Waterlow Park Bird Aviary Reviews

Waterlow Park is one of my favourite spots in London. The park has great views across London and also hosts the stunning Lauderdale House with its manicured gardens, and for such a beautiful place is often fairly quiet as well. We also enjoy a game of tennis here occasionally, the courts are at the top of the park and are easy to book and well kept.

A fantastic and expansive green space. Eady to get too from all across london. Suitable for picnics, kite flying. Has a cafe and a BBQ area. Well kept and maintained.

it's got long walks great seats and mostly uncrowded. Go there every day!

Gorgeous Park in London's Highgate. Very Green and Relaxing.

A great park - very scenic and calming. Great for a quick stroll as well as spending a lazy weekend afternoon. need to walk through the park to access highgate cemetery if coming form the tube station.
Would definitely come back again.

Beautiful location, especially in the summer sun. Plenty to see, highly recommend it for an afternoon out or a picnic!

Nice local park. Has children's playground with swings and slide and merry go round. Has very steep sections so anyone with backache should be prepared. Nearby cafe.. some statues and ornamental features. Plenty of older big trees and a fenced pond with wildlife. Can be accessed from main road that is served by buses. Back entrance opens within yards to Highgate cemetery (which also is right next to this park separated by a fence).

Very good. Very well kept. Sensible rules re BBC - limited areas clearly shown. I used to think it was gloomy or boring - no longer.

Very lovely park, which is not to crowded and close to the very interesting Highgate cemetery.

Great place for outdoors, spacious and tidy place for walks with family, kids and friends. Good for reflection and fantastic view of London

Hidden gem of Archway. Great for dog walking and barbecues in summer and not too crowded.

Gorgeous hidden gem. From raised patio area at top, to sloping paths, greenery and tree cover, this is a wonderful, peaceful retreat. Gets the sun right to sunset as well as it's at the very top of Highgate Hill.

A very clean and open green space, a fantastic way to spend a warm evening.

A pleasant park with a lake, bird life and a decent children's play area.

Gorgeous park! My son has learnt to ride his two wheeler bike in this park. We've had picnics and play dates - so much space to run around and have fun or for taking a stroll. Would definitely recommend!

Gorgeous, well-maintained neighborhood park. I've spent many a sunny day here napping, reading, eating, and just passing the time. It's one of my favourite spaces in London.

Plenty of benches and bins so I can bring food and not worry about where to toss it; lots of trees to sit against and do some reading. In a great area, too, so I can always run out and grab food or buy a book or something to take back into the park with me.

One of my favourite parks. There's a beautiful kitchen garden, isolated areas for workout and the wildlife is stunning.

Lovely local park, great for small kids. Popular with runners (lots of hills) and dog walkers. Two ponds and near Highgate cemetery. Often exhibitions in Lauderdale House (in gardens). Also a cafe.

Beautiful place. Cafe, lakes, great place for picnic and walking the dogs. Lovely statues and gardens and if tennis takes your fancy, there is a court there also.
Kids play park with a dog free zone.

Nice little park with some exercise machines, some sport areas and some patches of grass. Quite nice in the sun and during the day but perhaps a little dodgy at night....

Beautiful park, duckpond and such a huge array of many different trees! Also has a lovely cafe. Coffee is divine!!

Really lovely and we'll set out park with rolling, grassy hills, a duck pond, playground and views of central London.

Nice open space on London. Not far from Highgate cemetery and parliament hill. On a nice day its great, but it can get busy on weekends if weather is good.

Compact and peaceful park near Highgate cemetery. The playground is tasteful all made of wood. The cafe has reopened and is fine

Beautiful views of London. Not too big, not too small. Good for kids.

Nice and calm park next to the high street. The park offers a few open air tennis courts. The kids like the playground.

Very relaxing . Coffee shop needed more to offer and the rose garden was dissapointing but, apart from that, the view was fabulous and plently of park benches to sit on.

Park of my childhood. Many happy memories of going there on a Sunday morning with my dad in the early 70s, feeding acorns to the squirrels, listening to the myna birds talking in the aviary and just generally enjoying the beauty and ambience of the place. Visiting again in adulthood, nothing has changed and it is still a brilliant place to visit.

HG opera at Lauderdale House - Sunitra by Holst - support young singers in outdoor performance
