Excellent wine selection! State store on premises, too. Weiland's also has lots of beautifully prepared, fresh & delicious to-go meals and sandwiches. I was blown away by how many types of kombucha they carry here...just about any flavor you can think of. Really nice, small neighborhood market.

I buy steak from this place all the time. It's a bit on the pricy side, but they have the best steak I've been able to find in this area. Asside from steak I've been extremely happy with everything else that I've gotten from this place, especially their pretzel buns.

Best market and best liquor store around Columbus. Wide range of wines available. The staff were very polite and helped me more thoroughly than I have experienced. You won't be disappointed coming here.

Very disappointed with my visit to Weiland's today and it was all because of one man in the hot food section. Everyone there is friendly and talkative and we'll go out of their way 2 help you with anything you need but I found the one man whose job it is to make you miserable. I was treated very poorly and felt offended for even being served by him! I hope it never happens again because I will definitely go back, but I hope I never have to deal with him again!

Awesome selection of brews and deli meat. The only place I found with cut to order prosciutto for wrapping my Thanksgiving turkey, which, by the way, you should do. Often have draft available to taste, drink, or fill your growler.

Best place to buy fresh meat and seafood in the city for sure. They also have a phenomenal selection of gourmet foods, great cheeses, and a liquor store on site with great beers. Also, if you like wine... Weilands has you covered. Trust me.

Great local grocery with lots of local options many hard to find items, and a great, friendly staff. A real treasure - I always find something new when I come here.

I m the type of reviewer where something has to be either terrible or wonderful to motivate me to write a review. In this case it s the latter. I ve shopped at Weilands since I was a little girl and the store was located farther north on Indianola. This place, just wow. Their prices are higher than a giant grocery but there is a reason for that - the products and service they provide are worthy are unique and worthy of that cost. Their prepared food is exceptional, I highly recommend the smoked wings and chicken salad. Their deli is the best in the city. I ll make a trip just for the Wilson hard salami. But then also the people. Half the deli staff knows my daughters name, they make a point to say hello and are always friendly, and did I mention they have free warm popcorn on the weekends? And lemonade and coffee/hot cocoa depending on the season. It s a genuinely enjoyable experience shopping here. I m so thankful this gem has remained a neighborhood stable. I will continue to support them.

ANYONE who gives this place less than 5 stars needs to have their head examined. I fear that people that who feel like food is too expensive or people who choose to only shop for "deals" are the most idiotic food shoppers. Your buying deals most of the time for two reasons, overstock or the stuff is about to go bad. Buy something fresh for once like Weilands. Spend a little more, you only live once and you would rather save 16 cents a lb on a burger? Same person who gets gas 12 miles from their home to save 5 cents a gallon..I mean come on , go out and work and grind to make an extra dime to afford the good stuff, you only live once. anyone who gave less than 5 stars, does not have a palate and needs to go back to somewhere where they can get their stouffers on demand on a pallet. People should be ashamed of themselves, realize they are cheap and work harder in life like most of us so we can enjoy awesome things. Sounds like people that have too much time on their hands to fuss over nothing but the fact that they are too frugal for their own good. When it comes time to spend money on quality, the whole experience is botched for you scrubs. NOT because a store has select, distinctive and sophistication, but yet its because some consumers are mad the the store does not conform to their needs. The latter people are the JOKE of society, not B/c of the reviews you made , but in life. Good luck numb skulls.

Deli has a great selection of meats and cheeses. The prepared food section cooler can't be beat for a quick take-home dinner. Friday nights they have prime rib and Saturday and Sunday is Smoked Meats.

This used to be my go to lunch spot, before I switched jobs. Their prepared meals were $5-6, freshly made, and delicious. I particularly liked the Italian wrap and the reuben wrap. They have a great selection of desserts and chocolate too. As a specialty grocer, you can count on local options, high end brands, and unique choices. My other favorite part is the cheese selection, as it's highly curated. It may be a bit more $$$ than Kroger or Giant Eagle, but you get the value in the quality of ingredients and assortment.

Very busy & for good reason: they have a beautifully eclectic selection of foods, not just for the holidays but every day! They have the best fresh meats in the city, IMO. Picked up filets for our Christmas dinner, had them last year & they were PHENOMENAL Full of memories from visiting with my German BFF who left us in 2015. She is always with me in spirit when I visit Weilands. Go there. Try them for your routine grocery shopping. You'll be hooked!

Amazing customer service. Fantastic selection of British and European foods

Well now I know where to get good live sauerkraut not too expensive. The store has nice products and personal service although a little pricey. But tee sauerkraut is about half the price of raisin rack or whole foods. I like the place. Great looking fresh seafood!

