My experience with the NC DOJ has been excellent, especially with the Consumer Protection division, in particular Ms. Glover. She was very helpful in resolving the dispute and did what they could to get Ocwen Loan Servicing cheats to behave.

If the business you have an issue with just doesn't say anything, they get off with no problem. They will make you believe something might get done, ask you for your side of the story, maybe ask you to elaborate later, BUT, if the business just doesn't respond, they get off. THIS ORGANIZATION IS A FARCE AND DOES NOT PROVIDE PROTECTION TO AMERICANS.
North Carolina my brother was set up on a drug reversal by an informant facing 32 years in federal prison he and the police posed as drug dealers however they did not have authorization to conduct the reversal and did not have a chain of custody for any drugs they claimed to have taken out of a property control room we realized 5 years after his imprisonment started that they never charged him with the crime he is in prison for and the ADA never went to the Grand Jury for an Indictment which was confirmed through the cleck of superior court herself they Indicted him on a lesser offense which the ADA withheld and she dismissed his charges, and he was still sentenced to 17 years in prison... The officer lied to the Magistrate on the night of his arrest and to the Grand Jury and not one Judge will give him a fair hearing. Now instead of continuing to fight and disobey the law you would think they would try to correct it..
It is even worse when you try to read the map to get there. And the map isn't right. The North Carolina Department of Corrections list the dead prisoners as " Committed ". The local library has a very large accurate dictionary that you cannot take home. Find the definition as you need. A.,B.,C.,D., etc.

Hard to be transferred to the right person, usually get voicemail and no one calls back.If you do get to someone they brush you off. Protections are absolutely necessary for a decent life and we have none in NC.

I filed a complaint against Duke Energy with the DOJ . Adrienne Glover at DOJ forwarded it to the NC Utilities Commission which has done nothing for 4 months. I called Ms Glover back to discuss the situation. Her response was quite rude and her tone of voice and words implied that I had done something wrong which I hadn't. I called the Bd of Utilities and they were quite nice and are looking into it for me.

I contacted NCDOJ about a fraudulent charge from a furniture company. I had tried to resolve this with the company and the credit card company to no avail. It was not until I contacted NCDOJ and got them involved was the issue resolved. I have no idea what I would have done without their intervention. Is is great to see our government at work. I went from owing 3500 to zero balance. Thanks NCDOJ all the way!
