Great place to have a show only Con is that the place smells like vomit at the entrance

Too expensive to walk in the door for a 100 year old venue

security are a bunch of jerk offs and the place in general wasn t like it use to be .

Check it out before they shut down in the fall. It'll be gone forever.

This place suckssssssssss very shyt staff. Over priced drinks, I saw a a guy getting frisked, and they didn't even have the courtesy to let him get rid of his weed. They threw it away. there's no place to sit, and the women in the front was rude

Great place to see bands. Lots of general admission room. Plenty of bars. Decent beer was 2 for 15 which is high however. Been there a few times great venue

This place is completely terrible.....Their security has beaten artist and fans. No to mention an 8 year old girl. The fans were brought to the ground, tazed, kicked, and hit. As were the Artists. Like come on. Hope you like law suits :)

I hope the renovations dont ruin this place, this venue was already one of the best in the city. They never should have renovated the place unless its structual repairs.

I liked Webster Hall. I enjoy music so I went there to listen to a musical group. It was to my liking, but the alcoholic drinks were fairly pricey.

Great venue, food available, multiple bars & the bathrooms were the best venue bathrooms I ve experienced in a while!

Have been here 2 times for a concert and did not like how crowded it was. I love concerts but I have my limits and being punched in the head or kicked in the head from crowd surfers was one of them. I'm also appalled at the prices of the drinks there $10 for a cup of beer is a bit ridiculous. Other than that had a great time at both shows and the staff is very rude

Beware there are a group of people that come here especially to steal phones. They don't coat check anything and never have a drink they are obviously not there to party. They target girls with cross-body bags and that aren't paying attention. I caught a guy with his hand in my bag this past Friday, dont become a victim. Every time I go here I hear or know of someone that had their phone stolen. They usually work in a team with 2 guys that stand behind the victim and 1 guy in front the 2 guys from behind bump into you and the guy infront steals it.

Great venue that is just the right size, with good sound. Not too big, not too small. Water was five bucks, which I thought was a bit steep.

Great venue to see a show, arrive early if you expect a large crowd to get a good spot. Good balcony room if you don't feel like being on the ground floor elbow to elbow.

My favorite indoor venue in the city. Plenty of vantage points, and they always bring in the best acts.

wth would security beat my baby for protecting a fan. this whole situation is messed up and I hope to god these security guards don't get hired anywhere else.

The place was well air conditioned.The bar area and bathrooms were modern, clean.

Went to see built to spill and the sound mix was terrible. This was such a great venue, and it was a bummer to experience this.

The iconic venue is back. The renovations are well done and the sound is top notch. They are partnered with AEG, so expect some great shows!

Paying for water is an automatic scam, not to mention it's $5 for the bottle of $1 water

Unfortunetly we went on a Thursday night and only the ground floor was open! Overall it was good! Girls go in for free and guys pay $35, no formal attire required!

I went with a group of people to see our friend's band play. The gig was great, and the venue would have been fine if it weren't for the management. The term 'cheapskates' comes to mind. Half way through the gig I went to the bar to get a glass of water. I had a small bottle of water placed in front of me, and was told that it would be $5! When I argued that I just wanted tap water, I was told that they don't make enough money on alcohol to justify giving away free water. Considering they charge $10 for a beer and the entry fee was $12, I can't possibly imagine how $22 wouldn't cover the cost price of a glass of tap water. When I asked to speak to the manager, I was left waiting for 10 minutes before I gave up and left. Honestly, I wont be going back as I don't want to support a venue that is so cheap that they won't even give away tap water to their paying patrons.

5 stars for the upstairs music selection. 3 stars for the club. College kids everywhere, dirty floors, nickel-and-diming attitude all around.

It's a smaller space than I imagined. With no windows (that I can recall), it feels kind of confined.

Expensive drinks (6$ for a water) so i recommend drinking before coming here, but besides that this place is great for clubbing. They have 3 floors, basement usually plays dubstep, ground floor is today's hits or 90s depending on when u go there, top floor is EDM. Admittance is free if you Rsvp before coming, even for those 19 and 20. Really good spot for concerts too.

This place is terrible and tonight's show proved it. It was a mess. The fact that security was physically and verbally assaulting not only the fans but the performers as well is just disgusting. This show was packed with young teenagers who are absolutely traumatized after this event because of the evil security. They had to watch one of their favorite performers get kicked around and beat on stage by the security because he tried to protect his fans that were also being assaulted by the security. I hope someone files a lawsuit sometime soon because what happened tonight is NOT okay.

Great place to see a show and shockingly inexpensive beer compared to most venues in NYC. Awesome time

Saw Make Them Suffer here with Spite and Enterprise Earth a couple weeks ago. Great venue! Good sound. The bathroom is very "rock venue" though.

Great space for a more intimate show. Balcony is awesome. Lots of conveniently located bars and one even broadcasts the show from the ballroom so you can sit, sip, and enjoy.

Awesome venue. One of the best in the city. Many rooms and a great place to see all kinds of music.

