Beautiful rolling park that slips down from Highgate High Street to the cemetery. Lots of benches with pretty views down the hill and hidden spots around the nature ponds. Two playgrounds for children of different ages (0-5/5+).

I have been going to this cafe all my life and it's a miracle it still there.

outside the same benches the same green, same little pond which these days doesn't have so many coin's thrown into it. Inside still a lovely family run Italian Sandwich bar with proper meals as well
Prices are a little high but the surroundings make it worth it

Lovely well looked after park with lovely flower beds, and wilder spots. Even when busy you'll easily find a quiet spot.

Beautifully layed out presentation with mahoosive trees, ponds, stream, waterfall, bridges, greenspaces, urns, statues and house. Popular with the locals

Fantastic space with great views of London and loads of places for kids to play. Nice cafe too!

Nice park in Highgate, with a little cafe for breakfast/brunch

+ Cafe nearby in Lauderdale House.

+ Friendly people walking a diverse range of dogs and children(!).

+ A bell that rings when the gates are locked.

+An interesting history explained on boards at the various entrances.

The only thing that would improve this park is if it was bigger and I lived nearer!

This place is really good and they allow you to do bbq there are restrictions on what type of bbq you can use.

Always a lovely experience; Lauderdale house is lovely with lots of family friendly events and the park itself is well maintained.

Beautiful views across London, pond & nature reserve areas, abundance of trees & flora, historic Lauderdale House with its exhibitions & events and tennis courts...what more could one ask?

Really beautiful haven in London, the cafe is good enough to save wondering out and plenty of different landscapes to walk around. The herb Garden in fab.

Lovely park. It's hilly and quite steep, but there are loads of benches. Very Shady, lots of lovely mature trees, amazingly quite for London. The new cafe is really nice as well, totally different from when I last came here a few years ago.

Was and is a Lovely Place, Sadly certain types of People, drop rubbish, burn the Grass and have no Sence of Pride in how to use Western Lavatory.

Is a great park full with flowers and shrubs, tennis court available as well. But from here you can have an epic view of London.

I went back to this park after years. Lovely to see it looking so good. Great natural environment and I enjoyed walking through. Thank you to those who work hard to take care of it. I particularly loved the small and large pond area...Can't wait to visit again!

Nice, well-kept park. Good place to go and strum your acoustic guitar and sing Bryan Adams songs to pick up girls.

Amazing park! Beautiful and not too crowded. It even has toilets. The experience started badly as the park manager wouldnt let us use disposable bbq on top of the concrete but all changed when he was so kind as to give us a non-disposable one to continue our bbq.

Lovely park, directly opposite the entrance to Highgate Cemetery. One of the least known green spaces in the area and surprisingly quiet.

Nicely landscaped and well maintained. Excellent cafe and toilet facilities.

Barbecues are allowed in designated areas - pity that some people abuse this facility by inflicting their music on everyone within a 100m radius, rather than keeping the volume down, as signs instruct.

Despite these selfish people, however, it is an overall excellent experience.

Lovey open park in Highgate North London. Toilet facilities which is a bonus. Beautifully kept gardens. Nice cafe offering a.variety of sandwiches and hot food as well as hot and cold beverages.

A truly beautiful park positioned alongside Highgate Cemetery. This park offers a range of wildlife including woodpeckers, parakeets, terrapins sunbathing on logs in the pond, and of course, squirrels. A climb up the very steep hill is rewarded by views of the city, including At Paul's cathedral, and Lauderdale House offers delicious (if pricey) cakes and bakes. The gluten-free brownie is s must, regardless of dietary requirements! This park is beautiful in all seasons but visit in the spring to find the magnolia in full blossom, or autumn to enjoy the explosion of colour. With ducks to feed, a children's play area, huge lawns for dogs to frolick on, and benches with a view, this park truly has something for everyone.

Well kept park , but even here is no refuge from barbecues adding to London's atrocious air quality.

Super park, close to Highgate cemetery and Hampstead heath. Lovely lakes, beautiful flowers and trees and plenty of freshly mown grass. It was 5pm, people were chilling out on the grass having barbies and family picnics in the glorious sun. There was a cafe which serves hot and cold food and a play park for the kids. Well kept and a great place to relax and enjoy.

I love this park so much. It's massive, the view is fantastic and it's super pretty.

In the different seasons of the year the park at different times of the day is a scene to be seen & works wonders for the imagination.

Great food, music and people. Went for an photography exhibitions. Lovely atmosphere and some good old dub vinyls. Even met up with an actress there

"Multi-level" park: beautiful views of the city (at the top) as well as ponds (at the bottom). There is a cafe. O/w it's possible to BBQ on certain areas

Varied park with interesting history. It's position on a steep hill gives some good views towards London.
