Beautiful park in Highgate with lots of secret paths to explore and a partial view of the city's skyscrapers. Great spot for a picnic or a game of frisbee.
Great place for kids as long as dog walkers pick there poo! Up.
Lovely little park with a couple of ponds and a nice cafeteria. Right next to Highgate cemetery.
Great views of London without the Hampstead heath crowds.
Very beautiful park. Well kept and classy without being too rigid. The craft market they have in the Lauderdale house is also very nice and there's tennis courts at the top.
Lovely park in North London. Good location for family activities, nice morning exercise or hang up with friends.
Beautiful park, great places to sit, would love to go for a picnic when the weather is good
Locals are not friendly and very watchy but park is beautiful
Lovely day in cleaned park with family I have not seen thanks to the lockdown. Not too busy and loads of space to play and relax.
Beautiful and peaceful. Plenty of space to walk and sir to watch the ducks with their ducklings.
I spent an afternoon in this beautiful park between walks and relaxation on the grass..green as in a fairy tale, clean, frequented by Londoners with and without children ... tidy, silent, a must see
Not bad, but lots of spoofers. I hear Finsbury is nice
A wonderful park with lots of memories of different people.
It is a very beautiful park but I do not recommend it in winter it is very cold
Have been coming here all my life. It is a tranquil beauliful escape from busy life. Very clean, nice cafe, duck pond, tennis court. What more do you need!
Nice Park. A good place to visit after appointments at the Whittington Hospital, especially if your companion isn't allowed to accompany you due to pandemic restrictions.
A very pleasant park with walks a small lake and children's play area. Easy access paths good with toilets. Cafe very good for tea and coffees or a quick snack.
One of my favourite parks in London. Very cosy and beautiful!
Lovely park to walk around it also has a very large pond
Lovely place, very clean and quiet. Lots of beaches to sit and admire the beauty of nature.
En route to Highgate Cemetery, and even on a damp dismal day, there were plenty of visitors enjoying the park.
Dogs allowed to run free, which is good to see
I would imagine the park is a splendid place for picnics in the warmer months
Lovely, hilly and serene park with great views of london
Its a very nice park where you can really relax and have lots fun with kids.
Beautiful Park with phenomenal views from the top and a super cafe
My favourite London park, a delight to stroll round or grab a bite and a coffee
Very nice park for a lunchtime stroll on a sunny day.
Excellent place very well maintained and very peaceful.
Huge park with tennis courts, playgrounds and kitchen garden. Great place to relax with friends or good book
London's nicest park. If you have any food on you, watch out for the geese who have no fear and will happily steal from your pocket
Beautiful, peaceful park with green, rolling hills and brilliant views of the city. The playground is quite small and limited though, so not ideal for children.
Very cozy park. There are lots of birds there - don t forget seeds :)
A very peaceful garden. As Sir Sydney Waterlow said "a garden for gardenless", this 125 years old enviro will do calm you down in the city and enjoy the view of The CITY ~
Very nice and relaxing atmosphere. Enjoyed my stay very much. And, surprise surprise, you can do a barbecue.
Lovely retreat in the heart of Highgate, can be busy with dog walkers. Cafe available for after the morning or afternoon constitutional
The grounds are so beautiful and peaceful.
Lived in North London for years never knowing of its existence..so happy I found it.
Spectacular views and tons of space. Hits the sun just right on a warm day and very safe.
My favorite park in London! Waterloo park is located in Highgate and it represents a real hidden gem where to de-stress and relax, running away from the chaos of the city!
I love going for long walks and/or exercise here. The scene is wonderful, especially during the spring time. There are some beautiful cherry blossom trees and a wide green area where to play or run. Furthermore, this park is rarely crowded, making it a perfect destination to clear up your mind and re-energize your body!
I would 100% recommend visiting if you're looking for a place to spend some "self-care" time. You will love it and will become a stable visitor like myself!
It is, indeed, a beautiful park with space enough to host hundreds of people. During weekends and when it is hot it is a bit crowded. A lot, and I mean A LOT, of families are taking over everything. Playing games, music, bbq, children running around and screaming. It looks like it is a haven for a family escape. If you want to avoid the mess try visiting during weekdays so that you can enjoy the beauty of this lovely park.
Just a great local park with some of the most beautiful trees.
Lovley park never seems to get really busy and well kept tennis courts
A very nice park with possibilities for bathing if you re interested. I found it a bit weird that it was only for men???
Lovely Park, ideal for a stroll around the ponds on Boxing Day trying to digest the tons of food eaten during Christmas. It also has nice tennis courts for the sports lovers.
Beautiful park great views of London lovely cafe for takeaway well worth the visit
Surprised to find out you can have BBQ's in this park. There are beautiful, peaceful areas to sit and relax.
It is a pleasant place, with very varied vegetation and well maintained. It has different natural environments, to harmonize with the mood or preferences of visitors: meditation, meditation, family or friends meetings, great tennis courts to learn and train, special area for children. Hiking trails and for amateur athletes
Lovely, quiet, dog-friendly, and relatively empty on a Monday afternoon.
Great place to visit, specially in the summer, friendly staff, the cafeteria, really nice park.
Great Park, though of course some Community Members don't care about the mess they make and/or how to use a Lavatory. Keep it Clean , Keep it Enjoyable for EVERYONE.
Lots of interesting areas, cafe and great views of London
Very Good for people of all ages - enough space for a range of activites - all sorts of lovely trees , flower beds, and views , cafe and toilet...
Great hidden gem of park in North London right next to Highgate. There are great views over London from the terraces and a really nice Cafe in one of the houses.
Brilliant place good atmosphere family friendly park.
Great view of London City Center (the Shard, the Gherkin ...). The parks in London are oases and provide time to rest from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Tennis courts and 2 playgrounds. Ponds and lovely trees with open spaces and splendid views of London. Including St Paul's Cathedral and the skyline.
Stunning view of London in a secluded spot in Highgate. The park features a tearoom, two large ponds, bird sanctuary, a conservation area and a tennis club. Running alongside the park you'll find the famous Highgate cemetery.
It is an old disused railway path to be traveled on foot or by bicycle that goes into the woods close to the city, beautiful.