A great disco, with several floors that change the style of music, much like the capital theater

Amazing historic concert venue. Over 150 years old. Great acoustics and every seat feels like the front row

First time here at Webster Hall for Medasin's RIPPLS Tour, a second time for my boyfriend, and the show went above both our expectations! Great sound, amazing visuals, and friendly crowd. The check-in was a breeze with app and QR code scan, though there is a quick security pat-pat before entering. Inside the venue, the space is clean and spacious in the lounge/bar room. Our drinks are prepared nicely. It seems as though the stage room on the second level did get more condensed after the renovation. But nonetheless, it was another enjoyable time in NYC and even better to stay inside this rainy night.

Workers are helpful and friendly. The sound throughout the venue is absolutely incredible.

Santacon experience in Webster Hall was great. Party party and party. I will come back for a regular night out and see how it plays out.

Attended Women Build Women! This venue is not just a place for public events it s perfect for panels, events with musical performances, galas, conferences, etc.

Been going there for years for shows, clubbin.. Its a cool venue.. Drinks are expensive but its Webster Hall so what can I say..

Been coming to see shows at this venue since I was 15. They always have great acts performing. Excited that they're back in business and saw Halsey here last week, but $16 for a margarita? Yikes!!!

The "Saved by the 90s" show is so much fun! Coat check is slow, looong lines, expensive too... the bathrooms are disgusting... but it is a good place for dancing! :)))

The music is okay, but the crowd is a little trashy.

They had Pitbull. That made the whole thing worthwhile. Even the confusing as hell labyrinth to get upstairs.

I saw Tinariwen here. Good God that guitar was freaking loud through most of the set. I'm talking over 6db louder than the vocals. Unacceptable. However the venue and sound system were very good. The sound engineer running front of house should be fired.

Love seeing bands here. We've come back multiple times even though we live in Connecticut. Just be prepared for the overpriced drinks you'll be drinking because it's a venue.

Love. Love. Love. You can see the effort put into preserving the venues original charm. The floors have been reinforced, the stage improved and balcony redone, but walking the stairs and hallways, you do not forget what this place was built on. Good music offerings that span all generations of interest will keep this place going for another 100 years. The hanging acoustics are reminiscent of what these places used to be. The new lounge is a nice touch and reprieve when needed from the sold out shows on the main floor. Those sold out shows are a true testament to what Webster has to offer. Go see a show and be sold on it for yourself.

There's something super-slimy about Webster Hall. It could be all the bridge-and-tunnel meatbags that have been through the doors over the years? In any case, I only come here for concerts and while it's not the worst venue in New York City, it's far from the best. At least the location is convenient?

Management refuses to negotiate with local Union labor. They can afford millions on renovations but are not interested in paying a living wage to real people who make the Show happen.

Please consider another way to spend your money and SUPPORT local UNION

Very positive experience. I have been to a concert and I must say it was worth it.
Inside several bar areas. Prices a bit high, especially for us Italians (average beer $ 11), but sound quality and atmosphere ok!

Got to see Machine Head here. One of the best shows ever. Great venue with good security staff

First time visiting this location and have no complaints. Security was on point in keeping an orderly waiting line and entrance. Noticed there were two bars, but I didn't have any drinks this time, so I can't review their service...The concert was amazin!!!

Venues in the US are so strict! Webster Hall is one of the better once. And the drinks are so small, alcohol feels thinned down with water and are soooo expensive.

Awesome venue. I have only been here for a comedy show but great place. Great location and easy to get to.

Good shows but the place is a total fire trap; it takes several minutes for the crowd to exit after a show!

The stage is high enough that you can see the band that is playing from much further back from other venues.

This place hosts some great shows. I saw CocoRosie (2 times, loved it both), HIM (great show, was really able to enjoy myself), and some other random stuff (St. Patrick's day pub crawl, hiphop party...) It is a pretty spacious venue and I always manage to have fun. The drinks are a bit pricey.
What I don't like though is on some nights they definitely encompass the whole body while checking people. It was a bit uncomfortable even with a female. I understand it's protocol but, feels a bit much at times.

This place is horrible I would honestly give it zero stars if i could this place has no respect for artists or fans. Nate Maloley (skate) got attacked by security when he tried to help a fan.Fans,his crew and him were getting tazed and attacked by the security.Im so disgusted by their actions they have not right to attack underage fans or the performers.The fact that there was so much security there but they were all attacking not a single one of them tried helping Nate or the fans.Nate was just laying on the ground defenseless cause he was being kicked around and tazed and when a fan tried going on stage to help Nate she got tazed and fell from the stage. This place deserves to be closed

Can t believe this place is still around. Brings back some great memories.

Must be the day I went. But the upper level's dubstep/trance music was just plain irritating. The second level had a live band and they were okay. Playing some 90s classics. The basement level had some pretty good hip hop going on. But was way too crowded. And it needs more light.

Charging a designated driver $5 for a bottle of water? Yea that's a great gesture guys... ridiculous. You should encourage and support responsible people who care about their's and others safety.

Have been coming here for years! Love what they did with the renovation. They different genres of music set up on their many floors. Have made many memories here and look forward to making many more.

Been there clubbing it's lit the guys are a lil too touchy feely but I don't pay them no mind also been there for a Travis garland concert it was super lit people was smoking weed,drinking and having a great time and the artist was here for it
