and meat departments. Also nice holding of good Scotch.

I'd heard great things about Weiland's, but I just don't think I'm in the target demographic. Beer and wine selection is good, but I don't drink much of either. I do drink hard ciders, but the cider selection was VERY skimpy. As for the liquors, there wasn't much that you won't find at Kroger, or any other state liquor agency.

Everything seemed very fresh, but it was also WAY pricier. I know, that's the price you pay these days to live healthy, but I thought many of the costs were absurd. If I lived closer, or if we had a much more disposable income, I could see giving this place a shot, but I can't see making a 20 minute drive here, especially when there are other alternatives much closer to us.

To each their own, I guess.

Weiland s is wonderful. Each section has a variety of brands that you may not find in other stores. There are many Ohio brands available from near and far. And, of course, there is the meat department which is one of the anchors of Weiland s. There is also a liquor store next to the grocery store.

Weiland's Market never fails to impress me with the quality of their meat and cheese. But keep this in mind, it is a GOURMET grocery story so the prices are a little high. Well worth it though.

Everybody in the store was friendly and helpful. The prices are comparable to the main stream stores. They have free popcorn and lemonade for kids can't go wrong with that.

Lovely and delicious: wine tasting, house made sausages, specialty cheeses, imported limoncello and local produce, everything you want in one place.

Weiland's is a great local market with a good selection of local foods and beverages, but the place thrives because of it's amazing customer service. Back around Valentine's day, I had ordered a seafood dinner to be cooked for my wife and I. When I arrived to pick it up, the owner informed me that they had forgotten to prepare it. She took ownership of the situation and offered to correct it by delivering it to my house personally instead of making me wait in the store. That's the kind of service that goes way above my expectations.

First time there everybody's extremely friendly helpful and helpful. I think it's a little on the expensive side but they do have some different things which is a nice variety. I wouldn't shop there all the time but I would go back for something special.

This is a very unique store oh, I went to pick up meat for a client of mine and it was ready and marked with a price and was able to check out immediately and it was a very nice experience pretty centrally located and plenty of parking

I went to get some prepared foods when I did not have time to prepare a meal. As I skimmed around I realized the selection was slim and the prices were high. I became even more disappointed when I went home and made the three prepared meals I got for myself and my children and they were worse than a stouffers meal! Literally, it tasted like I was eating mush-flavorless and unfortunately, just gross. I will likely never go back, which is sad beacause it is conveniently located.

Hope others had a better experience.

No customer service skills.

My card declined because of suspicious activity. I asked him to try again. He didn t want to do it at first. The second time declined again, I was confused and I said to myself wow, how s that possible? as I reached for my phone to call the bank. He said you re asking ME how s that possible? How would I know I m not your bank in a very rude manner. I had cash also but I was so disgusted with his response that I got in my car and took my money elsewhere.

Tip: If you go there, you should already know what you want and don t ask for help.

Great gourmet market with awesome beer, wine, and spirits selection

Nice deli, produce, and wine staff. Very friendly and helpful and superb customer service. Good selections. It s worth a try. Pricey, but it is a specialty store. They special order my ginger wine which is delicious! I wish they d just carry it again. I don t know much about meat, but after doing a little research this store carries some of the freshest and safest. I got deli meats and cheeses and chicken and beef livers. I don t eat a lot of meat, but when I do, and when I m entertaining, I ll go here.
