Webster Hall hasn't changed a bit since I was there about 15 years ago. Formerly the Ritz back in the 90's, I honestly wonder if they changed anything when it switched. It still feels like a fun house or something straight out of a club movie where the camera is supposed to be the point of view of the character who's on something. You never know which way to exit, the bathroom floor is always wet with something...you get the picture.

I recently saw Sam Sparro at Webster Hall in the Grand Ballroom which was a great space for a GA show--plenty of room to move around and dance. I'm claustrophic and GA shows scare me, but I was totally fine here. They made upstairs VIP. Love that there's a restroom right off the floor...half guys, half girls so if you have performance anxiety, good luck. Please know you're only getting a paper towel to wipes your hands if you tip.

Thumbs down for the incense cannons...what the heck? This isn't Studio 54...and y'all know what they were blowing out of them!

And when you check your coat, remember what you do with your tag! It's gonna take a while to get out of there as it is, so losing your ticket is going to slow you and everyone else down.

Their customer service was incredibly inferior to any club in New York City. There were people who were offering drugs and doing drugs at every corner. They kicked my friend out for throwing a beer when the beer was thrown at him. And when he attempted to ask the security to talk to the manager they ignored him and refused to respond to any of his questions or comments. The venue ruined he night

First time being back since it closed and it feels pretty nuch the same, except cleaner(?). They also have gender free bathrooms, now. Saw Chromeo playing with a band and the sound system was great.

Saw Mura Masa here in October 2017. The bathrooms upstairs are co-ed which is cool except as a guy, now I have a line to contend with. The crowd can be small and intimate and the bouncers are generally nice. I had a good view at the upstairs stage at all points. Will definately see another show here. Drinks were a bit pricey but not bad for NYC ($8 PBR tall boy if I recall) and water is mad expensive ($5+ for sure, I won't forget that).

Web Hall Sucks!!! I've been to this club about four times years ago!! The first three times was fine; beautiful women, nice music, pro security!! The last time I went here it was horrible; too crowded, drunk-ass people, lousy music, drug using & fights everywhere!! Clean up this damn place!!!

Staff was rude and aggressive, bathroom was a weird open area with stalls that was shared between both sexes and not only that but they were selling candy not even 10 feet away from where the stalls are and positioned looking straight at it. Called ahead because we were coming from out of town and made a day trip to new york. They said we could coat check the backpacks we had although they never told us it was 7 dollars a bag. Dont think id ever see a show here again.

I've seen some amazing bands here, and used to go to Girls & Boys every now and then. I've even been to a Moth event here. For these events, Webster Hall is fun time, although the drinks are a bit on the pricey side and more often than not taste watered down. The crowd really depends on the night/band; sometimes it runs young, or obnoxious, or just flat out chill.

I had a greaaaattt time here July 30th at the summer slaughter tour, the only complaint I had was the oveepriced EVERYTHING,
Water was 5 dollars
A small pack of gushers were 2
And alcohol was way too pricy . A small cup of some vodka and soda was 11 bucks.

Worse customer service ever! This place is dirty & rip off, After buying the $35 ticket i stepped out for a second and when i came back the staff threatened me that i cant go back out again and try to come back. This place truly needs more professionals than some dropped out high school hipsters. I definitely don't recommend this place if your visiting New York, West Village has way more better places definitely more professional service than this dirty hell hole!! This place is more for broke high school kids looking to party who gets drunk from outdoors and causes a huge scene in the club, althought they have high security but all these gaurds are overweighted dull pigs who just wants to get paid for doing nothing.

The venue is designed for very tall people. Which I am not. If you want to see anything you need to stand right in front or on balcony which is usually VIP for concerts. Being that is my personal problem :) the place is great. Wheelchair accessible, great drinks and security is tight. Ps. In this photo the MGMT manager gave my daughter VIP tickets and was a fabulous time.

Here for a PJ Morton concert. The door opened at 7 and at 6.30 the line was all the way on 12th street. The drinks were pricey but the amount of alcohol to mixer was good. Sound system was really nice! The staff was efficient and the crowd was chill. Only downside was that it was all standing - no options for seating unless handicapped. There was an elevator from the front door to the concert level. Bathrooms were clean - I went in early though.

I am a native New Yorker and will keep to the directness of how we are known to be :)

Drinks: Good.
Space: This is a world renowned multi-level club and music venue. The main floor is very open and spacious floor layout and is where music performances occur. The downstairs is smaller :) The upstairs is another large dance floor. Each night has it's separate theme and each room spins different music.
Scene: Packed with 18+, Tourists, Eurotrash, Hipsters, & whoever else wants to pay at least $30 to get in.
Crowd: 18-30s Club. Pick-up scene. Single scene.
Service: Bouncers are ok, bartenders are quick.

Grimy but great! This maze of lights and sounds is one of the oldest music halls in New York City. From hosting Germans during the late 1800s, who discussed workers rights, to the biggest names in the electronic music landscape, Webster Hall has it all. Enjoy different floors of music and move around all night to keep things interesting.

One of the best clubs in New York. Excellent prices for alcohol. I always hang out with my friends in this club. Wonderful service. I always like to go here. In short, I recommend everyone to visit this club and check for themselves the quality of service, prices and drive that charges this club

Not my absolute favorite concert venue to see a show, but it gets the job done. It is small and when it is sold out, you are pretty much shoulder to shoulder with the rest of the crowd. Getting from the stage to the bar can be difficult while the show is going on, but the doubles they serve are not too expensive. So, you can make less trips. All in all, if a band I like performs here, I will still go.

Went here last weekend and this weekend. Last week they had problems with the visuals and this week they had problems with the sound. Drinks are expensive I wouldn t say worth it, pregame and just bring a refillable water bottle there s a water fill station on the 3rd floor. Bathrooms are clean, staff is chill if you re chill. If you wanna check your coat get there early, and get your coat 20 min before the end of the show there will be no line and you can still watch the end of the show.

Can not believe this place is still around! it was the bomb back in the day and still has some cool events and bands last I heard! A must see for folks from out of town or to go back and recall the good old days when lines formed around the block.

My favourite venue. The stage manager told me the floors were designed to flex like a suspension bridge to accomodate the type a rockin crowds they get. Beautiful stage. Excellent sound. So much respect to this place you guys.

This is a very unique venue. There are stages on the first and second floors and even though it was PACKED when I was there, I was still served quickly. The third floor features additional bar space and balcony seating so you can watch your drunk friends make fools of themselves on the dance floor. We visited as part of Santacon. Not sure if they jacked up prices for all of the drunk people, but I definitely paid about 40 bucks for two rum and Cokes. Definitely won't be my regular spot when I visit the City.

Webster Hall is a great venue for events or for a night out of dancing & partying. I've been here for both and there is a huge amount of area for either.

Dancing here on the nights I've attended the 3 separate floors inside of Webster hall offered 3 different types of music.

The staff here is good, they offer a reliable coat check and nice atmosphere.

A really great and laid back venue right next to union square. Drinks are little expensive but they sure give you alot compared to alot of other venues . Venue is definitely smaller than most but it leads to a more intamite experience with the artist. Only downside is that the venue now mostly plays only indie / rock artists now (Brooklyn steel types). Hoping they'll mix up their lineup soon

This place is horrible! Tonight the security took advantage of there power and physically asalted Skate Maloley! A security guard was hurting a fan and Skate tried to stop him. When he did 2 security guards came up and threw him to the ground! He was then tassed and kicked multiple times over his body! If you are preforming or going to a concert at Webster Hall cancel it now!!!
