Extremely fun place for 90's night! It's great as they usually have all the floors open later on in the night with different sorts of music. Prices on drinks also tend to change at a certain time point and on special events.

There is something about this space I dislike intensely. The sound isn't great, they oversell shows, and I have just never had a good time there, even when seeing bands I really like. The layout is awkward and the general vibe is bad.

Come one come all! Line up for an invasive security search before paying a 35 dollar cover charge to drink 8 dollar beers from small plastic cups while listening to a DJ (downstairs) stop the beat for 10 seconds then play a totally different tempo song for 30 seconds before switching again! Female? Get molested! Need the bathroom? Swim in urine! Thirsty? Get a better job! The dance/circus show was boring. For 35 bucks I want flames shooting out of anuses. You can get cirque du soleil tickets for the price of coming here and having 2 beers. Insane. Dischetto's DJ work upstairs was excellent, and the only reason I didn't rate this dump 1 star. That started at midnight and was the only redeeming thing about the place. Every time I left my girlfriend and her sister alone they were groped. Every single time. Like they were watching and waiting for me to leave. The place is full of creeps. For the money it would cost you to come here and have a few drinks there are thousands of better things you could do in this city. Maybe 10's of thousands. One of them is sitting on the toilet eating ice cream by yourself. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

1990's Webster Hall was outrageous! Sorry you guys missed it, different rooms with different sounds, one room Reggae, another Disco, another House the main floor was Club music with stage dancer with a python, floor dancer on stilts and much, much more. To bad, so sad the reviews are not very kind for it now, also back then the main floor could have a band and the other rooms continued to cater to different music and was able to move around the entire building for whatever taste of sound you felt like at the moment. DJ's always fabulous

This is one of the last surviving cool Music Venues left in New York City. Let's hope it stays there for a long time. We've lost way to many already. They also have the best Halloween Party Costume Party !!!!!

I saw 12th Planet play with a few other electronic Djs. The atmosphere with these types of shows is always phenomenal. Webster Hall's three level venue allowed for extreme raging. Highly suggest you check it out.

It's a giant ripoff and their only concern is sucking you dry. They even try to give you some stupid excuse that they can refuse to serve you tap water and charge $6 for a bottle of water when it is against the New York City regulations which state that if a patron specifically asks for City water then that request must be met. Locals avoid this place so only tourists are feeding the machine. Just stay away if you can. They treat their costumers like little children and without any respect. If you want to be violated, listen to terrible music, and just have as much fun as watching grass grow I would highly recommend Webster hall. Visiting Webster hall just for being in NYC may be something a tourist would do but you're fooling yourself into thinking you're getting the NYC experience, it would be the equivalent of us going to times square. Worthless superficial crap.

One of the few clubs in NYC that doesn't enforce the barricade rule, if you're into stage diving, etc. The main floor for concerts is a decent sized room. Can get a bit crowded, so secure a spot early on or before the band you're there to see sets up to go on. One bar in the room as the main stage, so that's another spot you need to secure before it gets overcrowded if you want drinks. Prices can be a bit high at times, so be weary of that as well.

$8 for a bag check? Is that a freaking joke?? Unbelievable greed. Just let people enjoy their night and don't ruin it by unreasonable charges. Especially when you can't even have soap in the restrooms.

This is a meh club experience. If you do go, you should attend post a concert there because you get free entry. There is a lot of generic club vibe here and the young men are rather grabby and pushy, so if you just want to go somewhere to just dance this will do, but not very well.

I've been to a lot of these converted theaters that host rock shows now, from Edinburgh Scotland to San Francisco. This is a good one. Nice staff and facilities. Knuckle Puck rocked. Head North is going to be big.

This place is awesome. The DJ's there are good. They play a lot of techno music. The bass is pumping. It's $20 to get in $6 coat check. I recommend this place if you want to go out and have fun.

Great bands and shows come through here and while the prices are high (aren't they always at venues) the question remains of what was this built for? Because it never feels like performance art or music was the original intention (bizarre layout).

The concert was awesome, we enjoyed Corinne Bailey Rae unfortunately they had technical difficulties with the sound system and had to wait for over an hour before her show started. But when it did....great show.

I can't count the times I've been here for different events and concerts. The venue is great! Perfect size, nice dance floors. Here is a picture of when I saw Crystal Castles here. One of my favorite concerts I've been to. I'm glad Alice is doing solo music now. Anyhow haven't been here since the renovation, but I'm sure it's amazing.

One of the better clubs in NYC. Great 3 floor set up. Always look online for tickets, normally you can see great artists playing here for about $20. Bar is expensive, but on par with New York night life.

This place is legendary and i have been coming here for over 20 years. The setup is very Theater like on the first floor with 40ft ceilings and a good sized stage while the other levels are more clubish. The vibe seems better on Saturdays then on Fridays. Good have come back after being away for a while

Bringing in some major headliners, this is a prime spot to see a show. It's got a good laser and light show for the electronica too. Downstairs they sometimes have variety shows that are well worth attending. Don't put anything down in the winter, definitely opt for coat check. Things get stolen here all the time. Also, ladies out there go in a group or bring a guy. The fellas can get a little gropy...

One of the many small venues around the Village. Great spot to see a band in a small intimate place.

The Studio downstairs is smaller and more cozy than the main hall.

Some shows can get a bit out of control but mostly safe.

This place is A horrible place to be. yesterday a few security guards harmed the performer, when all he intended to do was protect a fan. The performer was beaten and thrown to the ground kicked multiple times. Absoulty not a place to be!

Webster Hall is a classic music venue. It provides a very intimate space upstairs in the main concert hall, with a nice balcony for VIP guests. The acoustics in this space are incredible, I d recommend ear plugs for people with sensitive ears or prolonged exposure to loud noise. If you re in the center of the pit, get ready for some moderate ground shaking!

The staff at WH was all very friendly and welcoming. Webster Hall has a great atmosphere with nicely decorated rooms all throughout. There are two bars, which offer a somewhat pricey array of beverages, but it is somewhat expected. The bathrooms are extremely clean, plus they have an attendant.

I purchased a ticket for a 10pm show, got an email confirming my 10pm show, and printed a ticket that said 10pm. I arrived at the venue only to discover the show was at 1am. This tidbit of information was not displayed anywhere on their website. Additionally, their site lists show and door times seperatly for each event, and this specific event was listed as "Doors/Show: 10pm". Can't really get more specific than that. Because of this I was unable to actually see the people I paid to see, as people in my group were planning on leaving around 3am, which would have left enough time to see an opener or two. Additionally, their advertised "4 floors of sound" was really 2 floors, as "The Studio" was closed for unknown reasons and the balcony is reserved for VIP only. The event I had intended to attend was going to be in the Grand Ballroom, but that was actually occupied by another show until 11pm. The entire ballroom reeked of weed and the floor was stickier than a glue-trap. Seriously disappointed and I wish I could get a refund.

I went to a concert here with my boyfriend. I have a out of state license (Pennsylvania). The security guards kept telling me my license was fake. The "head" security gaurd kept bending my license to see if it was fake... The dumbass permently left a bent mark on it. Never again will I set my foot in that disgusting place.
