No elevator had to carry bags to room on 2nd floor. Also no hot water for shave or shower. Hotel maintenance came to room and flipped switch in closet that turned on hot water expected a tip. I won't stay there again.

Small function halls with limited number of staff.
Excellent buffet breakfast, albeit limited on food choices.
Overall, it's an elegant old style hotel...

It was awful. Bugs in my room every morning. It s says WiFi but only if your lucky. The front desk is no help. The website uses photo shopped pics. If I never stay there again it will be too soon. Avoid!!!

The hotel is old and could use some sprucing up. Staff is accommodating, place is accessible with moderate traffic. The restaurant isn't crowded, good ambience. There are meeting rooms. Food is excellent.

The hotel was kinda old but well maintained. I love the interior design, especially the chandeliers and the lamps. Everything looks exquisite! The whole stretch of the road are filled with restos and fast food chains! You'll never get hungry!

I had an unpleasant stay at this hotel. I come to Manila regularly for work, and rarely is my hotel experience this poor.
First of all, I mostly chose this hotel because it had a nice looking pool. However, the pool was closed the duration of my stay. I was not even allowed to sit outside there to do some reading.
I was initially checked into a room on the ground floor, facing the street, which was a bit noisy.
The wallpaper in the room is literally peeling off the walls.
The staff was nice enough to accommodate my request to change to a room facing the interior. However, the room they changed me to was out of reach of any of the wifi signals. i spent an hour with the front desk trying to just get wifi (I had work to do on the laptop). After that I settled for just using my laptop in the dining area, while others ate dinner.
My corridor was quite noisy, with a very large family staying next to mine.
The breakfast was lacking, with few options and a long wait for coffee and omelets.
I really can't think of one good thing about this hotel. Even where the front count staff tried to be welcoming, the manager was unfriendly and never smiled. Bad vibes. I won't stay there if I'm in QC again.

Attended a seminar in Manansala room. Wooden stairs. Prone to slip and accident. Waiters were noisy during seminars. Staff and waiters need more training. Sound system and mic was bad. Sound system guy was MIA. Coffee machine was old with epoxy patches against leak. Comfort room was clean. Lighting was good.

If it was for the staff, it would be 5 stars, but this is an overall review so 3 stars it is.

I booked this hotel because of its location, and by going on reviews online.

The hotel structure is very old, and you have to keep that in mind. The interior has been renovated and the beds, etc. are aesthetically pleasing, however the bathroom not so much. I had a leaky shower and it was fixed with tape... the tiles had some grey-ish pattern to them... the fixtures even though seem modern are either shonkily installed or not straight or moves...

I get the paper every morning which is nice. Room servicing is inconsistent though. Most days they do an incredible job, some days it seems that they phone it in. Last night I returned to see the dirty cutlery and crockery uncollected, and coffee unreplenished. Had to ask reception to bring me fresh cups, but they never arrived. The coffee and tea did though. Oh... and bring your Off! Insect repellent. I've got a mozzie bite collection now that I get to take back to Melbourne, and 90% of the bites happened while I was in my room. Awesome AC, do dunno how these critters got me.

THIS IS THE DEAL BREAKER: the NOISE. The guests yell at each other up and down the halls, and they seem to tolerate it. Happens all hours of the day. Then they host a pool party that went until midnight, with loud music and chatter. My room is right next to the pool. For such a small hotel, they shouldn't organise events that bring discomfort to their guests at night.

However... I have to give a shout out to most of the staff. They always acknowledge me with a greeting, and are very polite all the time. With exception of one female supervisor (I'll try and find out her name and I'll post it here) who was a bit condescending and passive aggressive rude.... what the locals would call 'antipatika'. If they get rid of her, everyone else is absolutely brilliant.

Would I stay again? Probably only if I had to. Get rid of that manager, then I would reconsider. It's a pity the hotel management don't read/care about these reviews.

Noisy for sleeping. Wooden floors and weak doors make you can hear everything from outside (a carpet could minimise it). Room was clean, wifi working, food nice but bit expensive.. but working trolleys crossing by and people shouting was not for me!

We ate here after our civil wedding last January. The foods were good, but limited food choices. The lobby looks elegant but their restaurant needs improvement. I also noticed that they didn't clean the centerpieces on the tables.

It may look small but it definitely isn't a budget hotel. Plus, the interior design of the lobby itself looks classy and aesthetically pleasing. A decent events area with dim mood lighting can be found for small gatherings.

The hotel looked like it was good...decades ago. Customer service is pretty good. But hotel is old...mouldy bathrooms, not much appetizing breakfast options, old rooms etc. Breakfast egg station was not bad. 2 stars are only for service, physical hotel itself needs to improve!

By the way don't judge hotel just by its lobby...rooms are not as nice.

This is a very old hotel. Please do not book. You will regret. The paint was peeling on my room window. It's the worst hotel I ever stay in Manila and it's not cheap. However the amenity close by is very convenient. And this had nothing to do with the hotel. The closet for the clothing door are of the sliding type and it make a lot of sound while sliding. The AC is individually control.
Good things are that there are many choices of food around but these got nothing to do with the hotel.
The pictures show very nice but don't believe them.

Cozy place. More parking space for motorcycles and 4wheels. I have not been able to check in so I cannot comment on the services. But the hotel has nice function rooms. Also available for commuters.