Went there yesterday after having not been in about 5 years. Staff was ever-present and helpful. Picked up the Floridian bi-color sweet corn in the front bins and had it last night for dinner. I can't remember the last time I had such delicious sweet corn...I had to write about it. I'm not used to having excellent anything (produce-wise) from Florida, this corn was truly exceptional. The beef from the deli was also tasty and they are one of the few places in town that carry Dogfish Head's 60 minute IPA, which is my husband's favorite beer. A great father's day thanks to Weiland's.

Customer service is absent. I don t spend much time there and was looking for a few items which I couldn t fine. Asked for help and got a finger point. Still couldn t find when I was looking for so picked up a few things and headed to the checkout. There are signs posted up in restaurants and businesses all over the country reminding customers to be nice to the staff. The same should apply from the staff to the customers. Politely asked for double bags and then asked sharply by a very frustrated cashier, who probably isn t very happy with their job, why? It will hold. By the time I reached my vehicle one bag already had a tear. Didn t think it was that much to ask but was treated like I was trying to get some thing for free. Weilands has made my decision very easy to not spend my money there. Based on their prices it will be a choice well made.

Between the wide variety of specialty items, pre-made/prepared selections, deli counter, their skilled and high quality butchers and fish mongers, extensive beer and wine selection, AND the well stocked liquor department, the only thing better than all of the fantastic choices and options in the store, is their friendly and helpful staff! Not to mention how knowledgeable their staff is.

Weiland's is our first choice for anything of quality.

Always a pleasant stop. I mostly shop here for the alcohol - has always been one of the best spots for craft beer in the city and also has a great spirits selection. I can find more higher end scotch here than almost anywhere else in town.

They also have excellent produce and meat selection.

I agree with Lisa. The special things that made Weiland's a special store are disappearing and it seems to have started with the new management. I still shop there for a few items, but I no longer enjoy the shopping experience. Now the hot soup is gone behind the counter. Don't you just love paying full price for a serving of lima beans and beef broth (aka beef vegetable by Weilands)? I could write on and on and on about the things I miss, but it's all too sad for me. It was our first time shopping at this store so it was an adventure. They have a wonderful selection of cheese - foreign, domestic and Ohio made. Amazing array of prepared meals...something for everyone. They have a separate liquor department with a large variety of beers. It's too far from our home to be a regular shopping spot but we definitely will make an occasional trip over to Weiland's.

This is the best local grocery for produce, seafood, and beer selection by far. They source their produce from both local farmers and also nationally for things that don't grow locally--but you can absolutely get produce here that you won't find elsewhere. The seafood is hands down the best seafood QUALITY and selection you can find in Columbus, and I take seafood very seriously. Their meat selection is actually great, even though we typically use a local butcher, I have eaten beef, pork, chicken, and turkey from their case and have been very happy with everything. Their Holiday pre-order food system is AMAZING. Thanksgiving was a breeze as well as Christmas using them. Their beer selection is absolutely one of the best in town, and they know their stuff. The wine selection is also very good. Craving your favorite mustard from France... they actually have it. Jennifer (the owner) is also a wonderful person if you get a chance to meet her (she'll also bag groceries on busy days). This place is worth a trip.

I haven't been to Weilands in some time. I finally found a store that has Scrapple! (I bought three packages as both of my girls also love Scrapple). Weilands is a must see store if you have had the opportunity. Specialty meats, groceries, extended wine selection, premade Sammie's, a lot of premade foods. Produce section, deli, baked goods etc. This is the place to go if you're looking for something different or to grab a quick bite. I k ow I'll be going more often to get my Jones Scrapple fix! Located in North Columbus on Indianola Ave, south of Morse Rd.

The service is great. If you're interested in something they do not have, they'll try their best to get it for you.

This grocery store is one of the longest-running establishments in Columbus, for a reason. They have a very fine selection, their staff is ALWAYS friendly and their coffee is amazing! Thank you!

Prices are a little high but so worth it. The food is amazing and the portions are not small.

Their food and service are always top-notch. My partner loves the bakery, and I love the quality of the meats, cheeses, wines, and spices! Weiland's was also really great about helping me with a messed up Instacart delivery, even though the issue wasn't their fault.

We love the excellent seafood and meat selection Weiland's offers each week. Our family enjoys and looks forward to the apparent expertise offered by Jay Barnes. . .great crab cakes!

I love this place, they've got booze, a fantastic meat selection and enough veggies to make a hippy swoon. Free coffee at the front too and delicious pre-made sandwiches for lunch. Mmmmm!

Love it! Grab a beer in the back and drink it while grocery shopping. Also, they sell liquor here, which is rare in Clintonville

Crowded parking. Lots of different varieties of meats. Picked up turtle and alligator meat.

Weiland's is a little ways away from the hustle and bustle of High St., but it's a great place to find unique and high end products. It's a little pricey, but you get what you pay for!
