Nice small modern Airport with polite smiling officers. It is simple airport as it is a international airport of capital city of a country. Then use your Grab application for transportation to the city, either car, bike or tuktuk. If you use airport transport it cost four - five times than Grab price.

Actually very impressed by the airport. Waited quite a long time in the queue to check in for my flight to Siam Reap but the customs officers were all really friendly. One of them even petted my bear.

Good experience in Phnom Penh from start to finish. Will definitely visit again!

Horrific staff. Attention it is impossible to stay in the airport at night during a stopover because the airport closes its doors.

Terminal building being upgraded at medium fast pace. Long way to go Cambodia. Beautiful new Info Counter soon to be opened. Hope they match it with good service. I have high hopes for this place.

Nice and clean airport with friendly and efficient staff. I had very good experience with Visa on arrival process as well as during checking in.
The airport area is covered with English signages and it's extremely easy to get around.

It is enough for an international airport and seems good for cambodia s current demand. How ever it is lacking some facilities.

Cleaner s attitude was so terrible. After I washed my hands and the water just dropped out of the basin before I can be able to walk to the hand dryer. she yelled and shouted there and I was so shocked and frightened as I didn t understand their language till I looked at another cleaner, she just smiled n showed me body language that my hands water dropped out of the basin. My goodness, I can t even control as there s no dryer beside me and I have to walk to the hand dryer there. Terrible service. That s why Cambodia is still under developed. The education level is poor.

Besides, the so-called duty free shop is not duty free at all. I have purchased a bottle with weight of 100ml skincare at Nagaworld duty free shop at $37, however, I thought can buy it again in airport since it s duty free but the price was $54. It was $17 different. When I questioned the staff there, she just told me buying in airport can go through the immigration. I was speechless. So don t buy anything at the duty free shop in Cambodia airport, as it was not cheap at all but very expensive.

Pretty quick service these days. Much better than it used to be. ProTip1: the Cambodian food court does nicer food than the Western food court. Protip2: take the train! It's only $2.50

Clean Airport. I am very much happy with clean wash room even after departure gate in the waiting zone for public.

The airport has two terminal buildings one for international and one for domestic operations. Recently, it added a new facility for VIP service. The international terminal has 4 aerobridges built in 2003. 3 more aerobridges were added during the passenger terminal expansion in 2016-2017. The airport's design capacity is 5 million people per year.

It is a friendly airport in Khmer ( Cambodia). The staff were very nice and kind of helpful to passengers. I love travel by Angkor air or Cambodia airline because they have a best services during the fly.
At the airport everything was not too expensive because they had menu and stick every price.

Nice airport. But flying in and getting asked for money by the customs agents is very annoying.

The international airport was small but well-maintained with all the usual facilities. There were many food and beverage outlets. Wi-Fi was provided for free and surprisingly, its speed was satisfactory considering the large number of people at the airport. The checking-in at the Air Asia was slow but the immigration check was quick and orderly.

Unfortunate gateway for first timers,here you will encounter your 1st taste of Cambodian " white-man tax".Get ready for a long wait in humid ,crowded ,noisey& caotic conditions.Witness firsthand inefficency + +,counters& info desks unstaffed.Ensure you are prepared with ample non- alcoholic fluids,eatables& patience.Bring some reading material or a fully charged musicplayer or smart phone.Check your finances,before & after you part with your cash.If you dont have the correct amount of U S $ ,then except you have a % 96 chance of getting " short - changed". There needs to be some improvement,I review with bitter experience( over 24 years in& out of Cambodia & 120 + arrivals ). Things can ONLY get better , eventrally.

Phnom Penh airport is the gateway to Cambodia. I have also seen the airports at Sihanoukville and Sieam Reap. Most of them are simple airports and not very flashy but very functional airports. The immigration and Visa on arrival does not take much time. Prenpaid taxis are available in plenty outside the airport. Lovely place and nice to be in Cambodia.

Clean and efficient airport. Small and no so busy, so very easy to navigate. Staffs are helpful.

