The Worst Nightclub in NYC,Bad Djs, and the employees are unprofessionals.

Good midsize venue. The amount of bathrooms they have is shockingly few.

Had no Problems with the bouncers, but what i would like to mention is that while hosting a huge Event on all 5 floors, there was literally no band-schedule hanging anywhere. Everybody was asking each other when the next band will Play on a floor and which band it is.

Old dancing club perfect for Halloween haunted house party

One of the best concert venues in New York because they truly customize the experience to each artist and bring in the best acts. The entire place is newly renovated and easy to navigate. I'm tall, so I don't mind the standing room only, but I have seen shorter people get annoyed when they have to jockey for space to see the stage. Will be going back soon!

I've only been a handful of times and always for private events. The space transforms really well, all the while remaining well managed and clean overall. It's a nightclub so it'll always be about who you're with and no club will fix a bad night but it's a great space, well located and well lit outside. Security can be tough on some but I wouldn't judge the whole place on some unfortunate incidences.

The band we went to see was amazing, you get a real up close experience, but I honestly thought the floor was going to cave in from all the people and jumping around we were doing you can feel it moving underneath you and we all know this place is super old so hopefully they can do something about that cause I don't want to see them go. Had a blast!!!

It has gotten better since the last time. The wait at the restrooms and the mobility makes you miss a lot of songs.

Wish there were more spaces like this in NYC. Cool venue, I like the incense in the bathrooms.

Rude staff. Underage people. Over prized drinks. But always a good time.

Recently renovated, with a much needed improvement in sound. Tickets and drinks are still absurdly expensive, and the staff and security are egregiously rude and will treat you awfully, but it's still a top quality venue at the end of the day.

My home away from home. Happy that this place reopened. The renovations look great!

I love the grand ballroom at Webster hall for live gigs and have been now 5+ times. It is a great intermediate sized space and gets crowded enough for a great live music vibe. The drinks as always at gigs are pricey but not unexpectedly crazy expensive.

For concerts, the basement has decent acoustics for a small space.

The new Webster is beautiful! Relatively intimate while still allowing for a decent-sized crowd. Drinks are pretty pricey, but it's NYC! Walk down the street and find a happy hour before your show and you're set. ;)

The damn security guards PHYSICALLY assaulted Nate aka Skate Maloley. They took advantage of them being security gaurds and this is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Security tased a fan and when Skate tried to help they beat him. They did the same with Derek IG// derek_luhh Please pray for them... This place is NOT safe

Cannot manage set times, currently waiting for a show that should have started almost an hour ago with no sign of a beginning. Forcing all guests into bar area and not allowing artists to play.

One of the OG's...the city misses the fire performances, go-go dancers, and late nights across three floors.

Permanently closed as of August 2017. Im sure it will reopen under a different name with different purpose. Thank you for the damn good memories.

Recently reopened after a remodel, it was clean, sound was crisp and clear, bathrooms upstairs are well maintained by staff that appreciate a tip, loved for refreshments moved quickly even during a sold out show. Excellent experience

I went there when I was 22 years old and it wasn't a good experience. I'm 43 and all I hear is bad things about that club. Sad because its in the heart of our amazing beautiful city. It should live up 2 its expectations but it never does. Every shoot down to Don coquis! I promise u will never be disappointed!

Good concert hall. There's a guy who walks around selling beers that are cheaper than what you get at the bars.

It's Al Capone's NYC's Speakeasy. What more do you need to know. This place has secret passages to the back exit. Lived in this place when in my 20 and 30's. This is a big part of NYC history. Had other famous names like the Roxy. Concerts, clubbing Webster Hall has it all. Two thumbs up and a wiggle!

Hate the atmosphere, very expensive cover 30 dollars and full of rap music

I loved going to shows here and i absolutely loved going to the club nights im so sad its going to be different.

Absolutely excellent on Halloween but get tickets in sept because significantly cheaper. 5 floors of music, as a woman though men will grope you depending on costume or if a short dress which gets annoying but men do tell other men to stop it and the one yr I had a man come and be my protection n kept men away when a french maid costume on and he made sure I was safe. I was impressed with how there are some good guys. Staff definitely won't notice, never a issue w checking my coat. Bathroom waits long so go stand in line long before you must go and bathrooms get a but disgusting inside at times but staff tries their best and there is tipping for bathroom and coats. Bar is a nightmare on main level to get a drink and you must be a hit aggressive to get drinks

for night life!!!! you need to come at least once. My friend highly recommend me to check out this club. It's in a really old building so I wouldn't say everyone would enjoy it but it is famous. So when you wanna experience the night life the city offers, def come to the place at least once

Don't check your bags in.. costs $8 dollars. And don't forget to bin all liquids as they are not allowed in.
Other than this the place is nice with good music

A venue that simply just that; a venue. Great concerts make events an experience. You have to go at least once.

the security hurt fans and the performer. this should have never happened. they tazed an 8 year old little girl looking for her sister and many other fans. fix it now

Amazing place, had a chance to experience Noisia in 2016

I love specially the saved by the 90's parry that happens every Friday. Drinks are a little expansive but is a very nice place.

So clean and organized since reopening. Closes earlier now though

When it used to be packed back in the day (feel old saying that), the floor would shake so the renovations were definitely long overdue, just sucks to know that another gem has been lost for the culture.

Had a great time, Promise Of The Real was awesome. Hope to see them again.

Like any trashy-on-the-inside New Yorker, I frequent Webster Hall when I'm looking for a free place to dance (free before midnight if you RSVP). I've seen some incredible shows here. It's started to go downhill lately, but honestly, the service folks have always been very rude, for the most part. And they illegally charge people for water aka they will refuse to give you tap water and make you buy a bottle of water for $6. They are money hungry, I get it, it's gross, but someone should really report them for that already.

had a bad experience getting in with jukely usually its fine but today they messed it up and i was clearly claimed but wasnt on the list and i had to show my text and jukely page for her to let me in

Expensive drinks, but a good location. 2nd floor hall is pretty solid and the security/team are good people.

Free WiFi! Great historical establishment musicwise. Camera policy is mostly lax. Don't care for the bathroom attendants. Three different sized rooms to watch concerts in. Sound is good and so is the lighting. Box office is open thru the day if you're around.

I forget to put something in my jacket... you force me to pay again for coat check.. how is this customer service..how is this service to the band's that perform at your venue and generate revenue? it's called being greedy.

Didn't like the atmosphere here at all. The vibe from the staff was unsettling to say the very least. Would not rush back. Also, the chances of being mugged here seemed to be on a high level.
Never know who you will run into. On a positive note, James Hetfield was there on my visit.

Venue is nice. But be prepared for the staff to treat you like complete garbage.

Great place to see a show not commenting on the club aspect since I only come here to see bands. Bartenders are always fast and on point.

One of the best NYC venues for live music. Almost always a great atmosphere, bar service is quick and bathrooms well kept. Intimate enough you can clearly see the stage from the back of the room.

Great place for a concert. I was in the Marlin room, and it was a bit small, but a great atmosphere. Drinks are kind of expensive, but hey, it's New York. Also, never had a problem with security there, so that's pretty awesome. Check out their schedule and go to an event there for something you may like.

Nice small venue allows you to get up close to your favorite band!

Came for just to hang out with friends and get a beer or 2. We didn't know we had to pay a cover charge because it was a special event going on. Cover charge was 20 dollars just to get in. So we when for it and the drinks there super over charged 13 dollars for a beer come on. 3 stars because the bartender was super nice and friendly. Overall will never go back ever.

First impression?? AMAZINGi went to the ice nine kills show and i am HOOKED
