We were so amazed by this beautiful park, there were everything we needed
Tenis courts, cafe , playground, ponds, plenty of space for barbacue.
We had wonderful Sunday picnic.
I recommend that park specialy to families.

Beautiful park all year round, but my favourite time is definitely autumn
Downside : it closes quite early, even in spring/summer.

Great park, with excellent scenery. Good tennis courts and small playground for young children. Very hilly so good for a workout too (even if it wasn't intended)!

Beautiful park with some good up and down grades for easy walking on a sunny day. Many benches some with shade. Handicap parking near highgate entrances.

Spread over a steep slope this surely counts among London's finest medium-sized parks.
An unusual layout/footprint, superbly maintained and a distinct ambience add to the reputation and appeal of this outstanding amenity.
Highgate Cemetery abuts; all the more reason for a visit. Now do yourself a favour!

Beautiful place great for just walking and chilling out

Great Park, little bit overcrowded with pretencious people on hot days.

this park is beautiful. got ducks. got nice playgrounds and play areas. people are well behaved. not crowded. we come here often.

I has a lovely time here, the only down side was the smell of chemicals that were used by many people to ignite the bbqs they had brought with them.

A poor excuse for a park. It has no sense of personal identity.

This place is like a heaven all year long .... Absolutley Amazing for all the family....

Undulating parkland with a fabulous view over the distant city. Ducks and a playground for the little ones in your life, and access to the cafe at Lauderdale house. And I love reading the tender tributes on the numerous benches located along the pathways.

IT'S LIKING HAVING A PERSONAL BIT OF LONDON TO YOURSELF.

NO CRAZY DOG WALKERS. NO YAPPING DOGS. NO SCREAMING KIDS.

SO MUCH SPACE.

YOU DON'T EVEN HEAR LONDON TRAFFIC.

WORTH THE WALK FROM ARCHWAY TUBE.

JUST DON'T TELL PEOPLE. HA!

This place was nice and slightly less busy than Hamstead Heath

Such a wonderful park, so quiet and green. As bonus, you can visit Karl Marx's graveyard in Highgate Cemetery.

Lovely little park with different levels and a cute cafe in the mansion situated on the park grounds. A peaceful spot with some lovely trees and benches.

It's very nice but small. It's convenient because it has multiple entrances/exits, but that can also act as a complication if your trying to find other people as the maps change according to where you are.
Would recommend going in a group of meeting with people.

Another beautiful but not so well known London Park.
Very well looked after by Camden Council and they have had funding from the Lottery Heritage Fund for various improvements.
Apart from all the local people who enjoy the benefits of this really beautiful green space, it is also a walking route to the famous Highgate Cemetery.
Looks like there is some intelligent and well thought out planting going on and have to say this Park is kept in very nice condition so well done Camden.

Discovered this one a few months ago and can't stop of feeling delighted everytime I go. Beautiful and precious park.

I'm not surprised that this park is rated nearly five stars. It's one of the best parks I've ever been to and I've always came here after a long day of work. Although it's small, the park offers tennis courts, a mini playground and a pond. Everyone there seemed friendly and I felt really safe and Lauderdale house looks absolutely stunning. I would definitely recommend you to check out the park if you haven't already.

Beautiful park in Highgate with wonderful views on London

Great local park in the Highgate area. It's close to the Heath and both cemetery's.

Urban Park and Gardens. Some of it quite formal. Run by the local Council. Has a lake which is home to aquatic birds. Well located just below Highgate Village. One exit comes out at Highgate Cemetery. (Karl Marx, amongst other notables , is buried there).

Relaxing and peaceful park with beautiful gardens. Had tea from Lauderdale House then viewed Alison Meek's art exhibition Post Lux Tenebras- After Light, Darkness 2019 upstairs in the gallery. Recommend a visit.

Very nice landscape. The area is big enough for you to roam around or jog several times without the tired foot you get from much larger parks like Hampstead Heath. It showcases different sections like the enclosed garden area with fountain, the kitchen garden where you can see vegtables and spices grown, children's playground, 2 ponds with loads of ducks and other birds and a quite and enclosed lagoon area. This park is very famous for picnics during summer. Barbecues are allowed in 80% of the park. Signs will show you where the prohibited areas are for barbecues. Overall quiet and beautiful place to just appreciate nature.

Lovely park and great space with an interesting history for its creation! Tennis, cafe (toilets are here and shut at 5pm), playgrounds, picnics and bbqs - can heartily recommend.

Tranquil oasis with the most amazingly clear pond water, so clear you could see fish and the ducks' legs paddling.