It takes about 40-50 minute from central to the airport by tuktuk.
After you completed the check-in process, you wil go up escalator (gate 1-3 right side, gate 4-21 left side)

For my first trip to phom pen (bad luck they took a pocket from my backpack.) Complaint made no flight voucher.

It is being upgraded and met standard. Anyways, it still needs more improvement. Travelers can take the standby taxi for 12$ to any place in Phnom Penh from International Airport. Or other option, if traveler can access to Internet, can use taxi metter through Apps (PassApp taxi, We Go, UGo 711 taxi, Uber App).

Deserted, for the most part. Fast passport control/security check because very few passengers.

Normally 30 usd visa but if you dont have usd, they take 1500 THB which is 47 USD, damn you scammers!

It's my fifth time here, and staffs here troubled me three out of five times.
The checkin counter staffs are not as knowledgeable as other airports.
What I hate most is the airport security staffs as they asked to thoroughly search my hand bag, and found nothing. I don't carry any liquid nor electronic devices except my phone. I suspect that on the day with less people, they will find a way to have more work.
Although the risk of terrorism here supposed to be lower than most places, the securities are ridiculously strict. One time, I have my power bank with me, and the officer thoroughly examined it, looked for the (It's only a small one that can only fill an iPhone), but I guess she must not have it so she cannot tell by looking at the size.
It's appalling because I've been to many countries but this place is the most troublesome.
Sometimes I have to take my sandals off for security check, sandals not sneakers!
I've been to Narita many times and no trouble at all.
I've also been to Paris, Rome, Singapore, etc. and these places have never checked me this thoroughly that it feel I am being detested.
To me the staffs here are quite stupid and they don't understand the reason for each thing we have to do.

Quick and small airport. Not many amenities. Good for a short flight.

It was not crowded, but it's just underground, so you have to be very careful about finding a boarding pass.

After the new construction, it is quite good, and there are many options for eating. Now the restaurant does not provide straws. For the sake of environmental protection, the same store is of course expensive. DQ is generally eaten but Taiwan does not. DQ is the holding of Warren Buffett. One of the shares.

Used the domestic section today and it was a pleasure. Clean and relatively efficient with no hassles.

The airport is small and immigration as soon as you arrive
And it was the exit.
It is recommended that you complete the toilet before arriving and line up for immigration, as the immigration will be done immediately by airplane.

-The customs officers love to squeeze money from Cambodian dual citizenships, so just play dumb and don't give any money.

Overall okay airport. Nicely maintained. Didn't face much issue. There are some shops and restaurants inside the airport.

It's a basic airport. The drop off and pick up areas are rather crowded with many people seeing their friends and family off when it's not very spacious. Don't bother with the restrooms where the public can access. If you're flying, use the restrooms after emigration inside.

Despite the extension, I still feel it is small. Some of the staff is very slow and unprofessional. A few time the immigration officers stamped in the middle of the page of my passport. Gosh!

This is an international airport of Phnom Penh, Cambodia. There are many stores inside, restaurants, coffee and souvenir shops. There are many flight directions to the world also local flight.

ok. Small, therefore short walks. For newbies, walk out, past the expensive taxis and you will see a highway about 200 meters away. Go there, city centre is RIGHT hand (east), stop a tuk-tuk and deal in a USD 6 fare (I was alone, you might get a better deal per person) to Street 172 with street 19. That's where a lot of cheap questhouses are (starting at USD 6/night)

Be sure to visit the butterfly pavilion in the airport.

Not a big airport even though its their capital city airport so it's very crowded in peak season. Immigration staff is not friendly, and they ask for tip money! The airport taxi is not different either. They always force you to use their service with expensive fee. It's better to use bus or order online taxi (grab) from here

Friend got scammed by the visa officer. I paid $30 for a tourist visa while the officer demanded $35 for my friend. Unbelievable

Been insisted and paid only US$30 for the tourist visa on arrival. The airport building is seemed a new one. But still got a lot of rooms for improvement.

Don't exchange money here, they charge me $50 out of $250US for an exchange fee. What a total joke for a 3rd world country!!!

Small airport but good. No much duty free shops. Not busy.

It's fine. Has only the one communal business lounge, but it's of a very good standard. Economy seems okay also.
